Wale and his team simply do a great job. From the first second of planning to the execution of my 30th birthday. You feel in good hands here. The kitchen is great. Fresh food and delicious Greek dishes, just the way you want it. The selection of drinks is also great and the prices overall are very fair. Big compliments to the entire team, we'll be back! Clear RECOMMENDATION for a special evening with the best service & Greek cuisine!

It was my first time in this Greek restaurant. I ate gyros gratinated with Metaxa sauce. I didn't taste much of the sauce, but the gyros were excellent. A bit too much oil for my taste, but ok, every cook works a little differently. The staff is super nice and accommodating. The family probably comes from Preveza, relatively close to my favorite Greek vacation spot. When I found out, my head immediately went crazy and felt like I had been transported to the beach. I'll go back and eat something different. Oh yes, and then there is an absolute rarity in the restaurant that immediately caught my eye. If you want to know what it is about, you have to try it yourself 😅👍🏽.

Heute Freitag Abend war ich das erste Mal, seit der Betreiber gewechselt hat, mal wieder im Alpha. Wir haben für 19 Uhr reserviert und waren pünktlich. Trotz Reservierung wurde uns unmotiviert in dem halb leeren Lokal ein unschöner Tisch zugewiesen. Unsere Nachfrage zu den ca acht Flaschenweinen brachte die junge Bedienung und die ältere Barbesetzung an den Rand des Wissenstandes. Auch der Lokalbetreiber konnte seine Weine nicht einordnen. Irgendwie fragwürdig. Wir hatten drei Vorspeisen drei Hauptgerichte und einen Nachtisch typische Gerichte bei einem Griechen in Deutschland. Das Essen war grundsätzlich in Ordnung, wenn auch nicht besonders erwähnenswert. Dem gesamten Team fehlt es an Leidenschaft zum Empfangen, Beraten, Bedienen und Kochen. Wir kommen leider nicht wieder. Wir vermissen das Herzblut von früher....

Nice Greek restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere. The food is typical like in other Greek restaurants. Everything tasted very good, the gyros were pleasantly tender. Salmon and tongue fillet very tender and juicy. Everything well seasoned. Portion size is appropriate. Delicious dessert. The price is not cheap, but everything is still within reasonable limits. Very friendly staff.

Good food but definitely not enough of the fish dishes on the plate for the price. The fish eaters had to go out hungry. It's never happened to us with the Greeks

Courteous service, delicious specialties and short waiting times - easily accessible despite the construction site. We really liked the interior design! The meat and calamari were perfectly cooked and juicy. We were politely asked about any further requests and the quality of the new type of calamari. It couldn't be better, we'd love to come back!

Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt. Die Fleischportion war in Ordnung aber zwei von uns hatten Tintenfisch und waren nach dem essen noch hungrig. Die Menge war sehr überschaubar und wenn man die Preise in Relation sieht, war die Portion wirklich zu klein. Wir fanden es auch nicht schön, dass über dem Tisch ein Weinstock rankt, dessen Trauben überreif sind und deshalb vor Wespen wimmelt, die ständig auf den Tisch gefallen sind. Die Trauben sollten dringend entfernt werden. Für Allergiker eine Katastrophe.

Service was very good, i.e. extremely friendly and attentive, both the young lady and the young man were very accommodating.. I think they are also siblings and overall a pure family business.. which I generally think is very good The selection is interesting, there is a daily menu with, for example, Greek bruschetta or a burger in pita bread... and of course a menu with the usual Greek dishes. We ordered the bruschetta, the zucchini meatballs, then the Alpha Burger and gyro calamari. No, crazy combo that we were really looking forward to. The beer garden and especially the wine pergola are really inviting and there are an acceptable number of seats... so not too many and not too tight. The food came quickly, the zucchini meatballs were definitely homemade I say, which is good, and above all a welcome change from the standard starters you get at all the other Greeks, plus it was very tasty with the garlic bread. The bruschetta was a great idea... 2 small pita cakes were garnished with pepperoni, olives, feta and garlic... really great, you should try it! The side salad for the gyros calamari came first... I have no idea what happened yesterday, I was really hungry and was really grateful that our food came so quickly one after the other without being intrusive or too quick! Really high praise for the kitchen and service, I would like to have the same experience elsewhere! The burger was great, plus fries for the price under €10, you can't complain... on the contrary, I think it's a bargain and you should definitely try it Try out.. Corfu plate, gyros was actually one of the best I've ever eaten!! When it comes to calamari, I would also say that it is not an industrial product but actually freshly cut and breaded. Which Greek restaurant can still get that like that today... really hats off to the fact that there is real craftsmanship here. We paid €58 including drinks, of which a good 10% was a tip, which I consider to be very fair overall! We'll definitely come by with the whole family, the beer garden is great, the food is delicious, service is top, the price is absolutely right... Finally Burgfarrnbach has a really good Greek restaurant that you can go to more often!!! 👍

So... where do I start with my criticism. My wife ordered the grilled calamari and scampi, first she got fried calamari instead then... "grilled" from the pan!!! I was missing the rice, which was then added later. Portions were “manageable”. Then my wife's drink was empty... only after what felt like an eternity (and after shouting) did she get another one. The restaurant was occupied by only one other table, and yet none of the service staff felt it necessary to take care of the guests. Oh yes, I only got the Uzo after asking twice. Thank you, that was the second chance/visit, but unfortunately I can't recommend it!!! Prices aren't exactly cheap either and definitely not for that! The answer to my review is, with all due respect, not at all justified and in some places it is outrageous. Firstly, the errors with service, food and drinks are their fault... and not my wife's and my fault. Secondly, using her insinuation to distract from her shortcomings is a very unprofessional reaction!!! And by the way, it wasn't our first visit to them. Unfortunately, the first person on the service side, and that was another employee, was very unfriendly on site, to put it politely! My conclusion: your institution cannot handle legitimate criticism! The one star is due to how we deal with criticism, in the restaurant, and with negative reviews!!! By the way, I just noticed that they must have mixed me up, our visit to them was on Saturday shortly after 8 p.m. Please think a little better! You just didn't understand it, your reaction to my, our criticism says everything about you and your dealings with customers. Apparently we're not the only ones you treat like this, based on the reviews and in your restaurant. We also experienced them in the restaurant. This is absolutely unprofessional!!! In the end they are only harming themselves.

Very good food, service was good and it was nice to sit outside with the wine. You can even spot peregrine falcons at the nearby tower.

Great Greek restaurant with very tasty food. The cozy arbor in the backyard in particular has a great atmosphere and is highly recommended, even if you want to stay longer. We had Greek-style burgers and grilled calamari with suvlaki from the daily menu. Everything was on point, we enjoyed it very much. We will be back. Thank you for the lovely evening.

Small but fine Greek. Fast and friendly service, tasty dishes attractively prepared and served. Quiet outdoor area and appealing in the guest room. Hopefully the restaurant will survive the renovation work on Würzburger Straße until 04/25. It's easy to get there on foot, but the location isn't central, out in Burgfarrnbach. If possible, drive to the retirement home, it's worth it.

Went there again for dinner with friends (the first time since it came under new management). Conclusion: Menu almost like its predecessor, prices within limits, taste good and portion sizes are ok. For me the only drawback is the Giros, unfortunately not from the Girosspiess like in other restaurants but rather sliced ​​and apparently fried meat. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Once and never again, we were there today at 6 p.m., but no one was there - restaurant closed :-( So we drove 20 km there for free. NO sign that says it's closed today (it says the day of rest is Monday). We were there according to the opening times (open from 5 p.m.) there an hour later and no one was there! Five more people came and were surprised that there was no sign saying that it was closed, sick, or even on vacation?

Wir waren heute das erste Mal hier, da ich zu Weihnachten einen Gutschein bekommen habe. Das Essen ist hervorragend, die Speisekarte ist sehr vielfältig. Die neue Leitung macht das toll und wir haben uns alle total willkommen gefühlt!

Der neue Pächter ist sehr freundlich und hat einen frischen Wind in das Restaurant gebracht. Der Service ist schnell und sehr zuvorkommend. Das Essen ist mega lecker und die Portionen sind sehr großzügig. Ich komme sehr gerne wieder! Hier fühlt man sich wohl.

Meine Freunde und ich sind zum ersten Mal ins Alpha Restaurant. Schon als wir angekommen sind, waren die Kellner Mega freundlich. Die authentische Atmosphäre, kombiniert mit herzlicher Gastfreundschaft, hat unseren Besuch zu etwas Besonderem gemacht. Die Gerichte waren köstlich zubereitet und spiegelten die Vielfalt der griechischen Küche perfekt wider. Besonders beeindruckt hat mich die Frische der Zutaten und die liebevolle Zubereitung. Der Service war aufmerksam, und das Personal zeigte eine beeindruckende Kenntnis der Speisekarte. Insgesamt eine empfehlenswerte Adresse für alle, die echte griechische Gaumenfreuden suchen!

Vor dem Essen Uzo bestellt 2 mal dann bekommst du zur Antwort ich habe im Moment ca 50 essen das ist mir wichtiger. Lieber Kellner das ist die falsche und unfreundliche Antwort. Das geht überhaupt nicht.

Das Alpha wurde erst kürzlich eröffnet und von innen komplett neu eingerichtet. Es sieht wunderschön aus und die Bedienung ist sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr gut und preislich vollkommen in Ordnung. Einzig die Musik würde ich von einem normalen Radiosender auf eine eigene Playlist ändern damit keine Werbung kommt 😄 5/5 wir kommen gerne wieder.

Bin nur im Gastgarten gesessen. Da es 21:35 war ( und die Küche um 21:30 geschlossen hatte) hatte ich nur noch einen Nachtisch und ein Getränk zu mir genommen. Ambiente ok. Kellner sehr freundlich. Nachtisch lecker. Preis ok.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant, mit einem wunderschönen Ambiente im Hinterhof. Sehr zuvorkommende Bedienung, normale Preise ( was ist heute noch günstig? ), bei mittelgroßen bis großen Portionen. Was will man mehr? Dort werde ich öfters einkehren.

Ich kannn es wirklich nur weiterempfehlen. Wir haben gegessen Oktopus vom Grill, Taramas, Knoblauchbaguette, Pangsius Filet, Olymp-Platte. Wirklich sehr lecker und guter Service, sehr schöner Biergarten. Wir kommen wieder.

Ein kleiner Grieche in einem recht modernen Ambiente. Das Essen war sehr gut. Der Service schien ein bisschen überfordert und nicht ganz in Kenntnis der Karte zu sein. Aber alles in einem eine klare 4 von 5. Kann man empfehlen.

Ein Ambiente dass Gemütlichkeit und ruhe ausstrahlt. Komplett Renoviertes Restaurant im Jahr 2020. Köstliche griechische Küche mit wechselnden Wochengerichten. Große Auswahl an griechischen Weinen. Ein Treffpunkt für jedes Alter. Ideal auch für Gruppen im gemütlichen Nebenzimmer.

Da muss man einfach hin und alles auf sich wirken lassen aber icht muss sagen das wird mein Stammlokal das Essen ist der Wahnsinn die Bedienung so freundlich und nett man fühlt sich als wäre man zuhause unter Freunden würde auch 10 Sterne geben

Griechisches Restaurant Alpha. Richtig gutes Essen. Bifteki mit Metaxa war super. Das Gasthaus kann man bedenkenlos mal ausprobieren.
