Wirtshaus „Zum Sorgenfrei“ in Regensburg

Also richtig klasse war das nicht, in Schulnoten eher so 4-. Ich wollte die Bärlauchkässpätzle mit einem kleinen Salat haben, Bärlauch war aber aus. Na, kein Problem, dann eben normale Kässpätzle. Bekommen habe ich dann eine sehr große, sehr sättigende und vollkommen geschmacksneutrale Portion Spätzle, denen gefühlt ein ganzer Becher Schmand untergerührt war, Käse war war da jedenfalls nicht dabei. Echt nichts besonderes, ziemlich lieblos, ohne jeden Pfiff, muss ich wirklich nicht häufiger haben. Angrechnet wurden dann die Bärlauchspätzle, macht mit einem kleinen Salat und einem Bier zusammen gut 25 Euro - und die waren es (für mich) trotz der netten jungen Bedienung und einem hübschen Ambiente nicht wert, sorry.

Wurde leider trotz der vielen guten Rezensionen enttäuscht. Der Zwiebelrostbraten war von Flachsen durchzogen, durchgebraten und mehr oder weniger ungewürzt ... Der Service war nett, die Lokalität und das Ambiente machen einen guten Eindruck. Vielleicht hatte ich auch einfach nur Pech.

Zum Vatertag hier. Schönes traditionelles Lokal an der Donau das offen für die heutige Zeit ist. Personal sehr freundlich. Sehr gute Küche, gut abgeschmeckt und Produkte der Saison. Gerichte mit Getränke, vor- und Nachspeise für 3 Personen

Eine ganz nette alte Wirtschaft mit super freundlichem Personal, Preis/Leistung ist gut. Toller kleiner Biergarten. Parkmöglichkeiten sind sehr schlecht, am besten zu Fuss hingehen oder mit dem Fahrrad.

Service und Ambiente super - der Rest naja.. meine Freundin aß Rösti - ne gute 6|10 und ich Forelle das war ne gute 2|10 maximal - der Fisch, wie man sieht: innen noch roh und blutig... Ich geb trotzdem 2 Sterne weil der junge Mann doch Recht bemüht war

Freundliches Personal, dem es etwas an Aufmerksamkeit beim abräumen gefehlt hat. Wir sind auch länger vor leeren Gläsern gegessen und mussten die Ober erst einmal ansprechen, um neu bestellen zu können. Schade! Die Speisen waren soweit in Ordnung und wie erwartet, aber nichts Besonderes. Leider waren die Kartoffeln zur Forelle Müllerin unserer Ansicht nach schon etwas älter und nur entsprechend aufgewärmt. Schöne Aussicht draußen auf die Stadt, auf den Dom und die Donau. Unser Urteil: Wie sagt man so schön: hier ist noch gut Luft nach oben!

Karaoke (jeden 3. Freitag im Monat), wie es sein sollte. Zu zweit einen Abend im „Zum Sorgenfrei" verbracht – und wirklich sorgenfrei war es. Atmosphäre und Einrichtung stimmig, Soundanlage top, das Repertoire überraschend vielseitig. Getränke und Speisen haben ebenfalls gepasst, zu einem fairen Preis. Was mich besonders überzeugt hat: Der Moderator hat souverän für eine gerechte Reihenfolge gesorgt, ohne sich selbst in den Vordergrund zu drängen – das ist leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit. In manchen Bars übernehmen Abend für Abend die Halb-Promis hinter dem Mikrofon das Ruder, oder nach einer Stunde hat die lauteste Gruppe den ganzen Abend für sich. Hier war das Publikum angenehm gemischt und der Ton blieb die ganze Zeit entspannt. Wer Karaoke mag und dabei in Ruhe genießen will, ist hier genau richtig.

Eine schöne Wirtschaft mit sehr freundlichen Personal. Leckeres Essen rundet das ganze ab. Jederzeit gerne wieder 👍

Typisch bayrisches Wirtshaus, gute Küche, freundlicher Service, alle Essen kamen gleichzeitig und ohne lange Wartezeit.

Das war definitiv das erste und letzte Mal, dass ich dort gegessen habe. Wir hatten für fünf Personen reserviert. Das Essen war gut, aber der Service war unterirdisch. Die Dame mittleren Alters, die uns auf der Terrasse bediente, ließ sich zwischen den einzelnen Tischbesuchen ewig Zeit (über 20 Minuten), räumte unser Besteck ab und gab es einem anderen Tisch. Dann brachte sie das Essen, und wir mussten ewig auf Besteck warten, bis wir endlich essen konnten. Und das Schlimmste: Als wir bezahlen wollten, meinte sie, wir würden ihr unnötig Arbeit machen, weil jeder sein Essen selbst bezahlen wollte.

Wir haben einen Kurztrip nach Regensburg gemacht und nach einem langen Tag voller Spaziergänge beschlossen wir, hier zu Abend zu essen. Es ist ein traditionelles bayerisches Restaurant mit einigen interessanten Gerichten auf der Speisekarte. Insgesamt nicht schlecht. Der Service war in Ordnung, unsere Bestellung wurde recht schnell aufgenommen. Das Steak war gut, das Schnitzel auch, wobei mein Fleisch etwas zäh war. Etwas extra Soße dazu hätte nicht geschadet. Die Desserts waren lecker. Es kann teuer werden, wenn man nicht aufpasst. Nicht schlecht.

Sehr schönes traditionelles Wirtshaus, mit reichlich Entertainment, richtig richtig gutem Service, Essen und dazu ist das Essen auch fix fertig :) Dazu noch die fairen Preise, so müsste jedes Wirtshaus in Deutschland laufen!

Das Essen war köstlich, die Würstchen hervorragend und der Senf das i-Tüpfelchen. Der Service war in Ordnung. Die Preise waren etwas hoch. Bei schönem Wetter empfiehlt es sich, im Restaurant an einem der Tische zu essen.

Das Ambiente ist sehr schön. Das Essen sah gut aus, es ging schnell, aber es fehlte durchweg an Gewürzen.

Ich habe im Restaurant Sorgenfrei in Regensburg gegessen und war begeistert. Der Zwiebelrostbraten mit Bratkartoffeln war ein echtes Highlight – das Fleisch wunderbar zart und auf den Punkt gebraten, dazu eine kräftige, leckere Soße und herrlich knusprige Bratkartoffeln. Man schmeckt die Liebe zum Handwerk und die hochwertigen Zutaten. Das gemütliche Ambiente und der aufmerksame Service runden den Besuch perfekt ab. Ein Wirtshaus, wie man es sich wünscht – absolute Empfehlung, ich komme gerne wieder!

Wir waren zum Abendessen im Wirtshaus "Zum Sorgenfrei" in Regensburg und sehr begeistert. Als Vorspeise wählten wir das bayrische Vitello vom heimischen Wild mit Räucherforellensoße, gefolgt vom Böfflamott, das in Glühwein geschmort und mit Spätzle sowie Rotkohl serviert wurde – beide Gerichte waren geschmacklich durchweg top und hervorragend zubereitet. Zum Dessert rundete ein fluffiger Kaiserschmarrn das Menü perfekt ab. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam, das Ambiente gediegen und gemütlich. Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist absolut angemessen. Ein rundum gelungener Abend, den wir gerne weiterempfehlen.

Über das Bier brauche ich gar nicht erst zu reden; es war hervorragend, daran gab es keinen Zweifel! Wir bestellten Kalb- und Schweinefleisch – ein wahrer Gaumenschmaus! Köstlich, einfach köstlich! Der Service war überragend! Alles Gute und viel Erfolg!

Wirtshaus mit guter regionaler Küche Die Speisekarte bietet zu den Klassikern schöne moderne Variationen wie das bayrische vitello welches ehe lecker war. Die Auswahl an Gerichten ist überschaubar und lässt keine Wünsche offen. Das Essen hat geschmeckt und war optisch schön angerichtet. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Das Ambiente ist urig und passt zum Gesamtkonzept. Uns hat es hier sehr gut gefallen. Preisleistung ist angemessen. Eine gute Adresse die wir empfehlen können.

Reservieren Sie am besten vorab einen Tisch, dann vermeiden Sie langes Warten. Dieses Restaurant serviert mit das beste vegane/vegetarische Essen, das ich je gegessen habe. Zur Vorspeise gab es Rote-Bete-Capriccio, mein Freund ist Veganer und hat Rote-Bete-Knödel bestellt, und ich habe traditionelle Käsespätzle als Hauptgericht gewählt. Jedes Gericht war fantastisch und superfrisch zubereitet. Es gab sogar ein veganes Dessert. Einen Stern extra für den freundlichen und schnellen Service. Das angenehme Ambiente trägt zum Wohlfühlambiente bei. Es gibt auch Sitzplätze im Freien, ideal für den Sommer. Ein Besuch in Regensburg ist absolut empfehlenswert.

Wir haben telefonisch zwei Stunden vorher an einem Freitag reserviert. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Die Getränke und Speisen waren recht schnell am Tisch. Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und die Preisleistung sehr gut. Das Restaurant ist modern aber traditionell eingerichtet, sehr charmant.

Meine Frau hat Schwarzwurzelcremesuppe, Buchweizenpflanzerl mit Salat und ich Schweinemedaillons mit Rosmarinkartoffeln und Prinzessbohnen bestellt. Die Suppe hatte einen Hauch von Schwarzwurzelgeschmack mit zuviel Gewürzen, von Schwarzwurzeln war nichts zu sehen. Die Pfanzerln waren sehr knusprig, hart und zulange gebraten. Die Schweinemedaillons waren sehr sehnig und teilweise nicht genießbar. Der Salat schmeckte nur nach Essig und war total sauer. Alles in allem war das Essen eine große Enttäuschung. Das einzig positive war das Ambiente.

Ich bin leider so enttäuscht, dass ich eine Bewertung schreiben muss. In Erwartung guter bayerischer Küche und des zufrieden-warm-vollen Gefühls, dass man normalerweise beim Verlassen solcher Lokalitäten hat, kam ich hierher. Leider ging ich trotz zweier Gerichte und einer 30€-Rechnung hungrig und enttäuscht. Man merkt den engagierten Koch, doch leider lassen die Gerichte das, was bayerische Kulinarik auszeichnet vermissen: Wärme, Vollmundigkeit und Tiefe. Stattdessen wird Sterneküche angestrebt doch leider verfehlt. Wenn ich Rote-Beete-Serviettenknödel bestelle, erwarte ich nicht nur rote Farbe sondern auch den typisch erdigen Geschmack. Die Pilze in der Brühe waren leider nicht mehr erkennbar - weder an Konsistenz, noch Geschmack. Außerdem zu wenige um sich "Schwammerlbrühe" nennen zu dürfen. In dieser verkochten Version war der frisch geriebene scharfe Rettich dazu komplett fehl am Platz. Dieses Gericht braucht Arbeit, dann könnte es sehr gut werden. Für einen Hauptgang überdies viel zu wenig auf dem Teller. Der darauffolgende Kaiserschmarrn war noch enttäuschender. "Trocken" ist alles, was mir dazu einfällt. Zwar diesmal eine gute Portionsgröße aber viel zu wenig Apfelmus. Rosinen Standard aus der Tüte, weder eingelegt noch erwärmt. Konsistenz fluffig, aber keine Röstung oder Karamellisierung erkennbar. Anrichte ganz nett mit den Toppings separat gereicht aber unnötig. Das einzig positive war die Kellnerin - ich glaube sie hieß Pauline. Sehr Aufmerksam, schnell und höflich!

Wir haben direkt neben der wenig befahren Straße im kleinen Biergarten gesessen. Das Essen war sehr gut. Die Bedienung flott und freundlich. Das Wirtshaus hat eine urige und gemütliche Inneneinrichtung. Wie in den 30er Jahren. Es gibt etwas 200 m abseits kostenlose Parkplätze, die sehr begehrt sind. Am besten man parkt auf dem Dultplatz und läuft 500 m bis hier her. Wir kommen wieder.

Auf geschäftlicher Durchreise hier einen kurzen Stopp gemacht um uns selbst von den Bewertungen zu überzeugen. Ein sehr nettes Ambiente, typisches Wirtshaus. Zum Essen gab es Hähnchenbrust „Jäger Art“ mit Schwämmerlsoße und hausgemachten Eierspätzle und Böfflamott vom niederbayrischen Rind in Wurzelgemüse und Rotwein geschmort mit Knödel und einen Beilagensalat dazu. Getränke: Alkoholfreies Weizen und eine kleine Apfelschorle. Die hausgemachten Eierspätzle haben mich total überzeugt & waren ausgesprochen lecker. Die Hähnchenbrust war auch vorzüglich in der hellen Soße mit den Schwämmerle. Zum Nachtisch gab es den Kaiserschmarn mit Apfelmus. Der Kaiserschmarn war fluffig und mit Puderzucker welcher auch richtig gut geschmeckt hat.

Das Wirtshaus "Zum Sorgenfrei" am Oberen Wöhrd ist quasi mein zweites Wohnzimmer, da ich um die Ecke gleich wohne und irgendwie fast täglich dort zu Gast bin. Daher kann ich es jedem nur uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Und das liegt vor allem daran, dass das "Gesamtpaket" einfach stimmt. In erster Linie ist selbstverständlich das Essen dort richtig gut, immer frisch zubereitet und mit viel Abwechslung, da sich erstens die Speisekarte immer wieder ändert und es zweitens auch immer tolle Tagesangebote gibt. Nicht zu vergessen ist auch, dass das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis hier wirklich stimmt. Und besonders zu erwähnen ist auch die wunderbare Atmosphäre im Wirtshaus. Der Wirt ist sehr lieb und auch seine Mitarbeiterinnen und Mitarbeiter sind ausnahmslos freundlich und zuvorkommend. Also worauf wartet Ihr noch? Ab zum Sorgenfrei!

The Sorgenfrei in Regensburg unfortunately disappointed me. The cheese spaetzle was barely seasoned and rather mushy, and the chicken with mushrooms and spaetzle seemed unloving and tasteless. We didn't finish the mushrooms because they simply had no real flavor. The service, while quick, seemed superficial and unwelcoming. Overall, I felt like I was being brushed off as a guest. The atmosphere was very reminiscent of a tourist rip-off. It's a shame, because the cozy ambiance could offer more. I probably wouldn't visit the Sorgenfrei again for good food and genuine hospitality.

We ate at this restaurant following the good reviews. We sat in the courtyard, and the service was okay. Unfortunately, the value for money for the dishes was completely out of proportion. Far too overpriced for what was offered, and the quality was poor. My chicken with mushroom sauce was extremely tough and frozen?! ​​The egg noodles were completely watery and had no flavor. Disappointing! We definitely wouldn't visit this restaurant again. I can't understand the good reviews.

We came here on a Friday without a reservation and enjoyed a nice 'Tiach' for two in the front beer garden. We felt very comfortable with great service (very attentive), delicious food, and drinks and would happily recommend this place. By the way, I took the photo from my seat.

I don't understand the many good reviews here. The quality and taste of the food was mediocre at best. I honestly wonder if they've ever tried their "homemade" vegan mushroom patties themselves. The cheese spaetzle lacked flavor, and the fried onions tasted old and dry. The most outrageous thing, however, was that the children, who each ordered their own schnitzel with fries, were served not a child's portion, but an adult portion, which they couldn't even begin to finish. And the much-praised schnitzels, which we then tried (there were plenty left over, haha), didn't pleasantly surprise us either. Everything's just okay...

If you really want to eat an outstanding schnitzel in Regensburg, you can't miss this place. Golden brown on the outside, crispy, and perfectly cooked – juicy on the inside, tender, and with just the right hint of butter. Served with a potato salad that truly deserves its name: homemade, slightly sour, with a lovely creamy texture – simply fantastic. I've eaten many schnitzels in my life – in Vienna, Munich, and Berlin – but what's served here is top-notch. No greasy film, no tough breading, no convenience junk – they're still cooking real food here. The ambiance is cozy, the service friendly and attentive without seeming forced. You can tell the heart and soul of the food here. Conclusion: For me, the best schnitzel in town – highly recommended. I'll be back. And soon.

The food at Tobi's is always delicious, and everyone is super friendly. It's a really nice place. And the two small beer gardens in the front and back are great and relatively intimate, perfect for relaxed conversation over food.

To be honest, we weren't given a warm welcome, even though it wasn't busy yet. The service was either new or simply too slow. Even though the beer garden wasn't even half full, it was good. There was very little food on the menu. We then ordered our food, and the other people got completely different dishes than what the waiter brought us. Either they all had a daily special, or I don't know. The taste was okay, but not a highlight. I think my goulash with spaetzle and side salad cost a little over €26. It was okay, but I honestly don't know if I'd come back. Maybe just to convince myself again if it could be even better.

The service was very friendly and polite, and the view of the Danube was beautiful. We had made a reservation by phone and were unfortunately not informed that the menu was much smaller due to a technical problem in the kitchen. We came specifically for the cheese spaetzle, which unfortunately wasn't available. There were few vegetarian/vegan options. We had mushroom patties and potato salad, but unfortunately, the patties were burnt on both sides—sorry, you can't serve that. The potato salad was lightly seasoned. The staff apologized, but no concessions were offered. What a shame!

We were there in a group of nine people. We made a reservation over the phone that morning—no problems. The food and service were impeccable. The staff there were very friendly. We'd be happy to go back. Parking can be a bit tricky there, but we were lucky. Frieda, the resident dachshund, was also nice. 😁

A truly beautiful inn on the left bank of the Danube. It's definitely worth stopping by. Whether it's the food or the service, you'll immediately feel welcome. The building itself, with its cozy beer garden, is worth seeing. Bavarian inn culture is truly alive here.

We often go to Sorgenfrei and have always been very satisfied. The food is good, the waiters are friendly, and the owner is equally nice. We'd be happy to return.

A cozy yet modern ambiance. A lively atmosphere, and outdoor seating on the terrace, right on the Danube with views of the Old Town and the cathedral. Great, imaginative dishes of very good quality. Small, rustic inn, fitting for Regensburg. Rustically furnished, I personally found it a bit too dark. Lighter colors would harmonize better. Our group consisted of 13 people and we were allowed to occupy our tables despite having made a late reservation. Our service was very quick, friendly and not at a loss for answers, which was very helpful to us. The food was very tasty and to the point. The portions were definitely sufficient. Would love to come back. Simply great :-), keep it up.

During my visit to Ulm, I stopped at this restaurant for dinner. Very friendly service and a nice table. I had the Melanie schnitzel. It was tasty, but could have been a bit hotter. Otherwise, the quality was good.

A really rustic inn with a courtyard garden, guest room, adjoining room and a beer garden with a view of the cathedral. Excellent cuisine with always new offers. Meat dishes always freshly prepared. Roast pork every Sunday. Game from our own hunt. And always great events with special menus. Ideal for weddings, birthdays, company parties. Adjoining room for private groups.

The ambience and service is great! But when it comes to food, there is a lot of room for improvement. All side dishes (fries, spaetzle, red cabbage) simply warmed up from the canned food. When it comes to meat, I'm not sure whether you can't buy it ready-made. Would love to have a drink again. To eat? No thanks.

Nice quaint inn. The service is really on point. I was only there for the karaoke evening and unfortunately I can't say anything about the food yet. But I will definitely stop by for dinner on my next visit to Regensburg. Very nice restaurant, decorated for the holidays. Unfortunately, that was it for the positives of this evening. The Wiener Schnitzel, fried potatoes and fries were all too salty. The schnitzel itself has a totally limp breading. The taste is absolutely not appropriate for the price. Unfortunately, this impression was confirmed by everyone present: the food was carelessly prepared and the taste was simply unsatisfactory. The service was also rather annoyed, sometimes with outrageous comments on our requests (e.g. pay separately). Overall not good service. The Sorgenfrei used to be a good address, but unfortunately those days seem to be over.

A beautiful, well-kept inn. Everything clean, well-kept and comfortable. The food, a currywurst, was quite good. The price, EUR 13.90, was more hearty than the sausage can be. The drinks are also at the higher end of what can be considered decent. Unfortunately, after a nice service, a waiter brought the kill. I paid my bill knowing exactly what I drank. The waiter realized afterwards that he was obviously missing a dark wheat and firmly and stiffly claimed that I had drunk it. I vehemently denied it, but ultimately paid it with gritted teeth because I didn't want to leave any money unpaid and wouldn't let anyone say anything about it. I shared that too. The waiter still thought he had to add more and insisted emphatically and repeatedly that I had drunk the beer. He didn't serve me at all for 2/3 of the stay, then I paid EUR 37 for a currywurst and 4 beers (including a tip of about 10%) and another EUR 5 for a beer that I didn't drink at all (I only had light ones Wheat and finally a dark beer). There was still an argument. Sorry, but guests can hardly be treated more poorly or unprofessionally. You won't see me there any time soon and unfortunately I can no longer recommend the place. Good but overpriced food. Drink prices at the highest end of the local prices and then bad staff who can't deal with such situations (the landlord sat silently at the next table). Unfortunately just “shamed”!

Wieder mal beim Sorgenfrei und ein sehr gutes Essen mit Wein und Starkbier genossen Immer wieder wechselnde Gerichte und Speisekarten, Gänsebrust und Schweinskaxe sowie andere besondere Angebote auch auf Vorbestellung. Chef, Personal, Küche und Wirtshaushund (Rauhhaardackel Frieda) sind eine perfekte Kombination

Classic inn with heart and soul. I've eaten here several times over the past few years and today it was very good again. Consistently good quality and delicious food. Thanks for Phillip for the professional service. Gladly again!

Rarely have I eaten such bad food. The noodles were a total disaster!! No one could force down this presumption, so the plates were left almost full. When the unfriendly lady asked if the food didn't taste good and we honestly said no, actually not, the only reaction was: "I eat that every day" (my condolences). The waiter was nice and the restaurant itself was beautiful. Been there twice to give it another chance, never again.

We were here for dinner. The schnitzel was good and the service too. We'd love to come back.

Very good cuisine, nice atmosphere, good service…. We also offer small events… we’ll be back
