Ein Platz zwischen Himmel und Erde! Ich habe im DAS TEGERNSEE einen besonderen Geburtstag gefeiert und das Hotel hat mir all meine Wünsche erfüllt. Eine traumhafte Location hoch über dem malerischen Tegernsee mit Mitarbeitern, die ehrlich darum bemüht sind, damit Gast ein maximales Urlaubserlebnis zu verschaffen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!!!

Ein tolles Hotel. Wir haben ein Upgrade auf eine wunderschöne Suite bekommen. Es hat uns sehr gut gefallen.

Ein absoluter Traum für jede Hochzeit! 🤍📸 Als Hochzeitsfotografin („Lichtmomente Tegernsee“) bin ich viel in der Region unterwegs, aber meine Zeit im Das Tegernsee ist immer wieder ein absolutes Highlight. Dieser Ort ist ein Volltreffer für jedes Brautpaar! ​Schon bei der Ankunft wird man von diesem unfassbaren Blick über den See und die Berge verzaubert. Die Architektur, die Lichtdurchflutung der Räume und natürlich diese Terrasse mit ihrem Postkartenmotiv-Blick sind die perfekte Leinwand für natürliche, authentische Bilder. Hier findet man an jeder Ecke „Lichtmomente“, die ich so liebe. Aber es ist nicht nur die Kulisse: Die Herzlichkeit und Professionalität des gesamten Teams sind einfach magisch. Alles ist bis ins kleinste Detail durchdacht, sodass sich nicht nur das Brautpaar, sondern auch wir Dienstleister rundum wohlfühlen. Ein reibungsloser Ablauf ist bei einer Hochzeit essenziell, und hier klappt alles perfekt. ​Macht es euch gemütlich und genießt euren Tag, während das Team im Hintergrund Wunder vollbringt. Tolles Hotel in traumhafter Lage - haben es rundherum genossen

Ab 22 Uhr gibt es leider nichts mehr zum Essen.

Ein fantastisches Hotel mit traumhaftem Seeblick. Hervorragende Massagen. Es wäre wünschenswert, wenn mehr Zimmer über eine Klimaanlage verfügen würden.

Schönste Lage über dem Tegernsee! Die Zimmer sind stilvoll und mit allem Komfort ausgestattet, das Personal ist herzlich und wahnsinnig aufmerksam, der Wellnessbereich ist ein Traum! Immer und immer wieder schön! 💕

Das Hotel ist wirklich sehr schön, auf der Terrasse hat man einen tollen Blick über den See. Beim Einchecken kam es zu Verzögerungen, daß wurde aber wieder reguliert. Unser Zimmer lag zur Landseite, was wir im Nachhinein bedauerten. Aber ein up-grate wollten wir dann einfach nicht mehr bezahlen. Es ist ein schönes,Hotel im Luxusbereich. Das Frühstücksbuffet war sehr gut und wir haben es genossen, dass wir auch bei schönem Wetter draussen auf der Terrasse mit einem tollen Blick frühstücken konnten. Es war sehr schön!

Ein herausragendes Hotel mit einmaligem Blick auf den Tegernsee und die umliegenden Berge. Das Personal: 10 von 10, Frühstück und Abendessen sowie der Spabereich hervorragend. Wir wurden von morgens bis abends verwöhnt und kommen ganz bestimmt wieder.

Das Markenversprechen eines Hauses wie „Das Tegernsee“ klingt beeindruckend – bis man versucht, telefonisch einen Day Spa zu buchen. Die Auskunft der Mitarbeiterin: Buchungen ausschließlich über die Website. Ob überhaupt noch Termine verfügbar sind? Konnte man mir leider nicht sagen – das müsse ich selbst nachsehen. Interessant. Früher nannte man so etwas Service, heute offenbar Digitalisierung. Für ein 4-Sterne-Superior-Haus wirkt diese Form von Kundenorientierung erstaunlich ambitionslos. Wenn persönliche Beratung durch den Hinweis „Schauen Sie online“ ersetzt wird, bleibt vom exklusiven Anspruch vor allem eines übrig: die schöne Aussicht.

Essen Service und Spa gut Zimmer unterirdisch

Für uns gehen vier großartige Tage im "Das Tegernsee" zu Ende. Die Kommunikation mit dem Hotel gestaltete sich von Beginn an sehr unkompliziert und freundlich. Wir erhielten beim Check-In überraschend ein Upgrade in ein sehr schönes, helles Zimmer mit Seeblick. Vielleicht hatten wir Glück, aber an diesem Wochenende war es sehr ruhig im Hotel. Es gab im Spa-Bereich am Nachmittag und Abend immer sehr viele freie Liegen zur Auswahl und es war angenehm leise und perfekt zum Entspannen. Der Ausblick von den beiden Sonnenterassen ist wahnsinnig schön auf den See und die Berge hinaus. Die Lage im Ort ist top, wenn man keine Gehprobleme hat. Ausreichend abseits, um von Natur und Ruhe umgeben zu sein, aber in 15 Minuten ist man trotzdem über eine beleuchtete, steile Straße runter in den Ort gelaufen, wo man viele Restaurants und die Schiffanleger findet. Parken kann man auf den Außenstellplätzen am Hotel kostenlos. Beim Frühstück gibt es eine gute Auswahl, alles wirkt hochwertig und frisch. Den Service empfanden wir als jederzeit sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Vom Guest Relations Manager erhielten wir tolle Tipps für Wanderungen und Ausflüge. Ein Late-Check-out war problemlos und ohne Aufpreis möglich. Insgesamt hatten wir den Eindruck, dass hier sehr auf Details und Qualität geachtet wird und hatten einen sehr erholsamen Aufenthalt. Wir werden das Hotel auf jeden Fall weiterempfehlen und kommen gerne auch nochmal wieder. Falls man unbedingt etwas aussetzen möchte: Getränkeservice im Spa-Bereich wäre noch next level gewesen. Aber das ist wirklich Nörgeln auf hohem Niveau 😊

Unser Aufenthalt im Rahmen des „Easy Sunday“-Arrangements im DAS TEGERNSEE war in vielerlei Hinsicht rundum gelungen und für uns als Paar etwas ganz Besonderes - nicht zuletzt, da es sich um mein Geburtstagsgeschenk an meinen Mann handelte. Das Arrangement selbst ist sehr attraktiv gestaltet: Es beinhaltet einen umfangreichen Sonntagsbrunch, ein abendliches Vier-Gänge-Menü (hierzu später mehr), ein reichhaltiges Frühstücksbuffet am Folgetag sowie die Möglichkeit, den Spa-Bereich am Abreisetag bis 18:00 Uhr zu nutzen. Zusätzlich werden Anwendungen mit 20 % Nachlass angeboten. Insgesamt bietet dieses Paket eine wunderbare Gelegenheit, sich bewusst eine entspannte Auszeit zu zweit zu gönnen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die Atmosphäre des Hauses sowie die Möglichkeit, wirklich zur Ruhe zu kommen. Für uns war die gemeinsame Zeit von hohem persönlichem Wert. Wir konnten abschalten, genießen und neue Energie tanken. Im Bereich Service vergebe ich jedoch 4 von 5 Sternen, was ich auch bereits vor Ort an der Rezeption rückgemeldet habe: Beim Abendessen wurde das angekündigte Vier-Gänge-Menü faktisch als Drei-Gänge-Menü serviert, ohne entsprechenden Hinweis. Zudem wurde die Hauptspeise nahezu vollständig verändert. Leider handelte es sich dabei um das Gericht, das bereits beim Sonntagsbrunch serviert wurde. Darauf hingewiesen wurden wir aber an keiner stelle, auch die Menükarte sagte etwas dergleichen. Für ein Hotel dieser Preisklasse sollte eine solche fehlende Kommunikation nicht vorkommen. Zusätzlich war im Arrangement ein 20%iger Nachlass auf Spa-Anwendungen inkludiert. Leider war dieser im Spa-Bereich offenbar nicht bekannt, sodass der Rabatt nicht automatisch berücksichtigt wurde. Auch hier wäre eine bessere interne Abstimmung wünschenswert gewesen, um den Aufenthalt für den Gast durchgängig stimmig zu gestalten. Das Zimmer war sehr schön, hochwertig ausgestattet und insgesamt äußerst komfortabel. Ein kleiner Verbesserungspunkt betrifft die Lüftung im Badezimmer, die dauerhaft lief und dadurch etwas störend war. Fazit: Ein insgesamt sehr empfehlenswerter Aufenthalt mit hohem Erholungswert und einem durchdachten Arrangement. Mit kleinen Optimierungen im Servicebereich könnte das Erlebnis durchgängig auf höchstem Niveau liegen.

Wir hatten einen rundum tollen Aufenthalt! Der Service war herausragend und die Mitarbeiter durchweg freundlich und zuvorkommend – man fühlt sich direkt gut aufgehoben. Das Frühstück überzeugt mit großer Auswahl und bester Qualität. Auch der großzügige Wellnessbereich lädt perfekt zum Entspannen ein. Dank der guten Parkmöglichkeiten ist alles sehr unkompliziert. Klare Empfehlung – wir kommen gerne wieder!

leider war ich mit unserem Mittagessen diesmal nicht zufrieden. Am ersten Tag wurde ein Buffet angeboten, bei dem mehrere Speisen nicht besonders frisch wirkten. Der Fisch war sehr trocken, die Ravioli zudem etwas verkocht. Unverständlich fand ich auch die Menüplanung: Die Ochsenbacke wurde am ersten Tag bereits am Buffet angeboten und am zweiten Tag erneut als Menü serviert. Zwei Tage hintereinander dasselbe Gericht zu bekommen, halte ich für wenig gelungen. Zudem gab es für meine Kollegen keine wirkliche vegetarische Option. Die vorgeschlagene Lösung, das Fleisch einfach wegzulassen, ist aus meiner Sicht keine angemessene Alternative. Insgesamt entsprach auch der Service nicht dem Niveau, das ich aus der Vergangenheit bei Ihnen gewohnt bin. Schade – ich hoffe, dass sich das bei einem nächsten Besuch wieder verbessert.

Eines der schönsten Hotels, die ich jemals besucht habe. Hier stimmt einfach alles. Ruhig, gelassen und insgesamt perfekt. Besonders das sehr nette Hotelteam. Hier fehlt es an nichts. Vielen Dank dafür. Bis zum nächsten Mal.

Wir waren für den Day Spa mit Frühstück und Abendessen dort. Es war von vorne bis hinten perfekt. Jeder Mitarbeiter war super freundlich. Wir hatten zu keinem Zeitpunkt das Gefühl, dass wir anders behandelt werden, weil wir „nur“ Tagesgäste sind. Das Essen war sehr lecker und wir haben auf eigene Rechnung noch ein Dessert bestellt. Das Dessert war eine 11/10! Wir hatten Glück, denn das Wetter war super und der Spa Bereich am Anfang des Tages noch sehr leer. Hintenraus wurde es etwas voller, aber das hat nicht gestört. Der Spa Bereich ist großzügig und es gibt viele Liegeflächen sowohl drinnen als auch draußen. Wir haben einen Tag vorher nochmal angerufen und so den Massage Termin fix ausmachen können. Das war super und hat uns mehr Flexibilität bei der Anreise gegeben. Es ist insgesamt viel Geld, aber ich würde jederzeit wieder kommen und den Day Spa im das Tegernsee für besondere Anlässe empfehlen.

Wir hatten ein wunderbares Erlebnis. Das Personal ist überaus aufmerksam und die Lage des Hotels ist wunderschön und in der Nähe der Wanderwege.

Bei den Preisen finde ich kann man schon etwas pingelig sein, aber trotzdem gerade noch 5 Sterne. - Alpenchalet war richtig schön, man braucht nur ewig zum Spa Bereich, dafür hat man einen top Blick (s. Foto) - Zimmerservice war perfekt - Frühstück war sehr lecker, wir waren bloß trotz Buchung, nicht in der Liste, was kurz für Verwirrung sorgte - Rezeption war’s top, jedoch kann man finde ich auf dem Niveau erwarten, dass einem das Gepäck abgenommen wird, was nicht geschah - Saunen haben mich absolut abgeholt; außen Pool war ganz cool; am innenpool fand ich nur die Klappe cool, die nach draußen führte - Lage top; man gelangt direkt vom Hotel aus auf Wanderwege - Fitnessraum etwas klein, aber hat alles

Für uns erste Wahl für einen Aufenthalt am Tegernsee. Von Hamburg mit der Bahn komfortabel und entspannt angereist, herrlich! Eine fantastische Woche genossen. Zimmer sehr schön, modern wie funktionell eingerichtet, mit Seeblick vom Bett aus und Balkon. Sehr zu empfehlen. Ausgezeichnetes Frühstücksbuffet bis 11:00 Uhr, was keine Wünsche offen lässt - der Service ist schnell ohne dabei Hektik zu verbreiten. Auch hier gilt: der Ausblick ist phänomenal. Das gilt auch für den grossen Spa Bereich. Der Aussen-Pool ist ein besonderes Highlight, vor allem wenn es gerade schneit 🌨️ Aber auch das Saunaangebot ist top. Über den gesamten Aufenthalt war das Spa nie überfüllt und super sauber und aufgeräumt. Auch für den Abend kann man die Küche uneingeschränkt empfehlen - den Wildkräutersalat gilt es zu probieren. Auch hier wie im ganzen Hotel lässt sich zusammenfassen: die Einrichtung wirkt durchgängig hoch- und neuwertig, das Personal ist professionell und lässt keine Wünsche offen 🔝

Traumhafte Lage. Wir waren hier zu einer Feier eingeladen und sind rundum zufrieden gewesen.

Wunderbares langes Wochenende in traumhaftem Hotel. Bemerkenswerter Service, insbesondere beim Frühstück. Ich habe selten ein so aufmerksames Team erleben dürfen. Dies kombiniert mit der traumhaften Terrasse des Hotels machen jedes Frühstück zu einem Moment persönlichem Glücksgefühl. Ebenfalls hervorzuheben war der Empfang der Rezeption, allen voran Frau Hein. Bei unserer Buchung lief etwas schief auf Seiten des Hotels, dieses Malheur wurde von Frau Hein in authentisch-herzlicher Art mit einem Lächeln professionell gelöst. Vielen Dank ! Selten so rundherum gelungene 4 Tage erlebt. PS: Auch die Panorama Sauna wusste sehr zu gefallen.

Der Wellnessbereich ist eher klein und schnucklig, aber sehr gut aufgebaut: mehrere kleine Saunen, ein Dampfbad, ein Indoor-/Außenpool und als Highlight eine große Panoramasauna mit traumhaftem Blick auf See und Berge. Wirklich ein besonderes Erlebnis. Der Service war sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Ein paar Kleinigkeiten könnten noch verbessert werden – stellenweise könnte es noch etwas sauberer bzw. gepflegter sein und die Beschilderung im Spa-Bereich könnte klarer sein. Trotzdem haben wir uns sehr wohlgefühlt, auch nur für einen Tagesausflug ohne Übernachtung. Beim nächsten Mal möchten wir definitiv auch einmal dort übernachten und die Zimmer ausprobieren. For us, the most beautiful hotel on Lake Tegernsee. First-class service in all areas. A stunning panorama, and the food and drinks are a culinary delight. The spa is beautifully designed. You feel completely at ease.

We had a wonderfully relaxing time. The staff is incredibly attentive and very friendly, and in a pleasantly unobtrusive way. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the hotel and in the spa area. The food in the restaurant was excellent once again. We'll be back! ☺️

We have been regularly spending our short holidays at Sengerschloss Suites 722/723 for 27 years. Everything is very comfortable, the staff is very friendly, the food is great, and it has the best view of Lake Tegernsee.

Arrival was fine – accommodation is 90 km from Lake Tegernsee. Check-in was disorganized and very impersonal. ... Example: "Your arrival was welcomed -- and then immediately: you can only check into your room at 3 pm." We had booked the spa package for our arrival day, but apparently that simply wasn't important. The room wasn't ready at 3 pm: Explanation: we are fully booked and have a high rate of staff illness. These are answers I find absolutely incomprehensible. After all, the room price of approximately €450 isn't exactly at a level where I, as a guest, should be grateful to have a room. The bottom line is that they want to give the impression that this is a top-class hotel - but here, the truth is: they tried, but it's far from sufficient. Finally: a room service employee (at 9:15 am) who knocks and enters the room despite a clear "NO" is just another example - and here, too, there's a very enlightening explanation. The employee is new and comes from Pakistan - So please - who cares?

Beautiful rooms with stunning views over Lake Tegernsee. A panoramic sauna that truly lives up to its name. Friendly staff and an exceptionally good breakfast.

Unfortunately, we couldn't access our room until after the guaranteed check-in time of 3:00 PM. The cleaning hadn't been completed in time. Therefore, it was somewhat stressful to finish check-in and then return to the spa after a first visit without our luggage. At such a high-priced hotel, I hadn't expected to have to wait for my room.

On a beautiful sunny day, we drove all the way from Munich to the Hotel Das Tegernsee, taking the scenic route along the high-altitude trail. We wanted to enjoy brunch on the sun terrace. Disappointingly, we were told it was closed due to staff shortages. We could have brunch inside, but for €30 per person, in a rather condescending manner. Afterwards, the sun terrace was pointedly cordoned off with chairs. It's a shame that such a renowned hotel presents itself in such an unfriendly way and so blatantly neglects the standards it has maintained until now. My memories have been entirely positive, but we will refrain from future visits...

I had two incredibly relaxing days here! The staff is incredibly attentive, whether at reception, in the spa area, or in the restaurant. Breakfast was fantastic! Dinner was equally good! The massage with Matthias was amazing, and Michael performed the sauna infusions in the panoramic sauna with absolute dedication. I was traveling alone, so I was even offered a newspaper at dinner. The small talk with the staff in the restaurant was very pleasant. All in all, I was extremely satisfied and would love to come back again. Thank you to the entire team!

We had a wonderful stay. The highlight was our room with its magnificent view of the lake. We were able to truly relax in the spa area and enjoy the beautiful weather. The breakfast left nothing to be desired – the selection was very diverse, featuring regional products. All the staff were very welcoming. We highly recommend this hotel and will definitely return.

We had a wonderful wellness weekend at this beautiful and very stylishly furnished hotel. Our room was large and spacious, clean, and very modern and stylishly decorated. All three buildings are connected, so you don't have to go outside if you don't want to. The spa area is modern and stylish, with a diverse selection of saunas, a panoramic sauna overlooking the lake, a really hot steam room, and a very large indoor/outdoor pool where you can swim laps – it's also beautiful. The hotel's location is incredible, perched on a hill with a breathtaking view of Lake Tegernsee. The friendliness of the entire hotel staff, whether at reception, in the spa area, the sauna attendants, the housekeeping staff, or the breakfast team, deserves special mention. We have rarely been welcomed and cared for so warmly and kindly in a hotel. A huge compliment to all the employees! Breakfast was served in the castle and was absolutely world-class. Nothing was lacking, and there was a huge selection of delicacies. We have absolutely no complaints and can recommend the hotel 100%… we'll be back!

Absolutely stunning location overlooking Lake Tegernsee with breathtaking views. Luxurious amenities and an excellent breakfast buffet – both indoors and on the terrace. Very friendly and attentive staff. Beautifully renovated and spotlessly clean. The spa area has everything you could possibly need. We would love to return!

Our short stay at DAS TEGERNSEE was simply wonderful. Besides the beautiful location and stylish ambiance, we would especially like to highlight one thing: the exceptional service. We have rarely experienced a hotel where all the staff – from reception to the bar – are so warm, attentive, and professional. Thank you for this special experience – we will definitely be back!

After a short hike along the Tegernsee High Trail, we stopped for a snack on the lovely terrace of 'Das Tegernsee'. Unfortunately, the sluggish service fell far short of the expectations of a top-class hotel. Sometimes there was no waiter, sometimes six; sometimes our order was taken quickly, then there was an eternity's wait for, say, a Caesar salad. I was very pleasantly surprised by the cheerful young woman who took our order with a radiant smile, brought the drinks, and finally the bill. My personal highlight, however, was the response of the young man I asked after about 30 minutes if he could check on our food: "Yes, of course, then it's probably what's on the pass (food collection point in the kitchen)" – wonderful... A minute later, the order was at our table...

Absolutely thrilled for the third time!!! Everything you could wish for!!!

My very spontaneous stay was a complete success. Arrival/reception, room (I even got to see two other rooms briefly), welcome in the spa and the entire spa area, food, café and bar, breakfast, and dinner... The people were incredibly friendly throughout. Two minor issues: If you think there's a Tegernseer beer at Lake Tegernsee, I have to disappoint you... I was immediately pleased to find two half-liter glasses ready... They were water! 😅🥴 And the story with the glass shard. Apparently, a glass had been dropped by previous guests, and a shard was stuck in a crack in the parquet floor. The room was really spotless; that wasn't the problem, and there was nothing to complain about. But the fact that a small shard was left over, and I had to step on it in my heel, is like winning the lottery. These things happen; after all, this is a place to live, not a furniture store. Luckily, he eventually got out with tweezers, and a bandage was also available – the drama at reception was initially bigger than I had hoped. So, thank you again for the bottle of sparkling wine. A quick vacuum of the room, just so I could leave with a good feeling after dinner, was really all it took. As you can see, they take care of things, and communication works well. Otherwise, it's quite a friendly atmosphere. Families with small children are also staying there, so it's not an adults-only place – keep that in mind beforehand and don't complain afterward. ;)

Whenever we're at Lake Tegernsee, this hotel is our first choice. The view is simply unbeatable.

We stayed one night at the hotel "Das Tegernsee" – the location is beautiful, the room not very modern but very clean, the service is great, and the breakfast is excellent. Based on this positive experience, we later returned with our parents to the hotel restaurant "Senger" for coffee and cake. Unfortunately, the food and service were not at all convincing this time. The coffee was bitter, and the cakes we chose tasted very dry, slightly sour, and stale – like something that had been sitting for a while and was barely edible. When we asked, no one in the kitchen could give us precise information about the ingredients, which is particularly problematic for those of us with allergies. The fact that the cakes are apparently not homemade wouldn't be a problem in itself. However, in a hotel of this category, freshness and quality should be a given. The staff showed little understanding; only after we pointed out the spoiled cream was part of the order canceled. Overall, it was a real shame – after such a positive stay, we had hoped for much more. Therefore, we will unfortunately not be visiting this hotel restaurant again in the future.

The location, the lake view, and the building are beautiful; the staff are friendly and professional. The breakfast and spa are top-notch. On all three evenings we were there, there were no tables available in the hotel restaurant due to events. Our request for a small snack to be delivered to the room was not possible, as room service is generally not available (incredible in a hotel of this category, where our room alone cost over €500 without breakfast). There was a small snack in the spa, but no one pointed it out to us??? And taking it to the room is completely out of the question. Terrible service! We repeatedly pointed out the smell of smoke coming through the floor vent in the connecting door. It was always received in a friendly manner. Our request for something to seal and absorb the smoke was not met, nor was there a statement we had requested in writing. Mr. Niggl, Guest Relations Manager, only commented on an inadvertently overcharged payment, unfortunately not on the issue of the smoke smell in non-smoking rooms! A real shame, because this could be one of the best hotels!

Breakfast was perfect, with a wide selection and high-quality ingredients. Only minor point: the coffee could be better. Overall, an outstanding stay elegant, peaceful, and worth every visit.

The view from the hotel is sensational. The staff is beyond friendly. The rooms and room service leave nothing to be desired.

On the day of arrival, we were given a room with a broken lamp, which blew the fuse. No problem, it can happen - we were given a new room late at night. However, it wasn't prepared, there were no towels, and the TV was broken. No blame on the great gentleman at reception, but his "I'll think of an apology" unfortunately went unanswered. Next highlight: we were warned that the main restaurant would be closed on the second evening. What they didn't say: - there's nothing to eat in the hotel after 12:00 - no room service - the hotel bar was also closed - not even a fries at the beer garden 😂 There were no drinks in the spa area either, with the words "there's an internal event going on, and you'd be glad the spa was open." All in all - we're talking €450 a night with breakfast. At this price level, you should try a little harder; you might as well close the hotel down if you can't keep it going any longer.

A nice hotel in itself, but we wouldn't stay again for the price. We stayed for two nights. On the first night, our room shorted out, and we had to move in the dark (it can happen). The TV in the second room didn't work - it wasn't fixed until the next day. On the second day, the restaurant, beer garden, bar, and snack bar in the spa were closed, meaning we couldn't get lunch or drinks (we had to go down into town). It wouldn't have been a problem if we had been informed about the staff event (which didn't start until 5 p.m.) when we booked. There was zero communication and no "reparations." Very questionable for a 5-star hotel and a room rate of €450. All in all, we wouldn't recommend it.

The sun shines all around here, figuratively speaking, too 🌞 Of course, the friendly staff can't change the weather, but they ensure that the Tegernsee exudes a relaxed, warm atmosphere. I had an amazing stay here! The staff were incredibly kind and helpful, always making me feel welcome. The breakfast was outstanding with plenty of variety and delicious options. The hotel itself is very quiet, which made it perfect for a relaxing stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and well taken care of. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay.

The service in the restaurant was truly rude. The level of service wasn't even worthy of a 3-star rating. The bar was closed, and there was only an alternative menu with 10 drinks. Room service was also a maximum of 3 stars. The location and view are great, and the reception was also well-organized.

A very nice hotel, with excellent rooms and a great view of the lake! Only the new reception staff stands out due to their arrogance and lack of expertise!

"Want luxury." Many artificial materials and an overall horrible design do not create a comfortable atmosphere. At breakfast, only convenience products were served instead of a fresh selection. Furthermore, the room was not properly cleaned: the bed and towels were made, and the rest was simply left lying around.

A well-maintained, beautiful hotel. Service at the reception was okay. Unfortunately, the food was abysmal. Examples: (1) Waiting time for the bill at the Senger Restaurant was over half an hour. (2) The bar was closed even though we were told it would be open the day before. Statement from employee 1: Closed for renovations. Statement from employee 2: Staff on vacation. It would be nice if the answers were honest and consistent. (3) The beer garden's opening hours were posted until 9 p.m. At 8:20 p.m., the staff sweep and lock up. Statement: "We've already been working 8 hours, with so few guests, it's not worth it," a statement from the top. Apparently, the fish stinks from the head again. A shame!

I'm honestly shocked at how much the service at DAS TEGERNSEE has declined. Unfortunately, the current level no longer meets what one would expect from a 5-star hotel, neither in terms of attentiveness, professionalism, nor cordiality. I'm aware that it's not easy to find good staff in the industry these days, but that in no way justifies this blatant drop in quality. For the price charged, you simply don't get the service you deserve. Conclusion: If you're looking for true 5-star service, you'd be better off choosing another hotel. This hotel is definitely not worth the money in its current state.

A beautiful place with great service and great food!

The hotel is beautifully situated on the mountain, and the amenities are very high-quality and aesthetically pleasing. There's a very nice spa area. Nevertheless, we were ambivalent about our stay. On several days, business events were held in the hotel. This meant that, at times, the entire lobby and breakfast area were overcrowded with attendees (and their laptops). Loud strategy discussions, especially in the pool area, were particularly unpleasant when you wanted to relax. It doesn't add up. While we understand the economic needs of such a large facility, this contradicts the promise of peace and relaxation. Other hotels handle this much better, for example, by providing separate breakfast areas for conference attendees. Also, not all of the advertised facilities were actually available. The bar was closed on some days, and the outdoor pool sometimes didn't open until 8:00 a.m. The restaurant engages in a somewhat pushy "hard selling" approach, where you constantly have to fend off the staff's platitudes. We missed the opportunity to give the hotel direct feedback, which gives the impression that the customer present and their experience aren't particularly relevant.

The location is great. But the prices correspond. The restaurant unfortunately doesn't have the best reviews. I can't say anything personally. I tried a massage for 110 euros... despite repeated requests, the massage was much too hard (for acute problems). Pure torture. Yes... I should have left. Immediately after the massage I had exactly 2 minutes to get up and get dressed. Showering was apparently not included, even though it was in the room. Despite immediately complaining to the wellness reception and reception, I had to pay the full price. The idea of ​​hotel customers receiving immediate compensation, in any form, seems to only happen in the movies. Never again!!! My back felt black and blue for days, and this on vacation.

Great view and real estate. Service below expectations. Overall the hotel feels cold without a human touch. Disorganised breakfast with people trying to catch waiters to get a coffee. Very long wait times for lunch and dinner. This has the potential to be a 5 star property but currently not living up to expectations.

A special hotel, in a prime location on Lake Tegernsee with excellent service and a wide range of offerings.

We made a reservation for our group under our name at Das Tegernsee on January 6, 2024, for a stay in July 2024. We initially planned for 11 couples, but only 6 couples attended. We booked the Das Tegernsee package, which included two nights, parking, one massage per person, breakfast, and we upgraded everyone to a five-course dinner instead of a three course dinner for both nights. Given our previous stay at the hotel we expected a seamless and memorable experience. Unfortunately, our stay was marred by several issues. Firstly, half of our rooms were on the ground floor, which was not what we expected or requested. With six months of advanced notice, we anticipated that the hotel would arrange for higher-floor rooms with better views, especially since all rooms booked were of the same category and in the same area. The event planners, Stefanie and Malena, did not check in with us prior to our arrival to confirm anything, leading to a lack of preparedness that became evident throughout our stay. The coordination of massage times was poorly handled. We were not allowed to book our massages until a week or so out from our reservation, which made no sense instead of blocking times for our party in advance. We had hoped for a relaxing experience where couples could enjoy their massages together or at similar times. Instead, the schedules were haphazard, and one couple was told they did not have massages scheduled at all. This was despite having confirmed their appointments via email and with front desk staff. Das Tegernsee sent out emails to the couples relating to their massages and stated that additional spa services were available. When one of the couples reached out to add a facial, the hotel said the service was not possible, even though they were the ones offering/upselling spa services. To make matters worse, the staff was rude to this couple, telling them that the massage time issues were their fault since they never confirmed the appointment and that they should not take the massage and leave. However, the couple had the confirmation email of their massage, and Sara from the front desk walked with them to the massage/spa area to confirm the massages. there is an obvious disconnect between the masseuses/spa and the rest of the hotel. Additionally, the hotel offered a 6 PM massage to one couple, which directly conflicted with our group's 6:30 PM dinner reservation at Das Tegernsee’s restaurant. Furthermore, our entire party was informed that parking was not included, even though the Das Tegernsee package clearly stated that parking was part of the package. This added another layer of frustration to our stay. This trip was particularly significant as it was a wedding celebration uniting two families. I had previously visited this hotel as a couple, and the experience was great, which is why I recommended it to our group. I genuinely liked Das Tegernsee, but the issues are too much to overlook. Neither the hotel manager nor the event planners, Stefanie and Malena, reached out to remedy the issues or to even offer anything that resembled an apology. I waited over a week for Das Tegernsee management or the event planners to reach out prior to submitting an updated review. It has been over a week since everyone checked out, and no one has reached out to provide any sort of customer service or to understand where they fell short. We chose the Das Tegernsee package to avoid any worries and to indulge in a hassle-free luxury experience. The hotel's consistent lack of response left a lot of room for improvement. Due to these reasons, Das Tegernsee should not be used by anyone who wants to celebrate any event of significance. If I knew Das Tegernsee would fall short as they certainly have, I would have booked at Althoff Seehotel Überfahrt, where I know they can handle a party of 12 couples properly. Althoff Seehotel is part of the AMEX Fine Hotels and Resorts collection for a reason. I hope the management takes these issues seriously and improves their coordination and customer service.

My Husband and i enjoyed our little get away at your hotel. the service was excellent, the location is stunning, the spa was really nice and had everything one would wish for. the only things we would negatively comment would be our room 804. it is a clean modern room with a nice view to the Lake. however, the bed was very uncomfortable and was moving each time one of us moved, which was annoying. we could hear each step from the people in the upper floor and sometime throughout the whole night. there was no additional chair in the room or a sideboard and the worst is, wifi was each night down and no one could fix it until the IT did a reset in the morning. the en-suite kitchen was not required and takes up lots of place..

Our stay was fantastic, as in previous years. Rooms, spa, food, everything was perfect and we had the perfect disconnect. We still have to deduct one star because the Easy Sunday package explicitly includes use of the spa on Monday until 6 p.m. Unfortunately, the spa was closed at 2 p.m. at very short notice and without warning. We understand that something can always happen (we were told repairs), but if we had known about it on Sunday evening or at least at breakfast, it would definitely have been better.

The rooms are comfortable. Nice spa area. The breakfasts are excellent. Only the cleaning is not up to standard(And in the hallway near the room there was a smell of rotten carpet(

Wir werden das Restaurant nicht mehr besuchen, da das Preis / Leistung Verhältnis nicht angemessen ist.

We have already been here 4 times, but this time we didn't leave happy or satisfied either. We had a great room with a great view of the lake (of course this location is what makes the hotel special)!! First of all, the room: unfortunately the cleanliness as well as the condition leaves a lot to be desired (mold in the shower, dirty joints, drawer broken, hair in the sink, windows need to be cleaned properly so that the view can be enjoyed more clearly 🤷🏽‍♀️) There are no more bedtime treats either, for 5 stars 🌟 highly recommended! Wellness: totally overcrowded, no good smell in the steam sauna, no enough loungers available. Even after asking why there were no longer any small snacks (nuts, etc.), we were told that they were no longer available! Amazing for the price of the hotel!!! Breakfast: A problem on Sundays as it's too full, probably due to bookings from outside. The highlight was that when we ordered (a fried egg), the service person showed her displeasure with gestures and it was noticeably too much for her. Was then apologized several times by the service manager. We also strongly recommend running the hotel like a 5 star hotel, maintaining it and improving the service and training it. We're taking a break here for now, what a shame!

Fantastic altitude of the hotel with a view of Tegernsee and the mountains. The hotel is very tastefully decorated with modern elegance, you immediately feel at home! The food is of very high quality and the evening cuisine surprises with great flavors! The best thing: the service from the employees, you immediately feel welcome, the positive spirit characterized by Bavarian warmth runs through the entire hotel - whether during spa treatments, in the restaurant, the bar or reception as well as housekeeping and luggage service. The Tegernsee - certainly an exceptional hotel with a magnificent view - but with potential for improvement in the price/performance curve. First of all, the rooms (especially Sengerschloss and view of the lake) are very nice. Breakfast great, good energy and good organization by the service manager! Location very nice. Massages great. Friendly reception. But now come the dark side. I now know the hotel from the times when it was still called Hotel Bayern. Not as luxurious as it is today, but even back then it was a pearl on Lake Tegernsee. When the hotel is busy - and this is often the case - the SPA area is overcrowded. No free loungers in the relaxation room, everything is reserved. Overall the SPA is ok but with the peace and quiet it becomes difficult. The fitness area could be improved a bit. The biggest negative point for me at the moment is the restaurant area. Booked New Year's Eve menu. It was actually a disaster. Nothing worked there. Service, wine accompaniment, quality of the food - one star! That was much better. Brasserie in the afternoon, staff totally overwhelmed! Nevertheless, professional management and attentive service managers at breakfast try to manage the situation. This is also necessary given the hotel prices. “No offense” dear Hotel Tegernsee. There is room for improvement (again).

The Tegernsee is the best hotel for a spa and wellness stay. When we entered the junior suite in Senger Castle, I couldn't hold back tears of joy!!! So beautiful! The spa is good, but the entrance was too “indoor pool-like” for me. The service is great. However, we had to fight a bit to be able to use the spa all day on the day of arrival and departure, even though this is expressly described as such on the website when booking a suite. We will definitely come back! I can barely wait for it.

Our stay at the Tegernsee Spa Hotel as part of my wife's birthday event was simply perfect. It was our first spa stay in this house and we were thoroughly impressed. Services & Amenities: The service and offerings are simply excellent. My wife had the best massage of her life - carried out by Ms. Strasser, who was incredibly professional and sensitive. She really charmed my wife. Room & Welcome: Our room in Haus Wallberg was beautiful. We were particularly pleasantly surprised by the loving details such as a small bouquet of chocolates and fresh fruit as well as the welcome drink upon check-in. Culinary: The breakfast was phenomenal - a huge selection, high quality and excellent in taste. What was particularly nice was that the birthday child was personally congratulated and a bottle of champagne with a handwritten card was brought to our room. Spa & Pools: The spa treatments were great and highly professional. The pools were at a pleasant temperature and the overall atmosphere in the spa area was relaxing and luxurious. Parking options: There are numerous parking spaces on site as well as a multi-level underground car park directly connected to the buildings - very practical and convenient. Small criticism: However, there is one small point for improvement: the WiFi was not always accessible everywhere, which we would not have expected in a hotel of this category. Conclusion: All in all, our stay was outstanding. My wife felt like a queen, which in my eyes is the greatest accolade a spa hotel can achieve. We are sure that we will come back here more often - a true gem on Lake Tegernsee!
