Bischofshof Braustuben in Regensburg

Die Bischofshof Braustuben in Regensburg haben mich auf ganzer Linie überzeugt. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich und typisch bayerisch, sodass man sich direkt wohlfühlt. Zum Schnitzeltag hatte ich das Cordon Bleu, das wirklich hervorragend war. Die Panade war schön knusprig, das Fleisch saftig und die Füllung perfekt abgestimmt. Die Portion war großzügig und qualitativ absolut überzeugend. Als Nachtisch gab es einen Kaiserschmarrn, der ebenfalls richtig lecker war – locker, frisch zubereitet und genau so, wie man ihn sich wünscht. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich auch den Service. Das Personal war ausgesprochen freundlich, aufmerksam und professionell. Man wurde schnell bedient und hatte jederzeit das Gefühl, als Gast willkommen zu sein. Insgesamt ein rundum gelungener Besuch mit sehr gutem Essen und erstklassigem Service. Ich komme gerne wieder und kann die Bischofshof Braustuben uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen.

Eine wunderbare Braustube, die zum Essen, Trinken und verweilen einlädt. Das Bier ist süffig lecker, das Essen schmackhaft - wenn ich in Regensburg bin, komme ich auf jeden Fall wieder 🤗

Meine Frau und ich waren heute dort, da wir in der Nähe im Hotel untergekommen sind. Der Schweinekrustenbraten war ausgezeichnet. Das natruebe Radler war auch sehr lecker. Der Service war top.

Wir waren da um was zu trinken Dor Hauseigene süße Rotweinschorle ist sehr zu empfehlen Genauso wie das Bier

Die Schnitzel waren köstlich, die rothaarige Bedienung sehr nett.

Urige Gaststätte mit Biergarten. Typisch bayerische Küche. Randlage, aber nur wenige Gehminuten vom Premier Inn entfernt, wo wir logiert hatten.

Vom Zentrum aus muss man ein Stück raus, aber wahrscheinlich liegt es genau daran, dass es hier noch nach echtem Biergarten wirkt und nicht nach Touristenfalle. Service entspannt und freundlich, Bier (Bischofshof, was sonst) richtig gut gezapft, Essen herzhaft und solide. Kommen gern wieder.

Ein nettes Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Personal. Wir wurden von Caroline bedient, die sehr gut Englisch spricht, aber auch die andere Dame spricht Englisch. Es gibt ein kostenloses Salatbuffet zum Essen. Die Portionen sind groß und die Preise sehr angemessen. Das Bier ist fantastisch. Sehr empfehlenswert für alle, die gut essen möchten.

Ich habe in dem Hotel geschlafen da mein Kind in der nahe gelegenen Klinik behandelt wurde. Das Personal war total zuvorkommend, herzlich und verständnisvoll. Das Essen hat geschmeckt. Alles in allem genau die richtige Unterkunft für unsere Situation.

Wir saßen in einem Restaurant. Jedes Gericht war himmlisch. Wenn Sie in der Gegend sind, sollten Sie unbedingt dort zu Mittag essen. Freundlicher und schneller Service.

Schönes, sehr sauberes Hotel, nur 15 Gehminuten von der Altstadt entfernt, ruhige Lage mit sehr schönem großem Biergarten. Sehr aufmerksames und hilfsbereites Personal.

Ein gutes Hotel um Regensburg zu erkunden. Wird sicher auch unsere Anlaufstelle bein nächsten Mal. In die Altstadt muss man zwar ein paar Meter laufen, dafür ist die Anreise mit dem Auto völlig unproblematisch (Erreichbarkeit/Parkmöglichkeit)

Schöner Gasthof mit rustikalem Flair, Zimmer sauber, schönes Bad, tolles Frühstück!!!! - nettes freundliches Personal - war aktuell zum 3.Mal da und i'll be Back 😉 Altstadt fußläufig in 10 Minuten zu erreichen - 2 schöne Parks in unmittelbarer Nähe - also für meinen Geschmack tolle Lage --- EMPFEHLENSWERT

Nettes Lokal etwas abseits der Innenstadt. Die Braustuben bietet ein klassisches, bayerisches Wirtshauserlebnis, auch der Biergarten ist gepflegt. Besonders auch für Kartenspieler geeignet. Der Service war freundlich und zuvorkommend, lediglich die Preise für die Hauptspeisen am Abend empfand ich etwas zu hoch für die Lage des Lokals. Die Preise für die Brotzeitkarte und für die Getränke sind jedoch in Ordnung und vergleichbar mit anderen gleichartigen Lokalen.

Leckere Speisen und Getränke, hervorragender und sehr freundlicher Service. Jederzeit gerne wieder! 😊

Noch ein originales Wirtshaus mit sehr freundlichem, guten Service. Ich das Essen war sehr gut und wurde trotz Mittagszeit in angemessener Zeit serviert. Parkplätze direkt am Haus und die Zufahrt über die Klenzebrücke gestalten eine Anreise mit dem Auto trotz der innenstadtnahen Lage unkompliziert. Die Hotelzimmer kann ich nicht beurteilen, da wir nur zum Essen dort waren.

Weiß leider nicht wo die guten Bewertungen herkommen. Essen war okay aber definitiv kommen wir nicht wieder. Die Schweinshaxe war zäh, das Sauerkraut mehr als sauer und die Käsepressknödel mit Sauerkraut trocken und geschmackslos und den Preis 17.90 Euro für 2 Käsepressknödel mit Sauerkraut nicht wert. Eine Schweinshaxe mit Knödel kostet dagegen nur 1 Euro mehr und man hat was am Teller.

Das Essen war in Ordnung, aber teuer. Im Lokal war es sehr voll, daher dementsprechend laut. Insgesamt den Preisen nicht angemessen. Vergleichbare Qualität gibt es in Regensburg auch günstiger.

Es hat genug Parkplatz und ruhig. Service ist schnell da aber oft verwechseln sie die Bestellungen,sind aber nett wenn du denen zurück gibst. Sonst lecker und gern dabei. Die Stühle vielleicht besser mehr bequemer sein, weil so traditionell alt sind. Am sonst OK

Wer Geduld trainieren möchte, ist hier genau richtig. 1 Stunde und 30 Minuten Wartezeit auf das Essen sind offenbar Teil des Konzepts. Auf Nachfrage gab es statt einer Entschuldigung eine freche Antwort der Bedienung – Service mit Überraschungseffekt. Kulinarisch kamen wir irgendwann auch noch dran. Nächstes Jahr sparen wir uns das Erlebnis und werden am ersten Weihnachtsfeiertag wo anders essen.

We had room 12. It's huge and newly furnished. Unfortunately, there's a constant humming noise. However, it stopped before 10 p.m.!

The service was absolutely impeccable. Unfortunately, the ambiance and especially the food were unsatisfactory. The food was greasy, unbalanced, and some of it overcooked. It really didn't taste good... which was a shame, especially since it was relatively expensive.

The atmosphere was very cozy, the restaurant has a truly lovely Bavarian charm. The staff was very friendly and attentive. The food was indescribably delicious! I had pork knuckle with dark beer sauce, sauerkraut, and a dumpling. The portion size was perfect, and the price was absolutely justified. I've never eaten such an authentic, delicious pork knuckle! I will definitely visit this restaurant again whenever I'm in Regensburg. Thank you so much!

We celebrated a 60th birthday today with 36 people at the Bischofshof Braustuben. We received excellent and friendly service throughout, and our requests were very well accommodated. The food was absolutely delicious, and we were all able to eat together. We can wholeheartedly recommend the Bischofshof Braustuben for celebrations and parties.

Beautiful brewery inn with a shady beer garden. Good food and tasty beers. The rooms are decent. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired.

First impressions were good: cozy interior, appealing menu! That was it, unfortunately! Drinks took 20 minutes; there were two of us there. Our order: two roast pork dishes and a side salad to start with. It arrived and tasted of nothing. Then the roast pork was served with dumplings. When the waitress said she'd bring the salad right away, I mentioned that roast pork comes with cabbage. No, that's not true, and they brought two of those bland salads. The waitress then looked at the menu in the background but still didn't bring us the cabbage. We asked for the menu again and showed her that we were right. Then the waitress actually said there were two options. When I asked if she hadn't noticed that we'd ordered a salad as a starter, which you wouldn't do if another one came along, she replied that she was surprised. They then removed the one side salad from the bill and, as an apology, simply said that she had only been working there for three days. If only we had read the other reviews, our dinner would have been more enjoyable elsewhere. Unfortunately, the price/performance ratio was only a *.

Excellent Wiener Schnitzel, cooked just right. The small portion was perfect for me. Accompanied by a delicious Zweigelt wine... and very friendly service!

I can't comment on the rooms, as I was only there for dinner. The selection is good and well-organized, which for me always means freshness and very good quality. And that was exactly what it was. The service was superb, and the food was simply excellent. I can only recommend it to everyone. I was there with eight people, and everyone was satisfied/delighted. 5 stars from me.

Three-night stay in mid-October 2025. Room was clean and adequately spacious. Good breakfast buffet. Very quiet. Large parking lot. Excellent location. 15-minute walk to the old town or two bus stops away. We ate there twice. Always excellent. Very attentive staff. Extremely friendly owners.

Schnitzel Tuesday is also good for vegetarians, thanks to quinoa. Super friendly service and excellent beer. I'll be back 👍😋

We were in Bischofshof Braustuben for the first time. We did not like it, the food was not cooked and it was also cold

I don't understand all the positive reviews. We waited forever. The table next to us left after 25 minutes without ordering. The food wasn't okay; one of us had hair in his food. Unfortunately, the waiter didn't care, and there was no apology or other compensation.

I'm rating the food. It was sensational! We had the tartar and beetroot for starters. The main courses were the absolute highlights! The pork knuckle, and even more so the duck, were phenomenal! The service was excellent.

Very cozy atmosphere, very good service, but the food (roast pork with potato dumplings and sauerkraut in dark beer sauce) was disappointing. The dumplings were large, but rather tasteless—I think they were convenience foods—and the meat was reheated. Disgusting, unacceptable, especially not for 17.50.

The Bischofshof Braustube is a very nice restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The food and drinks were excellent, and the service was friendly and attentive. Everything was perfect – a successful visit that I would happily recommend.

Delicious food at generally fair prices. The location isn't the best, as it's a bit out of the way, but it's right next to the brewery, which probably explains the location. The service is good, but the seating isn't quite as nice as many other beer gardens in Regensburg.

A little later on a Friday evening (around 8:30 p.m.), the three of us – my husband, our 10-year-old daughter, and I – went to the Bischofshof Braustuben in Regensburg for dinner. The atmosphere was very pleasant: the dining room was busy, with almost all tables occupied, which speaks to the restaurant's popularity. Nevertheless, the mood was relaxed and welcoming. Service: The waitress was extremely friendly, accommodating, and even had a quick joke on her lips. We'd like to particularly highlight the fact that my husband accidentally ordered fries instead of potato salad with his schnitzel. The waitress reacted promptly and brought us an additional bowl of potato salad – very nice and uncomplicated. Food & Drinks: We ordered a wheat beer spritzer, a shandy, and an apple spritzer. My husband had the Wiener Schnitzel with fries: The schnitzel was perfectly prepared, golden brown and juicy, the fries nice and crispy and well-seasoned. I had the roast pork with dumplings: The meat was lean, not too fatty, and the sauce was wonderfully hearty and creamy – just as you'd hope. Our daughter chose two grated dumplings in a dark sauce and was quite full, as the dumplings were nice and large. All in all, the meal was well-rounded, very tasty, and served promptly, even though we arrived late. Prices: The menu is appealing and offers a good selection, although it must be said that the prices are on the higher end. For example, the shandy costs €4.90, the roast pork €17.90, and the schnitzel is around €17-18, the cordon bleu €22.90, and the pork knuckle €19.90. Conclusion: Despite the higher prices, we felt completely at home. The food was delicious, the service warm and attentive, and the kitchen prepared everything fresh even shortly before closing time. We'll definitely be back – next time I'll try the homemade cheese dumplings, and my husband will try the creamed mushrooms with bread dumplings. Highly recommended!

We'd like to express our sincere appreciation for the Bischofhof Braustuben! We had our funeral dinner here. From the advice and menu suggestions to the decor and service, we absolutely adore them! The service was prompt. The food was first-class; we tried several different dishes. Everyone enjoyed it, and everyone said we'd go there now. Ms. Schäfer, the service manager, accommodated all our requests! The adjoining room seats up to 70 people. The food is first-class, top-notch! You can truly enjoy traditional Bavarian food here! We'll be back. Highly recommended! We can't rate the rooms, but we can rate the inn.

A bit outside of Regensburg's city center. The single room I stayed in was well-equipped and clean. Room cleaning was sometimes poor, sometimes non-existent. Breakfast was generally good, but unfortunately only pre-baked rolls. The beer garden was beautifully located, with service ranging from good to poor depending on the staff. The food portions were rather small for a beer garden. Parking was difficult to find in the evenings.

The food was really good, the atmosphere was nice. However, the service wasn't so satisfactory – there was hardly anyone at our table to ask if we needed anything else, orders were forgotten, and no one had been at our table for the last hour. Even when we announced that we wanted to pay, no one came, and we ended up having to go inside to say we wanted to pay again, and we paid inside. It's a shame.

A lovely place to stay in Regensburg. Easily accessible by bus. Parking available. Clean rooms, super friendly staff. Excellent breakfast and food. A cozy, shady beer garden. Quiet location. I've been here three times. I'll be back...

Very unfriendly and completely unprofessional service! I ordered a schnitzel with fried potatoes, and was served schnitzel with potato salad. When I pointed it out, the waiter returned with the same plate and simply said we must have "misunderstood" each other – whether the potato salad would be enough. A correction? No such thing. Instead, I was offered espresso or fruit brandy, even though I don't drink either. Anyone who treats guests like that shows that service doesn't matter. A clear failure in my opinion – definitely not recommended!

I can only review the food here. Yesterday, five of us went to eat in the busy beer garden. Our orders were taken by a very friendly young lady. The drinks arrived quickly. The food (schnitzel, fish, sausage salad) also arrived promptly and at the same time. Everything was very tasty and we enjoyed it immensely. I'd like to give the young lady who served us an extra 🌟. We'll be happy to come back.
