We recently visited this restaurant, but unfortunately the taste of the food did not meet our expectations at all. The presentation and variety left something to be desired, and the flavors were noticeably weaker compared to our previous experiences. The restaurant owner was very polite and respectful towards the guests, however his attitude towards the employees was disturbing. He constantly spoke to the waiters in a commanding tone and almost reprimanded them in front of the guests. The waiters provided very good service and we couldn't find anything wrong with them. We would have expected that employees would be treated with more respect.

I picked up a dürüm to take with me. It was cold, there was 70% salad with a bit of meat and that meat was disgusting. When you asked for more meat he became rude and said that more meat costs more money. In the end I paid €10 for an overpriced Dürüm that was made with zero love and was cold and they forgot to put spicy in it.

A Çay is always offered after the meal and that is not a given! Çay in Semaver is GREAT! That gives you a Türkiye holiday feeling! What I personally also like is that they also have a mescid (prayer room/place)... Cutlery, table, seating is clean. Ambiance is great... Thanks to the waiter Ismail Abi, he had conversations (not too long, not too short), didn't keep us waiting long, was always approachable and very respectful. Thanks to the whole Turkuaz team!! One of the oldest Turkish restaurants in N. We were definitely there in the 90s, I think even in the 80s. Food is still very fine, cool operators and you can watch the goings-on at the sitting area.

I ordered 4 Gözleme there to take away. Paid 31€ so 8 euros for what came here. This is completely hard and anything but a traditional Gözleme. Maybe an Arab prepared it or something, but I'm totally disappointed. It doesn't taste good at all, it's hard and just untypical. Totally overpriced I hope the owner is ashamed of this product. We recently had breakfast there and paid almost €40 for a vegetarian breakfast. I'd rather go somewhere else

I recently went to the Turkish restaurant Turkuaz and I have to say I'm a bit disappointed. Although the atmosphere was pleasant, the food left a lot to be desired. My steak was particularly annoying. Even though I ordered it English (medium rare), it arrived on the plate completely cooked through. As a result, the meat was dry and had hardly any taste. The starters were ok but nothing special. The service was friendly but a bit inattentive. I had to ask for drinks several times. Overall it was a mediocre experience. For the price I would have expected much more. There are certainly better Turkish restaurants in the city. If you like good meat, I wouldn't recommend Turkuaz - at least not for steaks. Maybe they'll have better luck with traditional Turkish dishes.
