Colosseo in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

We remembered the Colosseo's culinary skills being better. Yesterday's visit, however, was a bitter disappointment. The pasta wasn't hot, and the chefs clearly hadn't heard of al dente. The focaccia was the worst part – it was like a bad pizza. When we asked if the food was okay, there was no response to our complaint. Never again!

After a long search, we finally found a restaurant with an open kitchen after 8:30 pm 🥹 and it was worth it! The service was very friendly and quick, we enjoyed delicious Bolognese and pizza, and the atmosphere was lovely and cozy. Although we were only in Garmisch for one evening, we can highly recommend Colosseo.

An Italian restaurant near Garmisch Center. You have to climb some stairs to get in. Honestly, the atmosphere inside is nice, and the food is even better. We ordered a delicious Margherita pizza, and the cheese pasta was even better. The fries were just okay. Honestly, the food is even better than the chef. Chef Raafat El Masry is the best chef in Garmisch, and the waiters are very helpful.

We ordered pizza and it was delicious. The delivery service was very punctual and everything went smoothly. The only things to note are that the pizza wasn't cut and that they forgot the garlic sauce once. But otherwise, everything was great!

We wanted to get something to eat. Three waitresses were standing in front of the entrance, but one simply turned away. When I greeted them, I was completely ignored and received no response. So we immediately went back outside and left!

Never again, the quality has deteriorated significantly. Empty glasses and no one comes by to ask if we want another drink. Some of the food was forgotten or the wrong order. Poor and uninspired service. The Prosco was stale and barely drinkable; after complaining, it didn't improve. You don't feel like a guest who paid for a nice meal, and not even a cheap one at that. Which isn't a problem, but then it simply has to be right.

I ordered a pizza from Pomme online. The estimated time for completion was spot on, so I ordered another one the very next day. They perfectly accommodated my special requests.

Unfortunately, the quality has declined significantly. I've always been a fan of the tiramisu, but what I received today was miles away from what I'm used to at Colosseo. The two pizzas weren't what I'd expect either. What a shame...

We arrived in the city on our first evening and spontaneously looked for a restaurant near our hotel. A quick call to Pizzeria Colosseo made everything perfect – we received a very friendly welcome on the phone and were seated immediately. The selection of drinks and food is truly impressive – wonderful, classic Italian cuisine! We opted for bruschetta, lasagna, and spaghetti carbonara, accompanied by a Lillet and an apple spritzer. Everything tasted fantastic – fresh, authentic, and simply incredibly delicious! The wait time was also perfectly acceptable, and the staff were attentive and professional – as soon as our glasses were empty, they promptly and politely asked if we would like anything else. If we lived in the area, this would definitely be our go-to Italian restaurant!

We ate there one week ago. Ordered two shandys and two pizzas. Our shandys were simply awful. They definitely didn't mix beer with Sprite; we claim it was water, because that's what they tasted like. Both pizzas tasted okay, but they weren't authentic Italian pastries. The dough was ultra-thin and impossible to cut with cutlery. Other guests apparently had this problem too. If you managed to make a cut, the topping would slide off the dough. The restaurant had the charm of a large train station concourse; when there were a lot of guests, it got unpleasantly loud. Service was okay, but there was no attention to detail like you might get at an Italian restaurant back home. Be that as it may, it wouldn't have made it any better. Conclusion: a restaurant we can neither recommend nor would we visit again.

Had pizza Parma and chicken fingers with BBQ sauce. All 10/10, extremely delicious.

This morning, we were a group of five and ordered various dishes, including a trio of pasta dishes, a calzone pizza, and a pescatora pizza. The food was okay, but unfortunately, the service was very poor. The waiter who served us was rude and unfriendly, and it felt like he had no desire to serve us at all. When we asked him to pack some of the remaining food to take away, he looked at us askance, as if we had asked something inappropriate. Very disappointing.

A great Italian restaurant, a personal highlight when I'm in Gap and a definite recommendation. Very good food, an extensive menu, and friendly and fast service. The downside: because the restaurant is understandably popular, it's usually very full, so reservations are recommended. The only drawback: the acoustics are poor, making it very loud. But the delicious food is worth it.

After 10 years, we returned to Garmisch and were looking forward to our visit to the Colosseo. It was just as good as ever! The pizza is still great (large, thin, crispy, well-topped), the pasta is delicious, and the bruschetta with chanterelle mushrooms and brie is extremely flavorful. The service was Italian-friendly, although the glasses of Sambuca have apparently fallen victim to a shrinking process... We've made reservations again for Saturday.

We sat on the elevated terrace in glorious late summer weather, overlooking the Zugspitze, Alpspitze, and Waxenstein. It couldn't be better. The service was prompt and the food was very good. Warning: Large portions! I'll definitely be back.

We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant! Rarez, was so kind, helpful, and welcoming. He guided us in choosing our dishes, and they turned out to be absolutely delicious. We had the Caesar salad, mushroom pizza with cheese and tomato sauce, and the chicken & mushroom fettuccine, all of them were full of flavor and served in generous portions. Definitely a place we’d love to visit again!

Me and my friend were doing a bikepacking journey from Ulm to Innsbruck. We slept wherever we stopped riding each day and on the day I visited the Colosseo we were really hungry and we also needed to charge our phones and power packs. The food came and it was wonderful... The service was fast and professional and the help we got with our telephones was needed and we were very happy when the girls serving us charged them for us. I'd go back again... The kids' corner was completely filthy, the atmosphere was unfortunately like a cafeteria, the food was nothing special, but the prices were like those in Munich. The Italian restaurant that serves a Hawaiian pizza isn't authentic for me, unfortunately. The service was completely inattentive. Now I have to change my review, as two out of five people unfortunately developed stomach problems afterward.

I tried the Margherita and Pesto Spaghetti. The Margherita is 10 out of 10, it's delicious, and the dough is amazing. I give the pasta a 7 out of 10. The pesto taste is really strong. They put too much of it and it has oil in it. May God not show you 😂. The employees are respectful. The purified juice is really bad. Don't ask for it; it tastes ready-made.

The pizzas were very good, but the pasta in the Bolognese was overcooked. Drinks arrived after the appetizers, and the pizzas arrived 10 minutes later than the pasta, which wasn't so good. We also reserved an outside table, but I wished I'd been informed when I confirmed that that wouldn't work. In this beautiful weather, you don't want to sit inside. I hope things work out better next time.

Very good stone oven pizza and super friendly staff!

The menu listed a salad with corn, among other ingredients, but not a single kernel of corn was found. No salad dressing, just vinegar and oil on the table. I tried twice to get a halfway decent salad and failed twice. A rabbit would probably enjoy this salad.

So far only ordered but I think you can definitely eat well there too :)

We ordered online, and the pizza would have been incredibly delicious if we'd gotten it warm. Unfortunately, our delivery was delivered incorrectly, so the replacement was lukewarm and soft, and no longer crispy. However, the friendliness, service, and driver almost make up for it. Hence, only 4 out of 5 stars. I would definitely recommend it, as the pizza tasted really good (despite the mishap)!

Even though we haven't been to the rendezvous for a while... I like to remember the place. First of all, true Italian! (Even in a city that declines the verb "Deutch" with strong influences from the "bel paese," that's not a given). Next comes Aponense, which is why their pizzas have names that recall the Euganean Hills and the spa towns dear to us Paduans. Moreover, the dough is crispy, large, and well-seasoned, the crowds are pleasant and varied, and the restaurant is tastefully furnished and airy. There are also good alternatives with dishes from the à la carte menu. The service is top-notch and the prices are reasonable. If you haven't adapted to German cuisine and are feeling nostalgic, it's a safe haven.

An Italian restaurant located on the second floor above the supermarket. It has a lovely atmosphere, especially the outdoor seating. My experience: Chicken and vegetable pizza (8/10) Chicken and mushroom risotto (9/10) Chicken fettuccine (10/10) Ganbari pasta (9/10) They were generous with the amount of chicken and ganbari in the order. It's definitely worth a try.

Very good food at reasonable prices. The pizza, which we ordered extra spicy and had both spicy salami and chili oil as toppings, was unfortunately still quite mild, but tasted fantastic and was super fresh and homemade. Unfortunately, we sometimes had to wait a bit longer to be served, and our reservation was obviously forgotten or incorrectly noted. Still, an all-around solid visit that we don't regret at all :)

The restaurant is upstairs. It's been a long time since I've eaten such delicious Italian food. We ordered fettuccine, which was delicious, and a Caesar salad that was perfectly cooked. The margherita pizza was the least delicious, very average, but the taste was acceptable. I gave one star for the atmosphere because the restaurant owners' dog kept us busy. He kept coming around us.

A restaurant near Garmisch Center. Serving pizza, pasta, and other dishes. We had two types of pizza: one with 4 cheeses and the other with Margherita. Both were excellent. We had fettuccine with chicken, which was excellent and highly recommended. We had spaghetti with pesto, which was excellent. We also had grilled salmon with vegetables, which was good. All the food was excellent. The portions were excellent. We were 5 people, and dinner cost 121 euros, including soft drinks. The restaurant is on the first floor, accessible by an iron staircase. There are indoor and outdoor seating options. The staff are helpful and friendly, and they teach you about halal food.

We visited the BMW Motorrad Days and found this amazing restaurant and the food was amazing and good value for money. The staff are so helpful and accommodating nothing was a problem
