I would have loved to give it more stars, but unfortunately, I can't recommend the restaurant. The two of us stumbled upon Haru using a voucher book. Since the voucher book only allowed you to choose from three different sushi variations, none of which appealed to us, we chose from the regular menu – unfortunately, there wasn't any discount on that. The papaya salad was okay – but nothing special. The mushrooms in the salmon main course were unfortunately burnt. The sushi was okay – but also nothing exceptional. We also tried the spinach salad, which was unfortunately very sandy. The only dish I really recommend was the ceviche. All in all, the value for money is not at all good. To make matters worse, the waitresses were both unfriendly and very inattentive – even though we'd been sitting there for almost an hour with empty glasses, we weren't asked if we wanted anything else to drink. We also had to order the dessert menu on our own initiative. It should also be noted that the restaurant was never fully booked.
Tasty food in a true Italian restaurant. Run by Italians, serving traditional dishes. Superlative coffee. There's a lovely pastry shop with some very nice mini pastries, but we haven't tried them.
Beautiful restaurant, fantastic location. Fast and friendly service, and the apple strudel baked on-site in the morning. Quality you can taste. I'd go back anytime.
The most positive thing I can say about the restaurant: "I got something to eat!" The pasta was sensationally bland, and the vitello tonnato certainly won't win any awards. This is all the more annoying given that the prices are a bit above the usual range.
Absolutely the best Thai restaurant for miles around! 😍 The food is incredibly delicious, and I'm always happy to come here! The staff are incredibly friendly and accommodating! ☺️ I'll be back again and again.
I cycled 20 km here just to try this restaurant. I found myself standing in front of a locked door. Google says it's open, and there's no indication on their website that it's closed. It took me over an hour to get there and over an hour back. A reference to Google and the website would have taken two minutes. So the 1 star is very, very well deserved!
Conclusion:
I won't eat anywhere again where prices aren't properly adjusted downwards. These "restaurateurs" are laughing at us!
How can it be that I close my business for an entire month in August/September? These are the busiest months of the ENTIRE YEAR!! Hikers, cyclists, walkers, etc. galore, and they completely shut down the place and go on vacation. How does that work? Quite simply: they make money all year round, NON-STOP! Two other Greek restaurants and one German restaurant in the area were also closed in August/September! Wake up, everyone, they're just making fun of us, and I'll bet my ass it won't be long before they all return from vacation, and the dishes will be €2-3 more expensive again. And honestly, you all deserve it because you still go there!
