Yesterday we were at Poseidon Essen for the first time, the decor looks modern and is really very nice. Parking spaces are available in the Flair parking garage, the owner is very nice. Every guest gets Ouzo shots on the house with their order. The food took a while to arrive as it was busy and there were few employees, but it wasn't a tragedy. Our table ordered as a starter, several saganaki and as a main course, the turkey schnitzel and the Poseidon platter, consisting of calamari, scampis and tongue fillet. The quality of the food is really wow, it was incredibly tasty, the best squid rings I've ever eaten, the schnitzel was also very, very tasty. In the photos on the internet, the portions seem very small, but they were actually very sufficient, we were all full and satisfied. For dessert we had galaktoburiko and other things, it was very powerful but very tasty, the restaurant is child-friendly, the toilets are clean, the prices are really more than fair, the only drawback was that there was no air conditioning, which is why we sweated extremely.. For a place like this, it's actually a must to have one since it's in the attic.

I always try to be objective, unacceptably small portions especially the courgettes, no air conditioning on July 21st and no possibility to pay by card. Tasty and clean but the above is enough to prevent us from coming again.

Every time you get a warm welcome, it's like you're visiting friends. The whole team is very competent, attentive and incredibly friendly. It's often time for a nice, casual chat. The food is excellent and the wine is delicious every time! You can taste that cooking is done with love and passion. The portions are just right and you will always be full. Nobody leaves here hungry and the ouzo on the house creates a good atmosphere :) Price/performance is also right. Great ambience, very nice, elegant furnishings and super clean. My absolute favorite Greek. Please continue in the same way!

We've been to Poseidon several times before, but unfortunately the service wasn't that good last time. The order was taken quickly, but it took a long time for the food to actually arrive. Food was good in itself, but nothing special. If the service improves again, you can happily recommend the Poseidon to others.

Best Greek in Fürth and the surrounding area!

The elevator ride to the third floor was a bit adventurous, but it was worth it. Eating the wrong food was replaced immediately without asking. The leg of lamb was very easy to remove from the bone.

Food is delicious. Points deducted for not enough rice and tzatziki... Ate squid for the first time in over 40 years....fantastic!!!! View is also pleasant.

Totally cozy on the third floor with a beautiful view of the city and furnished with style. Family restaurateurs with very friendly service. Delicious. You'll be happy to come back here.

Restaurant in the German city of Fürth. Beautiful location, nice atmosphere. We had a lovely evening with the group. Refined cuisine, with a touch of Mediterranean cuisine. Place to visit without hesitation.

Modern Greek cuisine with a view of the theater! An authentic Greek is hard to find in this country, but for me this is still the closest! The food tastes fresh and there is a good selection of Greek wines. Reservations are advisable in the evening

Very chic Greek restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. The food was very good, the boss was very nice and the view in the evening through the large skylights was very nice. We were there with 8 people and were served very well. If you want to park your car in the Flair car park (recommended), you should drive all the way down to the Madrid parking level and then almost to the exit there. The elevator to the restaurant is right there. And the signs down there only lead to the staircase/elevator to the shopping center, which is closed after 8 p.m. just like the staircase/elevator there.

Very nice restaurant with great service, really tasty food and a very friendly and courteous boss. I'll definitely go there again, even if it's not exactly around the corner... The only minus point - unfortunately there's no beer on tap, but otherwise absolutely TOP

Restaurant on the 3rd floor. With elevator or stairs. From the window on one side there is a beautiful view of the meadow. Ambience very nice. Service very friendly. We felt very welcome as guests. Eat good. Souvlaki rather larger pieces, lean. I like it better this way than the version with smaller, fattier pieces of pork neck. Fries crispy and not greasy. Salad dressing could be spicier. Everything was beautifully presented, especially the appetizer platter. Clear recommendation.

We had a great evening at Poseidon with our daughter this evening .We're on holiday here for 3 days and really enjoy eating Greek food Since we come from North Rhine-Westphalia and don't know our way around Fürth, we googled the internet for a good Greek restaurant. The Poseidon had a lot of good reviews and we chose this restaurant. Without a reservation, we were immediately greeted warmly and then taken to a free table. The restaurant was very busy, the atmosphere was really great, you immediately felt at home. The boss and all the staff were very nice and very friendly. The food was super tasty and totally plentiful. We love the Greek culture, especially the food, but we have never eaten Greek so well. Super tasty, super nice atmosphere. Coming from Kandel (Rhineland Palatinate) to visit our son in Nuremberg. Then we are guests here every time and enjoy it to the fullest. Soon again, at the end of April... we're really looking forward to it.

Were here again today. Was a very full restaurant. Luckily I had reserved a table in advance. Unfortunately, some guests had to leave because they hadn't made a reservation. Meaning was very friendly, but we had to ask a few times where the things we ordered were. There was a lot going on too.

Service was catastrophic, we had to wait forever until drinks and later food were brought. Then the table and floor are very dirty, there are fries under the tables, etc. The food tastes like nothing and the portions are extremely small. In general, everything here has deteriorated a lot and is no longer recommended, I don't come here anymore.

Hier wird Service ganz groß geschrieben. Wir waren zweimal da und wirklich alle Personen, die uns bedient haben waren immer aufmerksam und sehr freundlich. Vor allem die Chefin ist eine so liebe und freundliche Person, die einem den Aufenthalt nochmal verschönert. Aber auch das Essen war bisher immer sehr lecker. Das Ambiente ist ebenfalls wunderschön und gemütlich. Man bleibt gerne länger sitzen, bestellt noch Nachtisch, Kaffee oder Cocktails. Für mich die erste Adresse, wenn man in Fürth griechisch Essen gehen möchte.

Mein Lieblings-Grieche in Fürth 😊 So muss griechisches Essen sein! Wir haben Giros, Suvlaki, Zuzuki und Calamares von der Mittagskarte probiert. Alles sehr lecker! Als Vorspeise hatten wir gegrillte Peperoni - auch sehr gut. Schönes Ambiente, netter Service. Was will man mehr?

Essen war lecker - Portionen reichlich - aufmerksamer und sehr freundlicher Service

Heute zum ersten Mal zum essen dort gewesen. Die Atmosphäre wirklich toll. Ich wurde herzlich begrüßt. Die Bedienungen waren sehr zuvorkommend und aufmerksam. Zuerst dachte ich, dass die Portionen etwas klein sind, aber das täuscht auf den großen Tellern. Zur Vorspeise hatte ich das Knoblauchbrot mit Tomaten und zur Hauptspeise Gyros Kalamari. Beide Gerichte waren wirklich gut. Auch die sanitären Anlagen waren sauber. Ich würde jeder Zeit wiederkommen. Danke für den schönen Abend.

Leider kamen wir im dunklen an und konnte den Ausblick vom dritten Stock nicht genießen aber die Tische und Stühle, Einrichtung waren sehr gemütlich. In der Vorweihnachtszeit ist halt sehr viel los aber das Personal sehr freundlich und das Essen war schnell da. Leckere Speisen und Getränke, gerne wieder.

Vor Kurzem war ich mit einem Freund spontan im Poseidon zum Essen. Auch ohne Reservierung haben wir einen schönen Fensterplatz bekommen. Der Service war unglaublich flott, sehr nett und äußerst zuvorkommend. Das Essen war genau meins: knuspriges Gyros, sehr gute Oliven - es hat hervorragend geschmeckt. Alles in allem vergebe ich verdiente 5*. Ich kann das Poseidon sehr empfehlen. Deshalb habe ich gleich für Dezember einen Tisch für eine Familienfeier bestellt.

Seit vielen Jahren sind wir nun Stammgäste im Restaurant Poseidon. Zeit ein paar Worte zu Papier zu bringen. Das Poseidon liegt in der fürther Innenstand oberhalb des neu eröffneten FLAIR Einkaufszentrums. Das Lokal ist bequem per Fahrstuhl oder Treppe zu erreichen. Durch die obere Lage hat meinen einen schönen rundum Blick. Das Lokal ist stimmig und modern eingerichtet. Samstag Abends ist es in der Regel ausgebucht. Dann herrscht das pure Leben im Lokal. Besonders positiv ist das man dort problemlos mit Kindern hingehen kann. Denn es sind meistens welche da, man hat nicht das Gefühl das diese störend sind. Man muss sich jedoch auch bewusst sein das es mitunter sehr laut werden kann. Davon lässt sich der Service aber nicht verunsichern. Schnell und routiniert (aber nicht abgefertigt) werden Speisekarte, Getränke und Gerichte gereicht. Oft nimmt sich die Chefin ein paar Minuten Zeit für einen kleinen Plausch, was die freundliche und offene Atmosphäre intensiviert. Die Speisen sind wie man es erwartet üppig aber nicht überladen. Die Gerichte sind schick angerichtet. Nichts wirkt lieblos oder abgefertigt. Im Restaurantbereich steht auch ein Klavier. Einmal hatten wir das Glück das ein Student zum üben anwesend war. Jemand der das Klavier bespielt würde ich mir öfters wünschen! Alles in allem bekommt man im Poseidon alles was das herz begehrt. Gute Stimmung, toller Service, reichhaltige und wirklich leckerer Speisen. Immer wieder gerne!

Das bestellte Essen kam eine Stunde zu spät und nur noch lauwarm, teils kalt bei uns an. Die Vorspeisenplatte hatte nichts mit der Beschreibung zu tun. Den Oktopussalat suchten wir vergebens. Die wenigen Pommes waren kalt, ohne Salz und lätschig. Die Portionen waren eher klein und dafür keinesfalls ihren Preis wert. Trotz Hunger konnten wir nur die Hälfte der Gyros essen, da sie total überwürzt waren. Schade...

Wir waren mit unseren beiden Kindern in Fürth, entdeckten das Poseidon und waren sicher: das nächste Mal in Fürth kommen wir wieder hierher. Freundlich, sehr gute griechische Küche, guter Rotwein: so muss Urlaub!

Gutes griechisches Restaurant in der dritten Etage des Citycenters. Schöner Ausblick über Fürth. Gutes Essen. Wir hatten Kälte Vorspeisenplatte, Grillteller und Kalamari und Seezunge. Service freundlich. Wir waren zufrieden

Beim Essen habe ich im Reis ein langes schwarzes Haar im Reis endeckt. Der Kellner hat sich dafür weder entschuldigt noch ein Preisnachlass gemacht. Außerdem war es zu laut wegen mehreren betrunken Menschen

Nach einiger Zeit mussten wir hier, wegen der guten Erfahrung, wieder einkehren. Das Lokal war sehr gut besucht und wir bekamen nur mit Not einen Platz. Wieder war der Service sehr, sehr freundlich. Wir bestellten nach dem Ouzo aufs Haus die gegrillten Kalamari und Gyros Kalamaria. Beide Gerichte waren sehr schön angerichtet, die gegrillten Kalamari mit Reis nicht ausreichend gewürzt, Das Gyros zu trocken aber gut portioniert. Allerdings war das Tsatsiki zum niederknien! Wir haben gut gegessen, kommen aber das nächste Mal außerhalb der Stoßzeiten unter der Woche!
