Wonderful facility! Beyond my expectations and a welcome upgrade (rebuilt the whole facility since my last visit). Excellent service, fantastic service, great meeting location, and terrific tours and events. There is plenty of parking close by. The service is first-rate and obligating. The rooms are large. And best of all is the views and location. If you can stay here, you need to do it. There are numerous summer and winter activities, and all are superb.

Excellent Food Excellent service, listened and helped with choices. Not too long to wait. We had a birthday celebration and they were very accommodating with bringing out a cake and singing. It was a fantastic night with no complaints! Highly recommended 👌

This hotel really means vacation, vacation for the soul and being free from worries. It offers a wonderful atmosphere, which is both the furnishings and especially created by the friendly staff. We have been coming to the Werdenfelserei as often as we can since 2020. All the staff seem incredibly friendly and live this friendliness. Unfortunately, I cannot name all the employees I have spoken to and highlight them all because they are all so warm in their own unique way. They manage to create an atmosphere like in your own living room, so that coming on vacation always feels like coming home. But that is something that I cannot describe, you have to experience it yourself. So let's get to the facts: The rooms are beautifully furnished and always clean. I am usually a bit of a wimp, but I really cannot find anything to complain about in terms of cleanliness here. The breakfast buffet offers a large selection, even on my diet I stupidly eat 3000 calories there because everything is so delicious. Also very friendly for vegans. At lunchtime there is also a large selection of “snacks” that will more than fill you up. The restaurant is also incredibly delicious and vegan options are also offered here. The wellness options are wonderful. You can look out over the beautiful park in the sauna, in the steam bath or on infrared loungers, the relaxation area really invites you to fall asleep and my highlight is the pool. An outdoor pool with a view of the Zugspitze and an integrated lounger with a whirlpool function are my personal highlight. The massages are also great. I had mine with Peter. All I can say is that afterwards I felt 10 years younger, like 12... young and fresh 😁 You can start great hikes from there and the Eibsee is not far away by car. You can just go into town to shop or hike into the mountains on the other side. The location is also great. So that you don’t think I was paid for this review; Because I've only been boasting about my enthusiasm so far, there is one small point that isn't perfect for me personally: There is an underground car park, but I personally find it quite narrow. Despite that, I always managed to get through everything safely. However, the people here are so friendly that if I ever get desperate, I'm sure that if I ask, I'll get help here too. So far, solutions have always been found for everything and I've rarely experienced such an attentive hotel. Thank you very much for that and we'll be happy to come back again and again.

I have been able to see the behind the scenes of how the DFAC restaurant works, cooks and serves the NATO school students. This is an extremely clean, well operated, knowledgable staff that can serve some really good authentic food from recipes of where the NATO students come from. Highly recommended if you are a NATO student, German, US Military or US Federal employee. Families living on site can bring kids for the fast food grill on the menus offered.
