It's been a few months since we stayed at the hotel, but it was a wonderful experience that I highly recommend. The welcome was warm with drink and cookies in winter; the rooms and the entire hotel lovingly furnished; the SPA area is very well maintained and cozy with a fireplace and a rooftop pool (which, however, can be a little warmer in winter). The best thing, however, was the breakfast - there were high-quality products and very tasty little things as well as freshly squeezed juices. The price is of course quite high, but for us it was definitely worth it and we would be happy to come again!

We weren't hotel guests. We live in Garmisch and celebrated my wife's birthday in the restaurant with our son and daughter-in-law. First. It wasn't just good, it was very good. It was a total experience. We were here years ago. But neither impressed by the service nor the food. Now we decided to stop by again. And that was a good decision. An absolutely good meal, very well coordinated. A wonderful table on the terrace. And above all, great service from the welcome to the bill. Mr. Störmer accompanied us through the evening in an incredibly friendly manner. Always keeping an eye on us, always having a nice chat, but he never forgot other guests. A truly beautiful hotel with an exceptional ambience and very good service. The food and breakfast - very good. The wellness area and pool are incredibly beautiful and well-kept, perfect for relaxing with a view of the Zugspitze. The location of the hotel is a good starting point for excursions. We felt very comfortable and will definitely come back. A recommendation!

Romantic boutique hotel with very good service, friendly staff and great cuisine. And we really enjoyed it and we'll definitely be back. The hotel has a large underground car park where electric cars can also be charged.

There are hardly any more superlatives to describe this hideaway. We were able to spend 4 days in the Werdenfelserei, which we thoroughly enjoyed! Starting with the fantastically beautiful location next to the park, through the incredibly detailed furnishings, right through to the staff and the catering - an all-round successful hotel with which there is actually nothing to complain about. From the terrace there is even direct access via a small bridge to the beautiful park. The chairs on the terrace are covered in sheepskin, which makes sitting extremely comfortable. As frequent travelers, this is one of the very few locations where we are sure: we will be back!

Very good spa hotel with very good service

The Werdenfelserei is certainly one of the best hotels in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, if not the best. The rooms and the hotel as a whole are very comfortable and furnished with attention to detail. You always have the feeling that a clear vision has been implemented with a lot of dedication at Werdenfelserei. The spa area is relatively small, but completely sufficient for relaxation and there are more than enough loungers and spacious sofa beds. The breakfast is also very generous, there are various types of fresh bread and small specialties such as honey straight from the honeycomb. Unfortunately, the supply of fresh fruit was very limited, which we actually missed a bit. The hotel bar is also highly recommended and is run by extremely friendly staff. Overall, we would say that Werdenfelserei can be recommended without reservation despite the comparatively high price and is definitely worth the price.

Absolutely loved it! We only stayed one night but we will come back for sure. Breakfast was amazing, spa area felt premium and the dinner was a great experience.

We weren't hotel guests - we came specifically for brunch on Sunday and unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. It was an average good breakfast - no highlights. Cappucino doesn't come from a portafilter machine but from a vending machine - Kaiserschmarrn is not freshly prepared but has been left in a pan for a long time - ours was barely lukewarm and certainly not fluffy. No selection of desserts - no buffet with warm dishes You could offer more for the price!

We were here in the restaurant at the end of our short vacation. The first positive impression upon entering was confirmed by eating. The dishes were all delicious and I think the prices were reasonable. The service was very friendly and accommodating and at the same time not intrusive. What I liked best was the beautiful atmosphere. Everything fit together: chic table decorations, a pleasant atmosphere on the terrace and a beautiful overall furnishings. All in all it is highly recommended.

The nature hotel lives up to its name! Not only because of the modern wooden construction, but also because of the green location! Direct access from the terrace via a wooden bridge into the adjacent, beautiful small spa garden! A stream babbles while you have breakfast outdoors! Hotel staff very friendly and everything creates a relaxed atmosphere! Room with your own water fountain and terrace! The wellness area is extremely beautiful and spacious!! Especially the rooftop pool on the roof terrace with a view of the Zugspitze!🥰 This can be used from 7 a.m.!👍👍 Rich breakfast for every taste (vegan, vegetarian, etc...) Top!! Parking space in the underground car park, chilled check-in and check-out as well as excursions without the stressful search for a parking space! The Werdenfelserei is a special, harmonious feel-good hotel that has a design that you rarely find! Already upscale in terms of furnishings and design but still comfortable to hang out and enjoy!! A wonderful short stay for one day for us with a great feel-good factor! Cocktails very tasty and with a large selection and served by a very nice, attentive bartender who had fun at work!🤗👍

Extraordinary atmosphere in the wooden hotel. This hotel is really recommended. It has various highlights, one of which is the spa area with an infinity pool with a view of the mountains. In addition to two saunas, there is an infrared cabin and a steam sauna. The rooms are lovingly and stylishly furnished, and there is a wonderful smell everywhere. The breakfast buffet leaves nothing to be desired, there is really everything your heart desires, including a juice bar where you can either take a ready-made juice or simply put one together and press it yourself. The hotel impresses across the board. We will come back.

I was excited. First of all, the cleanliness: perfect! The rooftop yoga included in the spa was an absolute highlight. The food was also fantastic. The staff was very discreet and helpful. Thanks for the great short vacation!

As a wedding planner, I had the pleasure of organizing a getting ready shoot for a wonderful bride and groom in this hotel. The suite with a roof terrace and mountain views was simply fantastic and provided the perfect backdrop for the photos. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful, which made the stay even more enjoyable. I can only warmly recommend this hotel and therefore give it a deserved 5 stars. Very, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast buffet, nothing left to be desired. The swimming pool is great and I also really liked the fact that you can go to the park straight from the hotel. For me personally, the bed was much too high and the armchair in the room was uncomfortable. It is a very dog ​​friendly hotel.

Day spa far too overpriced for what it offers. It is only possible with lunch, this cannot be canceled. 78 euros are not justified for 2 saunas and a steam bath. Of course, drinks with meals have to be paid extra. The relaxation room was very nicely designed.

I fell in love with this hotel . Everything here is well function. Location is the best . It is next to beautiful park and lovely creek and not far from train station .The owner is so kind and thoughtful . The service is wonderful. When we arrive at 12:00 , they offer us free many delicious plenty breakfast that I have never had the wonderful experience like this before from other hotel . I think that the owner of this hotel must be kind and generous. I am impressed at lady with round black eye glasses at the check in counter , she is so kind and friendly. Wifi is perfect . Plenty of drinking water in our room . I am not wonder why this hotel is become no1 in Germany . If I can vote , I will vote this hotel no1 in the world . I stayed here three nights . I try to find something wrong of this hotel , but I can’t. Only thing I would like to suggest is they should have pick up service from the train station. From a full score of 10 , I give them 9.8 . I wish to come back to enjoy life here again and again.❤️

ADDENDUM: Based on the Werdenfelserei's answer, I would like to add that the Bachmair Weissach charges €85 for a much larger spa area including a snack. Accordingly, I stick to the statement that the price-performance ratio is not right for me. Start of original message: When we entered the hotel we were amazed by the beautiful location and the great architecture. The spa area itself is very attractive, clean and compact. Unfortunately, our experience already started with an unpleasant welcome when we were told that the voucher was out of date and the prices had increased (voucher from 09/23 at €54). After looking online, we found that the “new” price of €69 that was quoted to us could not be found, but only an offer for €92. We were confused and had to go back to reception to get clarity on the price (we were definitely not prepared to pay €92). The arrival was therefore rather uncomfortable. We were not shown around the spa area or informed about the facilities. There was no welcome drink and the provision of water and tea in paper cups was uninviting. The loungers, especially the ones with a view of the Zugspitze, were just normal loungers and not particularly comfortable. There were no infusions or we couldn't be sure because no one had explained anything to us. When we said goodbye, we were simply billed (€69) without being asked about our experience. Overall, the visit left a bitter aftertaste. For us, with the new “relaxed” €92, the price-performance ratio is definitely no longer right.

Very nice, exceptional hotel/restaurant directly on the Loisach. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed the Hutessen, which I can absolutely recommend. Great dedicated team. Creative desserts.

We spent our wedding anniversary at Werdenfelserei and it was simply fantastic! From booking to departure, all of our wishes were met and the team really took care of everything. We booked the Chalet Suite and were thrilled by the cozy atmosphere and the view of the spa park and the mountains. Our requests, such as vases and breakfast catering in the room, were implemented quickly and professionally in advance. The early room cleaning on the wedding day and the late checkout on the day of departure were no problem at all. Breakfast and dinner in the hotel restaurant were a culinary highlight and the staff were always friendly and accommodating. We particularly enjoyed the wellness area, which we were able to book exclusively, with a beautiful view of the mountain panorama and Garmisch-Partenkirchen at night. Overall, our stay at Werdenfelserei was just perfect and we can't wait to come back! If you are looking for a fantastic location for a wedding or simply a luxurious stay in Garmisch-Partenkirchen, you have come to the right place. We were here for a weekend. The hotel is very new and nicely decorated. A good mix of tradition and modernity. From our room we had a great view of the Zugspitze massif. Great! The room was also nicely and comfortably furnished inside. The wellness area is great. There is a large terrace here with a view of the mountains. The highlight is the infinity pool. There is also free tea and small snacks. The breakfast leaves nothing to be desired and is the secret highlight of the hotel. There is also a small gluten-free corner. If the weather is good you can sit outside towards the park. The hotel restaurant was also great. We were very satisfied and would like to come back.

Spontaneously looking for a short trip and a place to relax near Munich, we came across the boutique hotel Werdenfelserei - and our expectations were more than exceeded! As soon as you entered the room with its terrace and access to the garden, through which a small stream babbles and also offers an entrance, you immediately felt deeply relaxed. The atmosphere is characterized by fine wood, beautiful facilities and a modern design that blends harmoniously with nature. The incredibly friendly staff complete the picture perfectly and make you feel welcome and cared for from the first moment. Sustainability, nature and well-being are lived here down to the smallest detail. Handmade soaps instead of shower gel, drinking water taps in the room and in all other rooms instead of packaged bottled water, real wood used, etc. We were spoiled culinary with excellent dishes that made every course a pleasure. The kitchen staff told us that their own brew was made for the dishes, which gave the dishes a special touch. It was outstandingly delicious! The entire ambience of the hotel offers the perfect backdrop to switch off, relax and become one with nature again. One of the most beautiful hotels I have visited so far. Here are no wishes left. Above-average food of the best quality. Very courteous service, super nice, attractive interior. And the spa area covers every need - various sauna rooms, a great massage offer that I was able to convince myself of, outdoor pool with mountain panorama. I was here as part of a yoga retreat and was absolutely thrilled!

TL;DR: this place is absolutely ✨ magical ✨ and you must stay here while in Garmisch. Ask for a room overlooking the park and creek, and for a bicycle tour from Maria Teresa. Staying at this hotel was BY FAR my best hotel experience and we will definitely be back. The location, the dreamy views, the excellent staff, the charming wood construction, the top-notch spa and every little detail in between, this hotel has thought of and taken care of everything. Every staff member was so generous and attentive, and specifically, we had excellent experiences with Maria Teresa (restaurant) and David and Joel (bartenders). We dined in the restaurant one evening (the chef’s creations are exquisite) and Maria Teresa was our server. We mentioned our desire to go bicycling the next day, and she is a cyclist, so she offered to take us on a tour of the town, and recommended a great bike rental shop. For 2 hours during her off-time, she showed us the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen. Words can’t express how thankful I am for the experience! Highly recommend finding the amazing Maria Teresa and asking her to show you around on bikes. Every evening, we relaxed in the bar. David and Joel are so friendly and made sure we had the best time. The cocktails they make are mixologist-quality and are out-of-this-world (try the Cuban Old Fashioned and Blueberry Sour). Their cappuccinos really hit the spot in the afternoon, too. These gentlemen are artists who know their craft. The hotel itself is constructed of wood and has a very “luxury log cabin” vibe. The views from our room’s private balcony took my breath away and the room sizes are much larger than a standard room. From the balcony, you could look over the incredible park to see the Alps, and could hear the creek running below. There is a large spa area with sauna and a moderately-heated roof top pool from which you have panoramic views of the mountains. The location is excellent, with restaurants, shopping, and landmarks all within walking distance. I cannot say enough good things about this place. I wish I took more photos of it, but attached the ones I have. You won’t regret staying here!

This place is phenomenal. Welcoming, beautiful, great service, and the best breakfast spread I’ve ever encountered. Stayed here with 2 adults and 2 well-behaved kids. As they say, kids are welcome but the overall vibe is peaceful and quiet, so not a great fit for wild kids.

It was our first time at Werdenfelserei and definitely not the last time... From the first second you feel comfortable. The service is always extremely friendly. The employees in the spa area do a great job, you could relax very well. The ambience is beautiful and everything coordinates. There is something for everyone at the breakfast buffet. Good quality food that also shows up at dinner. In short: the perfect place to simply leave your stressful everyday life behind and relax.

Amazing hotel experience! - Very comfortable city excess (about 15 minutes from the main station and Zugspitzbahn), 5 minutes away from the restaurants and Altstadt - We had an L studio with wonderful side view on the mountains, front view on the park and very calming small river. The studio is quite spacious to even to stay there for the whole day: drink some tee, breathing the fresh mountain air on the balcony (which is also quite big) or just spending some time on the armchair with the book. The bathroom is also spacious, hotel provides guests with natural soaps from the alps. - Breakfasts is just wonderful: all possible kind of juices, prosecco, bread station, warm dishes, cheeses, fish and basically everything you wish for. Always enough space for the guests and friendly and helping staff - SPA is also only to recommend: different areas for those who prefer quite and relaxing mountain gazing, and a little bit louder place with tea and snacks. Pool, steaming room, sauna and infrared room. Not crowded, well equipped. - Dinner was also just wonderful: good mix of the tradition and modern touch, if you are interested in regional wine - there are also many options to try. Staff is friendly and helpful. The details I maybe would have changed, but I don’t think this should affect my rating: I didn’t take my shampoo and used the natural hair and body soap provided from the hotel - is very nice for the body, but maybe a little to natural for the hair. I also missed the black tea in the room - herbs from alps are great, but sometimes you miss the ordinary pleasures Living quite long in Berlin, it’s my first visit in Bavaria in 10 years and this is just a great place to start - very cozy, well decorated, the wooden smell, nature and elements of the traditional kitchen and the whole ski resort vide is a perfect place to start the vacation in this wonderful land. The stay in this hotel worths every penny spend.

Wonderful boutique hotel, elegant, cozy, modern, but at the same time true to local culture. The SPA area is a must, we have also booked a massage with Peter, who was very kind and professional. Not to forget the delicious breakfast, with high quality local products and of course our Studio which was beautifully and thoughtfully designed - with a magic view on the Zugspitze :) A small hint for the Hotel Team probably reading this review - the pool water could have been a bit warmer :)

Looking forward to a relaxed, culinary and high-quality 7-day stay, I finally arrived at the famous Werdenfelserei after an 8-hour journey. Checked in quickly, freshened up quickly and with a very empty stomach, I rushed to the lobby to find out that unfortunately I couldn't get a small snack as this was only possible until 5 p.m. After all, it was already 5:06 p.m. My question as to what time the restaurant opens was answered that the restaurant was already fully booked. It's a shame, but still no problem, I thought. There were plenty of free seats at the bar or in the lobby, maybe even on the terrace? But unfortunately food is not served there, it was said. Such bad luck! Housekeeping? No Neither! A total gastronomic failure. Even a nice ambience is no consolation. I don't have to have it. Therefore departure the following day! Addendum March 17, 2024 Work-related return for the last 3 days of 7 days. The house is without a doubt beautiful, the view from the pool is spectacular. The meeting room is great. However, the service is “service by the book”. Smiling staff are rare, with the exception of the housekeeping ladies and the bartender. The management personally apologized for the arrival debacle. This happened immediately after checkout and 10 seconds after all bills were paid in full.

Boutiquehotel Werdenfelserei was really a great surprise. Expectations were significantly lower than reality. I discovered and booked two days before arrival relying on the web. The structure is modern, equipped with every comfort, located in a quiet position and very close to the center of Garmisch (five minutes on foot). The rooms are furnished with great taste, all have a beautiful terrace and are soundproofed. The heated outdoor pool, spa and relaxation areas are fantastic in every way. The food served at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner is delicious. The staff is extremely courteous and helpful to everyone. Special thanks to Lara and Maria from the restaurant for their professionalism and kindness towards us. It's really special to feel at home on holiday. Congratulations to all the Werdenfelserei staff. We will definitely be back 💙

We had a wonderful stay here. The room was incredibly beautiful and tastefully decorated and cleaned impeccably. There were lots of sweet little things to discover. We ate in the restaurant every evening and it was great (all the bedside tables were a bit too sweet for our taste, the only negative point :) The breakfast was amazing, totally filling! Wellness area 1A! The service was also professional and friendly. We would love to come back 🫶🏻

In the afternoon we went for a little snack at the Werdenfelserei. The tartar bread was amazing! Very friendly and well organized service. Pleasant atmosphere. We will definitely come by again.

We stayed at this hotel as a family around my birthday last year. A few small changes have occurred during this time, for example that slippers can no longer be found in the room but in the spa. This is completely right. However, for the luxurious prices there is still a lot of room for improvement, especially if you had booked a suite with your own sauna like we did. - the wellness bag that was available in the room was already completely torn from the inside and the plastic had burst open - only very small towels in the room to dry off - unfortunately the service was very inconsistent, the check-in was very friendly but then it started at lunch: baby chair wasn't brought, the bread was forgotten with the soup and came way too late, the espresso we ordered didn't come and we had to remind again - unfortunately it continued like this at breakfast the following day... the baby chair was simply taken away by the service lady even though we were sitting at the table with our baby in our arms for a moment - with the excuse that another family needed one - unfortunately that's not possible! Especially since the hotel had enough chairs. Then we were shocked to discover that there was no longer any portafilter coffee for breakfast, but instead the coffee from the fully automatic machine, which you could get yourself. Savings are made at the wrong end. Unfortunately the coffee doesn't taste good. In other hotels in this one A portafilter coffee and Prosecco are served daily for breakfast. - the ice cream dishes, which you have to order yourself, unfortunately take quite a long time; in other hotels it is much quicker and the egg is not as dry - In the evening our two “younger” waiters are to be praised, as they were very courteous and service-oriented. This was the only positive service experience of the entire weekend. Less nice was the discussion in our presence about the fallen fondue while eating a hat. It can happen, it wasn't a bad thing, but the discussion about it shouldn't be held close to the guests. Especially not when they were easily hit by the hot broth that had spilled over the table and reacted in a friendly manner. The same goes for wine discussions for a recommendation. The food is impeccable and offers a lot. The kitchen is really great. However, the majority of the service is not suitable for the price segment. Unfortunately, the steam sauna in the SPA was without steam for several minutes, so it was not fully usable.

Tolle Lage, sehr gutes Frühstück und schöne saubere Zimmer.

Wir waren bisher seit der Eröffnung regelmäßig zu Gast in der Werdenfelserei und eigentlich totale Fans der Werdenfelserei und Garmisch. Tolles Frühstücksbüffet und sehr schönes ,besonderes Ambiente(räumlich),leider vermitteln nur die Hälfte der Mitarbeiter kein herzliches Willkommen. Unser Aufenthalt im September wird definitiv der letzte in der Werdenfelserei gewesen sein. Wir hatten wie immer ein Zimmer Studio L zur Kurparkseite und durften nicht nur Morgens ( nach unserem eigenen Frühstück)schon lautstarke Frühstücksgäste akustisch von unseremBalkon aus genießen ,sondern abends auch musikalische Beschallung von der Bachterasse sowie das Kurkonzert.Ein offenes Fenster Anfang September somit unmöglich und da keine Klimaanlage auch schwer erträglich. Die Mitarbeiter selbst vermitteln leider auch nach all den Jahren nur zum Teil ,dass man als Gast willkommen ist und nicht als Störfaktor gesehen wird. Wobei die MitarbeiterInnen im Housekeeping und in der Spa-Abteilung ausnahmslos freundlich und serviceorientiert sind ,während die MA der Rezeption sowie nachmittags im Wurzelwerk eher wenig zugewandt wirken ,bzw.viel Personal unkoordiniert herumsteht und der Gast dann auch schon mal bewusst ignoriert wird. Ich habe dies auch schon nach unserem Aufenthalt im Mai bereits auf dem hoteleigenen Bewertungsbogen vermerkt,hätte ich mir aber wohl sparen können . Ich war bis zum letzten Aufenthalt in der Werdenfelserei gerne bereit ,den entsprechend gehobenen Preis zu bezahlen,wir werden aber nach einem derartig unruhigen ,lauten und somit null erholsamen Urlaub dieses Hotel nicht mehr als Urlaubsziel auswählen. Auf der Homepage wird die Gastfreundlichkeit hervorgehoben,interessanterweise sind nicht nur viele der MitarbeiterInnen ,sondern auch die Hotelinhaber maximal zurückhaltend,wenn es um ein normales Guten Morgen geht und laufen stumm am Gast vorbei. Sehr schade…

Zum Geburtstag meiner Frau waren wir für ein paar Tage in der Werdenfelserei. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, was der Unterkunft an sich, aber auch vor allem, dem sehr freundlichen und engagierten Personal zuzuschreiben ist. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt, direkt am Kurpark gelegen, wenige Geh-Minuten bis zur Innenstadt. Das Frühstück bietet eine riesige vielfältige Auswahl. Zum Geburtstag meiner Frau gab es eine kleine Aufmerksamkeit, was wir sehr zu schätzen wissen. Der Wellnessbereich ist gemütlich, der Pool auf dem Dach ein Highlight. Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet, einfach ein Ort zum wohlfühlen und entspannen.

Die Küche verdient volle 5 Sterne! Die Qualität und der Geschmack der Speisen sind hervorragend, die Anrichteweise entspricht der in einem Sternerestaurant. Gaumen- UND Augenschmaus mit teilweise unkonventionellen und überraschenden Food Pairings. Als Hotellerie-bzw. Restaurantkollegin (u.a. 5*, 4*Sup., Rest. Zürich) gibt es Sterneabzug, da der Service noch geschult bzw. professioneller werden sollte. Die Servicegrundlagen (z. B. Einsetzen, Dessertbesteck richtig nachdecken, Kennen der Karte, etc.) sollten in so einem Haus und bei so einer Küche sitzen, egal ob gelernt, oder Quereinsteiger. Die Freundlichkeit und Herzlichkeit der Mitarbeiter steht aber außer Frage! Und Azubi David(?) ist ein Lichtblick, der auf professionellen und begeisterten Nachwuchs hoffen lässt! Terrasse und Wurzelwerk sind immer wieder ein Erlebnis!

Wir sind nun das dritte Jahr dort und wir fühlen uns sehr wohl dort. Hervorragendes Frühstück, gemütliches Ambiente, nicht so groß und der Wellnessbereich klein aber sehr fein mit einem tollen Pool auf der Dachterrasse. Die Zimmer und Betten sind super gemütlich, wir lieben die ruhige Lage und in 5 Minuten zu Fuß ist man mitten in der Fußgängerzone. Rundum sehr zu empfehlen.

Zum Hotel: Wirklich sehr schön eingerichtetes Hotel. Alles wirkt stimmig und gemütlich. Netter Service. Das Frühstück ist extrem gut und reichhaltig! Die Zimmer sind sehr groß und schön eingerichtet. Zum Spa-Bereich: Ganz OK! Recht klein und doch ganz gut besucht am Wochenende. Es gibt nur einen Ruheraum, der natürlich dann auch komplett voll ist und wenig mit Ruheraum zu tun hat. Alle Plätze wurden im Spa-Bereich (typisch Deutsch) reserviert/besetzt. Meist waren auch keine Tassen/Becher mehr vorhanden, um sich etwas zum Trinken zu nehmen. Fazit: Wir haben uns soweit aber trotzdem entspannen können. Wenn da der Preis nicht wäre....(Glücklicherweise hatten wir einen Gutschein) Preis/Leistung hat unserer Meinung nach nicht gestimmt. Preis würde stimmen, wenn Mittagessen + Abendessen im Restaurant noch dabei wäre. Damit könnte man dann Leben und das Hotel hätte gut gemeinte 5* bekommen. Ansonsten wird es uns in die Werdenfelserei nicht mehr ziehen. Das Hotel ist eher etwas für Leute mit dickem Geldbeutel.

Sehr modern und wertig eingerichtet. Das beste Frühstück, das ich bisher in einem Hotel hatte. Das hoteleigene Restaurant ist erstklassig. Das Zimmer mit Blick auf die Zugspitze war Top.

Super Hotel mit riesigem Wellnessbereich und tollen geräumigen Zimmern. Leckeres Frühstücksbuffet - Achtung, die Kleidung ist nach dem Aufenthalt enger… Tolle Ruhebereiche im SPA und sogar mit kleiner Auswahl an Tee, Knabbereien und Getränken. Die Zimmer sind modern, clean und warm eingerichtet. Man fühlt sich einfach wohl. Einziger Kritikpunkt, den ich aus vorherigen Rezensionen bislang noch übernehmen muss, die Zimmer sind echt warm trotz lüften. Aber ich entnehme meinen Vorrednern, dass die Klimaanlagen eingebaut werden. Es lohnt sich auf jeden Fall und wir kommen wieder.

Wir waren zum Brunch in der Werdenfelserei. Schöne Location und netter Empfang, allerdings wurde uns nichts zum Brunch erklärt oder gar gesagt wie lang es geht oder wie es läuft. Zu unserem Erstaunen war es dann plötzlich nach bereits 2,5 Stunden vorbei und es gab nichts mehr. Für einen Brunch für 43€ sind 2,5 Stunden viel zu wenig. Unter einem gemütlichen Brunch stelle ich mir wirklich etwas anderes vor und kenne das auch ganz anders. Wir waren leider sehr enttäuscht. Die Auswahl war okay, allerdings keine 43€-Auswahl.

Ein Besuch des Restaurants war einfach super. Service optimal, Essen ein Traum.

Waren dort 9 Tage,haben das Studio M gebucht,geräumig,Balkon,getrenntes WC vom Bad,große Dusche,Mega Auswahl beim Frühstück,tolles Personal. Empfehlen kann ich den Wellness Bereich, Kosmetik Behandlung,super Personal.Dann der Blick vom Rooftop Pool auf die Berge 💓

Ein wirklich tolles Hotelkonzept und ein einzigartiges Hotelflair. Nettes Personal, leckeres und frisches Frühstück und ein sehr schönes Design. Auf jeden Fall kommen wir mal wieder, das hat sich wirklich gelohnt. Einziger kleiner Punkt war die fehlende Klimaanlage die aber gerade eingebaut wird.

Wahr gewordener Traum. 6Sterne....Inhaber suuuuper nett und heutzutage kaum zu finden. Essen überragend.....

Insgesamt leider eine Enttäuschung. Pro - Sehr gute Mittags- und Abendkarte - Sehr gutes Frühstück - Zentrale Lage (siehe Contra) - Kostenlos Parken in der Tiefgarage - Riesiger Ruhebereich mit Kamin und toller Aussicht Die Küche im Hotelrestaurant ist sehr gut und arbeitet überwiegend mit regionalen Zutaten. Große Auswahl an Weinen. Das Frühstück ist umfangreich, es gibt glutenfreie Getreide, eine Saftpresse, große Auswahl an Brot und Tee sowie eine Station für frisches und nach Wunsch zubereitetes Rührei, Waffeln und Kaiserschmarren. Die Lage am Park bietet einen schönen Blick ins Grüne, es gibt allerdings auch Zimmer zur Straße. Man ist in 5 Minuten ins Zentrum von Garmisch spaziert. Die zentrale Lage hat aber auch Nachteile (siehe Contra). Der Ruhebereich im Spa über zwei Ebenen ist sehr gemütlich gestaltet. Viel Liegefläche, Rückzugsorte, ein Kamin und tolle Aussicht. Contra - Reaktion auf mangelhafte Zimmerhygiene - Gleichgültigkeit der Betreiber bei Unzufriedenheit - Ausstattung SPA / Fitness - Erreichbarkeit bei Lärmbelästigung - Zentrale Lage In der ersten Nacht wurde ich durch Silberfische im Bett wach gehalten. Als Reaktion darauf wurde am nächsten Morgen das Bett frisch bezogen und eine Köderbox aufgestellt. Von einem Hotel dieser Preiskategorie hatte ich mir irgendeine Form der Entschuldigung erhofft, beispielsweise eine Massage / Abendessen auf's Haus. Am folgenden Abend war wieder ein Silberfisch im Zimmer, aber wenigstens nicht im Bett. Das Dampfbad ist nicht sehr angenehm, weil dort die Temperatur stark schwankt. Statt das Bad kontinuierlich schön warm und dampfig zu halten, wird nur etwa alle 5 Minuten Dampf erzeugt. Dazwischen kühlt der Raum deutlich ab. Es gibt keine Möglichkeit sich nach einem Saunagang ordentlich abzukühlen. Das Wasser in der Dusche wird nicht wirklich kalt (deutlich über 12°C zumindest im April/Mai) und es gibt kein Tauchbecken. Von der Dachterrasse hat man einen tollen Ausblick auf die Bergwelt - allerdings auch auf eine vielbefahrene Kreuzung mit entsprechender Lärmkulisse, die dem Spa-Genuss schon abträglich ist. Das ist die Kehrseite der zentralen Lage. Ein Fitnessraum ist vorhanden, allerdings "nur" mit Yoga, BlackRoll und TRX Equipment. Geräte bzw. Gewichte zum Ausdauer- oder Krafttraining gibt es nicht. Während meines Aufenthalts hatten Gäste Lautsprecher mitgebracht und hörten dröhnende Musik von Mitternacht bis 3 Uhr Morgens. Zudem hatten sie lautstark Sex auf dem Balkon. Freut mich für die beiden, aber leider war weder die Rezeption noch das Restaurant oder die Bar zu dieser Zeit erreichbar. Als Gast fühlt man sich in so einer Lage seinem Schicksal überlassen. Letztlich habe ich wegen schlechtem Schlaf und mangelnder Erholung meinen Aufenthalt nach fünf Tagen abbrechen wollen, gebucht waren sieben Übernachtungen. Bei der früheren Abreise gab es keinerlei Entgegenkommen, es wurden trotz der Unannehmlichkeiten die übliche Stornogebühr von 80% verlangt. Die Rezeptionistin und der Rezeptionist waren beide sehr bemüht und entschuldigten sich mehrmals. Sie boten mir ein anderes Zimmer an und gingen auch mehrmals ins Büro um zu erfragen ob man mir wegen der Umstände mit den Stornogebühren entgegen kommen könnte. Statt dass dann aber jemand aus dem Büro sich dem enttäuschten Gast stellt, geschweige denn ein Mitglied der Familie Ehrhard, wird die Rezeptionistin zur Überbringung der schlechten Nachrichten geschickt. Letztlich leider eine enttäuschende Erfahrung trotz teilweise sehr engagierter Mitarbeiter und guter Verpflegung. Der Aufenthalt war nicht erholsam.

Von den Zimmern übers Ambiente bis zu den Servicepersonal alles ausgezeichnet! Besonders Herr Fraundorfer war sehr charmant und zuvorkommend

Da nach der Veröffentlichung meiner unten aufgeführten Reaktion die Geschäftsleitung persönlich Kontakt zu mir aufgenommen hat, freut es mich meine Bewertung doch noch ändern zu können. Frau Erhardt war sehr interessiert und hat sich jede Kritik sehr zu Herzen genommen, viel Verständnis gezeigt und konnte mir auch einige Dinge ganz anders erklären, sowie Fakten berichtigen. (z.B. Pommes tatsächlich falsch geschaut, der rechte Kurparkplatz umsonst etc, Wäscheproblem siehe Ihre Beschreibung). Die Herzlichkeit die uns an dem Tag gefehlt hat, wurde mir in vollen Zügen in diesem Gespräch entgegengebracht und ich kann mich nur bedanken, für die großzügige Entschuldigung, die das Hotel sich hierfür einfallen hat lassen. Schön, dass es solch empathische und kompetente Führungskräfte doch noch gibt! Das Hotel an sich würde für die Optik die vollen 5 Sterne bekommen, da es überall sehr geschmackvoll und außergewöhnlich gestaltet ist. Auch der Ausblick auf der Dachterrasse und das Restaurant in Richtung Kurpark liegend ist unglaublich schön. Leider waren wir vom Service in allen Bereichen so enttäuscht, dass wir hier den vorhergehenden Bewertungen mit dem Satz " mehr Schein als Sein" nur zustimmen können und demher 3 Sterne abziehen müssen. Hierzu ein paar Beispiele: DaySpa Gäste dürfen, trotz 2 von 3 Schildern die genau das Gegenteil sagen, nicht in der Garage parken. Warum bietet man nicht in Kooperation den Kurparkparkplatz mit Geldnachlass an? Zweiter Satz der Empfangsdame... sie hätte gerne einen Pfand und am liebsten den Autoschlüssel. Als Gast würde ich gerne selbst entscheiden, was ich als Pfand geben möchte. Abgesehen davon finde ich es für so ein hochpreisiges Haus total unangebracht. Im Spa angekommen haben wir einen feuchten Bademantel ausgehändigt bekommen und um einen Neuen gebeten, woraufhin die Dame zu meiner Freundin sagte, sie solle ihn doch einfach in die Sonne zum Trocken hängen. Die zweite wichtige Info dieser Frau war, dass wir unbedingt um 20 Uhr hier fertig sein müssen, was man bereits um 19:30 Uhr zu spüren bekommen hat. Um im Spa Bereich einen Aperitif oder Speisen genießen zu können muss man vom 3 Stock ins Restaurant im EG fahren, wo wir dann für 7,40€ einen 0,2 Aperol mit Lippenstiftrand von der Vorgängerin bekommen haben. Kann passieren, nur kam keinerlei Entschuldigung oder ähnliches. Zur Info ist eines der günstigen Gerichte Pommes mit Trüffelmajo für ca. 12 Euro, weshalb wir aufs Essen verzichtet haben. Auch seltsam fand ich, dass der Boden als auch die Holzsitzflächen in der finnische Sauna so extrem aufgeheizt sind, dass selbst ich als erfahrene Saunagängerin trotz Unterlage nicht lange darauf aushalten konnte. Aufgüsse gibt es leider auch keine, was ich ebenso sehr schade finde, da selbst geringpreisigere Hotels wie das Aja bereits welche anbieten. Zum Schluss wurde unsere Rechnung überreicht mit der Anmerkung, dass wir einen Aufpreis zahlen müssen, da die Preise auf unserem Gutschein veraltet sind. Als wir dann geäußert haben, dass es schön gewesen wäre das zuvor zu wissen, bekamen wir entgegengebracht die Preise stehen auf der Bestätigungsmail und wir könnten froh sein, dass sie die Gutscheine nach 3 Jahren Ausstellungsdatum überhaupt noch annehmen würden. Unser Fazit : Anstatt Nagelfeilen mit Werdenfelsereiaufdruck zu verschenken und Badetaschen mit Mänteln und co auszuhändigen würden wir empfehlen das Augenmerk mehr auf die Herzlichkeit und vor allem Kompetenz im Umgang mit den Gästen zu legen. Sehr, sehr schade!

Unbelievable! If you're staying near the area, you must go to the spa and the restaurant. The servers are supremely friendly and helpful, the spa is beautiful and has tons of amenities from saunas to pools and it's in the roof so we got to see some lighting over the mountains as we swam. STAY HERE!!
