Disappointing visit – long wait and unfriendly service Unfortunately, our visit was anything but satisfactory. We had to wait 55 minutes for just two pizzas. When we politely inquired about the status of our order after 45 minutes, we were informed in an inappropriate and unfriendly tone that the restaurant was full – even though it was almost empty at the time. To top it all off, despite this experience, we were actively asked for a tip at the end – which is completely inappropriate given this level of service.

There were two of us for dinner. A main course was served immediately, but I had to wait over an hour for my pizza. Despite repeated requests to the staff, I received no plausible explanation for the delay. In the end, hungry and disappointed, I decided to cancel the order and leave. I then went to L'Osteria, where the service is always punctual and friendly. After this experience, I will go directly to L'Osteria in the future

Our favorite restaurant! The food is always impeccable, the best pizza I've ever had here, but the pasta is also perfect, there's a huge selection. All the waiters are friendly and very attentive, the service is always fast even when it's full. We come here not only to eat, but to recharge. I spread the word about this restaurant wherever I can. Excellent place for pizza , pasta & pastry Must recommended for families nd friends

I got there 15 minutes before opening and followed a family on to the terrace, glad i did because before opening at 1730 the outside seeting was filled for 25% 😜 I choose the pizza Fritz (4 types of cheese, spicy salami and green peppers and it was a delight. To big to finish but a take away box was quickly arranged😁 If you have room for dessert, I suggest the profitrol 😋 So great food, no show, no drama, just food made by people who love Italien ❤️

We were there two weeks ago and we really enjoyed it. The welcome was nice and friendly, and we got a table right away. The service was good. The drinks came quickly. The pizzas are really big and taste very good. The dessert is also very good. We were very satisfied and will go back next year. Thank you for the nice hospitality.

A very nice Italian pizzeria. The staff was super friendly and attentive! Both the starter and main course were delicious and freshly prepared. The wait time was absolutely fine despite the restaurant being full! We'll be back when we're in Garmisch again!

Long wait even though there is no traffic, it does not give the Arabs any face

Four of us were there for Sunday lunch. We got a nice table right away without a reservation. The food was delicious, very reasonably priced, and the staff were very accommodating. We'd love to come back very soon.

Unfortunately, I absolutely don't recommend it. Unfortunately, none of the seven of us enjoyed the food! The pizza was tough, and the mushrooms weren't tasty either. The pasta wasn't cooked through and tasted like nothing.

The pizzas were very large, well-topped, and tasted delicious. The delivery service was a bit faster than expected. Highly recommended.

On our last night we ate here. It was packed and it remained busy. It was quite noisy though. We both had a pizza, which tasted great. We asked for an extra topping which was no problem. Just a great meal.

Great service, a cozy atmosphere, and a wide selection of dishes... you can tell this is a true Italian restaurant. We were here with a group of 20 people, and everything went smoothly.

I first visited this restaurant in 2008. I was 9 years old. I had the Penne mozzarella e basilica. I loved it. Years later when I was 18 I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant again and I realized that it was the same place! I searched the menu for the pasta I had the first time and there it was. I swear that dish made me have an Anton Ego moment. You know, in Ratatouille where the food critic has a flashback to childhood? I lived in Germany for a few years and every time my family went skiing we always hit this place for the delicious pasta, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and ✨incredible✨fresh tiramisu. I’m telling you. I’m sitting on my couch right now in NC and I’m having a Pavlovian response just thinking about that pasta. 🍝 🤤 I can’t rave about this place enough. Get there before the dinner rush tho! There’s ample seating but a bit of a tight parking area.

I've just ordered two party pizzas and a regular pizza and found a grilled flesh fly in my food. After calling the restaurant back and describing the incident, all they said was "we'll pass this on." No apology, no response, no explanation, just disrespectful. Thanks for nothing! Simply disgusting!

Very friendly staff. The pizzas are large and delicious, which really justifies the price. They also provide a delicious spicy oil at your table. The pasta was also delicious, and a can of Parmesan cheese was served with the pasta dish. Leftovers are only available for takeaway at an additional cost, and splitting a dish between two plates also costs extra. So it's worth it to avoid any leftovers.

We reserved a table for around 6 p.m. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We were served immediately, our requests were accommodated, and the food arrived very quickly. I've rarely had such good Italian food and I'm glad I found this place. The price-performance ratio for the quality and quantity is very good! Since the restaurant was full shortly after 6 p.m., I recommend reserving a table in advance. If you're looking for good food in the evening, this is the place to go.

Ate in the restaurant several times, very nice attentive staff. Of course, sometimes there is a lot going on, so you have to wait. Pizzas look delicious - I recently had them delivered. Pizza bomb also the wine for a delivery good (Pino grigio). Family pizza is huge!

Always a “must visit” when we are in Garmisch.

First time visiting this restaurant in Garmisch Germany. We walked to it from the hotel a couple blocks down the road. The restaurant is next to the main road and easy to get to. There is a really large covered outdoor seating area as well as an indoor dining room. The service was really good with the server attentive and friendly. The pizza we ordered was really good and a good portion. It’s big enough for two people. The only small negative thing was the fact that there was not an English menu. Thank goodness for Google translate. We will definitely go back.

We really enjoyed the visit. The price-performance ratio is great! We had the asparagus pizza with tomatoes & burrata, as well as the pizza with salami, ham, olives & pepperoni. The food was very tasty, we ate pizza, and the prices were quite affordable. The environment was very friendly, the toilets were spotless and the service was impeccable. Especially the waitress who served us made us feel welcome and was very good. Our pizzas, even though the restaurant was full, came within 5 minutes of ordering.

The food was good. Pizza 4 cheese. It seemed to me that there was too much Eidam cheese on it and it became rubbery. The store was full and therefore quite loud. The service was very nice pretty quick and friendly.

There is an individual that works there. This is the 3rd time we have had this person serve us. When it comes to paying, we are charged more than what we are supposed to pay. It may only be a euro or two but there is always some excuse. My Husband questioned the price, because we knew exactly what that pizza cost. This individual charged a bit over a euro more, then said it was a computer type glitch- my husband said “then that is your tip”- it’s just frustrating this day and age. We don’t normally type anything, but it’s the principal of the matter. We normally truly enjoy this restaurant! Everyone is very friendly, kind and the food is great! It’s this one individual that makes it ridiculous.

We ordered the spicy salami pizza and the carbonara pasta, and both were delicious. The authentic flavors and quality of the ingredients make it totally worth it. Highly recommended, without a doubt the best in the area to enjoy good Italian food.

We were visiting Grainau. We went to eat there based on a recommendation. The service employee assigned to us served us with a humorous and at the same time professional manner that we have rarely experienced before. Our food came within 15 minutes max. Special requests were simply included in the order and implemented. The pizza protruded well over the edge of the plate and, like the vegetable lasagne that was also ordered, was a taste experience. We have eaten many pizzas and Italian dishes in various restaurants but the food and service here surpassed everything. It's a shame that this restaurant is 400km away from us 😅. This shop is an absolute highlight.

We were there on Saturday night to celebrate our birthday, we ate very well, all the waiters were super nice, even the boss, the girl whose name I didn't ask, very nice, she made us an extra tiramisu for us which was out of this world, delicious.. Everything was perfect 👌 we will definitely be back

The food here is outstanding! The service, friendliness, and attentiveness of the staff was fantastic. The only thing I would suggest is, they add their Bruschetta as a main as well, it was the best we have eaten outside of Italy!

Very large and tasty pizzas, but unfortunately far too chaotic and loud

The location of the restaurant, the food, the pizzas and the staff are all very nice, but there are two pizza chefs in front of the wood fired oven and one of those pizza chefs has swept the floor and cleaned the tip of the brush with his fingers. I sat directly across from them and he scratched his butt and without washing his hands they both started making pizza again. I felt disgusted and nauseous 🤮🤦‍♀️ but unfortunately I finished the pizza. A little more hygienic would be better, because there are really delicious pizzas, dishes and salads there. Actually they deserve 5 stars but unfortunately 2 🌟 because of these 2 pizza chefs who don't follow the hygiene regulations, have an itchy butt and clean the broom with their hands and don't wash their hands.

Crazy busy Italian restaurant in Garmisch. Came around opening of the dinner shift and within 30min all chairs were filled. Best to make a reservation or come early to have a spot. Food was great and affordable, service quick and friendly.

Are on vacation in Garmisch and have ordered from the delivery service. When I took the order, the telephone operator was very polite and nice to me, even though it wasn't the easiest order. Food was also very tasty and delivery was also very quick. Will definitely order again :)

We were here a year ago, and we had such great food, we came back tonight on our second visit. They are amazing! The pizza's are top level, and the staff is professional and kind. Amazing service, and outstanding Food!!

We had take out on xmas day and it was very good. We were grateful they were open! Lasagne might not be the best choice for take out. The salad and pasta were tasty. We've eaten here many times over the years and the ambiance is very charming and good for families or couples. Service is pleasant though might take a while when very busy. The food ranges between good and great.

Even though the pizza here does not reach the same quality as New Jersey style pizza they still try hard. Other Italian dishes are phenomenal as well and the service and atmosphere are outstanding.

Price performance very very good. The ambience can be more “Italian”, otherwise nice and rustic. Food really excellent. The pizza was nice and thin and the toppings were of very good quality. The pasta was al dente and the ingredients used were fresh. We will come and then gladly again.
