Sehr freundlich, nette Terrasse zum See hin. Wir haben gut gegessen, u.a. Fisch (Saibling) vom See. Wir würden wahrscheinlich wieder kommen.

Very rude staff and in which restaurant you can't pay with a card in 2024, we don't recommend it.

I like food atmosphere and location! There is a classic German cuisine. And you can try here local lake fish as well.

The food was very tasty, the service was quick, friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed the Kaiserschmarrn as a dessert. You can't get a good Kaiserschmarrn everywhere.

This was described as a sandy beach which it wasn't, It's a stoney beach. Parking was free up to 2 hours. Lake and view was lovely.

Somehow it wasn't for me...too close to the bathers. But everyone feels differently. Service was great. Food was good. Price was ok.

Incomprehensible! I have never experienced something like that! I bought an overpriced portion of fries at the snack bar and then sat down for 5 minutes to eat the fries quickly and avoid walking 500m across the entire lawn. There were probably 50% of the seats free, nothing was reserved. I just sat there for a moment and was almost finished. Suddenly an employee shouted at me from the side and asked me to leave the place because it was only for the “restaurant”. There are no signs anywhere that can prove this. A discussion didn't help with the employee's incompetence and lack of insight. It was purely a power play since she probably has no other authority. What's so bad about it if I eat there briefly and then leave immediately? Where is the problem? I don't bother anyone and I don't take up anyone's space. Dear people who are thinking about going there. Do not do it. It's better to drive to Lake Achensee in Austria, 35km further away. Much nicer, much nicer people and the food is much better (even at the beach).

We bought something at the kiosk at Tegernsee. Unfortunately there wasn't that much choice that day because the grill was out. The waitress was very friendly and did everything herself, which is probably why no one was at the grill. We then had fries with wieners. The portion was quite large and it tasted good too. I still found 8.50 quite expensive. The view of Lake Tegernsee is breathtaking.

We found this place by chance while driving past. It should be advertised a lot more as it is a beautiful place on the lake. There is a nice children's playground right next door. The food was very tasty and the prices are normal, but the friendliness of the staff should definitely be emphasized. We are with 4 adults, 4 small children and a dog. The waiter kept all 4 children happy with his open-minded, friendly manner, the ice cream orders made for many happy children's faces and even the dog was treated to a treat. Many thanks to the team at the restaurant for this lovely afternoon.

Everything is just right. Fantastic view, super delicious food - which is perfectly seasoned - Tegernsee Helles on tap, super friendly staff and very clean toilets. You couldn't ask for more! Happy to come back :)

We (two families) came here for dinner with our children after our visit to the lido. The atmosphere outside is very nice and we had a friendly waitress who tried to make up for what the boss failed: since it was full outside, we were asked to sit inside. While we were ordering, my little daughter whined (uncomfortably) loudly, whereupon the boss forbade our waitress to take our order unless I immediately silenced the child. Nothing like this has ever happened to me. The waitress apologized for her boss and asked me to order. I actually would have liked to go, but I didn't want to ruin the others' evening. I picked up my (now silent) daughter and waited outside for food. I went to the boss and calmly explained to him that I found this interaction very humiliating and that I would have liked him to de-escalate instead of escalate. He said he didn't care. I understand that other guests felt disturbed at short notice and of course I was uncomfortable that my daughter was loud for two or three minutes (which parent doesn't know these embarrassing situations?), but the boss's handling of the situation was more than inappropriate. Therefore, despite delicious food and nice service, the taste remained bland.

Honestly, one of the worst if not the worst salad I have ever eaten in my life. I forgot how much it costed but it was quiet pricey ~ 8€? When I read "wurstsalat" I thought there was gonna be pieces of sausages but it was actually this cold ham with so much red onions ans vinegar. It was kind of inedible and overpriced. Would not personally recommend.

Directly on the beach, the open air terrace is next to a big area, which is covered by grass. The foods were good, and the staff were friendly.

Great food!!! The alpine trout we ate was the best fish we've ever eaten. Very nice service, quick order fulfillment time. A beautiful view of the lake and the surrounding mountains from the restaurant's garden. A lot of space inside and a lot outside. The prices are quite high, but they go hand in hand with the quality of the meals served. I recommend it!

I actually really like the Seeglas restaurant. Bavarian cuisine right on Lake Tegernsee... is really a dream. Whether as a couple or with family, it is recommended. The prices are totally reasonable. The service was super friendly! My highlight are the cheese dumplings on salad. We will be back!

Very nice restaurant right on the lake. Parking spaces are public and chargeable and are available in good quantities. The service was very friendly and helpful. Be sure to ask what daily specials are available. The map is clear and it is best to study online beforehand to see if there is something suitable. For us it was the daily specials and the soups as a starter. The semolina dumpling soup was absolutely brilliant. It's almost impossible to get dumplings with a solid core, but that was the case here! Stuffed peppers as the main course, which also tasted like mom's. The other dishes at the neighboring tables also looked really good. The price-performance ratio was reasonable and I didn't lose faith at any point. All in all a very pleasant local visit. I would like to come by again.

We were pleasantly surprised! The service was excellent! Friendly, competent and truly Bavarian! The food is high quality and fresh! ...... I can highly recommend the roast pork! The zander fillet with honey mustard sauce is a poem! There's a REAL chef in this kitchen! Beautifully set tables, very clean, including the toilets! All in all, this is an advertisement for Bavarian hospitality, friendliness and traditional cuisine! I can only recommend the restaurant to every local and tourist! We will be back! Walking along the shore, I could breathe in the scent of fresh pine greens and wild flowers as the sun slowly sank behind the peaks. I have eaten there several times over the last 10 years. The dishes are very tasty and also relatively large. You sit comfortably and the tenant and the waiters are very friendly. Miro in particular has become very dear to us.

We were there today on the recommendation of a guest because we had business in Gmund. A very nice cafe right on the lake. We were welcomed very friendly. The sausage salad (in strips, which I really like) was very good, fresh pretzels and a non-alcoholic wheat beer with it. The good selection of cakes was also impressive. Super fast, attentive service with convincing friendliness. When the weather is nice there is a large outdoor area. We recommend

We rode our bikes to Lake Tegernsee and took a break there. We sat in the front row on the terrace and had a wonderful view of Lake Tegernsee. It's wonderful to watch the surfing and kite surfing. Coffee, Kaiserschmarrn and apple strudel were good. Toilets clean. And the staff is absolutely friendly. Thank you for the time with you.

When I walked in I was greeted very warmly. The service is friendly, professional and very attentive. It can happen that the waitress calls you on a first-name basis. Not flippantly, but with respect and warmth. I get the impression that the people in this place enjoy their jobs. The food (roast pork) was very good. Positive: there are also small portions. Here you don't have to be a pensioner or a child to get something less. Price-performance ratio fits. Many tourists and day-trippers come here, but the restaurant is not a "tourist trap" with expensive prices for bad food. On the terrace you have a wonderful view of the lake and the mountains. As a train traveler you can get there on foot in just a few minutes, and the short walk is really nice. Will come again.

We were there for lunch after our daughter's civil wedding and were very happy with everything. Food was excellent and came at the same time for all 13 people. Everyone was happy and raved. I would recommend reservation. The restaurant is of course well known and well attended due to its lakeside location.

Wir waren Ende Dezember Nachmittags dort und saßen innen. Kaffee und Kuchen waren okay, der Service war freundlich und flott. Wenn man draußen sitzt, ist man direkt am See, dann hat man einen 5-Punkte+Platz.

Wir haben schon lange nicht mehr so freundliches und motiviertes Personal angetroffen wie in diesem Café. Mit 2 Kindern und 2 kleinen Hunden, hier absolut kein Problem. Leckeres Essen zu fairen Preisen und auch gut portioniert gab es noch dazu. Hier hat jeder ausgegebene Euro seine Berechtigung gehabt. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!! 👍👍👍

Впечатления от обслуживания в кафе превзошли ожидания. Персонал был не только профессиональным, но и очень приятным. Меню разнообразное, удовлетворяющее любой вкус, и заказанные блюда были поданы невероятно быстро, несмотря на наше большое количество - нас было пять человек. Это место идеально подходит для тех, кто ценит не только великолепные виды на озеро, но и высокий стандарт обслуживания и вкуснейшую еду. Впечатляющая атмосфера, супер приятный персонал, и отличное качество блюд делают это кафе идеальным выбором для настоящих гурманов. Цены абсолютно приемлемы, особенно учитывая выдающееся качество и привлекательное местоположение. Несомненно, мы с нетерпением ждем возможности вернуться сюда снова! 👍👍👍

wenn wir in der Nähe sind machen wir dort Halt, Essen & Karte sind stetig gut, ändert sich also nicht häufig, wir haben verschiedene Gerichte schon oft probiert, Fleisch, Fisch, Vegetarisch, Kinderportionen, Desserts etc. - war schon mal ein bisschen besser, daher jetzt nur 4 Sterne (das ist aber jammern auf hohem Niveau!!) . Service top - auch die Chefs scheinen mitzuhelfen, Lage ist super am See und etwas ruhiger in diese Richtung. Parken direkt davor ist 2 Std. kostenlos aber man MUSS ein Ticket ziehen.

Daumen hoch!!! Wir waren heute als Abschluss zu unserem 1 wöchigen Tegernsee Urlaub im Restaurant Seeglas Essen. Essen super lecker und große Portionen 🤩 Auch die Jungs vom Service waren super drauf. Wir waren mehr als zufrieden und können das Restaurant nur weiterempfehlen! Sogar unser Hund hat ein paar Leckerlies bekommen 🐶

Waren im zuge einer Radreise hier zum Mittagessen, das Personal war sehr freundlich und flink, Essen sehr gut und reichlich, einfach schön am See zu sitzen und sich verwöhnen lassen. Preise für Speisen und Getränke sind in Ordnung

The restaurant has a nice terrace with a view on the Tegernsee. The staff is super friendly and the service is very fast. We didn’t even have to wait for our drinks and the food arrived fast too. We also didn’t have a problem to find a free table as the place is big enough. The food was generally good. Maybe it wasn’t the most delicious red vegan curry but still it’s a solid 4. The vegan options are very limited.

Wir waren zum ersten Mal hier und kommen auch öfter hier hin denn 2 Std kostenlos parken auf einer sehr großen Stellfläche man kann hier baden gehen man hat hier Toiletten umsonst sehr gepflegt und einen schönen Spielplatz und viel Liegeflächen und auch viele Parkbänke und zu Letzt man kann auch Schiff fahren Also was will man mehr uns hat es sehr schön und sehr gut gefallen

Von aussen unscheinbar aber innen Sehr gemütlich und die Sicht auf den See atemberaubend. Essen war sehr lecker
