Bräustüberl Tegernsee in Tegernsee

On the way home we stopped at the Bräustüberl and enjoyed a snack.

Very nice service. Very dog ​​friendly. Price/performance very good.

We only visited the Christmas market, it was very nice, mulled wine was very good

We got a tip from friends to visit the Bräustüberl, so we did that straight away. We had a waiter with us who served us very friendly and the food and drinks came relatively quickly. On the last evening, however, the service was very bad, the ladies walked past us 4-5 times and none of them even came to the table to take our order. When we then spoke to a gentleman, he simply ran away, looked at another waitress, ran away and after about 20 minutes one came to us at the table and asked if we had already ordered something... Well, of course there are a lot of regular customers , but the waiters sitting with them during working hours and drinking beer(s), I've never seen anything like that 😂 Nevertheless the food and the beer tasted good!

Can only recommend, were on December 7th Eating at the Bräustüberl again in 2024, as always very very very satisfied, my pork knuckle was so delicious, it was a dream as always, service was top notch Perfect, see you soon😋🍖😊

So last night we were at the Bräustüberl with a few others and I have to say I've never experienced anything like it. Went in at five and the table was reserved for 6:30 p.m. My friend wanted to order something to drink at 5:45 p.m. and lo and behold the waitress didn't bring him anything anymore, she said the table was full and we had to pay and leave. And that immediately happened to the others who were on the bus with us. That was the first and last time I go in there. So that means eat and go.

The brewery was full, so it is advisable to reserve a table in advance. I had the schnitzel with potato salad. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't perfect either. The atmosphere in the brewery was great.

The Bräu is an institution on Tegernsee. You are always served quickly. The selection of Bavarian dishes isn't that big, but it's good and the prices are really fair. The Tegernsee beer tastes even better here ;)

It's probably better to rely on bus companies. It's full of bangs, incredibly loud, no space in the hostel, stressed out waitresses. Too big, too crowded, too loud. The term “Stüberl” is a massive understatement. So 4 hungry guest candidates had to flee without having achieved anything. What's particularly negative is that you can't make a reservation. Only bus companies.

The decor exudes traditional hospitality, both inside and in the sunshine outside, which makes the stay particularly pleasant. The service is excellent: the service is quick, attentive and always friendly, without being intrusive. As a guest you feel valued and well looked after. Another plus point is the good prices. For the quality of food and drinks on offer, the price-performance ratio is unbeatable. This brewery is the perfect place to spend a relaxing stay or get together with friends. We stopped there at lunchtime today. Lots of friendly waiters and good food. Beer is of course very praiseworthy anyway.

An institution - for good reason.

We were at Tegernsee and also at the Bräustüberl on a really nice day. There was a lot going on outside, but not so much inside. Unfortunately, our waitress didn't even look at us for 25 minutes...we then asked another waitress if we could order from her...unfortunately we got a firm "no" with the justification that everyone has their own area. Maybe so, but the sound makes the music. We considered sitting at another station (there always seemed to be someone there) but nice people came to our table and we stayed. The food was good and the space is of course great, but you can still work on the friendliness 👍

Verur Bavarian and comfortably furnished and of course the beer tastes very tasty. I enjoy coming here several times a year and always feel comfortable and treated with great care.

Just good!!! Had dinner here again. Since the weather was nice despite November, we sat in the beer garden. Fatma served us very nicely. The food was, as always, to die for. The whammy cannot be topped. Very tasty and above all cheap. Where else can you get a wammerl with dumplings or potato salad and sauce for 13.50 euros? The light one 3.30 euros. Really recommended again and again. You can see that there is another way and not just overpriced. Thanks!

As you imagine a Bavarian restaurant, everything fits. Can only recommend it.

Food was ok but service was really bad. Extremely slow to get the attention of the waiters. One of them refused to attend to us because apparently it was not his table. Finally when paying the waiter was not happy we were paying separately.

A traditional Bavarian-style restaurant. Super old interior like in the old days, with vaults and massive wooden tables and chairs as well as benches. A lot of tourism now but just ok. Outside with a huge terrace and lots of seats in the sun. You will be served very quickly and friendly. I really like making snacks here, it tastes better, but there are a lot of warm dishes. The best is the BEER TEGERNSEER SPECIAL. So it's definitely worth a visit.

Were here for the first time and were very impressed.. Food prices moderate, beer prices as well... The service (I think Sabine) was friendly and attentive despite the full hut... Conclusion: A cheap, great restaurant and fully recommended!!!!!

Cozy, spacious, really good food at moderate prices, on the table 5 minutes after ordering, very friendly service. Tip: Add a little more apricot jam to the apricot pancakes...there was almost no taste of it.

Restaurant that is designed for large crowds, which is not objectionable for a tourist magnet like Lake Tegernsee. This is partly reflected in the food, such as potato salad ready from the bucket. Otherwise, the portions are plentiful and appropriate for the price. Very good beer from our own brewery. The service team is very friendly and accommodating. All in all, definitely worth a visit.

Super great restaurant right on the lake with a great beer garden. The prices surprised me positively. Beer for €3.30, where else can you get that? The waitresses were super quick. The food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommended. 👍 great, it's also cheap and good 😉

The classic at Tegernsee. Friendly service with great speed. Juicy knuckles with a great taste, great sauce and lukewarm potato and cucumber salad for €9.80, wonderful beer: all is well with the world.

Price-performance ratio is absolutely fine for the location considering the amount of tourists! You shouldn't be late for lunch, especially if you want to sit outside in the sun. Bierbratl and Dampfnudel are absolute highlights.

Cozy restaurant with an outdoor terrace located directly on Lake Tegernsee. The brewery offers a good selection of food and drinks at a good price/performance ratio. Particularly noteworthy is the friendliness and service quality of the waitresses, who always offered a friendly smile and great, fast service despite the crowded restaurant. You'll be happy to come back there.

The food is typically Bavarian and the menu is rather small. It really tasted good. If you just want to ease something in a nice atmosphere, it's the perfect place. I think it's too "simple" to really celebrate a special occasion. Definitely recommended!

The best restaurant on Tegernsee, with a wonderful view, delicious food and a unique Bavarian atmosphere, there are always a lot of people, but there will be a place! The dishes are delivered quickly and the service is top notch. The only thing is, if you are not familiar with the name of Bavarian dishes, you may be surprised; they will not bring you exactly what you imagine. But in any case, you will be satisfied. Great price, highly recommend!

Simply quaint, although very loud inside. But that's just how it is in a large economy. The waitresses do a great job here. The beer is the best in Germany (according to my taste) and the food is delicious. Everything is very fair in terms of price.

The food is okay, but friendliness, courteous service, etc. unfortunately falls by the wayside given the masses that are processed here. If you're looking for a cozy Bavarian ambience, you're in the wrong place here.

We were here with colleagues and had a really good time. Whether it was roast pork or char and schnitzel. Everyone was very happy and it was also cheaper than up at the hut. And the delicious fresh beer on tap was really good. We were in the Kleiner Stüberl, which is why it wasn't so loud. The service was super fast and very friendly! We will definitely be back and highly recommend this place!

I decided to eat there at short notice. Super fast service. Haxn and the cream mushrooms are a dream!! Great taste and very reasonable price with large portions.

Super good food, great value for money. Always very busy on the weekend, but once the waiter comes to take the order, service is quick. The outside pond was very crowded, narrow and loud.

Update: We were just there again and were really looking forward to it. Unfortunately in vain. Both portions of food were small, the Viennese wasn't good, the roasted potatoes were weak and not crispy at all. Such a shame! Oh, that's beautiful! Crowded, loud, people in a good mood everywhere, enjoying themselves. Very nice service, very tasty food, reasonable prices! The only problem is getting a spot when the weather is nice, but with a little patience it works. We are already looking forward to the next visit!

80 er Geburtstag ,es war leider ein Reinfall ,von knustrig weit weg ,aufgewärmte Haxe mit harter Haut,bin vom Bräuhaus nicht gewohnt. Leider.

Solid unpretentious Bavarian fare at a historic brewery with great beer that would rival even the legendary Augustiner from Munich. Despite the crowds and fast pace of serving, the food quality is still decent: the pork knuckle I got had properly crispy and not chewy skin and the meat was reasonable tender, whilst the accompanying potato salad was also fine. Oh prices are good too: you will walk away well fed for just 16-19€ per person

Nach einen kleinen Schifffahrt auf dem Tegernsee und einer kurzen Wanderung am Tegernseer Höhenweg, haben wir den Aufenthalt im Bräustüberl sehr genossen. Wie gewohnt waren die Speisen und der Service wieder hervorragend. Im besonderen erwähne ich das ausgezeichnete und frisch angemachte Rindertatar. Klasse und bleibt so.

Nach einer Kurzurlaubsreise in der Wildschönau in Tirol sind wir (11 ältere Personen) übers Bräustüberl nach München gefahren. Wir haben alle verschiedenes zu Mittag gegessen was uns allen hervorragend geschmeckt hat (super Preis-Leistungsverhältnis) und somit einen guten und unterhaltsamen Abschluss für unser Urlaubsreise gehabt. A wonderful "real" brewery with wonderful beer at very fair prices. The service is very attentive and extremely warm. You immediately feel really comfortable and stay squatting for a long time. I can only recommend that you definitely go.
