Bungalow 7 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Lunch at Bungalow 7 was absolutely amazing! The garlic parmesan fries are spectacular! Not too garlicky and excellent flavour. We both had burgers and fries, and the burger was huge! It was obvious the ingredients were fresh as this was a delicious meal.

We had a great time and would happily return. The food was generously portioned and very good. Only the fish in the fish and chips could have used a bit of salt in my opinion. The breading was very neutral, but the well-seasoned side dishes made it no problem. The outdoor area, both the terrace and the tables directly in front of the door, suffer a bit from the road running right past. The staff were attentive and friendly; we felt very welcome and comfortable.

We highly recommend Bungalow 7. Anyone on a (short) vacation in Garmisch should eat there at least once. Great service (special requests or, for example, small surprises for a birthday child are easily accommodated), super friendly, a simple yet perfect ambiance, and amazing food. The best burgers I've ever eaten. This is the quarter of times we've eaten here, and it's always a treat. This alone makes the seven-hour drive from North Rhine-Westphalia worth it. The service and wait times are top-notch, and the location is very attractive. Definitely not our last visit.

Outstanding, The food is really delicious, especially the daily burger, the restaurant vibes are really good, and the crew is very kind, friendly and helpful. I recommended to visit it. Better if you reserve a booking before coming.

Today we ate at Bungalow7 and was unfortunately disappointed. I ordered a burger, which I had to return entirely because the patty was covered in threads of fat and had an extremely firm texture—not medium rare. It just wasn't my taste. As compensation, we both got an espresso, which was actually very good. However, we had to pay for the burger, even though we didn't like it. They gave us two espressos on the house. My boyfriend said his patty was okay, but he also noted that there are better burgers out there. Overall, we had a mixed experience—the staff were friendly, and the appetizer was tasty, but the burgers could really use some improvement. I hope this helps us improve.

Truly a 10/10! Great service, pleasant atmosphere, and the food was exceptionally good! Both the tarte flambée and the burgers were truly delicious; we would go back again.

This was our first time at Bungalow 7. What can I say? Parking right in front of the door, a super friendly welcome, and service. The food was very good! It was busy, but the staff always had a smile on their faces. We can recommend it to everyone. It's worth a visit! The price is the same as everywhere else. Considering what food, electricity, staff, and interior design costs these days, the price at Bungalow 7 is justified and acceptable.

Great restaurant We were greeted so warmly even though we didn't have a reservation. Great kitchen, she knows her craft! Super nice staff, many thanks to Patrick.  Rarely have you seen someone who enjoys their job so much.  💜 We had a tarte flambée mare (with salmon and shrimp) and chicken wings with sweet potato fries and a sensational truffle mayo. We will definitely come back and make reservations too. Then we can stay longer. Top team, top cuisine.  Top food. Cool atmosphere.

Delicious burger restaurant, but a little expensive

The menu says that you can address any intolerances, but unfortunately it was ignored! I said I can't eat onions and emphasized again that this is really very important to me, unfortunately there were onions on it, but apparently collecting them didn't help either and there were more in the sauce or in the paddy, which meant that I had really bad problems all night and I'll still have some of it for the next few days. You shouldn't deal with intolerances like that because it can quickly go wrong or end up in the hospital, so it's no use if the employee then says he forgot to say it. But that wasn't all because the dessert came out wrong, so we definitely have to work on reliability here, we noticed similar problems at the neighboring tables. Judging by the conversations in the kitchen, it's really thick here too. Maybe we should take the pressure off a bit and focus more on harmony! It's not all about a fine restaurant, you have to deliver!

Food good, cleanliness leaves something to be desired

The service was great (although we had to wait long, but everyone was very friendly), the food was, in my opinion, a bit average. Way too much sauce in the salad.

This place is an absolute gem! I’m definitely coming back the next time I’m in Garmisch. They’ve got amazing food options — whether you’re into veg, non-veg, or vegan, there’s something for everyone. Honestly, I never expected to find such a fantastic spot here! Their hot sauce deserves a special mention — super duper spicy, even for me as an Indian — and we loved it so much we bought a bottle to take home. The staff is super friendly, and parking is convenient too — just a 2-minute walk from the place. Highly recommend!

Warning: Do not go to this restaurant under any circumstances!!!! This was by far one of the worst restaurant visits ever. The prices (20-30€ per dish) are an absolute rip-off - for the cheapest ready-made food that simply tastes disgusting. The meat was tough like a car tire, absolutely inedible. The fries were so greasy, as if they had been drunk straight from the frying oil - inedible. You notice immediately: no effort is put into the kitchen here. And as if the bad taste wasn't enough, a few hours later I felt really sick. I struggled with stomach problems all evening. This “restaurant” is nothing more than a blatant tourist trap. Don't give this store a cent. Don't eat there. Save yourself the money and do yourself a favor – avoid this place completely! I actually wanted to give 0 stars - but unfortunately that's not possible. For me it was an absolute failure. Never again!

Very comfortable atmosphere with a uniquely friendly service. I was also recommended the daily burger which was simply fantastic. My wife took tarte flambée with it and it was also convincing. There's also relaxed music playing for everyone and basketball on the TV👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻

From the extremely friendly and courteous staff to the great food with an Alpine panorama... everything is just right here. We stopped by this wonderful American-style restaurant yesterday. We were given excellent advice on food and drink and enjoyed our meal very much. For starters we had sweet potato fries and buffalo chicken wings with a blue cheese dip. For the main course we chose a Caesar salad and the baby back spareribs from the local farmer. What can you say.... Incredibly delicious. Unfortunately we couldn't manage the portions and we enjoyed them again today. You definitely have to be hungry here. It's amazing how you can offer food of such quality, in this region, with this view, at such reasonable prices. Again at any time!

Clear recommendation... Everything tasted great. Short waiting time despite the full restaurant. Service more than friendly and accommodating. A reunion is assured. Ganh big praise to all employees. Strength performance. 5 out of 5 stars.

Everything we had was awesome! My burger was the best I have ever had outside of the United States. The fish and chips were great and my daughter really liked the chicken. I also loved the parmigiana fries. The brownie and ice cream are killer as well

This was a fun place to visit. We are from Utah and are visiting for the fist time. Large portions on the food, all really good.

Had the falafel burger. Unfortunately these were very dry. I'm not even sure there was any sauce on it. When you asked if you could get more sauce, you were charged for it afterwards. I didn't ask for a dip here, just what should have been on the burger anyway. In addition, my partner's request to serve the burger without pickles was not taken into account. When he criticized this, it was claimed that he had not said this before. "Yes!", "no!", "yes!", "no!" Just silly and leads to nothing. Except that you definitely won't come here again. It was also claimed that there were no pickles on the burgers anyway. All 4 of us had the same one and there were cucumbers on each one.

Super nice team and great advice regarding allergies. We immediately felt comfortable. The food was really tasty. Our dog was praised for lying so calmly in the corner and water was brought to him. If we are in the area again, we will eat here again.

Very, very tasty and very nice and friendly service. There were gluten-free burgers and the sweet potato fries are also gluten-free, but the other fries are not. We were thrilled. Surcharge for gluten-free burger 2 EUR absolutely OK.

The burger of the day was very tasty, but the fries - both the parmesan + garlic and the normal ones - tasted okay, but were in the deep fryer for far too long. Therefore, these had more of the consistency of chips than fries. I wasn't the only one who had this feeling, as the people I was eating with also didn't eat their fries because they were just way too hard. Maybe that's the intention, but we didn't particularly like it.

A very groovy place in a tiny town in the south of Germany. The atmosphere is really nice, the staff is friendly and a happening place. I had ordered a vegetarian burger, vegetarian Flammekueche and Sweet potato fries. The burger was really tasty and the sweet potato fries were really delicious. The Flammekueche was pretty average. Also one thing to mention that caught my attention: There was a freshen up kit in the bathroom and that was one of the best things I have seen. It's a ski town, so having this is a huge blessing.

Very good food and friendly staff. Worth the visit if you are ever in Garmisch.

This place has quick service, good burgers, and even better chicken wings! The guy working behind the bar even made the delicious hot sauce they sell, and sold me a bottle. This place is definitely worth visiting when you're in town.

We wanted to have three dishes delivered to our house this evening. The menu looked pretty good and the restaurant also made a good impression as you walked past. When we called we were asked if we wanted to eat there or come pick it up. When we answered that we were coming to pick it up, we were asked how many dishes there would be. We said three! After a quick query from the service staff in the kitchen, we were told: I'm sorry, we can't do it! Too bad!!! And unfortunately a waste of time for us!

Cozy and fun atmosphere and excellent food. A flatbread and Caesar salad, plus several beers of course, hit the spot for us as we overcame our jet lag. The service was incredible - you can tell it’s a happy team of good people. Don’t fail to make a reservation - there isn’t always room for walk-ins!

Pleasant atmosphere, great service and gluten-free food! My partner and I found a restaurant in Bungalow 7 in which a feel-good atmosphere was created right from the start thanks to the friendly treatment of the guests and the staff's attention to needs. We had a gluten-free burger (gf buns and side dishes selected in coordination with our waitress!!!) and spare ribs. The food was excellent. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back!

Chose this institution based on Google's recommendations! We were satisfied! Tasty and varied burgers and salads, beer and atmosphere, service and staff, all at a high level, like all of Bavaria, like all of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, all of Hochd level! I recommend a visit, especially when you have come from a vacation in the mountains and on the lake! This establishment supported my Hochd mood and Hochd level of happiness! (I advise you to take a burger and a Caesar with it) (I wanted to leave great photos, but for some reason Google did not allow it)

We went to Bungalow 7 for the first time today and ate fish n chips. The food was top. The employees are super friendly and the service was very good. The music was awesome.

Outstanding food, great atmosphere. Loved every minute of my stay here. The food was delicious... for my English speakers they do speak English here. I highly recommend if you want a break from the more traditional German food.

This place is great! We showed up early around 5 pm since we didn't have a reservation, and they were booked after 630. The young lady who served us was so kind and honestly it was the best service we had on our 2 week trip to Germany. The food was delish, the drinks amazing! The setting was so cute and cozy on a cold evening. We loved it and highly recommend everyone go!

We came here as four vegetarians and left very satisfied. We got two types of veggie burgers (Baltic and mushroom) with the vegetarian patty and honestly, both were among the best veggie burgers we’ve had in the last few years, which is pretty high praise coming from a family of all vegetarians. Sweet potato fries were also very good. Would definitely recommend. Bravo!

Positives - great atmosphere, friendly service, comfortable seating, solid vibes all around. Great burger as well. Only downside was the ribs were low quality across all metrics. You can see from the pics the coloration of the meat; could’ve used more love than being warmed up in the oven. Other than that, really chill spot.

Loved the vibe, we went in the evening it was already busy but we got some seats at the bar. The food was amazing and the staff very lovely. The toilets were clean and I loved the fact they offered hairspray/hand cream and deodorant to use. 10/10 recommended and will be back once I got to this region again.

Went there for dinner after a trip to the Zugspitze. What can I say, the service was very quick and friendly, the food was excellent and prepared relatively quickly. The atmosphere was super pleasant. We were completely satisfied and if it weren't for the 300 km journey we would like to come back.

Really great burgers, I'd especially recommend the Mighty Mushroom (put the pickles inside) or the Canadian. The garlic parmesan fries were okay but a bit too crunchy for my liking. Nice welcoming atmosphere and most of the staff were quite friendly, but our server made a rude remark to one of us when he forgot one of the sides was included with the burger which we really didn't appreciate (hence 3 stars there). Overall an enjoyable experience!

The food was very good, the price was right, the waiter (boy) who served us was very pleasant. However, I give 3 stars for the attention of the brunette waitress with a ponytail and glasses who sat us on the terrace, her attention was very poor and arrogant. For my part, even if the food was good, I will not return.
