Excellent knuckle of pork, frozen potato salad. For €15, it's an absolute bargain! The beer is, as expected, excellent, whether Tegernseer Hell or Schneider Weisse. Even with larger groups, you can get a seat quickly within a few minutes, and food and drinks are delivered promptly.

Great place. Typical German. Experience guaranteed. Food is great. Gets really crowded on good weather and weekends and holidays. Bier is excellent!

Our experience at this restaurant was absolutely disappointing. We were sitting outside on the terrace when it suddenly started to rain. Instead of offering us all a seat inside, a restaurant employee asked some guests to sit at other people's tables to make room, completely ignoring us. It felt like we were being passed over simply because we were foreigners. When I finally said we wanted to leave and pay, the employee gave me a strange look and acted extremely rudely. No apology, not a shred of courtesy. The service was discriminatory and unprofessional. We will never visit this restaurant again and cannot recommend it to anyone. There are many other places that treat their guests with respect, regardless of their origin.

You can still eat well and cheaply here.

The Tegernseer Bräustüberl is an institution and a showcase of Bavarian hospitality! A sunny terrace, cozy dining rooms, traditional dishes that are not only beautifully prepared but also served promptly... The waiters are all very motivated and friendly. We received excellent service from Ruslan. We remembered his name from the bill... ;) We can only congratulate Tegernsee on this excellent restaurant and recommend us guests to the truly reasonable prices... Thank you!

Delicious food at fair prices! Ms. Fatma is an absolute asset—always friendly, hardworking, and smiling. It's a shame that some of the older waitresses were so impatient and ignored our questions. This mars the otherwise good impression. But we'll gladly come back for the food and Ms. Fatma.

Authentic Bavarian restaurant, beautifully situated on the lake

A wonderful brewery pub on Lake Tegernsee. Fair prices, and the food is delicious, too. A beer (Hoibe) for €3.30 and a liter (Mass) for €6.60 are prices you can't say no to. Especially since the house beer tastes very good, too. The servers are also very friendly. If you're on Lake Tegernsee and enjoy simple Bavarian cuisine and Bavarian beer, you should definitely stop by. This isn't for the chic crowd. They don't serve wine or Aperol.

It was very busy this weekend. The food still came very quickly. They brought out a different side dish without asking if you wanted it.

Whenever we vacation in Bad Wiessee, a visit to the Bräustüberl is always a must. The food and beer are delicious. The service is always quick and friendly. In nice weather and at lunchtime, however, you may have to wait even if a table becomes available. If you haven't visited the Bräustüberl, you've never been to Tegernsee. We'd love to come back.

We were at Tegernsee with our hiking group for the third time and, as always, at the Bräustüberl. Wednesday evening and Father's Day, everything was very good as usual. The exception was the manager, who was very unfriendly to us this time. We spent almost €1,400 at the Bräustüberl (two visits, which is quite reasonable for our small group), so it wouldn't be too much to ask for a bit of respect. Other inns managed it too and (I think) were more pleased with our visit. I hope this was just an exception, because we'll be happy to come back. Today I had lunch with a friend in this restaurant. There were free tables on the veranda (Sunday), I drank dark beer, 5 points. I ordered pork knuckle, I almost swallowed my fingers. Sad crust, tender meat inside. The side dish was very interesting boiled potatoes with lightly salted cucumbers, all this was combined with something similar to potato salad, but without mayonnaise. Everything was super tasty. The prices were a pleasant surprise for two beers and two legs we paid 34 euros. By the way, fast food is more expensive in Munich. In general, I recommend it to everyone, you will not regret it. It is easier to leave the car in the parking lot on the other side of the building, we did not pay anything for the car. Highly recommended. The beer is excellent, but the food still has room for improvement. The knuckle of pork was good. The Wiener schnitzel with potatoes wasn't really our style.

Anytime. Today it was very busy, but our waitress was still very friendly and attentive. One minor annoyance: the parking lot was hopelessly overcrowded, but we were still able to get a parking ticket and get in.

Today we had perfect weather, and after a day outdoors hiking or by the water, there is nothing better than finishing here with a good meal from the classic Bavarian cuisine and a delicious beer.

The Braustüberl am Tegernsee is a lovely, traditional restaurant with plenty of seating – both inside and outside in the large beer garden. The beer is truly excellent and the prices are absolutely fair. Unfortunately, I wasn't quite as impressed with the food – the prices are reasonable, but there's still room for improvement in terms of taste and quality. The staff was prompt and attentive, but you can tell it's quite hectic. In conclusion: I'd happily return for a delicious beer in a great atmosphere. A slight improvement in the food quality would be welcome.

A very nice, large brewery. However, it was very loud, making it difficult to hear the person across the hall. A 0.5 liter of beer for €3.30 was unexpectedly cheap and tasty. The food itself was also delicious and reasonably priced. However, the so-called "snack plate," which consisted only of cold cuts, was a little irritating. Bread had to be ordered separately (€1 per slice). Otherwise, highly recommended. Very friendly staff despite the busyness.

If you haven't visited the Bräustüberl, you haven't been to Tegernsee. For me, a hearty stop is always a must when I'm here. A freshly tapped Tegernseer Helles, a radish, a beer roast, or a sausage salad served by a quick waitress with a smile or a friendly remark—what more do you need to be happy? God made this place on his most beautiful day. A heartfelt thank you for your hospitality.

Beer, white sausages with pretzels and maybe if you like a knuckle, the food is also recommended, the price is OK

Don't let the size put you off! Highly recommended. Friendly staff, delicious menu with good daily specials, and excellent value for money. Be sure to try the Bräubazi with fresh pretzels as a starter!

Yesterday, to round off our rainy vacation, we went to the Bräustüberl in Tegernsee for dinner. We were lucky; we snagged a free table without a reservation. The young waitress was very quick and friendly. We chose the daily special: asparagus with pork schnitzel. Then, in just 4-5 minutes, the wheat beer and the freshly prepared food were on the table – wow!!! It was delicious, the portion was generous, and the price, €21.50, was fantastic!!! Maybe again today????

Great venue, beer cheap but we had a moody older lady waitress who wasn't happy that all we ordered was beer. Wasn't made welcome so had one and left. She got even more moody when paying by card. Beer good. Cheap and food that came out looked amazing but we didn't stay. Got super busy and as only two of us we also felt we should move on as all large tables.

I had a very pleasant dining experience at this restaurant. I started with a delicious goulash soup, well seasoned and with an authentic taste. For main course I had pork leg, tender and well cooked, and for dessert apple rings with ice cream - a sweet and refreshing surprise. I also tried the Wiener Schnitzel - crispy and delicious - and for dessert a dumpling in custard, an interesting and comforting dish. The portions are generous, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is pleasant. I'll definitely be back!
