Great Italian restaurant! They even have gluten-free pizza on request. Both the gluten-free pizza and the regular pizzas were great!

A great Italian restaurant! The food was excellent, fresh and authentic. The boss was incredibly nice and had a great sense of humor, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The cozy atmosphere with the warm stove created the perfect feel-good ambience. We'd love to come back!

Fantastic experience, the owner was very entertaining and welcomed us like family. They are super friendly and made sure we were very taken care of!! Will definitely visit again when possible!

Best pizza in town! The crust is always perfect, and they load up on fresh veggies, which is a big plus for us as vegetarians. Honestly, we don’t even need to try other pizzas because we’re convinced this place has the best. The atmosphere is always welcoming, and the staff are some of the friendliest people you’ll meet. So it's hard to say. I really don't have that high of expectations. But the service was really bad. We came in at 7 p.m. as the first guests and were looked at like ghosts by the Italian waitress. You already felt uncomfortable. Ordering and eating was good. After the food was delivered we were no longer noticed. No asking if you want anything else. Until it was time to pay, of course only after being asked, no attention was paid. Told the boss too. The restaurant was only half full. Therefore, I do not recommend the restaurant.

What a great place. Food was amazing. We walked in as a group of 13. No reservations and the owner was able to accommodate all of us. It felt like eating an authentic Italian pizza but in Germany. Thanks Mr. Paolo for entertaining us during our visit. We had a great time.

12/26/2024. I visited Paolo with my family. Without exaggeration, this is the best food in Garmisch. Pizza, soups, pasta, desserts - better than in Italy, and we have been there more than once) The owner is very hospitable. Son, a worthy continuation of his father. Special thanks to him. In general, this is a super place with very affordable prices. If there were a little more advertising, it would be impossible to spontaneously come and eat there. Paolo, thank you very much!

Fantastic ambience, fantastic food with fantastic views and a fantastic host. We had vegetable lasagna and lasagna bolognese, and it reminded us of our time in Italy. The owner is warm and generous and we were also given some Italian wine, on the house.

We had the best pizza bread I've ever eaten with the seafood salad, and the lasagne was also very good, but unfortunately the place has an atmosphere like a canteen. The cobwebs in the toilet could also be removed

The shop was actually closed, but the shop was opened especially for us because we were so hungry. The owner was so friendly and accommodating and made us wonderful food!! Thanks !!

After bouldering we spontaneously went to the pizzeria and were immediately greeted in a very friendly manner by the boss Paolo. I was very happy that as a vegan I could easily get a pizza without cheese with lots of vegetables here. We had a very nice evening and would love to come back! Price performance is also great!

Great little pizzeria off the tennis court.

We enjoyed it, felt welcome and well served. Our daughter was greeted very nicely with a lollipop as she left. The only small point of criticism is that the outside of the salt and pepper shakers would have to be cleaned. But since I don't know whether only ours were a bit worn, I don't want to deduct a whole star, maybe the others were clean.

I can't understand the good reviews here. So either we had a super bad day or the reviews are bought. At the beginning the waiter was really attentive and served us straight away, the boss was just sitting at the table and was on his cell phone and bossing his employees around. A little later a large group arrived (seemed to be a club), after which we were completely ignored. All that was taken care of was the table, even though we were the only table occupied next to the group. The boss and the waiter walked past several times, looked us in the eyes, but didn't come to the table. We sat at the table for 3/4 hour and wanted to pay. The pizza was really bad, the dough wasn't fresh dough, the pizza had hardly any toppings and was super greasy, so that the fat just ran down. Unfortunately I can't say anything positive here!

The atmosphere was very good, the pizza was just perfect and the food tasted so good! One of the best pizzas in Garmisch, very good prices, it's a shame that so few people know about it. Definitely more than 5 stars!

Paolo hosted our pre-wedding dinner for the entire family. He and all staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, and it was the perfect start to our wedding weekend. If you come to this restaurant, you'll immediately recognize the great atmosphere, and everybody loved the food, too! I can't thank you enough, Paolo, for making this evening so special for us!

Ordered the lasagna and the scampi alla griglia. I must say the portion for the scampi alla griglia was huge, my partner and I couldn’t finish it. The scampi fell slightly short of expectations as not all the scampi was cooked consistently (the ones with the shell were fantastic and fresh but the rest seem frozen). But the overall experience was still great 😄

Yesterday we went to play tennis, after which we had a really perfect beer at Paolo's and the food on offer also looked delicious. We'll definitely come back more often in the future. Best regards, Martin/Bati

I can't understand the rating of Ruby Foxsite in any way, we were always warmly welcomed and well looked after. The food is very tasty and plentiful, and the price/performance ratio is great. We are already looking forward to the next visit.

Pizzeria da Paolo in Garmisch is everything you want in a pizza spot. The pizza? Thin, crispy, and cooked to perfection—exactly how it should be. The lasagna? Rich, full of flavor, and exactly the comfort food you’re craving after a long day. What really sets this place apart, though, is the people. The staff are friendly and genuine, treating you like an old friend. And don’t worry about parking—there’s a convenient lot right outside, so no stress there either. It’s one of those places where great food and warm vibes come together, making it easy to come back again and again.

We ordered 4 pizzas to take away and were absolutely happy with the choice. The pizzas were all extremely tasty and it is rare to experience such kind and courteous service. I would definitely order there again or eat there again and can definitely recommend the restaurant with a clear conscience :)

We would have liked to agree with the good reviews. Unfortunately we were taught otherwise. When we entered, the restaurant was empty inside, but there were a few tables occupied on the terrace. The service worker saw us coming - and ran away; no greeting, no hello. Waiting in front of the counter in the restaurant. An employee comes in, towards us, past us, puts menus in a stand, walks behind the counter, not a word of greeting, just nothing. Apparently we are either invisible, don't correspond to the expected clientele or you just don't feel like it. Leaving us standing there, we set off from Dannen. Just crazy, unbelievable, really outrageous and unfriendly behavior. It really doesn't work! This turns a beautiful evening into a modest experience.

Were here for a hike and came across this pizzeria. Super great food, everyone was absolutely thrilled! Whether pizza or pasta, perfect! :) And also a super nice boss! If we come back to Garmisch Partenkirchen, we want to go back! Here's a picture of the current menu

We know the restaurant from our last vacation and were there again yesterday. We weren't disappointed this time either. The pizza was super tasty, all special requests were taken into account and the price-performance ratio was just right. Good option for the most crowded and expensive restaurants in the city center.

Unfortunately, we can't understand why this location even got stars! The food was almost unseasoned and the host was totally out of sorts and extremely irritable because of a football game! The young waiter tried to save the situation a little. But when we (14 people) still had to calculate our bill ourselves, it was enough. It's good that we all had a good day and that didn't spoil our mood! So definitely not recommended!
