Wir waren gestern Abend zum Essen dort. Ein wirkliches Erlebnis. Wer gehobene Gastronomie mit Liebe zum Detail, tolle Getränke, Gastgeber mit Kenntnis über Produkte und Lieferanten und Regionalität mag, muss das 4Eck besuchen. Sie bekommen die Aromen des Waldes serviert.

Wir hatten einen ganz tollen Abend im „versteckten“ Garten - ich habe ein 5-Gänge Menü zum Geburtstag geschenkt bekommen, es war eine außergewöhnliche Erfahrung mit ganz viel Liebe zum Detail. Auch die Getränke waren besonders, sowohl alkoholisch als auch die Mocktails. Vielen Dank für das tolle Essen, wir kommen gerne wieder 😊

Also das war so richtig Mega lecker. Unglaublich aufmerksamer, fachkundiger Service. Beginnend vom lauschigen Platz im Garten, über den Gruß aus der Küche bis hin zum Dessert: „Ich glaub, ich steh im Wald“ 🌳 / so nennt sich auch eines der leckeren Gerichte im 4Eck. Preislich ist es etwas gehoben, jedoch es enttäuscht auf keiner Linie. Wir sagen noch mal danke für den zauberhaften Abend, und kommen gerne wieder ins 4Eck.

Wir waren schon öfters im 4-Eck. Essen und Service ist immer wieder hervorragend. Man fühlt sich durch das Ambiente und den äußerst zuvorkommenden Service außerordentlich wohl. Die Küche übertrifft sich jedes Mal aufs Neue und jeder Bissen ist ein Geschmackserlebnis. Ein großes Lob an das ganze Team!

Schon die Organisation im Vorfeld war unglaublich unkompliziert, herzlich und gleichzeitig absolut professionell. Man hat zu jeder Zeit gemerkt, dass ihr wisst, was ihr tut — und dass euch wirklich wichtig ist, dass dieser Tag perfekt wird. Unser Hochzeitstag begann mit 9 Grad, Starkregen und Schnee auf den Bergen — mitten im Juni. Eigentlich hätte man denken können: Das war’s mit der freien Trauung im Garten. Aber nicht mit euch. Ihr hattet alles vorbereitet, mit Schirmheizungen, Decken und so viel Ruhe und Flexibilität, dass wir trotz dieses Wetters eine wunderschöne freie Trauung draußen feiern konnten. Als dann sogar eine Regenpause kam und auch der Sektempfang im Freien stattfinden konnte, war das einfach magisch. Ganz besonders hervorheben möchten wir euren grandiosen Service. Euer Serviceteam war wirklich der Hammer. Uschi und Kerstin — ihr beide seid einfach der Wahnsinn. So herzlich, aufmerksam, professionell und dabei immer mit einem Lächeln. Ihr wart nicht nur Service, ihr wart an diesem Tag echte Gastgeberinnen mit Herz. Jeder Wunsch wurde gesehen, bevor man ihn überhaupt aussprechen musste. Auch als es bei uns kleine Pannen gab, habt ihr unfassbar flexibel und liebevoll reagiert. Nachdem die Braut im Brautkleid mit ihrem Sohn und einer Platzwunde in der Notaufnahme saß, haben Küche und Service komplett entspannt reagiert und das Menü einfach geschoben. Keine Hektik, kein Stress — nur Verständnis und perfekte Organisation. Liebe Kerstin, auch von mir als Bräutigam ein ganz besonderer Dank: Als Steffi wegen einer Magenverstimmung kurz eine Pause brauchte, warst du sofort da — mit deiner fürsorglichen Art, Tee und Magentropfen. Genau solche Momente zeigen, dass Service bei euch nicht nur professionell, sondern von Herzen kommt. Und weil man es erwähnen muss: Die Magenverstimmung kam natürlich nicht vom Essen — denn das war schlicht fantastisch. Unsere Gäste waren begeistert und haben geschwärmt. Mehrfach haben wir gehört, dass sie noch nie so gut auf einer Hochzeit gegessen haben. Ein riesiges Dankeschön an das Küchenteam: Ihr seid absolute Spitzenklasse und habt uns mit euren kreativen, besonderen Köstlichkeiten wirklich begeistert. Die Dekoration, die Atmosphäre, das Essen, der Ablauf, der Service — es hat einfach alles gestimmt. Ihr habt aus einem wettertechnisch schwierigen Tag eine Hochzeit gemacht, die für uns perfekter nicht hätte sein können. Was für ein toller Abend. Mit 10 Gästen wurden wir perfekt bedient. Immer aufmerksam aber nicht störender Service . Das Essen sehr kreativ und unglaublich lecker . Wer ein unvergleichlichen Abend erleben möchte ist hier genau richtig. Wenn ihr Zeit habt Uschi, die Eigentümerin zu sprechen macht das . Man merkt wie sie hinter dem steht was sie macht . Alle verwendeten Produkte kommen von Kleinproduzenten aus der Region . Wir kommen bestimmt wieder

Für den späteren Teil des Abends stand uns ein eigener, wunderschön hergerichteter Raum zur Verfügung. Die wunderschöne Dekoration, die fantastische Hochzeitstorte und sogar mein Brautstrauß wurden komplett vom Restaurant organisiert – alles perfekt aufeinander abgestimmt. Hut ab! Man sieht es dem Laden von außen nicht an, aber was die beiden Damen da anbieten ist wirklich beeindruckend, sowohl was die Kulinarik angeht als auch den Service. Man merkt sofort, dass das Personal erstklassig geschult wurde, und auch in der Küche kreativ und auf sehr hohem Niveau gekocht wird. Und auch wenn es etwa mehr kostet, ist es das Erlebnis auf jeden Fall wert. Wir würden gern wiederkommen und bedanken uns für einen tollen Abend!

Es war nicht unser erster Besuch gestern, aber jedes Mal fühlt es sich an, als würden wir diesen besonderen Ort neu entdecken. Schon beim Eintreten – ob ins heimelige Drinnen mit Wohnzimmer-Wohlfühlgefühl oder in den „geheimen Garten“ – stellt sich sofort dieses warme, vertraute Willkommen ein. Die Speisen und die mit so viel Liebe und Kreativität zubereiteten Getränke verzaubern uns jedes Mal aufs Neue. Die verschiedenen Geschmackskombinationen, die dann am Ende das grosse Ganze ergeben sind wundervoll durchdacht und ergeben ein perfekt harmonisches Gesamtbild – geschmacklich wie optisch. Der Service ist perfekt: warm, aufmerksam und authentisch herzlich, mit feinem Gespür und ohne jede Aufdringlichkeit. Genau die Art von Gastfreundschaft, die man nicht oft findet. The menu was excellent, and the entire team was so friendly and attentive, the service warm and professional. We simply felt at home. The 4Eck is a must-visit on our annual Garmisch vacation. All the dishes and cocktails are works of art, presented by the team with exceptional expertise and exceptional friendliness. And then there are the explosions of flavor – simply outstanding. The ambiance in the restaurant is very pleasant; you immediately feel at ease while enjoying the menu. What a wonderful experience at this exceptional restaurant! The lovely interior enfolds you in a relaxing warm glow. Everyone is friendly and nice, explaining the dishes, helping with a choice of wine. Then the food begins! Every dish is a work of art, for the eye and then the taste. We had the flank steak and the veal with sides of truffle pommes and a leaf salad with roasted nuts. All excellent, creative and complimentary. We closed with the Ulalla cherry desert, delicious and beautiful. Part of the magic is the locally sourced ingredients at the height of freshness, the balance is talent and care. What can I say, sehr lecker and veilen danke to all at 4Eck!

Exceptional!!! We were privileged to experience a wonderful family celebration with almost 30 people at 4Eck. Not only was the planning process completely uncomplicated and accommodating, but the evening itself was also a complete success! The ambiance was dreamy! We already knew that the beautiful room would speak for itself. But the table decorations were also designed with such attention to detail that even the empty restaurant was magnificent to behold. The service was sensational! Dining at its finest! The entire team is so passionate and enthusiastic that you simply feel at home. Each course was explained to us in detail, our glasses were always filled, and even our little ones were pampered with so much love and culinary delights that even we adults were amazed to see them. The menu was a truly delicious treat! Each course had its own, truly enchanting touch. The courses were all wonderfully coordinated, and in between, we were treated to a sorbet to rejuvenate our taste buds. In short: the finest cuisine and pure enjoyment. If you're looking for something truly special, the 4Eck is absolutely the right place! We'll be back again and again!

The restaurant combines fine dining with a relaxed, almost living room-like atmosphere in a very special way. The food was outstanding: creative, regional, high quality and prepared with great attention to detail. Each course was a small work of art, tastefully thought out and excitingly composed. Despite the high culinary standard, there was a pleasant relaxed atmosphere - you immediately feel welcome, almost like you're having dinner with good friends. The service is particularly noteworthy: attentive, charming, unobtrusive and with a keen sense of the right moment. The wine advice was excellent - our waiter quickly recognized my taste and impressed me with a selection of great wines. Conclusion: The 4Eck is the ideal place for everyone who wants to enjoy relaxation without sacrificing sophistication. Another thoroughly successful evening – and certainly not the last!

A few years later, we came to GaPa again, of course, to relive the surprises brought by the food. Just like last time, the novel dishes, superb cooking, and the service and atmosphere of the entire restaurant gave us an unforgettable gourmet experience. Much better than the local Michelin-recommended restaurants, definitely worth the money.

Each dish was not just a meal, but an experience in itself. The combination of fresh, regional ingredients and innovative preparations was simply extraordinary. The flavors were intense but not overwhelming, and it was clear that each plate was made with love and dedication. The food was very good and service was great. The ordered special tris di coctail which was not good at all.. We started food with tartar and Japanese garden, which tartar was amazing, Japanese garden was not a good choose. The advised rising wising was very good. The main courses we ordered were Heilbutt Wildfabg, entricode and caremella pasta. Heilbutt was spectacular. Pasta was not as expected and Extricode was ok. The turf butter was great and the souce of potato fries was amazing.

We had an amazing dinner at this place. Im vegan and my boyfriend is vegetarian and while there were not many options on the menu, chef has created an amazing dinner for us. Unique place in Garmisch. The atmosphere is extremely cozy and warm, the service is absolutely wonderful and friendly, menu is delicious and food is beautiful in service. I’d highly recommend this restaurant if you are after something special for your occasion. P.s.: apparently its kids friendly too, the staff did brilliant job in keeping my 5yo entertained for a good two hours

The restaurant is truly excellent! With a nice atmosphere and friendly environment, the restaurant staff makes the most out of the cozy Garmisch town! The choice of flavors and combinations in every dish truly surprised my palate! The wine choices were also a perfect and balanced match for every dish. Even the desert, which is never my favorite dish, made me wish I could have more! We will be back for the summer time!

This is an amazing restaurant, if you enjoy really good food and you are around Garmish is an obligatory stop. To be honest I don’t know how didn’t have a Michelin star already.

It is basically a gourmet restaurant. Expensive but well worth it. Creative and interesting food. Not many dishes but enough variety to make everyone happy. Many "local" ingredients. Service was friendly and attentive, they easily accomodated our "extra" requests. Place is cozy and clean. In my opinion, it deserves Michelin recognition. Friday and saturday it is also open for lunch, I suggest updating your Google opening times to get more people in...

The 4ECK in Garmisch-Partenkirchen is simply fantastic! From the stylish atmosphere to the attentive service to the excellent food – everything is just right here. We were particularly impressed by the surprise cocktails, which were not only creative but also incredibly tasty. We have been guests several times and are always pleasantly surprised. It is by far one of the best restaurants we have ever experienced. Many thanks to the entire team for this unique experience – we will definitely be back!

Wow, einfach nur wow. Schwer in Worte zu fassen was einen hier erwartet. So herzlicher Service, aufmerksam und beratend, einwandfreie Speisen in sehr guter und hoher Qualität und ein echt schönes Ambiente um genießen zu können. Die Preise wirken auf den ersten Blick ein wenig hoch, ABER wenn man die gestiegenen Preise insgesamt, faire Löhne und die Qualität des Essens betrachtet sind die Preise vollkommen gerechtfertigt. Wir hatten hier einen wunderschönen Urlaubsabend und jeder der hier etwas auszusetzen hat meckert auf sehr, sehr, sehr hohem Niveau. Eine Empfehlung muss ich aussprechen, alles andere würde sich komplett falsch anfühlen. Danke für alles!!

Schon bei der Ankunft wurden wir von der gemütlichen Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre verzaubert. 🤩 Gestartet haben wir mit alkoholfreien Aperos die erfrischend und zugleich innovativ waren - hier versteht die Chef-Bartenderin noch ihr Handwerk. 🍸 Wir entschieden uns für die 4 Aufenthalte (4 Gänge) und jeder übertraf unsere Erwartungen. 🤤 Von unserem Amuse und dem regionalen Brot zu Anfang über unsere Gänge wie dem Tatar, einer Thai Curry Suppe und dem Beeftea über das Werdenfelser Lamm und der Platzfisch, Lachsforelle – Ja, Fisch in den Bergen und er war grandios! – bis zu unserem Dessert einem Schafskäsekuchen und Bienenstich 4.0 war alles ein kulinarisches Meisterwerk, das mit regionalen Zutaten und viel Liebe zum Detail zubereitet wurde. 🍴 Das Küchenteam um die beiden Inhaberinnen Kerstin Schumann Ishizuka und Uschi Glas sowie das Serviceteam mit Peter Laffin an der Spitze sind wahre Könner auf ihrem Gebiet. 💯 Eins steht fest: Wir kommen wieder! Sehr freundlich wurden wir am Eingang empfangen und zu einem sehr schön gelegenen Tisch in der Ecke des Restaurants geführt. Das Restaurant verfügt nur über 10 Tische, dadurch ist der Geräuschpegel angenehm ruhig und der Service hat Zeit für seine Gäste. Wir hatten vorab das „Hoamat-Menü“ gebucht, das aus drei Gängen besteht. Die Weinauswahl ist angemessen und lässt für uns keine Wünsche offen. Wir wählten einen tollen Riesling des Weingutes Manz aus Reinhessen. Bei der Zubereitung der Speisen kann man durch die offene Küchenarchitektur zusehen. Das Personal ist freundlich, kompetent und hochprofessionell. Obwohl das Restaurant (noch - oder bewusst nicht?) keinen Stern aufweist, wird hier Sterneküche auf höchstem Niveau in unglaublichen Geschmackskompositionen zelebriert. Und das ohne die manchmal typische Arroganz, sondern nett partnerschaftlich auf Augenhöhe. Qualität und Darreichung rechtfertigen mindestens einen Stern. Dafür sind die Preise noch sehr fair. Ein einzigartiges Restaurant, das wir gerne wieder besuchen werden.

Sept 5 2024 This is one of the best dining experiences we have had. To find this gem in Garmisch was a delightful surprise. We should be so lucky to have a place like this in New York City. The special Thursday meal was perfect in a fix priced selection of local breads, meats, herbs, and a special cheese cake. Portions are just right. The service was superb. Bavaria is also special.

This restaurant is an absolute gem. The food is absolutely fantastic, with really unique flavor combinations prepared flawlessly. The entire restaurant staff is very friendly and the service is exceptional. Our waiter was particularly helpful in helping us choose wines to pair with our main dish. Overall, the experience was fantastic and I cannot recommend more highly!

We were at 4Eck for our wedding anniversary, the restaurant was recommended to us as the best in Garmisch and we have to say we weren't disappointed. It was great. On the one hand, we were greeted with a beautiful decoration and the menu was lovingly prepared and peppered with little surprises between the individual courses. Service also first class. If you're looking for something special, you've definitely come to the right place. :)

This was a special experience for our last night in Garmisch. They take great pride, clearly, in providing a dining experience unlike any other in town. We had delicious meals and our kids loved everything they chose as well. The service was attentive and kind. My husband it was the standout meal of our trip. Thank you for a special evening!

We came across the restaurant by chance and were very lucky to get a table without a reservation, otherwise we would have missed out on the great food. The service was absolutely friendly, helpful and professional. The meal was excellent! You can tell that thought is put into the food here and the ingredients are coordinated with each other.
