Opening times from 11:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. are advertised online. We drove from a little further away and were there at 3 p.m. The restaurant was “heat-free” from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. It's a shame that there is no information online and we have to wait so long. There were 2 people for the service. A slightly older man and a young woman. The gentleman was very taciturn and communicated with his entire body language that he wasn't in the mood. His way of dealing with guests was also limited to the bare essentials. The young woman was friendly and included all the guests at the table. Unfortunately, one of four meals was forgotten and arrived 15 minutes late. The schnitzel was good and had a decent portion. On the one hand, the presentation and the taste of the fries had potential in the dish. A few greens are enough for the pres. and the plate immediately looks like something. Only the schnitzel and fries were simply loveless. The fries were probably the worst I've ever eaten in a restaurant. In terms of taste, it was a 1 out of 5. These were simple fries without seasoning from the wholesale market. Finally, I would like to say something about the prices. The prices for the food were okay. I think it's cheeky to charge €4.60 for a 0.4 ColaMix. Even if restaurants increase their sales with drinks, I find €11.50 per liter outrageous. Conclusion: Food satisfactory, service sufficient: We would not recommend it. *********************** Thanks for responding to the feedback given. If they perceive it as a nightmare, I can only feel sorry for them. Rather, they should be grateful to be made aware of potential for improvement. However, it is clear from their entire response that they feel personally attacked. When you go to their website, you don't notice the changed opening times. Then we go to the menu and there are the regular opening times. But it was our mistake not to have studied all social media channels beforehand. After all, we came back. It was just a hint. We were the second guests in the beer garden and it had reopened 5 minutes earlier. So there was nothing going on yet. I didn't expect any small talk either. Just a friendly demeanor, a “warm welcome, nice that you are here”. I think it's not expecting too much. This is what they should expect as standard from their team. I didn't criticize the fact that the forgotten meal took another time. Something like that can happen and I told the nice young lady about it straight away. I didn't think it was bad either, but it was part of my visit to them. If they like their own fries, then so be it and that's okay too. I just gave my feedback. Your staff will certainly not be involved in calculating the prices or what they should have done with the information. So the feedback here to the owner is certainly appropriate. Conclusion on dealing with criticism. Instead of being grateful that they can do better in the future, they just justify their mistakes instead of just accepting it. The second power was mentioned positively, the taste of the schnitzel was mentioned positively, the price of the food was felt to be okay and was not criticized in any way. I can't see where night pedaling takes place here. You just notice that they don't have much experience dealing with guests and feel personally attacked when criticized. This was not the intention of my feedback. Just the wish/hint that there are still things they can do better.

Brilliant! A quaint, cozy Bavarian restaurant with a small beer garden with a completely gluten- and lactose-free menu. There are no compromises in terms of quality or taste. Super friendly service and reasonable prices. Absolutely recommended, even for people without dietary restrictions.

It was once again very tasty 🎁. Thank you for that! I have never eaten Bavarian and gluten-free food so well anywhere before. Although gluten intolerance is not an issue for me and gluten-free food is often difficult for me to digest, I tolerate this cuisine very well. We go to the Alte Kuchl every now and then because people in the family who suffer from celiac disease can eat here wonderfully, with enjoyment and safely. Yes, it costs a lot, but it's worth every cent. It's very cozy inside & the small beer garden is also nice 🎁. Very centrally located, about 5 minutes walk from the main train station! Dear Kuchl team ❤️ many thanks & big praise to the cook. It's not easy to conjure up gluten-free Bavarian dishes in Bavaria. I hope you stay with us. Oh yes, you have to have a little time in this fast world & that's really good!

We discovered the inn today by chance and I have to say that it is definitely worth a visit. The beer garden is lovingly designed with small details and is really cozy. Thanks to the bad weather, we had to move inside, but it was just as cozy and rustic there as outside. The food was delicious and you can tell that there is a lot of passion and attention to detail here. All 10 people enjoyed it really well. I can't really understand the price discussion that often takes place here, because in my opinion these are normal prices for Regensburg compared to the other inns. With the small difference that everything in the kuchl is fresh and regional (which can often be questioned in the other inns). The service was quick and friendly. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Regensburg.

Super celiac-friendly restaurant! I was in heaven being able to choose from an entirely gluten-free menu! I plan to come back and try other menu items. The children enjoyed delicious kids-friendly dishes. Charming little beer garden!

It is a gluten and lactose-free Bavarian restaurant with no beer garden. Everything is very personally prepared. The landlady is as attentive as you could wish for. Very large portion. And especially a gift for allergy sufferers.

The small restaurant is hidden in a small backyard on the ground floor of a multi-story, rustic house. The beer garden invites you to linger in sunny weather and there are additional tables inside. The toilet is in the basement and can be reached on foot via the stairs. I've been going there regularly for a few months now and either hang out in the beer garden or take food to go. If you choose the latter, you will receive your food in bamboo boxes, which can also be used in the microwave. Once you order, the food is usually ready within 20-30 minutes and is ready to be devoured. Whether on site or to take away, the food is always tasty. My personal recommendation is the cordon bleu with either potato wedges or another side dish. The most important thing is: with enough lead time and consultation, the owner of this restaurant can accommodate almost any request. She is not only a person with a heart, but also tries very hard to make the food here suitable for everyone with allergies. So far there hasn't been a special request that I haven't had implemented. There are several cards in the restaurant itself - one in German, one in English and other allergy cards. In addition, the boss's extensive knowledge is reflected in the fact that there is also a menu with unusual allergy problems - this means that, for example, ingredients containing histamine are listed on the special menu. The drinks also contain a lot of gluten-free ingredients, but it is important to note that people with severe allergies should examine the beers more closely - the PPM limits are <20 and <10 ppm, but could lead to allergy reactions or discomfort. The boss is also aware of this and has made it her mission to train her employees as well. Admittedly, I asked a few more specific questions that only someone with in-depth knowledge could answer - and no question was answered "wrong." The team in this restaurant is well trained and, if necessary, the boss comes out of the kitchen without further ado and takes care of a more specific question herself. As a gluten allergy sufferer with co-allergies, I can only recommend this restaurant because you can simply eat wonderful food in a great atmosphere here can take and the boss's great manner is reflected in the food.

Friendly atmosphere, friendly and very dedicated service. Everything came quickly too. Food was delicious, selection varied. Great children's menu that goes far beyond schnitzel with fries and even offers different sizes. Nice little children's corner to play in. The only downer is the supposed rule that at the end the children are allowed to take as many candies from the jar as they can hold “no matter what mom says.” Ha. Ha. Ha. Not my sense of humor as long as no one from the service puts my children to bed afterwards. Maybe we'll come back sooner without the children.

Very cute little inn. All dishes were very tasty, especially the Tafelspitz. The landlady is also very friendly and the atmosphere is very homely. We had a great evening there!

We were in the Alte Kuchl on a Thursday evening. I really liked the concept, you can feel that there is passion in everything. The food was great. In Franconia, like grandma, they say super tasty dishes. Sweet beer garden. The service was excellent, friendly, courteous and attentive.

I personally didn't like the cheese spaetzle. Apple juice was very good! Not wheelchair friendly!

And what's particularly great is that you can now have the delicious food delivered to your home. 🫶 and that has always worked great so far! I can only warmly recommend everything I've eaten there so far. Always a culinary delight!

The paradise for those suffering from celiac disease!! Beautiful outdoor area, delicious food, extremely friendly service! The only problem: with these portions you can't make any of these tempting desserts... next time we might share a main course to still have room for chocolate mousse, pancakes or chocolate cake ;)! We will definitely and happily come back!!

A really nice Bavarian pub with a slightly different alternative flair. Good, down-to-earth dishes that are carefully prepared using regional ingredients. It's not cheap, but it's worth the effort!

Maybe the best gluten free lactose free restaurant that I have ever visited. And the bonus: real original Bavarian excellent food, all self-made without convenience products. And the Schoko mousse is a highlight! The service, atmosphere and friendliness were additional great highlights. Looking forward to our next visit in Regensburg and at the restaurant.

A small homely restaurant. I highly recommend it. The owner is also super nice and always up for a joke. The food is fresh and homemade. I tolerated everything and was able to look forward to home cooking, despite being lactose intolerance. Addendum: We ate there again for our 2 year old and Simone said she would think of something for us. We were really happy about it, it was just cute. You are always greeted very friendly there and the waiter is always very accommodating. The food was again very tasty and the chocolate mousse was a dream. We will definitely eat there more often.

Wir waren gestern Abend sehr lecker essen! Mein kleiner Sohn und ich haben Zöliakie, deshalb ist ein Traum einfach alles aus der Karte bestellen zu können! Vom Preis her absolut Ok und die Chefin sehr nett! Absolute Empfehlung 👍👍👍

Auf der Suche nach gluten- und laktosefreiem Essen sind wir auf dieses Lokal (Klein, aber fein und total heimelig) gestoßen. Ich bin schon glücklich hier hingekommen, wunschlos glücklich für diesen Tag hat mich dann das Cordon Bleu gemacht :-))) Auch das Essen der anderen war lt. Aussage mega lecker, die Wirtin und ihr Team waren super nett und freundlich, wir hatten richtig Spaß! Ich freue mich schon auf das nächste Mal...

Wenn man rein kommt gibt es einem wirklich Wohnzimmer feeling. Die atmosphere ist angenehm und der Service ist sehr nett. Essen und Trinken ist top! Die Cola schmeckt wirklich mega und die Spätzle sind auf den Punkt, wenn auch nicht mehr. Das Gluten freie Essen ist super, das beste das ich je gegessen habe. Ich komme wieder!!

Es war unser Glückstag, bei schlechtem Wetter und dann noch einen Platz bekommen unreserviert. Das Personal sowohl Chefin sehr freundlich super nette Gespräche und Austausch gehabt. Das Essen was sehr lecker, frisch und die Portionen waren groß und ausreichend. Preisleistung für die Portionen sind gerecht. Rundum fanden wir das Ambiente schnuckelig und gemütlich wir kommen gern wieder. Es ist sehr zu empfehlen. Wir haben wieder erneut reserviert. Und werden weiter empfehlen.

Das Schnitzel war leider nicht gut. Der Service war allerdings höflich.

Der letzte Besuch ist schon etwas länger her, fast ein Jahr. Müssen bald Mal wieder kommen. Aber es hat immer alles gepasst (waren schon öfter da). Was in Erinnerung blieb, war auf jeden Fall die Freundlichkeit, das Bier. Auch das Essen war immer lecker. Die Einrichtung ist eh der Hit und der Biergarten gemütlich. Parken kann man gleich im Parkhaus, das dürften höchstens 5 Minuten Fußweg sein. In Regensburg eh super nah.

Ambiente wirklich sehr schön. Bedienung freundlich. Aber leider war weder Suppe noch das Schnitzel gewürzt. Der Kartoffelsalat war zu sauer da zuviel Essig drin war. Entweder zu fad oder zuviel gewürzt. Waren leider etwas enttäuscht 😞.

Für ein Jägerschnitzel das 18,70€ kostet, hätte ich mir mehr erwartet. Die Schwammerl in der Soße konnte man an einer Hand abzählen. Der Salat war auch nur klein. Mein 0,4 Spezi für 4,60€ hatte auch einen komischen Geschmack. Die Bedienung war aufmerksam und flott.

Uriges Wirtshaus mit einem gemütlichen Biergarten - es gibt sogar einen Bücherschrank - insgesamt absolutes Wohlfühlambiente. Die Gerichte aus regionalen Produkten zeugen von Kreativität und schmecken super lecker. Überrascht hat mich tatsächlich das Kohlrabi-Sellerie-Schnitzel, dazu hatte ich köstlichen Erdäpfel-Gurken-Salat. Die Bedienung ist überaus freundlich und äußerst zuvorkommend, die Wirtin selbst ein Original. Es ist zu spüren, dass ihr und ihrem Team das Wohl der Gäste am Herzen liegt. Ein Lokal geführt mit viel Liebe zum Detail und Herzenswärme. Absolut empfehlenswert, wichtig: vorher reservieren.

Wir waren zu dritt im gemütlichen, mit Liebe hergerichteten Biergarten. Wurden dort sehr herzlich empfangen und bedient. Das Essen, Jägerschnitzel und Käsespatzen, schmeckte hervorragend. Alles ist saisonal und regional, gluten- und laktosefrei. Von daher auch die Preise angemessen. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Wir haben das Lokal Ende Juli zum späten Mittagessen mit 5 Personen aufgesucht. Es war nicht viel los um diese Uhrzeit und wir bekamen einen Tisch im Schatten. Die Wirtin war sehr bemüht um uns, plauderte auch aus dem Nähkästchen bei Nachfrage, wie sie was zubereite. Essen war schnell serviert, gute Portionsgrösse, sehr lecker und zu vernünftigen Preisen. Das Innenlokal scheint etwas in die Tage gekommen zu sein, ist aber sehr liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir werden bei unserem nächsten Besuch in Regensburg wieder dort essen gehen, da es besonders den Familienmitgliedern mit Zöliakie sehr gut geschmeckt hat und keinerlei Beschwerden danach aufgetreten sind. Daunen hoch an die Wirtin und ihr persönliches Engagement !!

Perfekt ruhig versteckt in zweiter Reihe zur Hauptmeile. Gute Speisen und aufmerksames Personal. Es gibt sogar an bestimmten Tagen Senioren und Rentner Rabatt.

Wir waren alle sehr begeistert vom tollen Service und dem super leckeren glutenfreien Essen. Der Außenbereich lädt zum gemütlichen Essen und einem kühlen Getränk ein. Das Beste: Gluten und Laktose haben hier Hausverbot. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Ein solches Restaurant wünschen wir uns auch im hohen Norden.

Schöner schnuckeliger Biergarten

Wir durften gestern ein paar sehr schöne Stunden hier verbringen. Sehr leckeres Essen, sehr nette Bedienung. Alles (außer Bier) ist glutenfrei - was für Eine aus unserer Truppe eine Notwendigkeit ist. Auch in der Hinsicht war es 1A! Liebe Grüße an die Simone und den Max. Gerne wieder - bis nächstes Jahr dann, wenn wir mal wieder nach Regensburg kommen :D
