The best pizza I've ever eaten and the staff was top 10/11, everyone was friendly and nice to us and everything tasted great, the best restaurant we've been to was the Pizzeria Colosseo. And the best thing was, you have one of the most beautiful views of everything, the most beautiful view of the Zugspitze and the mountains. I'm looking forward to going back to Garmisch-Partenkirchen and visiting the Pizzeria Colosseo again to enjoy the best food ever. I recommend the best pizzeria where you'll eat the best pizza and drink the best homemade juices and the best dessert is the best panna cotta.🍕🇮🇹Grazie Pizzeria Colosseo🫶🏻❤️🏞️🍹🍧

We tried online ordering with delivery for the first time today – everything worked perfectly. The selection was extensive, the ordering process was simple, and payment was hassle-free. What was particularly pleasing was that the requested delivery time was met exactly. The pizza was not only hot and fresh, but also pleasantly light – not at all oily!

We ordered pizza, so I can't comment on the service or ambiance, but the pizza was really not good! It was undercooked and far too underseasoned. The pasta with salmon was very dry, and the salad had very little dressing.

Whenever we're in Garmisch, this is our first choice for delicious Italian food. Lovely restaurant. Fast service.

We ordered a pizza for pickup, but unfortunately we had to wait over 30 minutes for it to arrive. We were seated at a table and ignored for 30 minutes, with no explanation or apology until the pizza was finally handed to us with a mumbled "sorry." Unfortunately, the pizza was quite tough, and both the dough and tomato sauce had no flavor. I understand that things can go wrong on a stressful day. However, what happened here is still not acceptable. If the place is on fire, they might have to deactivate pickup orders in the future.

Perfect delivery service. I parked my motorhome at the Olympic ski jump. Everything worked without a hitch. The pizzas were delicious.

I ordered the *Spaghetti Trapanese* at the Colosseo in Garmisch – and honestly, I've rarely had such tasteless and unloving food. Where was the basil? Two sad, wilted-looking leaves – that was it. The garlic? None. No flavor, no bite, nothing. The tomatoes? Watery, bland, almost disgusting. And the pasta? *Drenched* in oil. Not a splash, not "lightly seared" – no, it was swimming in oil, as if someone had tried to deglaze the dish with it. Flavor-wise, the whole thing was a complete failure. I had to add salt, pepper, and extra basil myself to even taste anything on my plate. And all of this for €12.50? A disgrace. I'm not picky, but this was just bad. Anyone who serves such carelessly thrown-together pasta mush should really consider offering only pizza on the menu. If I could, I would give zero stars.

The fairly large restaurant on the first floor can be reached via the outside staircase or the elevator. The menu is extensive, and guests receive prompt and friendly service. The portions of the freshly prepared dishes are very generous.

We were traveling in GAP and by chance came across this great Italian restaurant on the 1st floor. You have a great view from the terrace. At lunchtime there are reduced prices if you order a drink with it. Portions were more than sufficient and very tasty! Service was attentive. You have to pay for parking on the street.

A solid 5/5 stars restaurant Big portions, tasty pastas, great soups and prices are fair. The staff are nice and speaks great English. Much recommended!

A colleague who lived in Garmisch raved about this place. Being so close to the Italian border, Garmisch has excellent Italian food. I stopped by Colosseo when they opened and was able to make a reservation for our group of 13 for later that evening. We had a great table and a wonderful view of the mountains. The pasta and pizza were excellent. I had the primavera which is served over handmade pasta. I could have happily eaten there every night, particularly as a vegetarian who struggled to find good options at the Bavarian restaurants in town.

Modernes italienisches Restaurant mit riesiger Speisekarte. Besonders toll fand ich die offene Pizzaküche, wo ich genau reinschauen konnte beim Essen.Ich hatte eine Lasagne und die war super lecker. Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich.

The pizza itself was really good – fairly priced and a nice, decent portion. The service was rather manageable, and the store overall seems a bit old. Wow, this place is more delicious and more Italian than we expected for an unassuming neighborhood restaurant.

We were a nice group of 35 people, served quickly and with a smile. Good and plentiful food. The pizzas are worth it, but the pasta and seafood are also very respectable. Adequate price.

Food excellent again as always. Large portions that taste very good. We have been coming for years and are always very satisfied. Different from other Italian restaurants because some dishes and desserts are only available here.

Very poor food, we had 2 pizzas and spaghetti. The daughter praised the spaghetti with tomato sauce. We had pizza that was completely dry, burnt, could not be cut, it was like the sole of a shoe. I really don't recommend this, not even by chance.

Fast delivery, even over various "obstacles". Large selection (even too large for those who are undecided ;)), fresh products, simply delicious food. Absolute recommendation! I will definitely pay a visit to the Colosseo in the restaurant on site.

First of all, I can't rate the ambience of the restaurant. Only telephone contact and delivery service. We ordered there today for the second time this week: a western burger with a mixed salad. The food was delivered very quickly and was also very tasty. The driver was friendly. What more could you want? We can confidently recommend the delivery service 😋

This is a top Italien Restaurant in Garmisch. Excellence in every way including very friendly staff, ambience and of course a Great Menu selection and my Spaghetti with garlic King prawns was cooles to perfection. I would highly recommend this Restaurant.

We stayed in Garmish Parten-Kirchen for one week in December before Christmas. We ate in Colosseo twice and liked it very much. The pizzas and calzones were fresh and delicious. We found the service very friendly as well. The prices were good because the quality was very good.

Ordered here for delivery. Should take about 45 minutes. After many attempts to ask by phone, the food arrived after about 2 hours. Unfortunately it was only lukewarm. It was tasty in itself, probably better hot. We would have liked the portion size to be a little larger for the price. Maybe it's better locally.

I was a very big fan of this place, but the food isn't nearly as good as it was 2 years ago. Quality, portions and price/performance have decreased significantly. Unfortunately I find it really, really sad. I hope you notice that and can change that.

Colosseo Pizzeria isn’t just one of my favorite Italian restaurants in Garmisch - it’s one of my favorite restaurants and when visiting Garmisch, I’m here at least every other time I dine out. Located in the heart of town, this restaurant offers an extensive menu, far beyond their great pizzas. All the pasta dishes are awesome. They have a range of vegetarian dishes as well as well as meat and seafood dinners. They have a wine selection is great and it’s hard to resist the desserts. Best of all, the service is consistently the best - all of the servers have very engaging personalities, and I love the atmosphere. You’ll love the dining experience here.

Nice ambience and a friendly staff but the food was pretty okay to average. The pesto pasta with penne that we tried was not that great, the sauce was very watery and had very less taste of pesto in general. The tiramisu was also overly sweet and the proportion of mascorpone cheese and sponge could have been in a better balance.

Ogni volta che andiamo a Garmisch pranziamo in questo ristorante, che ormai conosciamo da tempo: a due passi dal centro, ha sempre conservato nel tempo ottime qualità di cibo, servizio, e prezzo. Il personale, cuoco e pizzaiolo compresi, sono tutti italiani, e già questo è una garanzia. Il fatto poi che si possa parlare italiano facilita molto il turista come me che non ha dimestichezza con la lingua tedesca. Tutto il personale è estremamente cordiale e gentile. Piatti italiani, spaghetti al dente gustosissimi, pizza eccezionale, sottile e croccante al punto giusto, carne ottima, tutto davvero buono. Il prezzo, più che giusto, non è nemmeno paragonabile a quanto spendiamo in Italia, dove ormai abbiamo raggiunto livelli troppo alti. Ho anche notato una buona pulizia, specie nei bagni. Vivamente consigliato!!!!!!

A very fast and friendly staff. Eating didn't take long and it tasted great. Can only be recommended! But you should reserve well in advance, otherwise you may not get any more space. The restaurant is very popular because everything fits.

Beautiful restaurant with extremely friendly staff (who also fulfill special requests) and exceptionally good food! The pizzas are really good, as is the pasta. Overall, there is a very large selection of pizza and pasta, including a few rare types of pasta that you won't find on every menu! Happy to come back!

The food was ok, but we wouldn't have to go there again. The Lambrusco was served elegantly, but according to research it cost 5 times more than on the internet.. that's really an exaggeration, in terms of taste it was more like sparkling water. The staff was friendly.

From a chef's perspective, this was a really sad meal. The Tomsten soup was nothing more than pureed peeled tomatoes from a can with far too much broth powder and otherwise you would look for other herbs or binding the soup in vain. (actually ironic because obviously there was fresh basil available as decoration) The bruschetta was just tasteless. Tomatoes bathed in oil on a grease-soaked bread.....Absolutely lacking in taste. The poor quality Parmesan cheese thrown on top didn't make it any better. The pizza and calzone that we had afterward had a tough dough that wasn't crispy in any way but was well burned. We looked in vain for the supposed ham in our calzone. All in all, you can see and taste that savings are being made at every turn when it comes to the food you buy and that lower quality usually has a bad effect on the taste. A very unsatisfactory experience for us and therefore no recommendations.

Authentic Italian right in the heart of Garmisch. After about 10 straight days of German food we were looking for a change. This place hit the spot. Pasta and pizza were all amazing!

We are regular visitors to Colosseo and always have a wonderful meal. This time we tried the pumpkin and prosciutto risotto and cheese burger and both meals were excellent. The restaurant was very busy but the service was excellent and we love the ambience.

Upon arriving, the waiter informed me that only indoor seating was available, but his attitude felt dismissive and unwelcoming. Despite this, I politely declined and said I wouldn’t stay. To my surprise, another waiter approached me, asking why I didn’t want to eat there. I explained that I had preferred outdoor seating, but was told it wasn’t available. This was confusing since I had checked the restaurant beforehand and saw there was outdoor seating. Unfortunately, the lack of clear communication and the overall service left me disappointed.”

Food is okay and the staff was nice. Unfortunately, my partner's food was forgotten on my second visit within 3 months. Both times we had to wait at least 15 minutes for my partner's food. Without demand, the dishes would probably never have arrived...

Carlos was an incredible waiter and host and we had such a lovely meal that we came back a second night. Pasta dishes were excellent, steak and pommes was solid and the pizza was really really good. "Caesar" salad was more like honey mustard but with the crispy chicken chunks all mixed in it really worked! All the dessert selections we tried were good but the profiterole won the prize for us. Super clean restrooms and an incredible view made everything great. We would come back again and highly recommend for a break from traditional German food during your holidays.

This is an average restaurant. We shared a pizza for an appetiser and it was pretty good. Salads were fine. Pastas were smothered in sauce and nothing special. I’d say this is a pretty good place for pizza but not other dishes. There was a large table nearby with children running around the restaurant, screaming, playing etc ( this was around 7:30pm ). None of the parents bothered to say anything to stop them and neither did the staff. Perhaps this influenced our experience as well.

I'm sorry but it seems like the chef has been changed. These mushrooms have obviously not been washed as they contain granular sand. Some mushrooms have spiny residue. If they were washed they would probably be delicious, but unfortunately I couldn't finish them.
