Fabulous place for a mountain experience in Garmisch, Germany.

The food was good and the atmosphere ok, although the music was played too loudly. The rating would have been higher if you accepted credit cards and not just cash - but it was written somewhere, too! At this point, we were forced out into -10°C cold to find a very hard-to-find ATM. Also, we were not trusted to come back and pay, even though half the party stayed! The waitress really thought we weren't going to pay!! EXTREMELY BAD SERVICE!! Even otherwise, the service was slow with drinks in particular. He finished the main course before the refill of wine arrived. And this is supposed to represent a restaurant in a world-famous ski resort with tourists from all over the world! We were out to celebrate a birthday, but the ending spoiled the evening. The excuses from the waitress that "there are more restaurants that don't accept credit cards" are completely ridiculous! Care about your customers instead of your competitors!

Place was empty and they still told us we couldn’t get a table and sat us at the bar, we order a beer and a glass of water (which was not in the drinks menu) when we paid we saw that they charged us 5€ for the glass of water!!!! It wasn’t even in a bottle, it came literally in a glass.

When we made the reservation for 2 people, we were unfortunately not informed that this was a high and very small table with a high stool as seating. Since my partner has some physical limitations, this became a problem, but the woman from the staff then sat us at another table where we could sit for an hour. However, we quickly noticed that we were being asked quickly and a little intrusively whether we already knew what we wanted to order. However, the food came quite quickly and was also very tasty. However, when ordering a dessert, you were asked whether you would like to choose another one because it would be at the table quicker and you didn't like that. But there was still dessert. What also bothered us was that there was no card payment, only cash. We didn't notice it was there anywhere. In an inn/restaurant right in the center of a city that is heavily visited by tourists, I find it a no-go that there is no card payment.

Ate very overpriced schnitzel with fries. Ketchup and mayo cost extra (one euro.) A receipt was only printed out when we asked.

In short, if you are looking for a place with a cozy atmosphere and excellent service, The Cozy Spot is perfect. But unfortunately, the food didn't convince me.

This was one of the only places we could find food at 8:30pm on a Sunday, and I’m happy we ended up here! Food and drinks were really good, the bartender was friendly and spoke English. Definitely recommend!

Unfortunately I cannot confirm the many top reviews. The food here tastes like crappy frozen food. The chicken wings were e.g. B. completely inedible. The prices are definitely too high for that. A failure for us. Update: We were only there once, during Corona time. I can't judge whether the inadequate quality is related to this.

Authentic Bavarian food. Best grilled vegetables I had on this trip. A bit pricey but I think it's everywhere in the town.

Unfortunately we were turned away at the inn next door and pointed to the restaurant... a "quaint" place with Thai curry on the menu made us skeptical, but it was a recommendation... unfortunately I can't confirm the fresh cuisine because I... I have a glutamate intolerance and have been having a lot of "fun" for hours now.... the dish of the day, in our case Spätzle (Knöpfle) with mushroom cream and pork loin, was not shown on the menu and was booked on a recommendation. In my opinion, even working in the tourism or hospitality industry would have asked for a maximum of 15 euros but 22 is definitely too much... we ate much better and much cheaper the day before. It's a shame because the restaurant seemed lovingly and rustically furnished.

Ask the server about the special, which is usually not on the menu, and always fantastic. Be advised, this restaurant is cash only.

An insider tip in Garmisch, the food is super good and perfect. Small restaurant with very nice and very good service. Rustically furnished, just the way it is right for Garmisch. Always my pleasure.

Quite a cozy dining room, unfortunately for eating for two at the 50x50cm table, which I would say is a bit cramped. Otherwise, as I said, quite comfortable.

We were in Garmisch-Partenkirchen for 14 days and really caught our eye on the Zibel-Stube. So try it out. We were very happy with all the food drink service. And music in the background. So it's worth going in or sitting outside.

This is the best meal we have had during our ten days in Europe! Originally, I asked the hotel to recommend German pork knuckles. But the boss really recommends this steak and beer😳 Once you eat it, you will become addicted~ Where am I going to find such delicious steak when I return to Taiwan? We ordered rib eye, sirloin steak, and pork cordon bleu. A little bit of English is enough to communicate. Please note that all sauces and side dishes are ordered separately. But the food is so delicious ❤️ Although the bill made us wow, it was still within the acceptable range. Three steaks + cordon bleu + drinks = 170 euros The food is really delicious. It is recommended to book a table in advance as there are few seats in the store!

Delicious homemade cheese spaetzle. The portion was a bit too small for my friend, but enough for me. Highly recommended if you want to drink a few cocktails with nice music.

We ended up in the Zirbel by chance on the first evening - it turned out to be very lucky. The food was so good (schnitzel stuffed with our own filling) that we came back the next day. On this second day, the steaks were so good (finally medium well as ordered, and not too medium) that we came back again. And so it went on. Each of the ten dinners (2 people x 5 meals), whether steak, schnitzel, rigatoni, tasted great. The music is good for our taste, as is the ambience. An absolute recommendation!

Great place for Bavarian food and beer. Found this place since it was the only one in Garmisch that had the kitchen open past 2100.

Slow service, no credit cards taken

We were there for the third time now. We ate there on each of our stays in Garmisch. And as always, it was delicious. Not a long wait and the staff was very friendly. We will definitely come back on our next stay.

I showed up there spontaneously with my family and wanted a table for 4 people. I was immediately politely asked to go to the bar to get a great table in a great restaurant with perfect food for the 10 minute wait. We always look back on this evening with pleasure... it remains in our memory... Thank you very much for that and keep it up, greetings from SH.

Small restaurant or bar with a very cozy atmosphere, good quality food and a diverse selection of drinks. The service is friendly and accommodating. We felt very comfortable. However, only cash payment was accepted, which some guests apparently were not prepared for. The information sign at the entrance was very small and inconspicuous. As a small point of criticism.

The food, especially the meat, was great, but unfortunately the price/performance didn't match. 40€ for beef, vegetables and potato wedges. Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't as expected, rustic, yes, but it should be special for the price. Sorry, but my assessment doesn't go beyond ok.

Incredibly friendly staff and I can highly recommend the food 😍. Unfortunately we sat opposite the bar, where it is very narrow and there was constant coming and going.

We sat down and had a wonderful time trying local spirits guided by a wonderful Waitress/Bartender/only apparent front of house staff. That being said, she was holding it down. The experience was excellent and the server was welcoming and hospitable. Didn't try the food, but I'm sure, if they take as much care in their serving as cooking, it will be excellent.

In Suzanna´s Zirbel Stube kann man vorzüglich essen. Wer einmal weg vom typisch Bayrischen und hin zur außergewöhnlichen und experimentierfreudigen Küche möchte, der ist mit der Zirbel Stube gut beraten. Wer nach dem Essen dann auch noch ein paar gute Drinks zu sich nehmen möchte kann dies an der gemütlichen Bar tun. Das Team rund um die Wirtin ist megafreundlich und auf Zack. Die Zirbel Stube ist eine der Top Adressen in Garmisch-Partenkirchen. 👍

Meine Meinung nach, einer der besten Restaurants für Schnitzel. Essen war super lecker und qualitativ. Das Personal war freundlich und sehr aufmerksam! Die Ambiente war klein aber fein. Preis Leistung Verhältnis Super für diese Portionen.

Sehr sehr kleine Speisekarten. Aber das Essen war ok. Würde hier eher hingehen um ein Bier zu trinken. Man sitz schon draußen und innen ist es urig.
