Unfortunately, I went with my family to the restaurant before it closed and there was a guy with a girl at the table next to us and their looks were bold and annoying to us and the waiter took the order carefully but made an inappropriate move and I was with teenage children with all boldness so I went to him and told him that what he did was disrespectful and not permissible and he apologized but what is the use of an apology and tension prevailed in the family for fear that he was drunk. Overall, I will not go to the restaurant again because of the waiter

We reserved a table by phone, which is better. The staff was very friendly, and the food was ready fairly quickly. We had pizza and salad, and the portions were generous. Except for the drinks, I thought the prices were reasonable. As for the noise level, it was quite loud, but it was also quite busy.

During our vacation in Garmisch, we spontaneously ordered a takeaway pizza from there one evening. The call and pickup went smoothly. The pizzas 🍕 were also very good. Almost too big, so you have to have a good appetite. 😁 The price is also really reasonable for the size.

One of the places that seem to be busy all the time, which is a good sign. The restaurant was quite full and there were many takeaways as well. Found the many to be extremely huge and too many options but the items we got were of good quality. The person taking the orders was very friendly and professional. Can definitely recommend this place and very centrally located.

Hey everyone, we had pizza and pasta delivered after a long day of hiking. The tagliatelle with fresh chanterelle mushrooms and the pizza Margherita were excellent! Above all, the delivery was really fast! Thank you so much and have a nice evening!

Delicious pizza, which didn't take long to arrive after ordering. Even though it's a large restaurant, it fills up quickly. If you can plan your visit, it's better to make a reservation. But even for spontaneous visits, they make every effort to find a seat.

The ambiance isn't the prettiest, but you're mainly there for the food. It's truly excellent, and the value for money is decent.

Had a great meal at this Italian restaurant! The pizza, recommended by our lovely Italian server, was fantastic—crispy crust and fresh toppings. Service was friendly and attentive. Definitely worth a visit for solid Italian food!

The pizza is truly delicious. However, it bothers me when you get the bill and are kept waiting until you name a sum that's higher than the actual price. It's like they're waiting for a tip. The restaurant is relatively cramped inside, but that's not a problem in itself. The food is all the better for it.

A Garmisch institution. Many Americans go there because of the nearby Edelweiss Resort. Excellent quality. Service was a little overwhelmed, but overall everything was good. I would give it 4.5 stars. We'll definitely continue to go there often, or order from the legendary Baita-Mobil.

Bad pizza and charge too much on the bill

The pizza is typically Italian, with a crispy, thin crust. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves pizza. The prices are a bit on the high side, like everywhere else, but then, it's GAP.

Pickup was ready after over 40 minutes, instead of 20 minutes as stated on the phone. Pizza was good, gluten-free rigatoni (fusilli) al forno without the advertised meat sauce, but rather with a cream sauce and a dollop of tomato. Unfortunately, it was rather tasteless, but with a lot of cheese.

Dined here during our stay in Garmisch. With no reservation, we walked up at 7 p.m. on Saturday night and we were quickly sat us down in the outside area. Orders taken quickly, and the waiter was very helpful with the menu. Food was very delicious! Also, we weren't rushed although it was busy.

We just went in a for a to go order of pizza and grab a beer while waiting. Pizza was good and the beer was cold.

I ordered a Pizza Inferno. Expecting salami and jalapenos, it ended up with pepperoni and ground beef. Still, it was one of the best pizzas I've ever had. Everything else was also very good. Highly recommended!

Great pizzeria. They're really flexible with special requests. The food was outstanding. Whether it was the pizza or the veal liver with grilled vegetables. The liver was tender, cooked to perfection, and lovingly presented. The prices are reasonable for the quality of the dishes, and the service is truly excellent and worth mentioning.

Unfortunately Not a proper italian Restaurant. I don’t recommend it if you know something about food. The Carbonara is made with cream! and normal Speck (not Guanchale or Panchetta). No homemade pasta. The pizza is ok but rather low standard and was not recieved as in the menu. The Veal medaillons were not at all medaillons but rather thin cut veal “steaks” almost like a schnitzel. Taste was not bad but honestly just because it was quite salty so that gave it a flavour. Coffee is from a full automatic mashine, so no barista (in an Italian restaurant, a bit strange). Mostly a family place I think. All together it was ok, nothing dramatic but just not high quality but rather just really medium quality restaurant for rather higher prices.

For Italian food lovers, this is the best restaurant I have eaten in my life. All the dishes are delicious. It is also better than Italian restaurants. The staff is friendly and respectful.

Today, we went to La Baita with the family for Italian food. I ordered a salad and my wife spaghetti. The children were given children's portions. The food was fresh and hot and served quickly. The quality of the food was very good; we were all full. If you prefer a quieter setting, you shouldn't sit outside, as the road is very close. The staff were very friendly.

A beautiful and relaxing Italian restaurant. I ordered a Margherita and a Risotto pizza. The pizza arrived after 45 minutes. Of course, they told me it would be delayed when I ordered.

My husband and I spent a week hiking in Garmisch and visited La Baita several times. We liked that the restaurant (and the kitchen) were open late, and the food selection was extensive and reasonably priced. When we return, we will definitely stop by again. However, the restaurant can sometimes be very busy, so you'll need to allow more time for your visit.

There are no better pizzas in all of GAP! Very friendly service, excellent table reservation! We were unlucky because a large Syrian family was sitting nearby. We ate pork (all with our fingers) and the little princes squawked endlessly! The friendly staff then found us a table in another area! It's unbelievable how these headscarf-wearing aunts and their princes behave in a restaurant; disgusting and far too loud!

The pizza was good, but the service was overwhelmed and at times unprofessional (drinking glasses were touched on the top edge). The location is right next to a busy street, so the outside area is very noisy.

There were two of us for dinner. A main course was served immediately, but I had to wait over an hour for my pizza. Despite repeated requests to the staff, I received no plausible explanation for the delay. In the end, hungry and disappointed, I decided to cancel the order and leave. I then went to L'Osteria, where the service is always punctual and friendly. After this experience, I will go directly to L'Osteria in the future

Disappointing visit – long wait and unfriendly service Unfortunately, our visit was anything but satisfactory. We had to wait 55 minutes for just two pizzas. When we politely inquired about the status of our order after 45 minutes, we were informed in an inappropriate and unfriendly tone that the restaurant was full – even though it was almost empty at the time. To top it all off, despite this experience, we were actively asked for a tip at the end – which is completely inappropriate given this level of service.

All the waiters are friendly and very attentive, the service is always fast even when it's full. We come here not only to eat, but to recharge. I spread the word about this restaurant wherever I can. I got there 15 minutes before opening and followed a family on to the terrace, glad i did because before opening at 1730 the outside seeting was filled for 25% 😜 I choose the pizza Fritz (4 types of cheese, spicy salami and green peppers and it was a delight. To big to finish but a take away box was quickly arranged😁 If you have room for dessert, I suggest the profitrol 😋 So great food, no show, no drama, just food made by people who love Italien ❤️

Four of us were there for Sunday lunch. We got a nice table right away without a reservation. The food was delicious, very reasonably priced, and the staff were very accommodating. We'd love to come back very soon.

Unfortunately, I absolutely don't recommend it. Unfortunately, none of the seven of us enjoyed the food! The pizza was tough, and the mushrooms weren't tasty either. The pasta wasn't cooked through and tasted like nothing.

The pizzas were very large, well-topped, and tasted delicious. The delivery service was a bit faster than expected. Highly recommended.

On our last night we ate here. It was packed and it remained busy. It was quite noisy though. We both had a pizza, which tasted great. We asked for an extra topping which was no problem. Just a great meal.

I first visited this restaurant in 2008. I was 9 years old. I had the Penne mozzarella e basilica. I loved it. Years later when I was 18 I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant again and I realized that it was the same place! I searched the menu for the pasta I had the first time and there it was. I swear that dish made me have an Anton Ego moment. You know, in Ratatouille where the food critic has a flashback to childhood? I lived in Germany for a few years and every time my family went skiing we always hit this place for the delicious pasta, cozy atmosphere, friendly staff and ✨incredible✨fresh tiramisu. I’m telling you. I’m sitting on my couch right now in NC and I’m having a Pavlovian response just thinking about that pasta. 🍝 🤤 I can’t rave about this place enough. Get there before the dinner rush tho! There’s ample seating but a bit of a tight parking area.

Very friendly staff. The pizzas are large and delicious, which really justifies the price. They also provide a delicious spicy oil at your table. The pasta was also delicious, and a can of Parmesan cheese was served with the pasta dish. Leftovers are only available for takeaway at an additional cost, and splitting a dish between two plates also costs extra. So it's worth it to avoid any leftovers.

We reserved a table for around 6 p.m. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. We were served immediately, our requests were accommodated, and the food arrived very quickly. I've rarely had such good Italian food and I'm glad I found this place. The price-performance ratio for the quality and quantity is very good! Since the restaurant was full shortly after 6 p.m., I recommend reserving a table in advance. If you're looking for good food in the evening, this is the place to go.

Food OK for the price, but not a revelation.

First time visiting this restaurant in Garmisch Germany. We walked to it from the hotel a couple blocks down the road. The restaurant is next to the main road and easy to get to. There is a really large covered outdoor seating area as well as an indoor dining room. The service was really good with the server attentive and friendly. The pizza we ordered was really good and a good portion. It’s big enough for two people. The only small negative thing was the fact that there was not an English menu. Thank goodness for Google translate. We will definitely go back.
