Salvte in Garmisch-Partenkirchen

Wir waren zu viert dort und wollten eigentlich einen entspannten Abend verbringen, leider wurde es das komplette Gegenteil… Schon beim Servieren der Getränke hat die Kellnerin direkt hinter unserem Rücken einen Teil eines Getränks auf den Boden gekippt, weil das Glas zu voll war. Offenbar dachte sie, wir würden es nicht bemerken. Ein seltsamer erster Eindruck. Fragen zu den Gerichten konnte sie ebenfalls nicht beantworten. Die einzige Antwort war in einem unfreundlichen Ton: „Wir haben das, was in der Karte steht.“ Mein Freund und ich hatten uns eine Käse- und Wurstplatte als Vorspeise zum Teilen bestellt. Geschmacklich war diese tatsächlich gut. Das Problem war jedoch, dass die Vorspeise zusammen mit allen Hauptgerichten serviert wurde. Als ich der Kellnerin erklärte, dass ich zuerst die Vorspeise essen und den Hauptgang anschließend haben möchte, wie ich es bestellt habe. Wirkte die Kellnerin genervt, nahm meinen Hauptgang kommentarlos wieder mit und verschwand. Nachdem ich mit der Vorspeise fertig war, hatten meine drei Begleiter ihre Hauptgerichte bereits komplett aufgegessen. Die Kellnerin lief in der Zwischenzeit mehrfach an unserem Tisch vorbei und sah, dass ich längst fertig war und weiterhin auf mein Essen wartete. Erst nach etwa 30 Minuten fragte sie, ob ich meinen Hauptgang jetzt haben möchte. Danach musste ich weitere 30 Minuten warten, bis er tatsächlich kam. Zwischen den Hauptgerichten meiner Begleiter und meinem Essen lagen rund 60 Minuten. Während alle anderen längst fertig waren, saß ich eine Stunde lang ohne Essen am Tisch. Von einem gemeinsamen Restaurantbesuch konnte keine Rede mehr sein. Ein gemeinsames Essen war also unmöglich. Ich durfte den anderen praktisch beim Verdauen zuschauen. Als ich den Service höflich ansprechen wollte, wurde ich zum Chef geschickt. Dieser sprach kein Deutsch. Auf Englisch versuchte ich die Situation zu erklären, doch statt einer Lösung wurde er laut und ging überhaupt nicht auf die Kritik ein. Am Ende musste ich zwar nur die Hälfte meines Hauptgerichts bezahlen, aber das ändert nichts daran, dass der gesamte Abend durch den schlechten Service ruiniert wurde. Freundlichkeit, Kommunikation und Organisation waren aus unserer Sicht leider sehr enttäuschend. Zusätzlich war auch die Qualität der Speisen meiner Freunde enttäuschend. Die Pizza schmeckte eher wie eine Tiefkühlpizza und war alles andere als lecker. Schade, der Service hat den Besuch jedoch komplett zerstört. Wer schon immer mal erleben wollte, wie sich ein gemeinsames Essen über zwei Stunde auseinanderziehen kann, ist hier genau richtig. Wir kommen definitiv nicht wieder.

Wir kommen schon seit Jahren nach Patenkirchen. Sind immer gerne hier ins Weinlokal gegangen, nur gestern der Tiefpunkt. Das war das letzte Mal, vielleicht noch einmal ein Wein, da kann man nicht viel Falsch machen. - obwohl der Wein war warm Wir hatten auch gegessen, eine Salat bestellt, wohl gemerkt einen Salat - Der total versalzen war und die Blätter teilweise dunkel. Auch war nicht der Käse auf dem Salat, wie in der Karte beschrieben. Nach der Reklamation, kam zwar ein neuer, aber nicht besser. GENAU das selbe !!! Wie ich reklamiert hatte schaut die Dame mich an, dass kann nicht sein. - man kann eben nicht nur mit Öl und Salz etwas anmachen - nich einmal Essig war dran Wir werden nicht mehr den Laden betreten. Das war das Geld nicht wert.

Sehr schmackhafte Speisen und schönes Ambiente.

Unfreundliche Leute. Man setzt sich an einen Tisch und wird (auf Italienisch) angeblafft, dass er reserviert sei. Dann stellt sich heraus, dass der Tisch doch nicht reserviert ist, aber der Stuhl wird für einen anderen Tisch freigeräumt. Weitergehen!!!

Es war einer der wenigen Orte, an denen ich problemlos veganes Essen fand, denn sie haben köstliche Focaccia. Das Personal war sehr freundlich und man hat von der Terrasse einen schönen Blick auf die Stadt.

Hab hier heute Pizza gegessen, die habe ich nochmals in den Ofen schicken lassen, zweiter Versuch ... nach 2 Bissen beendet...widerliche Pizza ...wie aus einem Minibackofen und viel Größer war sein Pizzaofen auch nicht! Ja ja hier gibt auch nepp...

Ein sehr angenehmes Lokal mit familiärer italienischer Atmosphäre. Die Speisekarte ist zwar klein, aber die Gerichte sind sehr lecker. Der Service ist sehr freundlich und spricht sehr gut Englisch. Man möchte solche Lokale gerne wieder besuchen.

Ricardo hat uns zwei Abende lang geholfen, weil wir nach Küchenschluss kamen, haha. Ein super Typ, den ich wegen des Services und des authentischen italienischen Essens nur wärmstens empfehlen kann! Vielen Dank, Ricardo! 😁

Der Laden wirkt eigentlich ganz nett und authentisch auf den ersten Blick. Wir haben zwei Pizzen bestellt für jeweils 16€. Die Qualität war deutlich unterdurchschnittlich. Plastikfolienpizzaböden kombiniert mit qualitativ minderwertigem Belag. Das ganze nicht ausreichend erhitzt. Ein Glas Wein trinken mag ok sein - aber auf keinen Fall die Pizza nehmen.

Leckeres Essen und tolle Bedienung. Ich empfehle gerne den Tartufo Nero.

A cool, small Italian-style restaurant. They offer small but delicious Italian specialties, as well as burgers and desserts. Ricardo (the owner) serves everything simply but with care. Anyone visiting Partenkirchen can experience the proverbial "dolce vita" here.

The pizza we ordered was definitely fresh from the freezer. Constipation is inevitable. Enjoy your visit.

Small Italian restaurant with typical Italian hospitality. Small menu, but incredibly delicious.

Great find - lovely & cosy, great good & friendly service

Was greeted with a nice buonasera. Great selection of wine. The pizza however was not what I expected from an Italian restaurant and nothing like get while living in Italy. The crust was like trying to cut through concrete it was so hard. The pizza didn't taste bad but with no Oregano it didn't have a whole lot of taste. And pricey - €30 for a pizza and 2 glasses of wine, it should be half that.

Absolutely amazing! Fantastic atmosphere. Great Italian music. We ordered takeout, but they still offered us delicious drinks. The food itself was brilliant. Highly recommended.

BAH!!! Never eaten such a bad pizza, really never! At the pizzeria, they put frozen salami on top and quickly put it in the oven for 2 minutes! The cheese is completely chemical, and there's not even any oregano! The dough was also disgusting 🤢. Frozen pizza would be a million times tastier! And then €100 for 7 pizzas! I've never written a review before, but I have to WARN you❌

Great place, great focaccia, high-class ingredients (olive oil, ham, mozzarella). If someone is not a fan of Bavarian cuisine, this will be a good alternative 😉

€31 for a Margherita pizza and a pizza with buffalo mozzarella and arugula! Significantly overpriced, especially when the dough has a strong yeasty flavor (suggests a very quickly prepared dough with a lot of yeast). Next time, I'll try a different pizzeria.

If you have a wine bar, and you ask for something that is on the menu, but you don't have it, and then you say that it is almost the same, but it is not at all, (Percorino / Chardonnay) and if you then also do not grab a wine glass by the stem (lesson 1 wine world) but grab the glass with your dirty fingers, then I wonder why you work in a wine bar, in short, it was not quite right! In terms of food and certainly not in terms of wine, unfortunately, a nice place by the way.

A great restaurant on the historic Ludwigstrasse in Garmisch Partenkirchen. Pleasant music, an Italian-style ambiance, friendly owners, and excellent food. We definitely recommend it!

Super nice host, very small menu, but the pizza really blew us away. The pizza à la chef was especially amazing. Super delicious! We do have one small suggestion for improvement, though: take down the flashing pizza sign outside. It reminds you of a kebab shop and doesn't suit this great food ;) Thanks for the wonderful hospitality

Never again!!! I don't understand why there are such high reviews here! They just deceived us. The day before my daughter's anniversary, we decided to enjoy the beauty of nature and the lake. We were very tired from walking, so we went to eat, and were fooled by the reviews of this restaurant. Everything was simply awful! We were alone in the restaurant the whole time and got the worst table (near the stand with cheese and something else). They said other tables were reserved, but we left the restaurant and there was still no one there. If we didn't have to drive home for another two hours and weren't so tired and hungry, we would have left immediately. There was no choice of food either. And you could just choke on pizza. I hope we don't get sick after all that food and the poor hygiene. But the prices were the same as in a good restaurant.

Super cozy and owner-managed restaurant. You get Italian snacks like piadina, foccia, cheese and snacks. Wine list is impressive. We are happy to be guests.

Small Italian-style eatery. Checked it out because of the generally positive reviews but was a little disappointed. Staff were pleasant and welcoming and it provided a nice break from typical Bavarian fare. Restaurant was chaotic though (there was a large private party so this may have contributed). Menu was limited/small. Food was fine, but nothing to write home about!

Great place for some casual platters with amazing cheese and cold cuts of meat. The wine is great, but the biggest delight is the owner! Highly recommended!

Italienisches Bistro mit tollem Ambiente und super freundlichem und hilfsbereiten Personal. Sehr schön um am Nachmittag zu relaxen oder abends den Tag ausklingen zu lassen. Gute Lokation mitten in der Ludwigstraße mit Blick auf das Wettersteingebirge. Die Auswahl an essen ist leider sehr begrenzt dafür ist die Getränke Auswahl erstklassig. Tolle Stimmung und immer wieder einen Besuch wert.

This is a very small family restaurant with authentic Italian food. Everything is home made. Everything is very tasty. I would call it a Salumeria. The prices are very reasonable. Really nice small slice of Italy. The owner serves himself and family members are behind the counter. Wonderful!

What a wonderful little find! My husband and I spent a few days in Garmisch and were lucky enough to stumble upon this little gem (with the recommendation of Maria Teresa at our hotel 😘). Two wry Italians run the place and the food is exquisite: simple, tasty genuine Italian fare. My husband jokingly says we don't need to drive all the way to Italy from the Netherlands anymore; since we found Salvte, we only have to drive halfway. If you're planning a trip to Garmisch, do not miss this.

Beautiful small Italian restaurant. Very affable and courteous personnel. Looks like it is family restaurant. The dishes were very tasty.

We popped to Salvte as we were wandering through the Main Street looking for a snack and a drink. Good atmosphere and setting with reasonable service. Both me and my wife enjoyed our Prosecco and white wine, however the Bruchetta was way overpriced and let our experience down. We watched others around us, mainly locals from the way they were greeted, supplied with crisps with their drinks (not us) and plates of food which were not on the menu. Yes, we get it, look after your locals, however do not rip off your tourists!
