Fantastic restuarant. All round good feel. Great taste of what Bravaria is.

Noisy, expensive... good but could be better

As we visited Germany , so wanted to try German food. We were recommended about this restaurant from your guide as also hotel reception. We were told that it is touristy and may not reflect exactly all German foods. Our appetizers selection was probably wrong as we had no experience before. Smoked meat pieces were too thick and I am sure I will not order that appetizer in a German restaurant again. In the main course we ordered two kind of fish dishes and they were outstanding. The desert apple strudel was very good too. Service was excellent when we compare how crowded it was. Location wise it was very good as it was close to train station and midway between our hotel and train station.

Commercialised traditional place. Plenty of staff to serve. The bier is of course good. The menu is quite limited but the food comes very quickly - ideal for railway station location.

Update 04/03/25 We had a nice day in Munich. Before we went home, we stopped by your place. €6.70 for a Cola-Wheat and €6.30 for a light beer are a bit too expensive for me. We're not coming anymore! We were hungry after Oktoberfest and stopped here. There was a lot going on and a band was playing. The service was very nice. The food tasted great. The surprise, however, was the band. Even though we were tired, we danced and celebrated. People were dancing on the chairs. A great end to the Oktoberfest.

The staff was friendly, the food was delicious and the prices were good for the location. Plus, it wasn't too crowded even though it's right next to the train station. It looks really nice from the inside.

Food was good. There was a group of 10 people on a Sunday lunchtime. The staff seemed totally overwhelmed, even though the restaurant wasn't full and we didn't have 10 different orders... My burger didn't arrive until my friends had already eaten their food! We also ended up with around 15' for billing the meals individually. This could be better...

I visited by myself after being recommended by the staff at the hotel I was staying at, and had pizza and beer. The pizza was about the size of a thin Japanese L size with lots of toppings, but it was so delicious I was able to finish it all. I think it will suit Japanese tastes. It's a shame because I could have ordered some other dishes if I had the half size. I felt that the staff was friendly to regulars, but curt towards tourists (especially Asians?). In particular, I would like to see improvements in the staff's interactions with each other, such as making small talk with each other, tidying up the chairs with their feet, and pulling up the dishes as soon as they finish their meal without asking for anything. Delicious food is ruined. It's conveniently located within 5 minutes from Munich Central Station.

I went to a restaurant near Munich Central Station around 2 p.m. where I could eat "white sausage (Weißwurst)", but I was told that you can only eat white sausage here from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m....(;∀;) However, I decided to eat here because they have a lot of normal "Southern German food". What I chose this time was "Bratwurstpfanne" (grilled sausage plate). It was a set meal-style frying pan dish of Franken sausage, smoked sausage, bacon, sauerkraut, and mashed potatoes. Käsespätzle was also delicious with a typical taste. In terms of ramen, it had a classic feel to it, like the ``royal Chinese noodles.'' If you want to eat German food right next to Munich Central Station, please come to Münchener Stubn! ! ✨

Good location by the station, hence it gets a lot of travellers as customers. We only popped in for a quick drink before dinner next door. The front of house girl was a bit unfriendly and cold, but the beer was fine.

One of classic places to eat good Bavarian food :) Had a train to catch and wanted a dose of local food before leaving and hence chose this place again. Amazing food, good beer, friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Never a disappointment and not very touristic despite the location.

Here you can find authentic Bavarian cuisine in a cozy atmosphere in the middle of Munich. As soon as you enter you feel welcome. The schnitzel turned out excellently - crispy and fried until golden brown, yet pleasantly tender on the inside. The Kasspatzen are also recommended: creamy, spicy and with the right amount of cheese. The service impresses with its friendliness and attentiveness without being intrusive. Overall, a clear recommendation for lovers of traditional Bavarian dishes in a pleasant atmosphere. I'd love to come back.

Centrally located at the main train station (and close to our hotel), we had breakfast in the Münchner Stubn (open from 11 a.m. with white sausage and a fantastic snack board) and lunch in the afternoon before our train departed. The quality of the food and service (first class - thanks Dilay!) are very good, the lounges and toilet areas are sparkling clean. We'd love to come back!

We were there on a Sunday lunchtime at 12pm without a reservation before heading back home from the main train station. Ambience great. There were white sausages, pretzels and sweet mustard. Overall, the white sausages tasted very good and the service was very friendly. There are slight deductions for the pretzels, which were small, very salty and not super fresh. The amount of sweet mustard could also have been more (a small pot for 4 white sausage eaters). The rhubarb spritzer, which you can only order as 0.5l, would have had to be poured “weirder” - the first half only tasted like sparkling water with a minimal taste of juice. The price is completely reasonable for what you get. Conclusion: If you want something to eat shortly before you leave the main station, you can stop here without hesitation. Location is perfect for that. Would I drive to the train station just for the restaurant? Rather not.

Good restaurant directly opposite the train station. That's why it's very busy. We have a cooperation with a pizzeria, so we have very, very good pizzas. Prices are slightly adjusted to the train station. Pizza (Buffalino) and a 0.4 cola just under €21.

The owner is also extremely nice and makes you feel completely comfortable. The prices are really fair, especially considering the high quality of the food. The food was excellent every time - everything was freshly prepared and very tasteful. The caramelized Kaiserschmarrn in particular was an absolute highlight! A real treat for the palate, perfectly balanced and a great end to any meal. The presentation of the dishes was always appealing and creative. The portions are more than enough, so you'll definitely be full. A big thank you to the entire team for the great service and delicious food! We will definitely come back on our next visit to Munich. Quaint restaurant with quick service. The food and drinks came quickly and were hot. The price-performance ratio is okay. The proximity to the main train station makes it a popular spot for travelers, but there is enough space.

The homemade pizza Tonno was very tasty. I can recommend it to anyone who is near Munich train station.

The food is excellent - here you can taste the quality and passion for Bavarian cuisine. Whether it's traditional dishes or seasonal specialties, it's a pleasure every time! We would also particularly like to emphasize that the Münchener Stuben is represented at the Oktoberfest - and we have been there since the beginning of their tent. The atmosphere, food and service there are also top notch and we look forward to it every year! Fast and friendly service Eating so-so (roast pork)

Even though the restaurant was packed, the food arrived in less than 20 minutes. The waiter was very friendly and quick. The schnitzel and the Kaiserschmarrn were delicious. Gladly again!

We were here once... but the name was already familiar. The look of the place was really nice, cozy and Bavarian. ((1 point less for ambience, because it felt like the lamps were hanging in the way and were always in motion by someone who came there) The service was good, but if you smiled a little and cleared it up and brought the food/drinks to the table, it came across as pretty mediocre. The typical Bavarian dishes looked large and appealing. The two of us had a snack platter. Perfect for 2 people to snab. The meat loaf and the pork but not particularly tasty... it was mediocre but the piece of cheese, the Polish and the liver sausage were really tasty. I liked all the greenery and the great carrots. (It's unimportant for men) Price/performance from the Brettl is not justified (18.90 €) but that is probably the situation. We were also shocked at the price of the beer (€6.30) at first, but it's right next to the main train station and there isn't a Bavarian restaurant in the distance that's open for long and serves warm food The 2 star deduction is based on price (high beer €6.30) Taste ok and service ok. There is still room for improvement. A smile often works wonders

Visited alone. It was crowded at dinner time, but we were seated right away. I had the Braumeister schnitzel and beer with 0.5L of Helles. The time from ordering to the beer and food being served was quick, and it goes without saying that it was delicious. I was able to finish it all, but it was quite a large amount for one person to eat, so if you're a small eater, you might want to eat it separately. I'm very satisfied

For me as a wheelchair user it is always a highlight when visiting Munich. Extremely friendly and courteous staff, very good food and a clean disabled toilet, you don't need anything more for the stop opposite the main train station, I always like coming there. Perfect!

This is a wonderful typical Bavarian restaurant directly across from the train station. I came and had a delicious meal, beer and even better service!! Didi was a delight. She is an exemplary server. WiFi available but difficult to connect Since it was a busy time, I waited at the entrance for about 10 minutes. The group that came after me skipped their turn and was guided first. As a Munich resident, I've been there several times, especially because of the pizzas! They taste delicious and there is a large selection. The service is top and the waiting times are always short even though the restaurant is so large. Because it is located right next to the main station and is a Bavarian restaurant, the guests are almost exclusively tourists, which can sometimes make it a bit noisy. It's definitely worth coming for the Bavarian and Italian cuisine!

6.30 for a Hoibe! Pure tourist rip-off. Children's meals are based on age, not portion. A no go for Munich residents! Super disappointing for a Munich brewery.

Decided we should have an actual German meal while in Munich, so we went to an early dinner at Münchner Stubn. Between the two of us we polished off a pig! I had SCHNITZEL BREWMASTER STYLE pork loin filled with cheese and ham covered in onion breading, pan-fried dumplings, cabbage salad and gravy. Better Half had ROASTED PORK with potato dumplings, cabbage salad, and gravy. Or at least ½ of it, the sizes are generous! We wished our hotel room had a fridge & microwave for leftovers. When in Munich, I decided to have a beer, asked for Helles from the wooden barrel, but they only open the cask later in the evening. Nonetheless, it went very well with all the pork!

Nice restaurant in the immediate vicinity of the main train station. We were there late at noon. The beer is good, but it stood at the counter for a long time (even though it wasn't full) until it was brought to us. The food (Bayernschnitzel) was cold. The bearded potatoes served with it were like rubber. We would love to come back and hope for a better food offering.

A very expensive restaurant. Nothing special about the food: traditional German dishes, but the price is 50% higher than average. Plus they charge 6.2 euro for a bottle of tap water (a regular water from the faucet)! The service was quite good until I understood that the bill could not be that much. The waiter brought only the receipt at first, but after we asked for a bill he immediately brought back extra 10 euros. We visited this place only because we were tired and had no time and will to have a longer walk in order to eat. Otherwise this restaurant wouldn’t be a choice

Gordan served us with dinner service. He was very knowledgeable, extremely polite, well-mannered and went out of his way to make our dining experience 10 out of 10. Highly recommend stopping by for dinner if you're in the area. Food is 10 out of 10
