An incredibly good, traditional Franconian restaurant with reasonable prices and perfect taste. I'll be eating here more often from now on.

The food looked great (pork and sauerbraten), but unfortunately, it wasn't delicious. The crust was fried separately and rock hard, the potato dumplings were sticky and tough, and the roasts were bland and dry. The cabbage was halfway okay. It's a shame, the ambiance and the staff deserved better food. Hopefully, this was just an outlier.

Dumplings were almost cold, crispy but quite hard, and the sauce was great. The staff was super fast and very friendly.

I love this location. I'm happy to take a 100-kilometer detour for it :)

My absolute favorite restaurant for Franconian cuisine. The ambiance is cozy and homey, the service always friendly and attentive. The food is simply top-notch – incredibly delicious, with huge portions and more than just great value for money. And the beer: absolutely fantastic, a perfect match for the food.

The restaurant advertises itself with the slogan "vegan-free," even though every restaurateur should know that dumplings, for example, are vegan. The menu, however, reflects this. Vegans and vegetarians are not welcome here and are met with ridicule from the staff. A place that ignores a group of vegan/vegetarians who are happy to spend money on good, healthy food. I wonder if that's a good idea...

We were there for the first time today, and wow, it was really nice. We didn't have a reservation, but we still got a table and were served very quickly (it's busy, even on Thursdays). The portions are huge, and the value is really good. The regular schnitzel is enough, and anyone who orders the large schnitzel is really brave. I'm looking forward to the next visit 😊

A lovely restaurant with primarily local dishes. I went for the safe option and ordered the large Brauhaus Wiener schnitzel. I thought they were serving schnitzels for several people on one plate, but it turned out to be just for one! It tasted delicious with tasty fries, but it was a lot, and all for €19. The schnitzel is highly recommended, but be warned: the portions are HUGE.

Parking is rather scarce here, but there are parking garages within walking distance. The restaurant offers a beer garden. The beer garden is quite shady and pleasant even on warm days, but it's nothing special. The staff was quick, a bit annoyed and tense at times, but overall rather average. The food arrives within 10 minutes of ordering, which is unfortunately noticeable; it's better to wait a little longer for fresh food. The portions were large.

Service and ambiance were very good. Unfortunately, the food (standard breaded schnitzel and broth with meatballs) was not tasty. The broth and meatballs were too salty. The schnitzel was dry.

Today was a bit of a mess. There was hardly anything going on inside, but I still left after 30 (!) minutes because no employee came to the table to take my order. I've always been very satisfied.

A very good, classic Bavarian brewery that leaves nothing to be desired. From the reception to the table, to the traditional drinks served here—a wine spritzer is still a 0.5L beer glass—that's how it should be. A schnitzel the size of a pizza plate, and the prices are simply fantastic. The next visit is guaranteed!

We came here on the recommendation of my partner and some friends, and a waitress served us in Spanish with all the patience, warmth, and friendliness in the world. We thank her for her professionalism and work, as it brightened our lunch and made us feel a little more at home. On another note, I would add as a suggestion that it was very hot that day, and the terrace wasn't designed for such hot weather. Perhaps some water misters or fans would help improve the experience of eating on the terrace.

Honest inn, always worth a visit

The restaurant has an outdoor and indoor area. We sat inside. It felt cozy. Plenty of space. Very friendly service. Fast service. Now for the not so pleasant part: we had ordered a vegetarian salad with pepperoni, as it was marked that way on the menu. The salad arrived – a huge plate with lots of salad. I was happy about that. There were lots of pepperoni on it, hence the two different pictures of the salad. Well, there was white cabbage salad on it too. Thick bacon cubes and meat crumbs were between the white cabbage. So the salad went back. The second salad arrived without the white cabbage salad, and the pepperoni was also missing. 🙁 Since I didn't feel like returning the salad, I ate it as is. They served it with bread. The second salad only had two small slices left, as they had run out of bread, and a dried-out pretzel as a substitute. Sorry, but that was my first and unfortunately last visit. As an apology, they offered me a drink, but I really couldn't stand that anymore; I just wanted to leave.

Beer and a shoulder of pork – simply delicious! At the Grünes Brauhaus in Fürth, I always enjoy a freshly tapped beer and a delicious shoulder of pork. A great combination that always works. Highly recommended for anyone who enjoys Franconian specialties!

The ambiance and service are top-notch, as is the beer. Unfortunately, the food wasn't that great. The schnitzel, which at first glance seemed huge, was pounded so thin in the middle that the visually great pretzel coating was much thicker than the meat, leaving a dry pretzel dough in your mouth. My wife's meal (roast pork with crackling, potato dumplings, and Bavarian cabbage) was also only "okay." The roast pork was okay, but lacking any flavor, which also applied to the sauce. The dumplings were large and filled, but very dry and hard. But the worst part was the crust. It wasn't attached to the meat, didn't taste of it, and didn't taste of fat either... it seemed more like a foreign object had been thrown into the deep fryer and was completely tasteless. The portions are large and the price is great, but what good is that when the food

I really like this place. The food is amazing. The staff is super friendly. The prices are unbelievable. I only gave the ambiance 4 stars because the building needs a bit of a makeover (which is probably not easy due to its listed status). Otherwise, it's my favorite place to eat in Franconia.

The venue cancelled our group two weeks before our event without really understanding the reason, really disappointed.

We wanted to eat something before visiting the comedy theater, but it wouldn't have been possible because it was really crowded. The service was really friendly, but unfortunately, they were overbooked.

We went there because of a "LachMahl" voucher. Maybe it's better to go when it's not too busy. Unfortunately, my meal wasn't anything special. I ordered a small portion of fried chicken. Firstly, it was overcooked, and secondly, there were only two pieces. My partner had the same thing, but a normal portion, and that was okay. The food prices are too high in my opinion!

Very tasty food at a fair price. I had the shoulder of pork with dumplings (+one extra) and was absolutely satisfied. The crust was perfect, and the portion size was quite filling. The service and kitchen were well organized. I didn't have to wait long for the food. The ambiance is rustic and cozy, and the staff is friendly. I'd be happy to go back anytime.

As usual, the service was great and friendly. It was delicious, too. We had shashlik with fries, sauerbraten with dumplings, and Kaiserschmarrn (sweet pancakes).

We are guests here often and have never been disappointed with the food or beer. Yesterday we were able to enjoy the new comedy “Off through the Closet”, we were thoroughly entertained by the new piece. “However, the façade could be refreshed,” said friends who were there for the first time, but we never noticed it because the whole area is so dilapidated.

A mediocre visit. I haven't had such an encounter in an inn for a long time. The waiters were very friendly but very disorganized. So 3 different waiters came to us to order and 2 waiters because my dish was sold out. What shocked me more was the statement “We get our delivery on Monday, so several dishes are already sold out on Sunday.” - I come from a gastronomic family myself - I view such statements critically! So Sunday business is not welcome?! After not finding anything else vegetarian that I liked (including some already sold out), I had some soup and was honestly disappointed with our Sunday family dinner. We won't come anymore.

Maybe we had a bad day? But: When the food is cold, namely all three dishes at our table and at the neighboring table, something goes absolutely wrong in the kitchen. A matter of taste is always to be assessed individually. It wasn't for us. As compensation, we each got an espresso on the house, a nice gesture - but we would have preferred to eat well and warm. Thanks anyway.

We were four people. We had the Schäufele, the cabbage wraps, the sauerbraten and schnitzel with potato salad. The service was very quick and always asked very nicely what we wanted. Good down-to-earth Franconian cuisine. Delicious beer. Prices are in the lower midfield. We were completely satisfied.

The only vegetarian dish on the menu was pretty meager compared to the other dishes. The schnitzels, on the other hand, are absurdly huge, which even irritated the meat eaters at our table. The vegetarian dish consisted of two dumplings with sauce and a huge mountain of lettuce. The staff was nice, the atmosphere is great. But I wouldn't come to eat anymore.

Good, authentic food at a fair price. The giant schnitzel portion is gigantic. Costs almost 20 euros. If you don't get enough, you can't be helped! Yes, the taste could be better, but there's nothing to complain about. Waiters on the ball! The cleaning robot that takes the dishes to the sink in the kitchen is funny. There are also several varieties of Grüner, the Fürth beer. The red beer is from Tucher, but that's fine - one of Tucher's better varieties. Lots of decoration reminiscent of Heissmann and Rassau a.k.a. Waltraud + Mariechen remember, and pithy sayings.

We've been going there for many years and the food is always equally good. Be sure to try the Brauhausschnitzel.

Wir sassen im Cabinet. Da ein Brauhaus typischerweise etwas laut ist, kann man das empfehlen. Die Bedienung war schnell, aufmerksam und gut gelaunt. Die Fassbiere sind richtig gut (hatte Rotbier), das Essen preislich angemessen und reichlich. Der Kaiserschmarrn war wohl eher nicht selbst gemacht, aber locker und gut. Wir hatten einen schönen Abend.

The location is very cozy, you should reserve! The schnitzels are incredibly good and worth a visit for that reason alone.. For fans of the Fürth comedy, this is actually a must after the show. The service is excellent and the prices are right. A Grünerla always works, with that in mind, cheers.
