A very nice place, the terrace invites you to linger, great beer 🍺 and the food is simply unbelievably delicious 😋 🤤 And we will definitely come back 100%🫶

The service was top, it was busy and the service staff was completely friendly. The food tasted good but the portions were small. Afterwards we went for a Bockwurst roll and we don't eat much. Would definitely come back to the cafe. But not for eating.

The Kaiserschmarrn was fantastic!

We were here twice, the first time for coffee in the afternoon, where there was also a selection of delicious cakes at 4 p.m. The waiter was super nice, very accommodating and quick. The second time we were here for dinner and were also served very friendly and well by another waiter. The view of the lake is fantastic. There were five of us and there was only limited space at the table. The dinner menu was clear, but everyone quickly found something to eat. The asparagus soup was served beautifully prepared. The pot was very hot, but the soup itself was only lukewarm. The latter also applied to the asparagus in the main course. A complaint at the end led to a price concession - very professional. Basically everything tasted very good.

It was a pleasure to be there! Our dog was welcome and was treated to water and treats, the risotto was a poem and the waiter was so refreshingly nice and accommodating!! All in all it deserves 5 stars

Loved this place! The meat and fish were honestly so tasty – cooked just right and full of flavor. The potatoes were a surprise hit, ridiculously good. Portions are huge, so I didn’t even have room for dessert (which I kind of regret now!). And the view of the lake? Just stunning. It really added to the whole experience. Would definitely come üp

Wow, there seems to have been a change of ownership here or personnel changes in the kitchen and service. Four of us came here today and we were all absolutely thrilled. Service friendly and attentive, food great - had pike perch fillet - awesome, beer brewer schnitzel, roast pork and chicken with vegetables. The taste was impeccable throughout, the portions were correctly sized, and the waiting time was excellent despite the full restaurant. I would swap the fries for Belgian fries, but that's a matter of opinion. ;-) The location completes the restaurant. Afterwards espresso and hot chocolate, which were also very good. Thank you, you made my day. We'll be back!

Friendly, unobtrusive service who regularly asks whether everything fits, whether it tastes good or whether something is needed. The food is very tasty and we also really enjoyed the Kaiserschmarrn 😅😋

Very surprised by the great redesign of the former Seehotel restaurant in Steg1. You can sit nicely with a view of Lake Tegernsee and enjoy wonderful food (cafe and restaurant)

The waiter was rude, so we didn't even make an order. Nice view and terrace, but personnel should respect the guests.

Our friends arrived first, we were supposed to arrive in 15 minutes. And they said that there would be 5 people in total. They were seated at a table on the veranda. We walked up to our friends and sat down next to each other, AS WE ORIGINALLY ASKED. A waiter walks by and rudely shouts “only 3 people!” He walks by and doesn't even look back. He was absolutely impolite, rude, in short, “rude.” Our friends were put there, they didn’t go there themselves. And then they just yelled? Terrible! If you want to be yelled at, spat on, insulted and humiliated, this is the place for you. Let this charade close as soon as possible.

We were there on August 30, 24 at around 7 p.m. The waiter took longer to do everything compared to other guests and we felt worse served. When it came to paying and we decided to pay by card, he crumpled the receipt on the table in front of us and left without a word. As a guest you no longer feel welcome and then you forego tipping. All I can say about chocolate cake and coffee is that they don't make a good impression, no matter where they come from. I hope this review helps you in your quest for improvement. We had a wonderful week with the family at Tegernsee. Every morning we were able to have breakfast with a view of the lake - wonderful! The dinner is also very good and tasty. The employees were all very accommodating and extremely friendly - we felt very comfortable! Thanks!

This restaurant is simply great. Friendly staff. Great food. The location overlooking the lake is great. The adjoining beer garden and the Mexican restaurant La Casa, which is part of the company, are definitely recommended.

Beer garden Steg 1 beautifully located with a view of the lake. In between is the very busy road. Things are a little more pleasant in the back corners. Everything is self-service, including clearing away. Small, fine menu. Prices are okay.

Great restaurant with delicious food and good service. There is even a children's menu.

Coffee and cake at a higher price. I didn't find a waiter with a certain entertainment value suitable - he seemed to find it funny what all the guests then had to listen to.

The restaurant has a brilliant view of Lake Tegernsee. In the morning you can also have a lovely breakfast here as a hotel guest. The wine list has a good selection and the Lagrein chosen was excellent. The asparagus season has started and both the soup and the pork fillet on a bed of asparagus were simply great. Nice and very friendly service, what more could you want....

We were here to celebrate my mother's birthday. We got a seat very spontaneously, the food came quickly and was very tasty and the waitress was above average friendly - what a great end to the day!

Great restaurant right on the lake, great views and delicious food. But the waitress Jule was simply uniquely friendly and super accommodating. Their open nature but also the ambience invites you to come back soon.

We ate here for 10 minutes. Because no one was paying attention to us, we got the card ourselves and were insulted by an employee (hairless on his head) as to why we hadn't gotten it ourselves beforehand. Then we left, but the food and ambience are actually great.

Steg 1 is really a magical place! We were greeted by an extremely warm waiter. We thought it was particularly great that the café also thought of the little guests - they got pens and a coloring menu, which our kids were thrilled about! A really charming gesture that shows how family-friendly Steg 1 is. By the way, the Kaiserschmarrn here is the best at Tegernsee.

Consistently delicious food in a modern atmosphere with a wonderful view over the lake. The service team was very friendly; the food came quickly. Dogs were also welcome there.

We were there on 11/12/23. We had plum crumble cake and cappuccino. Unfortunately the cake was old. My wife and I had a bad stomach the rest of the day and kept burping... The service was flippant, the table was still full of crumbs from the previous guest. The renovation was successful, the view of the lake is great. If there are fresh, good cakes and better service, the restaurant is certainly competition for the ARAN Cafe... not like that! Best regards, Dag Schneider

Der Kaiserschmarren war lecker, kam allerdings ohne Mandeln, obwohl extra von der Bedienung gefragt wurde ob mit oder ohne. Die Terrasse mit Blick auf den Tegernsee ist schön. Der Service war mit der Anzahl der Gäste überfordert. Tische wurden nicht abgeräumt, von einer Karte/Menü keine Spur und nachdem wir das Essen erhalten hatten, kam auch keiner mehr. Als ich mit Karte zahlen wollte, wurde mir von einem anderen Kellner im vorbei Gehen gesagt, ich solle doch mit richtigem Geld zahlen…

Super! Wir kommen gern her. Freundlich, essen ist immer super und nach der Renovierung hat das Ganze nun auch noch einen tollen Charme. Absolut zu empfehlen zum Abendessen (das Schnitzel finde ich persönlich sogar besser als im Gut Kaltenbrunn, aber auch der Kaiserschmarren ist Weltklasse!) aber auch nachmittags zum Kaffeetrinken.

Das Essen war vorzüglich! Wir hatten das Zanderfilet und den Fisch-Teller: als auf den Punkt gebraten. Einfach nur lecker! Der Service war auch sehr nett!

Wir haben gestern dort unser Sommerfest gefeiert. Alles super. Von der Begrüßung und dem Sekt-Empfang, netter und super aufmerksamer Service, leckeres Essen, toller Platz mit Blick auf den See bis zum stylischen Ambiente. Rundum ein gelungener Abend! Auch im Vorfeld sehr freundliche und schnelle Kommunikation. Vielen Dank.

Ein voll gelungener Umbau des Wintergartens und der Terrasse. Nicht wieder zu erkennen. Mit viel Liebe zum Detail umgestaltet. Die Speisen wie eh und jeh genial. Zimmer geschmackvoll eingerichtet mit ebenerdiger Dusche. Sehr modern alles. Biergarten ist ein Highlight mit tollen Blick auf den Tegernsee. Neues Restaurant LaCasa7 ist ebenfalls ein Besuch wert. Essen und Cocktails sehr fein. Auch hier wurde an der Einrichtung sehr ins Detail geplant. Mitarbeiter sehr höflich. Wir kommen wieder

Ein sehr gutes Restaurant, genossen heute eine gute Flasche Lugana zum Essen. Die beiden älteren Kellner waren sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das nächste Mal werden wir auch dort übernachten.

Schönes Restaurant mit gemütlichen Sitzgelegenheiten und tollem Außenbereich mit wunderbarem Blick über den See im Seehotel zur Post. Das Essen war unglaublich gut und die Portionen ausreichend. Die Speisekarte bietet eine große Auswahl, sodass für jeden etwas dabei ist. Selten so ein zuvorkommendes, äußerst nettes und kinderfreundliches Personal erlebt. Wirklich ein großes Lob an den Service! Wir waren sehr zufrieden und kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr modernes Restaurant mit perfektem Ausblick. Wir waren vor ein paar Jahren schon mal und allein wegen der Lage war es schon schön dort, aber seit der Renovierung geschmacklich und optisch perfekt :-)

Rund um den Tegernsee gibt es viele eher eingestaubte alte Wirshäuser und ebengleiche Gerichte und Karten. Das hier ist fancy! Was für eine schöne neue Location hier geschaffen wurde, trotz Regenwetter ein phantastischer Kaiserschmarrn, leckere Holunderschorle und auf den Punkt perfekter Ziegenkäse Salat. Jedes Gericht war lecker aber besonders der Kaiserschmarrn. Ist in jeder Hinsicht einen Besuch wert.

While the lace its good, and services was great, the food quality was very low. Its not terrible but you expect a much better quality and flavors here even more for a very traditional dish. Maybe it was bad luck

Waren zu fünft und hatten den bergsteiger salat, spargel mit wienerschnitzel, 2xputensteak natur und ochsenfleisch. Als dessert einen kaiserschmarrn und zwei verschiedene kuchen. Alles sehr schmackhaft 👌👌👌👌👌👌

Der Zwiebelrostbraten mit gerösteten Zwiebeln in einer würzigen und leichten Soße ist ein Genuss. Im neu gestalteten und modern, elegant eingerichteten Steg 1 (Wintergarten Seehotel zur Post) kann man beim Essen den wunderbaren Blick auf den Tegernsee genießen. Angenehmer und aufmerksamer Service.
