Delicious, well prepared Greek food. Fresh salad, the meat prepared to perfection can only be recommended.

The food is good, but there are better Greek restaurants in terms of taste (eaten liver and galaktobureko) But the service is excellent.

Penelope is my girlfriend's favorite Greek restaurant. I was there for the first time. What can I say? The food is really good. I had grilled octopus. My girlfriend's classic calamari. Both were really very tasty. The service is also very friendly. The food tastes good, the prices are reasonable and you feel comfortable. What more do you want? Definitely a thumbs up! Unfortunately I neglected to take photos. Catch up on that next time. Update: I've been there again for dinner. Only this time I remembered to take photos. This time it was also very tasty. Small update 1.7.24: Were there again. Everything is always great!

Best Greek there is in the Fürth/Nuremberg area. We have been coming here for 2 decades and have never regretted it. Whether it's delicious starters or the super tasty main courses - everything is delicious. I think we already had everything on the map. What really stands out are the employees: everyone here does everything they can to make you feel comfortable as a guest. Special requests have never been rejected and the restaurant is child-friendly (including Malecke).

For us, simply the best Greek in the whole area! Always friendly, great food! No matter how crowded it is, there is always time for a short conversation... The kiddies always get a little something and are happy...keep it up!!!!

Went to the Penelope restaurant for the first time today and ate gyros with rice and coleslaw from the lunch menu. Meat tender and well seasoned. Portion was generous, I'm actually a good eater, but I had to leave some meat on the plate. Service was very nice and attentive without being intrusive. In short, everything is fine.

It was a really nice and relaxing visit to Penelope. I have known the restaurant since I was a child (I can remember celebrating a birthday there 32 years ago). . Since I now live 200 km away, I saw the Pentecost visit as an event, but it became a highlight. The food is just as delicious as it was back then, the service is just as brilliant. It was nice! (Only the prices changed over the decades ^^). . But it's nice that the atmosphere inside is the same as it was back then, I thought that was particularly great!

It's a very nice restaurant, with a cozy atmosphere. The staff is very accommodating and friendly. Basically you can't really say anything negative. According to him, my friend's souvlaki was very good. He has been here several times and everything is said to be very, very good. My salad, the tzatziki and the fries were really good and I couldn't fault the taste. But let's get to it, which is why I'm deducting two stars 🌟🌟. I ordered grilled squid tubes. They were very soft and tender, just as they should be. But something bothered me. The barbecue pits were very bitter. I had a fear, but hoped I was wrong...unfortunately not. I have an allergy to pork...and especially pork fat. A side effect for me is that I get severe heartburn and diarrhea...and unfortunately I also got this at night. I think it's a shame that everything, souvlaki, fish and what not, is made together on one grill without cleaning it properly. The bitter flavors came from too much fat on the grill grate, which had already been burned too badly. Unfortunately, as much as I would like to do so, I cannot recommend this local fish to anyone who does not eat pork for religious reasons or who cannot tolerate it. I'm not saying that this is fundamentally the case... Unfortunately that was the case for me - which I regret very much. I hope the grill grate is cleaned better in the future. Other places do this...

The food there is simply incredibly tasty! The staff keeps an eye on everything - without seeming intrusive! For my needs, the lighting inside could be a bit brighter, but everyone sees it differently. Absolutely recommended

Was here with my wife for her birthday. Great decor, exquisite ambience. Very large selection. We had numbers 94 and 99. Simply very tasty. We would love to come back, then with our daughter. Helas.

One of the best Greek restaurants we know. The food is very tasty and the service is excellent. Children are welcome and there is a small painting corner. With the starter ouzo there is also a small (of course non-alcoholic) aperitif for the kids. The prices are on the higher side but you get large portions and a great stay with very good food! We always enjoy coming back!!!!

Very nice staff, the main course was really delicious (pork loin in Metaxa sauce). The starters and the salad, however, were quite average. Locally significantly larger on the inside than visible from the outside. Definitely make a reservation!

The Penelope restaurant in Fürth is undoubtedly my favorite Greek restaurant. The food there is simply first class. Every dish, be it moussaka, souvlaki or gyros, is authentically prepared and tastes simply fantastic. The quality of the ingredients is excellent and the portions are generous, so you always leave the table satisfied and full. As far as the service is concerned, I can only praise it. The waitresses are extremely friendly, courteous and always strive to ensure that guests have a pleasant stay. Her friendly nature contributes significantly to the positive atmosphere that characterizes the restaurant. The price-performance ratio is also more than fair. You can get high-quality food here at reasonable prices, which makes the dining experience all the more enjoyable. Last but not least, the ambience is very appealing. The furnishings create a cozy and inviting atmosphere that invites you to linger and enjoy; you always feel comfortable and in good hands here. Overall, I can fully recommend the Penelope. With excellent food, friendly service, fair prices and a great atmosphere, for me it is the perfect address for Greek food.

I was there for the second time and was again very enthusiastic about the food. The first time I ate the heavy fish fillet and the second time the sea bass. Delicious! I'd love to come back :)

It was quite crowded, but I still found it comfortable. The service men were on their toes, the food was good.

Always nice and also tries very hard to offer a place without a reservation. Highly recommended both in the evening and at lunchtime. Very good food and good portions too.

Gefühlt gibt es das "Penelope" schon ewig und es ist nach wie unser Lieblingsgrieche Hier hat der Service und das Essen nie nachgelassen. Hervorragende Qualität, alles sehr lecker, guter Service. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist am Maximum. Es schmeckt fantastisch, aber viel kleiner sollten die Portionen nun wirklich nicht sein. Beim mit Metaxa überbackenen Gyros ist es noch durchaus reichhaltig, aber andere Gerichte fallen schon relativ klein aus, wenn man dies mit anderen griechischen Restaurants vergleicht

Gutes Essen, sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal in einem schönen Restaurant bei meiner Meinung nach etwas zu teuren Preisen! Aber trotzdem empfehlenswert!

Sorry Leute, aber wir können euer Restaurant beim besten Willen nicht empfehlen. Sind aufgrund der vielen guten Bewertungen extra aus Erlangen hierher gefahren was wir uns sparen hätte können. Portionen viel zu klein um seinen Hunger zu stillen, die Preise dafür sehr hoch und völlig übertrieben. Da bleiben wir in Zukunft weiterhin lieber bei unserem Griechen im Ort, da stimmt noch Preis und Leistung/Portionen.

Tisch am Toilettenzugang. Essen versalzen und viel zu teuer für die "Billig"-ware. Erstaunlich, dass man immer werdet auf Bewertungen reinfällt, wie das Restaurant du hoohe Sterne erreicht hat ist mir ein Rätsel. Service war da und nett, mehr aber nicht.

Ein Griechisches Restaurant, wie es vermutlich auch in den 90ern ausgehen hat.(kein negativer Punkt) Das Essen ist 1A ebenso der Service, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder. Preis-Leistung stimmt auch.

Ein wunderbarer Ort wo griechische Küche noch sehr gut schmeckt wenn man dort sich selbst ab 2 Personen angemeldet hat den der Laden ist immer Bums voll Mittags oder abends weil hier auch das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt und das sehr leckere Essen und das sehr aufmerksame Personal eben alles was möglich ist leistet.👍👌

Luogo molto confortevole, servizio eccellente, riso un po’ troppo speziato, ma in compenso antipasto e secondo super buono. Consiglio vivamente di provare le loro specialità, rapporto qualità prezzo eccellente.

Als ersten Tipp. Reserviert bevor ihr spontan herkommt. Es ist normalerweise kein Platz frei ohne Reservierung. Das Ambiente und das Essen waren einwandfrei. Das Zaziki hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Das Fleisch vom Gyros als auch die Medaillons vom Schwein waren zart und gut gewürzt. Die Metaxasauce schmeckt hervorragend. Man bekommt als Begrüßung einen Ouzo und nach dem Essen ebenfalls. Preis-/Leistung waren sehr gut. 5 Sterne von mir

Das Personal ist super freundlich und humorvoll. Haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Waren zu zweit, hatten je ein Getränk und eine Hauptspeise (42€). Hab zwei ouzo gratis dazu, absolut schönes Ambiente und einfach toll :)

Immer wieder köstlich! Reservierung macht unbedingt Sinn. Ein paar Tische gibt es auch vor dem Restaurant. Die Bedienungen sind sehr fleißig, flott unterwegs und stets freundlich. Das Essen kommt in der Regel sehr schnell, schmeckt aber dennoch wie frisch zubereitet.

Découvert par hasard, car nous logions à Fürth. Personnel très sympathique, prix corrects et surtout hyper bien mangé. Nous reviendrons c'est certain.

Das Essen hat leider nach nichts geschmeckt........verschiedene Gerichte: Fleischteller, Gavros,............! .

Liebe Leser, ich hatte ja vor ein paar Wochen geschrieben, dass ich enttäuscht war. Es ist einfach wie im richtigen Leben, es kann nicht immer nur positiv sein. Nachdem ich aber nie nachtragend bin, waren wir am Samstag wieder im Penelope. Es ist und bleibt einfach der beste Grieche, den ich kenne. Meine Ma und ich hatten Seniorenportionen und mein Freund einen toll gegrillten Wolfsbarsch. Dazu hatten wir eine Flasche Wein ("Thema" - sehr zu empfehlen). Wir waren sehr zufrieden und der Service war, wie eigentlich immer, sehr zuvorkommend und nett. Ich musste vor ein paar Wochen einfach ein wenig Luft ablassen. Im Nachhinein war es für mich richtig, aber mein Gewissen sagt etwas anderes. Ihr seid ein super Team, Euer Essen ist einfach nur lecker und man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Wir kommen bald wieder. Danke :-)

Ich war, wie sooft, heute im Penelope. Ich esse immer Seezunge und verlange so 2 Calamri dazu. War immer kein Problem. Dann fragten sie mich, ob ich Zsaziki möchte. Ja sagte ich. Dann kam die Rechnung. Es standen 2 x Zsaziki auf der Rechnung, obwohl wir es nur einmal hatten. Klar habe ich das moniert, auch wenn es 1,60 waren. Meine Mam hatte kein Zsaziki. Für die 4 Calamari, die ich eigentlich nicht wollte, haben sie dann 4,20 extra verlangt. Kannte ich vom Penelope sonst noch nicht. Als ich es angesprochen habe, hat mir ein Angestellter 5 Euro auf den Tisch geknallt und ist wortlos gegangen. Ich bin sehr enttäuscht, weil ich es anders gewohnt bin. So schnell werden wir nicht mehr kommen...schade!

War zum ersten Mal da, aber bestimmt nicht zum letzten Mal. Die Chefin Soße war einfach überragend..

Können wir jederzeit weiterempfehlen. War super lecker. Service nett und zuvorkommend. Lokal gemütlich. Die Lage ist ebenfalls vorzüglich.

Im Urlaub sind wir hier voller Vorfreude eingekehrt. Gutes griechisches Essen ist einfach etwas tolles. Und genau das fanden wir in dem modern-stylischen Restaurant das auch mit tollem Service punkten konnte. Sowohl die Vorspeisen als auch die Hauptgerichte waren von toller Qualität und sehr, sehr lecker. Fleisch, Fisch und Gemüse waren allesamt auf den Punkt und super gewürzt. Weder zu intensiv, noch fehlte etwas. Das Gyros zart und dennoch knusprig-Genau so kennen wir das aus Rhodos oder Kreta. Wer gerne sehr gut griechisch essen möchte sollte das Penelope besuchen. Und vorsichtshalber reservieren, viele wissen was sie hier gutes erwartet ;) Gern wieder!

Seit über 30 Jahren ist das Penelope unser Lieblingsgrieche. Hervorragende Küche, toller Service und ein sehr ansprechendes Ambiente, gepaart mit viel Herzlichkeit der Besitzer, weiter so!!!

Super lecker und sehr freundlich! Sehr freundlich auch zu Kindern und Familien. Das Essen war sehr schmackhaft, gut gewürzt und reichlich. Das Ambiente war auch gut, es war voll aber nicht übermäßig laut, das ist uns sehr positiv aufgefallen. Uneingeschränkt Empfehlenswert

Wir haben hier während der Pandemie oft etwas zum Abendessen abgeholt und auch jetzt holen wir ab und zu noch etwas ab. Uns schmecken die Gerichte sehr gut. Wir essen meist Gyros, Kalamari und Souvlaki. Fleisch war immer sehr lecker und die Kalamari besonders hervorragend, sehr dünn paniert und überhaupt nicht zäh. Die Portionen sind reichlich und groß. Auch bei den Vorspeisen haben wir schon einiges ausprobiert, unser Favorit ist bisher der Feta nach Art des Hauses. Das Personal war immer sehr freundlich und der Service sehr schnell.

ich war am 4.9.2021 in dem Restaurant. Das Beste an dem Tag war die DG-Musik auf der Fürther Freiheit. Der Salat lieblos, mit 2 Oliven und 2 Peperoni aus der Dose. Dressig sicherlich ein Fertigprodukt. Kräuter scheint man nicht zu kennen. Die Hauptspeise verbrannte Leber, die auch so schmeckte. Der Rest Fleisch fade, salzig. Wenigstens war das Fleisch nicht noch zäh. Gyros genauso, hätte auch irgend ein anderes Fleisch sein können. Und Also für mich der zweitschlechteste Grieche aller Zeiten. Und die Bedienung völlig verpeilt, wir wurden 3,4 Mal gefragt, ob wir schon bestellt hätten. Und von der griechischen Freundlichkeit die man so kennt, keine Spur. Wie das Restaurant so hoch gelobt werden kann, ist mir ein Rätsel. Sind die Ansprüche der Fürther so gering ?
