Spent a great evening with friends with incredibly good tapas and dessert.

Were there on Friday... it was just crazy.

We came over spontaneously during our vacation. Unfortunately all the tables inside were reserved, but we were made comfortable outside. Wines great, food was outstanding! Service staff and owner very accommodating! We would come back!

Service and ambience is top. Unfortunately I was disappointed with the meal because my steak wasn't good. Tapas were ok. Everyone has to decide for themselves whether the price-performance ratio is right. Unfortunately not for me.

A really great restaurant. The food was very good, a great selection of wine and the service was also great, very friendly and attentive. We were there with a child and a stroller and it wasn't a problem. We'd love to come back.

I had the pleasure of visiting the Garmisch Alte Druckerei restaurant in Garmisch-Partenkirchen and was impressed by the atmosphere, the food and the service. The restaurant is housed in an old printing house and has a very cozy and stylish interior. It is the perfect place for a romantic date, a family dinner or a cozy evening with friends. The food is freshly prepared and of high quality. The menu offers a wide selection of classic Spanish tapas and grilled steaks. I tried the Gambas al Ajillo and the Vitello Tonate with pickled pumpkin and absolutely loved both dishes. The pumpkin pie is amazing! You should definitely try it now!!! The Alte Druckerei team is very courteous and friendly. You immediately feel welcome and in good hands. Unfortunately the restaurant is not barrier-free as it used to be an old printing press. However, this is the only downside I found. Overall, I can highly recommend the Garmisch Alte Druckerei restaurant. It's a great restaurant with a great ambience, good food and friendly service.

Modern restaurant serving tapas and plated meals. Price performance is balanced. Drinks are varied...from wine to beer to cocktails. Of course there are also non-alcoholic drinks.

A must on every visit to Garmisch Partenkirchen. Although the restaurant is known for its selection of tapas, steak lovers will also get their money's worth. A good selection of wines completes the good picture. The service was first class and the employees actively looked after their guests. We always enjoy coming back

Cute restaurant with a nice atmosphere and a small terrace. There were lots of tasty little things and the wine was also tasty. Reservations are strongly recommended, at least in high season. Overall a good price-performance ratio. We'll definitely be back!!

Good service, we went there for dinner and spent 70€ for 2 people. We ordered in total 5-6 tapas and they all came in very small portion (and each tapas cost around 8€-15€) for example the pork belly roast you get maybe 6 pcs of thumb size pork.. and the shrimp you get 3pcs and the rest are tomatoes.. we ended up getting something elsewhere after the dinner because the we were simply not full. Food was decent but please expect you need at least 5 tapas each person in order to get full.

There's really nothing to complain about. Super friendly, got a table spontaneously, the food was excellent as always, great wines and a pleasant atmosphere.

The outdoor area is very comfortable and the service is very accommodating. The paella tasted good and is inexpensive. However, it is a “German paella”. In my opinion the aroma is better in Spain. Next time we'll try the tappas platter for 2 people. However, 9 euros for a glass of wine is quite steep. When the weather was nice, everything outside was full. So be sure to reserve. It was empty inside. But it is also well-kept and comfortable.

Nice choice of tapas and good service. Only disadvantage were the crammed tables on the small outside terrace.

We went with the hope of eating Spanish tapas, but they only use Spanish to name some dishes on the menu. One or another Spanish wine is available. We ordered Pan con Tomate (Pan Tumaca) and they gave us a slice of bread with a gigantic peeled tomato on top. Karlos Arguiñano would die of a heart attack. Not to mention the Adrià brothers. But if you want to eat well, be well served, and enjoy a super pleasant atmosphere, the restaurant is very good.

With an eye for detail and thoughtful interior design, you will immediately feel at home here. The combination of stylish interior and cozy atmosphere makes “Die alte Druckerei” a perfect place for a relaxing evening. The service staff are very nice, courteous and always on hand without seeming intrusive. As a guest you always feel well looked after and valued. The food is simply outstanding. Lucas and his kitchen team do great things and conjure up dishes that not only taste good but also look good. Of particular note were the pork belly and the tartare, both of which were perfectly cooked. The doneness of the steaks was also spot on. Given the quality of the food, the excellent service and the great atmosphere, the price-performance ratio is absolutely justified. You really get something for your money here. We will be back definitely.

Very pleasant atmosphere. Great mix of food. On the one hand a very large selection of tapas and on the other hand very good steaks and meat dishes. Top wine selection and good beer is also included. And all of this at a very good price/performance ratio. We like going there.

Es ist schwierig, in diesem ehemals renommierten Ferienort Garmisch heute ein schönes und gutes Restaurant zu finden. Dennoch gibt es eine herausragende Ausnahme - eben diese Tapas Bar. Sehr schönes Ambiente von gleichbleibender, sehr guter Qualität und Angebot, freundlicher Service mit einem erfahrenen und allseits beliebten Wirt!

The atmosphere in the print shop was unique and cozy. The tapas were delicious and prepared with great attention to detail. The service was really great and the staff was very attentive and friendly. I was particularly impressed by the selection of wines that went perfectly with the tapas. The Alte Druckerei is a delight for all the senses. I can only recommend it and look forward to the next visit!

Really a TOP tapas shop! We got a table at short notice on Friday evening. The innkeeper and waitresses were extremely professional. Just the right amount of questions about whether everything is OK, when we want to order, etc. The food was brought in a reasonable time. It was tasty and, for tapas, the price was appropriate for the quantity and, above all, the quality. I have attached pictures of the food and the bill to my review. I think when I say that I gave €50 including the tip, it says a lot about our evening. Great restaurant!

Beautiful restaurant & very well-crafted dishes. The tapas are authentic. There are classics and unusual tapas like pork belly. You can tell that the boss knows a lot about wine. The prices of the wines are also exceptionally fair. All in all, we found it very good and are happy to have discovered another great restaurant in Garmisch. A general comment from me: I find the prices almost too low for the quality. I know that many people want more for less. But the use of goods and good craftsmanship can also be rewarded.

Ich habe das Restaurant über die Weihnachtsfeiertage besucht und es war wirklich toll. Gutes Essen, mit natürlichen Zutaten gekocht und interessantes Interieur, eine freundliche Bedienung. Meiner Meinung nach eine gute Abwechslung zu den ebenfalls sehr guten anderen Restaurants in Garmisch, die aber meistens nur deutsche Küche haben.

This is a great place to escape the relentless pig battery of Bavarian cuisine. The staff are tremendous, the food has never been anything less than delicious (I've been here three times), and the price is pretty on par for the area. They also have a wine selection that is guaranteed to suit any taste.

This was one of the few restaurants open at 10 pm and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. We had some tapas and beers that were ok and the location was quite cozy.

Alles sehr gut aber feinere Terrassenstühle wären nicht schlecht extrem unbequem zum sitzen.

Unglaublich tolle Speisen&Weine. Alles, was man für einen besonderen Abend braucht. Dazu kommt der unglaublich nette Inhaber und ein exzellenter und besonders aufmerksamer und liebenswürdiger Kellner. Wir haben selten einen Abend erlebt, wo von Anfang bis Ende alle Wünsche erfüllt und übertroffen worden sind. Danke! Großes Plus: viele vegane Speisen!

Hier kann man einen leckeren entspannten Abend verbringen. Es gibt sowohl Tapas als auch Hauptgerichte. Der Wein ist gut mit einer vielfältigen Auswahl. Trotz plötzlichem Gewitter, war der Service weiter freundlich. Für alle Gäste war Platz im Inneren freigehalten worden.

Excellent spot for drinks and tapas at a beautifully designed location that was a print shop for years. I lived in Garmisch for 20 years and came back after being gone for 6 to this super surprise in my old neighborhood. Spinch empanadas and grilled calamari were fabulous as were the cocktails. Try this place- Ralf is a great manager:)

Das Ambiente wirkt modern, stylisch, aufgeräumt und doch gemütlich mit einer angenehmen Musik im Hintergrund. Unsere Speisen waren durchgehend lecker, schmackhaft und gut gewürzt. Man merkt, dass hier frisch gekocht wird. Dazu die wirklich tollen Weine, die hervorragend zum Essen passen. Sowas hat man eher selten. Die Auswahl an Spirituosen ist vielfältig. Jeder findet hier etwas für seinen Geschmack. Der Service ist ebenfalls sehr gut. Freundlich und aufmerksam. Alle Bestellungen kamen flott und zügig an. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Auf jeden Fall Tapas nehmen. Es gibt auch immer eine Tageskarte. Da sind dann auch immer spezielle Tapas drauf. Schöne und gemütliche Atmosphäre. Reservierung empfohlen.

Neben der individuellen, hochwertigen Einrichtung gibt es nicht nur hochwertige und doch bezahlbare Weine, sondern auch aufmerksamen Service und leckeres Essen. Auch wenn Tapas das Hauptmerk sind, gibt es auch wunderbare Steaks, Salate, Fabitas etc.

Wir hatten zu dritt jeder eine Paella, die wirklich richtig richtig gut war. Mein Freund hatte eine kleine Auswahl von Tapas. Auch er war sehr begeistert. Die drei Bedienungen waren wirklich sehr sehr freundlich und konnten auf jede unserer Fragen immer antworten. Ich kann nicht verstehen, weshalb einige Menschen meinen, hier nicht freundlich bedient zu werden. Das ist überhaupt nicht der Fall, im Gegenteil. Wenn wir das nächste Mal in Garmisch-Partenkirchen sind, kommen wir auf jeden Fall gerne wieder.
