Gasthof Parzefall in Regensburg

A very nice Bavarian restaurant with delicious food. We were a group of 15 and were served promptly and friendly. Our highlight was the Schmankerl Brotzeit (snack). All portions were very generous.

The Altmünchner Schnitzel is simply unbeatable. Simply amazing 👍👍👍

11/23 We had a pleasant, enjoyable evening with our group. The staff (friendly and efficient) and the food on offer (all top-notch) contributed to this. We had no complaints and were completely satisfied.

We were there for work on schnitzel day (Tuesday). The entire meal was very good and plentiful.

We went to the beer garden for dinner with a group of 12 people. The feedback was consistently disappointing: schnitzel cooked in a deep fryer, probably using too much fat. Fries were cold. Cheese spaetzle was mushy and floury, undercooked. Salad was probably a few days old and soggy. Positive: large portions. But too expensive for the quality.

We love coming here. Kids' schnitzel is ready, beer garden is nice, kids' corner, service is good, food is top-notch.... See 5 stars 😉 So please understand the following as a friendly comment. The salad dressing is absolutely terrible. Honey mustard isn't everyone's cup of tea, but it's totally watery... giant lettuce leaves. The salad is a mess. I don't need it when they're serving gourmet schnitzel, but there are supposed to be people who go to the beer garden for a summer salad.

Very good food! Plenty of free parking right outside. A beautiful beer garden and a lovingly decorated restaurant. The service is very friendly. The food and the Spritz are also delicious. I highly recommend the Parzefall! :)

I can only review the restaurant. We were there today on schnitzel day. We waited 45 minutes for the food. Drinks arrived a little earlier. You had to search for the schnitzel on the plate. It was so thin you could have read the newspaper. The taste was okay. The potato salad was okay too. My companion ordered the schnitzel with fries, which drowned in gravy. My conclusion: We won't be back.

Very good food, large portion and the price is right too

I stayed at this inn 32 years ago. We stayed in a guest room there for several weeks. Back then, the inn was already a very popular destination. We really enjoyed it again today.

Very, very good food and friendly, quick service. We had gourmet schnitzel, stuffed 'Tascherl' (a kind of 'pouch'), and 'Schleimmertascherl' (a kind of 'pouch'), everything was very good. We'd love to come back.

I spontaneously visited the beer garden; fast and friendly service, solid cuisine, and a shady beer garden. Satisfied.

The Munich schnitzel was very, very tasty. My wife's zander was also very good; overall, it's improved even further. The menu is perfect for summer, with plenty of snacks and beer garden-worthy dishes.

The ambiance is rustic but nice. The food was unfortunately subpar for the price. Schnitzel with fried potatoes should have been doable, but unfortunately it wasn't. The schnitzel was okay, but the fried potatoes were a disaster. Unfortunately, the service was rather slow and not particularly attentive. It wasn't that busy. They should also perhaps keep an eye on the restrooms; there's no paper towels and the electric hand fan didn't work. After asking about it, they said they'd take care of it, but a good 30 minutes later, it hadn't happened. Sorry, but at those prices, something like that should be acceptable...

Friendly service and a lovely beer garden. Portions are generous and delicious.

The food was good, the service was good, but be careful, there are obviously problems here. When it comes to payment, they only accept what doesn't cost anyone. In other words, we're happy to accept cash and debit cards because we don't have to pay a single cent. However, we can't accept Visa, Mastercard, or even debit cards because we have to pay someone else 1.5 to 2%. I find this decision extremely stingy.

Wonderful beer garden with great service and delicious food

I can only review the restaurant. One star is for the food and one for the service. I won't be going back. The manager insists on cash payments. She mistakes the debit card for a credit card and refuses it, even with the facts. Cash, she wants cash, and apparently she'll have to pay a fee (and possibly even tax...) Oh well, whatever - the competition is happy and has good food too!

Unfortunately, the knuckles were already sold out on Knuckle Day. However, the alternatives were also very tasty and the portions were generous.

Definitely not for a bus group, I've been there twice already, with over 30 people and as a bus driver you have to pay. You won't get a group like that anymore, at least not from me.... No advertising and then you have to pre-order and wait ages, service not the friendliest, even the guests complained.

The food tasted okay. But there was a skin on the sauce and the dumplings, and the meat was completely dry on the outside, as if it had been forgotten and then microwaved again. The service was absolutely unfriendly and rude.

Great beer garden, the schnitzel was very well prepared and not at all dry. The service was very quick and friendly. Overall, a great visit. There will be many more to come.

We celebrated our son's baptism in the beautiful beer garden! The food is amazing! Amazing portions at incredibly fair prices! The staff was really friendly, too! And yes, the location… The beer garden is perfect, especially when the weather's nice! We'd love to go back!

I was on the long way home and wanted something to eat, the best food I've had in this region! I highly recommend!

A very nice restaurant with a traditional, modern ambiance. The service was very friendly. The portions are very generous and delicious. It's a bit on the high side, but the price is right. A nice menu with a variety of special dishes. We visited for lunch and got a table without any problems. The restaurant also has a very nice, large beer garden (reservations recommended). In the summer, it's open Monday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., with hot food served all day. Access to the restaurant is via a single step, and there's another small threshold in the beer garden.

Gasthof Parzefall Burgweinting Beautiful inn on the main street opposite the BUZ (business center) with parking right in front! Long waits for the food! The service was satisfactory! We ordered the gourmet schnitzel with mushroom cream sauce and the pike-perch fillet in honey and mustard sauce! The schnitzel was good, the fries were rather average, and the mushroom sauce could have been more spicy! The pike-perch fillet had a few bones! Some of the prices are unjustified! But maybe we were just having a bad day! This inn will definitely get another chance!

Unfortunately, we can only give the restaurant two stars, even though the food tasted really good. However, our visit was disappointing in many ways. Before we could even sit down or take off our jackets, the waitress immediately wanted to take our drink order. When we politely pointed out that we needed a moment, we were met with an annoyed eye roll. This rude start immediately dampened the mood. Afterward, we had to wait over an hour for our food. We should have been patient, but when the food finally arrived, it was almost cold. When we politely asked the waitress about it, she simply offered to heat up the food in the microwave – which is truly unacceptable service in a restaurant. To make matters worse, other employees behind the counter talked over us and clearly made fun of our complaint. This is not only unprofessional but also disrespectful. Additionally, the noise level in the restaurant was immense, which made the visit even more unpleasant. Perhaps they shouldn't accept additional reservations if there are already larger groups and the organization is no longer manageable. It's a real shame, because the food was delicious, but the service, the wait time, and the atmosphere were unfortunately anything but convincing. We hope the restaurant takes this criticism into account and works on it, because the potential is definitely there. Unfortunately, we can't recommend it at this time.

There is always parking space either in front of the door or opposite in the BUZ. The food tastes wonderful and the service is really good for a restaurant of this size!!! Outside there is a small children's playground and a beautiful beer garden. Decoration is in a modern country house style and really tastefully beautiful. Unfortunately, service staff are not always fully fluent in German. But try very hard! But really big compliments to the kitchen!!!

Onion roast not medium rare (you can expect it for over €25 if it was ordered that way). The waitress didn't come at first and was unfriendly afterwards. When I was paying, she tried to explain to me that I had a credit card even though I didn't have one and wouldn't let me pay with it. All in all, not a recommendation! It's probably difficult to find professional staff...

Took us almost 2 hours of waiting for the food. Either they forgot our order or just few people working in thr kitchen. We just wish we could have been informed that it’ll take that long.

The food is okay, but the portions are honest. The inn is also honestly very easy to reach.

We were only there for lunch. The menu offers some special dishes. The food was very, very good and also a generous portion. The restaurant is nice, rustically furnished. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. The prices were okay for the quality, but some were a bit high.

Unfortunately the price performance is not appropriate. Crusty roast didn't taste good. Crust was very thin. Sauce tasted like water.

Absolutely fantastic inn. The theme days are great and it tastes exceptionally good. Spontaneously decorating the birthday table with self-organized decorations, garlands and fans is no problem. They really look after you in a friendly and non-intrusive manner during your meal and stay. 👍 This is how good service works. 👍

Nice people. Main course very good. Unfortunately, semolina dumpling soup was lukewarm. It can happen, but the taste is excellent, so no point is deducted. Toilets very clean, including changing table

We have eaten here many times and always been more than satisfied. Today we enjoyed the Valentine's Day menu and I have to say that it was a very harmonious meal for a very long time, a very big compliment to the kitchen!

I went in this beer garden to grab a beer and food. The service was top notch. And the waitress helped me with the menu by translation a lot of things. The food is really good. Although I only had a soup because I was already full but I was shocked to see the quantity. It enough for one person and it good prices. Would probably return in future 🍻🍻🍻

We went to the restaurant for dinner on Saturday. The food was tasty, the portions were decent and the price/performance was fair. The restaurant was very busy, a reservation seems to be an advantage. There is room for improvement when it comes to service: the young man behind the counter seemed unmotivated (brought drinks to our table right at the counter, said nothing and simply gave the drink to the wrong person), various service staff asked several guests in a somewhat uncoordinated manner/several times you have made a reservation and plates are cleared away at your own table and those next to you, even though someone at the same table is still eating.

Drei verschiedene Gerichte und dreimal sowohl geschmacklich als auch qualitativ hervorragend. Bei der Größe der Gerichte braucht auch niemand hungrig nach Hause gehen. Die Bedienungen sind schnell, freundlich und aufmerksam. Der Einrichtungsstil passt super zu einer traditionellen Gastwirtschaft. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne auch zu Familienleben. Familie Hemauer

We played at a wedding on August 21st, 2021 with the two bands BAVARIAN CONNECTION and TWO & A HALF BEER at the Gasthof Parzefall and were very impressed with the inn! The staff is incredibly friendly and professional and the food is really recommended! A beautiful beer garden, a winter garden that can be opened all around and a cozy hall offer a great ambience for smaller weddings or other celebrations. The bride kidnapping took place on the 1st floor. We'd love to come back!!

I always enjoy coming here. Both service and prices are simply 100% correct. The inn is very quaint and cozy, and can also be easily reached by public transport via the bus stop. The rooms overlook the large courtyard and are clean, the staff is really nice. For celebrations there is a beautiful winter garden with access to the beer garden. A very wide selection is served for breakfast, including a packed lunch upon request. There's really a lot of passion behind it and the guests honor it by coming in large numbers, so there's often a lot going on. Highly recommended

The restaurant was recommended to us by an employee of a nearby hotel. We visited there on 3 days and were warmly welcomed and served in a friendly manner each time. The food was not only tasty but also more than sufficient (great portions). The drinks were also great. Thanks again to the hotel staff for the very good tip to visit the Parzefall restaurant.

The restaurant impresses with its beautiful garden and the charming historical character, which becomes clear as soon as you enter. Out of curiosity, I looked at the negative reviews, most of which relate to long waiting times - some of which are understandable. As a long-time guest, I can confirm that I have also been annoyed from time to time about the duration or accessibility. Nevertheless, this in no way detracts from the quality of the food - here you can get the best schnitzel in all of Regensburg! A big compliment to the boss and the kitchen team, who have perfected the potato salad and the schnitzels in their own way. Keep it up!

Very good food, staff super nice TOP always happy

I couldn't decide what to order for dinner. Such nice dishes in the menu. It was the currywurst with fries. A very good choice. But the other dishes my colleagues and those at the neighboring tables also looked very good.

The food was almost like home cooking, that would have worked. The waitresses were pretty much asleep. Once you've ordered something, you can only get your drink about 15 minutes or sometimes 30 minutes later because we're always on the move in a wheelchair Once we got in there were already three steps in the inn, one step in each room, we didn't look at the rooms, we weren't there overnight, the sanitary facilities were okay but nothing for a wheelchair user, not even a child's wheelchair could get in there because of the doors The toilet is very narrow. I had ordered Cola Weissbier, which is not available. They didn't have any Cola beer either. I had to order a 0.3 Cola and order a 0.5 Weissbier then mix it myself! If you want to quickly go around the corner to the beer garden, it's very nice there, but you still have to work a lot on the service and the food, but in the evening you can definitely recommend going out for a beer
