Bungalow 7 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

We recently dined at the bungalow with five people. The atmosphere is inviting. Each of us had a burger with a side dish and several drinks. The food was excellent, and the service was very friendly and attentive. Empty glasses were quickly replaced with new ones upon request. At the end of the meal, we enjoyed a pleasant chat with the owner over a drink at the bar. Great food, great staff, we'd love to come back next year! White h Boys

My husband and I come here regularly for burgers. The service is always very friendly, and our children always feel welcome, too.

This was our favourite meal in GaPa. Mediterranean chicken burgers with garlic parm fries and truffle mayo were “chef’s kiss”. Go!

Try their special burger. That day it was the truffle burger. To be honest, the restaurant is good. But the prices are a bit high.

Nice atmosphere, but we were only allowed to order drinks from the waitress, and food later. That took 15-20 minutes. Since we were passing through, we just wanted to pay for the drinks quickly, but the card only accepted orders over €10, so we had to order something else. Definitely take your time when you come here 🙏🏻

Sorry, the 5 stars for the service aren't really accurate. It should really be 10 stars; I've never been served so well, super friendly... There are certainly plenty of places to eat well in Garmisch. I'll be there for two days and will be eating at Bungalow 7 again tomorrow 😅, that says it all. It couldn't be better for me 👍👍👍 keep up the good work.

We were there for dinner today with our two children. We received a friendly welcome at reception and were shown straight to our table. A highchair and a toy box were provided for the children, and the daily and summer menus were explained to us. After ordering, our food and drinks arrived quickly. The waitress was extremely friendly and the food was very good! Kudos to the entire team. If you're willing to spend a euro more, you'll definitely get good service and delicious food.

Service was very friendly and the ambiance was also very nice. We ordered two beef burgers. One with fries as a side order and the other with garlic parmesan fries because they were recommended to us. The fries were really good (especially the garlic parmesan). Unfortunately, the meat on the burger was cooked well, not medium as ordered. The only apology we received was, "Oh, it must have been cooked a bit too long." When ordering, we were asked whether we wanted Emmental or Camembert on the burger. The waiter recommended Camembert, and we opted for that. Then, when we got the bill, we were disappointed: there was a surcharge for "extra cheese." This wasn't communicated to us beforehand, and it wasn't listed on the menu. The same goes for the surcharge for mayonnaise. We were very surprised and taken by surprise. The surcharges should be communicated openly here, especially when we're given a choice of toppings. Unfortunately, I wasn't satisfied with the portion either.

Gluten-free burgers, spare ribs, sweet potato fries, and halloumi fries are available there. Very friendly staff.

Question: "Do you have a reservation?" No, we just want something to drink! A cocktail, a cup of coffee and table water for 21.50 euros! Cocktail 10.50 euros; cup of coffee 4 euros and now we have water for 7 euros - hello, OUTRAGEOUSNESS!!! So, watch out, because this is extortion! Never again!

After a long day of hiking in the mountains, we stumbled upon this place by chance and received world-class service and fantastic food.

We've been here several times now for dinner or just for a drink and have never been disappointed. Quite the opposite: every visit has been an experience because: - the food is delicious, fresh, and plentiful. - the staff is consistently friendly, welcoming, and service-oriented – even when the place is full. - the ambiance is appealing, tidy, and clean. And – last but not least – - the selection of food, drinks, and extras is very good. It's something special with its own unique touch. Not the average fare you'd get elsewhere. Special requests are also easily accommodated! We unreservedly recommend it. We'd be happy to come back anytime!

We came for the garlic Parmesan fries! They were amazing and so was the rest of our food. I had the Mediterranean burger and an Aperol spritz. The service was good and our server was friendly. We sat outside and the weather was beautiful! They have gluten free options for folks as well.

Very friendly service. Great atmosphere and delicious food. Good selection; the waitress even asks (when ordering a burger) how you'd like it cooked, e.g., medium, etc. I also particularly liked the wide selection for vegetarians and vegans. They also asked if you wanted a special version of the dish or a vegan/vegetarian option. Drinks and cocktails were also very good. Restrooms were clean. Parking is available right outside.

We went to this restaurant based on a recommendation. Our first impression was that it's a good place to meet people, and the food doesn't seem bad either. The waitress was friendly and came quickly to take our drink orders. Our food order was also handled well. The food we ordered looked great, but unfortunately, the enjoyment was divided. The ribs we ordered were excellent, but the burger turned out to be rather dry and overcooked. We mentioned this to the waitress, who immediately offered us a new burger. My better half, however, didn't want another one. It's a shame, because the first impression was unfortunately ruined by the burger. However, since the staff member was very attentive, for example, offering free drinks, we will give the restaurant another chance next time we visit.

Top service, top food, you can't complain

Was looking forward to trying this restaurant for a few days, but immediately upon walking in, the staff was SO rude! We walked in and saw a sign telling us to wait there to be seated, so we did. After a few minutes, the bartender acknowledged us and started talking to us over the bar, across other customers, in German. We weren't sure what he said (not a problem at all, we're English speakers in Germany!), but assumed he was asking us how many in our party. Since it was loud, he was far away, and we don't speak German, we held up two fingers to indicate that there were two of us. He immediately talks back to us (in English), saying "You're going to have to talk to me, I have ears!!". He then motioned to the bar and said that was our only option. Never gave us a wait time for a table. We decided to take our business elsewhere.

You can enjoy amazing burgers and drinks in a very nice atmosphere. There are really good vegetarian and vegan options as well. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

We came here every evening. The food was absolutely delicious. The staff is first-class. Our dog also had a great time. If we're ever in the area again, we'll definitely eat here again.

Very friendly people, super delicious food. The atmosphere is a bit chaotic. Behind the counter, it's been beautifully renovated, but the rest of the place is a bit dated, and the conservatory is also very nice again. The food was really, really delicious! However, I think the burger patty size is too much for many women. I had to leave some left over, and so did my daughter. Perhaps a choice of two different sizes would be interesting. However, you get value for your money. I would gladly come back.

Bungalow7 in Garmisch impresses with creative burger creations in a relaxed atmosphere. All the burgers we tried were very good – the quality of the ingredients and the juicy preparation were particularly noteworthy. The blue cheese version has a unique flavor and certainly won't appeal to everyone, but it's interesting for fans of bold flavors. The fries with Parmesan, garlic, and truffle mayo were a real highlight, as were the sweet potato fries. Overall, a worthwhile spot for burger lovers craving special side dishes.

Lunch at Bungalow 7 was absolutely amazing! The garlic parmesan fries are spectacular! Not too garlicky and excellent flavour. We both had burgers and fries, and the burger was huge! It was obvious the ingredients were fresh as this was a delicious meal.

We had a great time and would happily return. The food was generously portioned and very good. Only the fish in the fish and chips could have used a bit of salt in my opinion. The breading was very neutral, but the well-seasoned side dishes made it no problem. The outdoor area, both the terrace and the tables directly in front of the door, suffer a bit from the road running right past. The staff were attentive and friendly; we felt very welcome and comfortable.

The best burgers I've ever eaten. This is the quarter of times we've eaten here, and it's always a treat. This alone makes the seven-hour drive from North Rhine-Westphalia worth it. The service and wait times are top-notch, and the location is very attractive. Definitely not our last visit.

Today we ate at Bungalow7 and was unfortunately disappointed. I ordered a burger, which I had to return entirely because the patty was covered in threads of fat and had an extremely firm texture—not medium rare. It just wasn't my taste. As compensation, we both got an espresso, which was actually very good. However, we had to pay for the burger, even though we didn't like it. They gave us two espressos on the house. My boyfriend said his patty was okay, but he also noted that there are better burgers out there. Overall, we had a mixed experience—the staff were friendly, and the appetizer was tasty, but the burgers could really use some improvement. I hope this helps us improve.

This was our first time at Bungalow 7. What can I say? Parking right in front of the door, a super friendly welcome, and service. The food was very good! It was busy, but the staff always had a smile on their faces. We can recommend it to everyone. It's worth a visit! The price is the same as everywhere else. Considering what food, electricity, staff, and interior design costs these days, the price at Bungalow 7 is justified and acceptable.

Super nice staff, many thanks to Patrick.  Rarely have you seen someone who enjoys their job so much.  💜 We had a tarte flambée mare (with salmon and shrimp) and chicken wings with sweet potato fries and a sensational truffle mayo. We will definitely come back and make reservations too. Then we can stay longer. Top team, top cuisine.  Top food. Cool atmosphere.

Delicious burger restaurant, but a little expensive

The menu says that you can address any intolerances, but unfortunately it was ignored! I said I can't eat onions and emphasized again that this is really very important to me, unfortunately there were onions on it, but apparently collecting them didn't help either and there were more in the sauce or in the paddy, which meant that I had really bad problems all night and I'll still have some of it for the next few days. You shouldn't deal with intolerances like that because it can quickly go wrong or end up in the hospital, so it's no use if the employee then says he forgot to say it. But that wasn't all because the dessert came out wrong, so we definitely have to work on reliability here, we noticed similar problems at the neighboring tables. Judging by the conversations in the kitchen, it's really thick here too. Maybe we should take the pressure off a bit and focus more on harmony! It's not all about a fine restaurant, you have to deliver!

This place is an absolute gem! I’m definitely coming back the next time I’m in Garmisch. They’ve got amazing food options — whether you’re into veg, non-veg, or vegan, there’s something for everyone. Honestly, I never expected to find such a fantastic spot here! Their hot sauce deserves a special mention — super duper spicy, even for me as an Indian — and we loved it so much we bought a bottle to take home. The staff is super friendly, and parking is convenient too — just a 2-minute walk from the place. Highly recommend!

Warning: Do not go to this restaurant under any circumstances!!!! This was by far one of the worst restaurant visits ever. The prices (20-30€ per dish) are an absolute rip-off - for the cheapest ready-made food that simply tastes disgusting. The meat was tough like a car tire, absolutely inedible. The fries were so greasy, as if they had been drunk straight from the frying oil - inedible. You notice immediately: no effort is put into the kitchen here. And as if the bad taste wasn't enough, a few hours later I felt really sick. I struggled with stomach problems all evening. This “restaurant” is nothing more than a blatant tourist trap. Don't give this store a cent. Don't eat there. Save yourself the money and do yourself a favor – avoid this place completely! I actually wanted to give 0 stars - but unfortunately that's not possible. For me it was an absolute failure. Never again!

From the extremely friendly and courteous staff to the great food with an Alpine panorama... everything is just right here. We stopped by this wonderful American-style restaurant yesterday. We were given excellent advice on food and drink and enjoyed our meal very much. For starters we had sweet potato fries and buffalo chicken wings with a blue cheese dip. For the main course we chose a Caesar salad and the baby back spareribs from the local farmer. What can you say.... Incredibly delicious. Unfortunately we couldn't manage the portions and we enjoyed them again today. You definitely have to be hungry here. It's amazing how you can offer food of such quality, in this region, with this view, at such reasonable prices. Again at any time!

Everything we had was awesome! My burger was the best I have ever had outside of the United States. The fish and chips were great and my daughter really liked the chicken. I also loved the parmigiana fries. The brownie and ice cream are killer as well
