Not really. Why? Because then I wouldn't be able to get a seat. One of the best Greek restaurants within a 50-km radius. The souvlaki skewer was tender and soft, which I highly recommend for other dishes, too, whether fish, meat, or veggie. The dessert was excellent.

Unfortunately, I have to voice a criticism! It's unacceptable that a restaurant advertises its opening hours until 10:30 p.m., but closes its kitchen at 9:20 p.m., which isn't visible anywhere (numerous signs). Great business, apparently too many customers and they're already sold out, or the service/kitchen is already exhausted?!

We've been regulars at Wassili and his team's for years. It's not like visiting a restaurant. It's like a mini vacation in Greece with friends and family. The first time our little one came along, and we were wondering what age children in Greece start eating tzatziki, he had almost eaten the first scoop 😁 We always enjoy coming back here. The service was very good. The food was okay. The meat was very well cooked, but I've had better sauce elsewhere. And the salad dressing definitely wasn't homemade either.

A lovely, cozy restaurant, and you can even eat outside in front of the building if the weather permits. The food was very good; it's been a long time since we've had tasty fries. The only drawback is the tripping hazard leading to the women's restroom. We'll definitely eat there again.

Beautifully furnished restaurant in the center of Fürth. Friendly service and good food. The gyros was good but should have been crispier to compete with the top Greeks in the region. But the calamari was top class. The Saganaki was the best of all the Greeks we have visited so far. The other dish was also great. Sanitary facilities accessible via stairs.

Everything is perfect, we only come here every few months, but the quality is always very good. Service is very good. Orders are taken quickly and food arrives after a short wait. Bifteki is absolutely great. Simply great, keep it up!

Penelope is my girlfriend's favorite Greek restaurant. I was there for the first time. What can I say? The food is really good. I had grilled octopus. My girlfriend's classic calamari. Both were really very tasty. The service is also very friendly. The food tastes good, the prices are reasonable and you feel good. What more could you want? Definitely a thumbs up! Unfortunately I neglected to take photos. Catch up on that next time. Update: I've been there again for dinner. Only this time I remembered to take photos. This time it was also very tasty. I've been going here regularly for more than 20 years. The food is always very good here and has been for a long time. You can taste the freshness and quality of the food with every bite. The ambience has also been renovated very well, it is a very nice and great ambience. On some summer days the air inside may be a little worse but still acceptable. The prices have of course also increased over the years, and for most dishes it's really okay, but sometimes you have the feeling that less ends up on your plate. But it could just be your own feeling. The employees are always friendly and courteous. If you want to be served very good Greek food, you should definitely come here. A reservation is recommended 😊 For starters we had the house garlic bread, an octupus salad, calamari fritti with vegetable rice and a grilled plate with gyros, suflaki, steak and fries. There was also a wine spritzer and a Cola Weizen. We paid a total of around €66.

Although rather inconspicuous from the outside, it is a very spacious, nicely furnished restaurant. At first we were greeted very friendly. The restaurant is always busy, but you can usually get a table even without a reservation. Ouzo and "children's schnapps" are served free of charge. The food is really excellent. The meat and fries/rice were very well seasoned, the calamari was buttery and the tzatziki was very aromatic. The plates are well filled and if you want you can also get free ice cream. The ambience is nice, as the restaurant is divided into several rooms, you don't feel like you're in one big room with all the other guests. My personal favorite Greek so far.

Kellner anstatt zu bedienen im aussenbereich lieber um die Ecke gehen und rauchen telefonieren oder SMS schreiben Kunde sitz da und kommt keiner zu bestellen... no go nicht nochmal essen geschmacklich geht nicht mehr wie früher ... hatte nach der Portion noch Hunger. andere fragen Reis oder pommes keine frage gelangweilt personal ... kommen schön wieder Gäste. bifteki mit irgendwas gewürzt wo auf dem fleisch nix zu suchen hat .... Majoran.... nach frage wie es war kam keine Entschuldigung oder ähnliches ... wir kommen nicht wieder

Well located restaurant on the edge of a park. Seating available in front of the restaurant. Beautiful spacious guest rooms. Still comfortable. The food can consistently be described as very good. Prices appropriate for the quality and quantity of the food. There is also nothing to complain about when it comes to service. For me it's the first choice when it comes to Greek food in Fürth. The only disadvantage: There is little or no parking space for drivers directly in front of the restaurant.

With all these good reviews for the Penelope, no further review is actually needed. And yet! This review is a must. For us, Penelope is the best Greek restaurant in Middle Franconia. That's why we were there again yesterday. I had the pork liver with fried onions. And you can go wrong with a dish like this. But not in Penelope. The liver was cross and tender inside. My wife had gyros with calamari. As always, excellent. And be sure to try the Greek red wine. Not because of Udo Jürgen's "Greek wine", but because Greek wine, especially red wine, is completely underestimated. The III Cuvee and the Thema are highly recommended in Penelope. We don't really need to talk about the service at Penelope, it's simply outstanding. Starting with the manager of the house, who takes over the cashier, through to the other service staff. Friendly, nice, attentive and quick. So look forward to a lovely Greek evening.

Host was just terrible, poor skills overall. Seated 6 persons then told us we had 1:15mins to eat dinner wirh reservations. We left right after.

Best Greek there is in the Fürth/Nuremberg area. We have been coming here for 2 decades and have never regretted it. Whether it's delicious starters or the super tasty main courses - everything is delicious. I think we already had everything on the map. What really stands out are the employees: everyone here does everything they can to make you feel comfortable as a guest. Special requests have never been rejected and the restaurant is child-friendly (including Malecke).

Went to the Penelope restaurant for the first time today and ate gyros with rice and coleslaw from the lunch menu. Meat tender and well seasoned. Portion was generous, I'm actually a good eater, but I had to leave some meat on the plate. Service was very nice and attentive without being intrusive. In short, everything is fine.

This is my second family; It couldn't be more positive, warm and friendly! And that since 1988!!!!!!!!!! Always more than a recommendation!

It was a really nice and relaxing visit to Penelope. I have known the restaurant since I was a child (I can remember celebrating a birthday there 32 years ago). . Since I now live 200 km away, I saw the Pentecost visit as an event, but it became a highlight. The food is just as delicious as it was back then, the service is just as brilliant. It was nice! (Only the prices changed over the decades ^^). . But it's nice that the atmosphere inside is the same as it was back then, I thought that was particularly great!
