Pizzeria - Da Paolo in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Wenn alle Gastronomen so arbeiten würden wie Paolo, wären Restaurants wieder voll: gute Ware statt Convenience-Food, Kochen mit Liebe statt Erwärmen und echte Leidenschaft für die Gäste. Ein Juwel am Tennisplatz!

Furchtbar und arrogant. Ich glaube, es war der Besitzer. Esst die Pizza nicht! Der Fisch auf der Pizza war nicht frisch.

Wir hatten Lasagne und Quattro Stagioni Pizza. Das Essen war köstlich und die Bedienung hervorragend! Ich kann das Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen. Auch der Wein war ausgezeichnet!

Tolle Stimmung, sehr italienisch und unkompliziert!

Es war so gut, dass wir gleich zweimal dort waren! Wir haben Pizza und Pasta bestellt. Alles war super: Die Pizza und die Pasta waren geschmackvoll, die Pasta perfekt gekocht und der Pizzaboden einfach fantastisch. Auch die Getränke waren toll. Am besten hat uns aber das freundliche und herzliche Personal gefallen.

Ich kann leider die guten Rezessionen nicht nachvollziehen! Mies gelauntes Service Personal, es hat hier nicht mal für ein Hallo zur Begrüßung gereicht. Essen durchschnittlich. Der Laden könnte sicher besser laufen sofern man freundlicher zu seinen Gästen wäre..., schade...

Charmant und rustikaler Laden im Vereinsheim. Haben uns schnell Pizza und Thunfischsalat rausgeholt und beides hat super lecker geschmeckt! Bisschen frisches Knoblauchöl dazu war perfekt!!!

Das Restaurant liegt direkt an einer Tennisanlage, so dass man den Tennisspielern zuschauen kann. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis war auch gut. Wir haben uns Salat bestellt und eine riesen Schüssel bekommen. Die Vorspeise haben wir von dem Gastgeber Paolo ausgegeben bekommen, weil uns diese nicht bekannt war. Paolo ist ein sehr freundlicher und lustiger Gastgeber. Wir haben viel mit ihm und den Stammgästen gelacht. Es war eine sehr tolle Atmosphäre.

Ein herausragendes Erlebnis in der Pizzeria Da Paolo Wir haben die Pizzeria Da Paolo während unseres sechstägigen Aufenthalts dreimal besucht – das spricht für sich! Das Ambiente ist wunderbar, mit einer herrlichen Aussicht und einer herzlichen, einladenden Atmosphäre. Die Mitarbeiter waren freundlich und aufmerksam, und Paolo selbst war bei jedem Besuch anwesend. Er sorgte dafür, dass wir uns als Familie mit zehn Personen sofort wohlfühlten und bot stets einen schnellen und erstklassigen Service. Das Essen war absolut köstlich. Ich hatte die Lasagne, die Pizza mit Schinken und Salami sowie die Pizza Italia. Jedes Gericht war exzellent und bot Aromen, die ich in der italienischen Küche noch nie zuvor erlebt hatte – im besten Sinne des Wortes. Alles war frisch, geschmackvoll und offensichtlich mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Paolo empfahl uns außerdem einen fantastischen Wein, der perfekt zu unserem Essen passte. Seine Gastfreundschaft und sein Blick fürs Detail machten jeden Besuch zu einem unvergesslichen Erlebnis. Wenn Sie in der Gegend sind, kann ich die Pizzeria Da Paolo wärmstens empfehlen. Wir haben uns auf dem Heimweg von unserer Wanderung zwei Pizzen zum mitnehmen geholt. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Die Pizzen waren sehr lecker und er hat uns sogar noch zwei Stücke Kuchen geschenkt.

Probieren Sie unbedingt das Ayinger-Bier, es ist sehr lecker. Die Pizza ist auch sehr gut, mit einem dünnen und knusprigen Teig. Der Kellner war nicht besonders freundlich, aber auch nicht unhöflich. Er lächelte nicht.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Sterne Einfach sensationell! Die Pizzeria Da Paolo gehört mit Abstand zu den besten Italienern, bei denen wir je gegessen haben. Die Scampis waren ein absoluter Traum – perfekt auf den Punkt gegart und voller Geschmack. Die Carbonara war herausragend und hat uns komplett umgehauen. Auch die Pizza war überragend: knuspriger Boden, hochwertige Zutaten und geschmacklich einfach auf einem anderen Niveau. Das Vitello Tonnato war ebenfalls Spitzenklasse – unglaublich zart und perfekt abgestimmt. Hier merkt man sofort, dass mit Leidenschaft und hochwertigen Produkten gearbeitet wird. Jeder einzelne Teller war ein Volltreffer. Wer noch nicht bei Da Paolo war, verpasst wirklich etwas. Für uns eine glasklare 11 von 10 – wir würden am liebsten sofort wiederkommen! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐🍕🇮🇹🔥

Ein wunderbares Erlebnis! Die Lasagne und die Spinatpizza waren perfekt. Wir bestellten dazu einen Primitivo, der hervorragend dazu passte. Die Aussicht war traumhaft und der Service erstklassig. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Die Pizza war nicht ausreichend gebacken, die Zwiebeln in der Bolognese waren nicht richtig angebraten. Insgesamt verdient das einfach keine bessere Bewertung als 1.

Die Pizzeria können wir nur von Herzen empfehlen. Wir waren heute hier essen und der Service sowie das Essen war sehr gut. Der Besitzer war sehr freundlich zu seinen Gästen und wir kommen gerne das nächste Mal wieder vorbei. Liebe Grüße Becci & Calli

Schreckliche Pizza, ein Klebstoff

Absolut köstliches italienisches Essen in Garmisch! Unsere Familie hat das Essen mit unserem Baby und Kleinkind sehr genossen – tolle Empfehlungen und freundliches Personal!

Das Essen ist sehr gut. Der Chef und sein Personal sind sehr nett und aufmerksam. Werden wir wieder hingehen.

Wir waren die letzten Tage hier, und ich muss wirklich sagen das Essen war einfach super. Die Pizza war sehr gut. Paolo der Besitzer ist hier anscheinend ziemlich bekannt für seine Pizza und war wirklich sehr freundlich zu uns. Wir kommen aufjedenfall öfter hier her !

Paolo ist noch ein Original Italiener mit Charme, macht tolles Essen und Alessia eine fantastische Lasagne!

Sehr freundlicher Chef der eine Laune und Freude am Leben der Superlative hat. Am Ende noch mit ihm 2 Halbe getrunken und danach zurück auf den Campingplatz mir der Bahn gefahren. Service, Essen und Gastfreundschaft sehr stark zum empfehlen.

Extrem gutes Essen, Sehr nette Bedienung und ein guter Musikgeschmack

Gute Preise für reichlich Essen nach einem Tag auf der Piste. Vom Parkplatz aus ist es ein schöner Spaziergang, falls man vor der Heimfahrt noch etwas nüchtern werden möchte. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und humorvoll.

Fröhlich, typisch italienisch , lecker - sehr empfehlenswert- wir werden sicher wieder dort einkehren.

Food was great and ready quick. The antipasto was huge and the vegetable pizza was a sleeper hit with our group! Good people making good quality food.

We had just gotten into town a little later in the day on a Sunday and there were very few options. We decided to get take away for our group of six starving people. Three pizzas, antipasto platter, and dessert fed everyone with left overs! Even though we only popped in to pick up our order, the staff were so kind and funny. Already a memorable dinner for our group when we were expecting just a simple quick meal. Recommend the vegetable pizza, the diavolo and definitely the antipasto! I’ve never had an antipasto so full of delicious meats, they are so generous!

We ordered the spaghetti aglio-olio and bolognese. Both were overcooked and tasteless. A guy in the kitchen was singing loudly and off-key the whole time, which was very annoying.

A great place to eat after a day’s skiing, friendly welcoming atmosphere and most importantly good Italian food. It’s not expensive plenty of variety in their pizza options and the usual pasta dishes. In the evening there is plenty of free car parking.

Paolo is a fantastic host. I had to cut my ski tour short due to circulatory problems and happened to stumble upon Paolo's pizzeria. The food and service were excellent, and Paolo even brought me tea and offered me magnesium to help me feel better! Highly recommended!

Off the beaten path a bit, but good food. Salad, pizza, and dessert were enough for two of us to share.

We visited this pizzeria on January 4th after an intense day of skiing. We stopped by on a whim, simply to wait out the traffic jam leaving the Hausberg parking area. From the outside, the building didn’t look particularly special – a typical clubhouse style. The interior was rather minimalist as well, yet cozy. A burning fireplace filled the space with pleasant warmth and that unmistakable mountain cabin aroma. But a restaurant is about much more than just appearances, right? There were four of us. We ordered the daily lasagna and three pizzas: Quattro Formaggi, Pizza Italia with Parma ham and arugula (rucola), and a third pizza that wasn’t even listed on the menu. Our son loved its picture in the menu booklet, and the owner kindly agreed to prepare it especially for him – a Caprese pizza. The lasagna came straight from the oven, piping hot, with a delicate and beautifully balanced flavor. I enjoyed every single bite from the first to the last. When the pizzas arrived, I initially thought I would end up finishing part of our 12-year-old son’s portion – the pizza looked quite ambitious for a boy his age. But it was so delicious that he refused to share and finished it entirely on his own, without any help. I tasted my daughter’s Quattro Formaggi and my wife’s pizza Italia, and I can honestly say this: in my 53 years, I have eaten or tasted countless pizzas across Europe and around the world – first and foremost in Italy itself: Milan, Rome, Verona, Sorrento, Desenzano del Garda, Malcesine, Sirmione, Sicily (Palermo, Balestrate, Trapani, Erice), Capri, and of course the famous Marinara at L’Antica Pizzeria Da Michele in Naples. I say this with full responsibility and without any intention of offending Italian pizza masters: I have never tasted a better pizza base than at Da Paolo. Crispy, with a subtle yeast aroma and perfectly balanced flavor – truly exceptional. On the Quattro Formaggi, all four cheeses were clearly distinguishable: elastic and mild mozzarella; a nutty Emmental-like cheese (possibly Gruyère, though to me it leaned closer to Emmental); deeply flavorful Parmigiano Reggiano; and a pleasantly sharp yet well-balanced Gorgonzola. A true celebration of cheese. My wife’s choice was, in my opinion, somewhat risky, as Parma ham can easily ruin a pizza if it is too tough, overly salty, or poorly sliced. That was absolutely not the case here. The delicate, thinly sliced ham, generously topped with fresh arugula, melted in the mouth and paired beautifully with the subtle flavor of the pizza base. Just one word: PERFECT. The service was excellent. The owner was very attentive, friendly, and managed to create the atmosphere of a warm, welcoming, relaxed, and slightly crazy Italian tavern right at the foot of Germany’s highest mountain. We left with full stomachs and incredibly happy, having discovered a true culinary and cultural gem. Highly recommended. 🇮🇹🍕

I stopped by to grab a couple of pizzas to go. The owner came and ushered us in, sat us down, and treated us with true Italian hospitality while we waited. Highly recommend, great pizza, wonderful folks.

I don't understand why all these good reviews are there. It's really not appropriate with a restaurant sign. We ate a raw, rubbery pizza. Glasses stained with lipstick. My wife and I were really sick that night with diarrhea. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Dirty and zero hygiene. The owner, I assume, is the little old man. Very arrogant. Don't go, you'll be sick.

An off the beaten path gem of a pizzeria! The brick oven pizza and the lasagna are amazing- perhaps the best in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. Paolo and his staff are warm, welcoming, humorous and genuine. The prices are more than reasonable.

Nice restaurant and very friendly owner. The food is traditional Italian. Be careful what you say when ordering pizza, no corn on the pizza! Everything tasted great. Prices are reasonable; we paid just under €100 for five people and were all completely full.

The food was amazing! Great flavor and made fresh! The service from the staff was super great! Being clumsy as I am, I broke a beer glass. They were on it! Put together a new order of lasagna and beer with no time wasted. Thank you again for a great meal and such great service!

We've eaten at Paolo's several times and are very satisfied. It has a great terrace and for my husband, who has gluten intolerance, there's great gluten-free pizza and pasta.

Based on the good reviews, I visited this pizzeria on my vacation. I didn't find the ambiance that great, and the service wasn't great either. The disappointing pizza arrived quickly, but I found the toppings rather meager, and it was also very soggy in the middle. I didn't ask if it tasted good or anything; no one seemed to care about me after it was served. The best part was the younger female server, who walked past my table several times without saying a word and stared at me each time as if she were about to eat me. Wonderful :D :D I still gave a €1 tip, which apparently wasn't enough, since the manager returned the remaining amount to me, noticeably pissed off. I can't understand how all the praise in these reviews comes from.

Wonderful pizzeria with a cozy and friendly vibe. The pizzas were excellent - authentic Italian taste with a crispy base and generous toppings. On top of that, the view from the dining area makes the whole experience even better. Perfect place for a relaxed evening with family or friends.
