This was our second time there for a class reunion. About 30 people for dinner. The service was always super fast, friendly, even funny and absolutely professional. The food wasn't cheap but it was good and sufficient. I would go there again at any time and recommend eating there to others. Gladly again.

It has enough parking space and quiet. Service is quick but they often mix up the orders, but are nice if you give them back. Otherwise delicious and welcome. The chairs might be better more comfortable because they are so traditional. Otherwise OK

We were looking for something close to the Premier Inn Hotel and this restaurant came up... unfortunately for me and my wife it was nothing, especially the service and the kitchen was inflexible, there was no smile from the lips, the food was loveless, maybe I'm too demanding but I am I think if you do this job as a waitress or cook then you should have some passion and desire but okay if you are happy with it then here you go...

Wonderful food, large portions, great service!

We only visited the restaurant. Lunch was good, cheap and well prepared. The waitresses were friendly. The restaurant is rustically furnished and there is also a beautiful beer garden. The Schlemmerblock voucher was also accepted for the lunch dishes. Credit card payment is possible. We will eat there again.

I only rate the restaurant. For me, the question of 4 or 5 stars is a question of initial expectations. This is a cozy, home-style beer bar that - in keeping with these expectations - offers very good food and different varieties of beer made in-house in the brewery next door. Everything is very clean, the staff is very friendly and very helpful, a place is always found for new guests. The dishes are prepared quickly and yet tasty and appetizing. Generally speaking, the prices are really cheap. If I were to compare this restaurant with other establishments like the Munich Hofbräuhaus, it would actually be six stars. But since I'm trying to rate a general restaurant level, it's 4 stars, although this should represent a very good rating for home-style cuisine without the special finesse of haute cuisine. And I would particularly like to highlight the price/performance ratio as very positive again.

The attached beer garden is rather disruptive to hotel operations. Unfortunately, you can get a good night's sleep very late.

It's close to the motorway and the hotel and restaurants are just great, something you rarely find these days.

I was cycling and stopped for dinner.

I don't like writing bad reviews, but unfortunately I have no other option here. I was in the beer garden with a work colleague on a Saturday. There was very little going on, but everything still took a long time. Both the intake of the drinks and the delivery of them took 20 minutes and then another 20 minutes until the food was taken. We were the only guests with 2 other 2 tables. Not a problem per se, we had time. The food was delivered quickly and it tasted really good. Unfortunately, my colleague had 3 hairs in his breading from the schnitzel. This absolutely shouldn't be the case. When we brought it up, our waitress more or less didn't care. “Oh, that's stupid, I'm sorry” was the only comment - “can I take the plates with me?” In my opinion an absolute no-go. Both the hair in the food and the reaction were a disgrace. I will avoid the brewery restaurant in the future.

Nice beer garden right next to the brewery, the beer tastes really good and the food was perfectly fine too. So value for money is still ok, especially the food is a bit expensive in my opinion.

The food was excellent but took a very long time to be served. We had to wait an hour for Alwine's first beer.

The Bischofshof Braustuben are located just outside of downtown Regensburg near the Hotel Premier Inn, where we stayed. You can sit outside and inside here, there are lots of places. There aren't many parking spaces, so we had to look for them first. The service was very friendly. We weren't entirely impressed with the food, but it was okay. You sit in a rustic interior and cozy in the beer garden. The beer was very tasty.

Rooms were very clean, the staff and the boss were very accommodating and helpful. We were at the castle and in the city center in 15 minutes. Conclusion: we would love to come back.

On our way through during our holiday in July 2024, we read the reviews and decided to go to the restaurant. It was very busy on Thursday evening, July 18. Once we were seated, a female waitress came over with a grumpy face and an unfriendly tone to tell us that they were way too busy in the kitchen and that we would have to wait at least half an hour. Without a chance to order a drink from her, she left. We didn't get a chance to order a drink from her or her colleagues afterwards. We were completely ignored by the staff. After waiting for more than half an hour, we left. We understood that we had to wait, but the way we were treated was not really customer friendly. They don't understand much about customer experience there, even when it's busy.

Nice approach but not enough space for unloading

We were there for dinner on Saturday evening. Reservation over the phone worked perfectly, the service was very friendly, the food was delivered quickly and tasted very good. I can recommend this restaurant at any time. Before eating, the children were given something to paint so they wouldn't get bored. Unfortunately it rained so we couldn't use the beautiful beer garden.

We were in the restaurant for the second time today and were very impressed both times. You can sit outside in the beer garden, which is very nice, and inside in the bright and friendly restaurant. Service was both very friendly and quick. The food was very tasty and there is also a very cheap business lunch every weekday. There is a dedicated parking space and the guest room is barrier-free and easy to reach with a walker. We are looking forward to the next time.

The beer garden is great, a free spirit and schnitzel with fries on a bed of rocket are not as powerful as it sounds. The side salad was also a very pleasant surprise in terms of taste.

We were there over Pentecost and felt really comfortable. Regensburg, a beautiful city with nice people! :-) The Hotel Bischofshof is in a quiet location within walking distance of the city center. Good German cuisine with a great beer garden. Homely and comfortable. Very sweet and nice staff and owners. We'll definitely come back again!

The food in the brewery was excellent - the whole family had large and tasty portions - my sauerbraten was generous and tasty. The service was quick and friendly and the beer garden was very quiet and cozy.

Wir wollten einfach nur ein leckeres Bier trinken und entdeckten im Innenhof des Gebäudes einen sehr schönen Biergaren. Der Empfang durch einen sri-lankischen Kellner in Tracht war ausgesprochen herzlich. Sehr einladend. Charmant, witzig. Die Getränke waren auch ausgesprochen lecker und der Service super. Gerne wieder. Alle hatten wohl ne Menge Spaß an der Arbeit.

We went to the restaurant spontaneously. In general, everything was tasty, fast and of high quality. Very tasty beer and apple juice of our own production. It is a pity that there are not many photos and reviews, because we do not speak German, and the staff does not speak English very well, so there were some misunderstandings. Located a little outside, but within walking distance of our hotel (Premier Inn). Used to be in the old town. Large beer garden, beautiful rooms (interiors). Delicious beer and food. There were hotel rooms available, but we didn't use them. Right next to it is the brewery and the remains of the old Jahnstadion. There is now a school on the site.

We had a meeting in one of the adjoining rooms. Everything is very quaint. The staff was in a great mood, the food and drinks were great. The price was very reasonable.

We went for lunch unannounced on Palm Sunday. It was very full, but we still managed to get a table. Reservations are recommended. The crusted roast was extremely tasty and the crust was really crispy. The service was excellent. Clear recommendation!

The food is good, home-style, of course limited to regional dishes, but that's how it should be in a Bavarian tavern. Nice ambience, nice service, I would dine there again at any time.

The opening with new, very committed tenants is at the beginning of June 2022. We are really looking forward to it. The events are organized with a lot of passion and Bavarian culture.

02/19/2024 - eat on site with a group of 15 people This restaurant can really be described as a Bavarian inn. The food tastes fabulous and the portions are more than enough ☺️ The conditions were quite friendly and not mushy (insolent). The ambience is very good mediocre 👍🏻 We recommend. P.S.: a currywurst with a decent amount of fries for 11.90 is really very inexpensive for a place like this

We were here and ate a schnitzel each. The portions were decent and the taste was really good. Parking spaces are right next to the beer garden. However, it is otherwise quite difficult to find a parking space in the area.

We stopped in Regensburg on the way to vacation. We spontaneously had a delicious meal there...

The service was a bit rude. When I asked if we could have some ketchup for the portion of fries, the answer was not really understandable and a mini bowl of ketchup was shoved in front of the child's nose.

We had dinner in the pub. Nice staff and cozy rooms. The portions were very large and the quality was good. We ate with a voucher booklet and it worked very well. Gladly again
