The stars definitely aren't enough here! It's like a spontaneous short trip to Italy. The staff is always super friendly and in a good mood, immersing you in the world of Italy. Everyone is warmly welcomed here. The best espresso for miles around, the food is super delicious, and the absolute recommendation for all those with a sweet tooth is the pistachio cheesecake or the pistachio croissant. Breakfast here is also beyond delicious. In the evening, a heavenly espresso martini. The best part? The price-performance ratio is perfect. Grazie Ragazzi, no trip to Munich would be without you. So grateful for this wonderful feeling of life with you.

A piece of Italy in the heart of Munich! The espresso and cappuccino are authentic and incredibly delicious. The pistachio croissant and pistachio cheesecake are a real highlight – pure dolcezza! The espresso martini is also an absolute highlight. The changing daily menu never fails to impress. The value for money is absolutely spot on, and the super friendly team makes you feel like a welcome guest. I'm always happy to come back!

Nice location, prices are reasonable for the location. My meal was okay, but the sauce was a bit stale.

Unfortunately, I was disappointed on my first visit. It started with a friendly "Hello, we have a reservation," followed by an arrogant finger-pointing telling us to go around the corner. When we got there, all the tables were marked with "reserves." Since no one showed up, we chose a table. When the waitress came, she wasn't very hospitable in my opinion. She put up the blackboard with the daily menu. No smile, just a lackluster or annoyed manner. When we asked if they had a portion of pasta with tomato sauce for a child, the answer was "NO!" The prices for the food were okay; it tasted very delicious. What was really shocking, however, was how much they charged for a bottle of water.

I ordered pasta to go, paid, and waited for my food to be ready so I could pick it up. But I still had a Red Bull in my hand, and the man at the bar asked me to leave, saying I had a Red Bull in my hand, which I didn't buy there, even though I had ordered food there, paid, and waited to pick it up. In my opinion, that's completely unacceptable, and I will never come here again and will never recommend it to anyone. There are many better bars where you can eat and drink in Ingolstadt.

Drinks were good, service was not! We had reserved a table and, despite having a reservation, had to wait 15 minutes in the narrow passageway. The waiter seemed disinterested and slightly stressed. Overall, the service was just not good. The bill also ended up being charged for the wrong wine. There was no apology for that either. It's a shame, because the drinks were delicious. The atmosphere is typically Italian, but the noise level is very high overall.

We had brunch at Bar Centrale and absolutely loved it. The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented—simple Italian done right. Since the small but exquisite blackboard menu changes daily, everything is always fresh and arrives promptly. This is important if you have an appointment at the theater, opera, etc. Friendly and attentive service. A piece of Italy in Munich.

Terrible service. Upon arrival, they send you to the back. They ask you what you're ordering. When you order a coffee from the menu, they tell you it's not available in that area and to go ahead. We clearly left.

What a fantastic place, day and night. Tasty food, great coffee, nice wine, and at good prices. Staff were fun and seemed to truly enjoy their work, and added to the already great atmosphere of the space itself. Absolutely recommend going.

Is and remains my favorite bar in Munich!

Coffee, cocktails: 5 stars, Italy at its best...food: NO. Ravioli with truffle sauce...let's just say you can get better pasta in the cafeteria (and even cheaper!). The sauce was pure cream, no salt, nothing. Definitely a cool place, except for the food.

Been there for the breakfast and the food was great. The service was awesome. If you’re new in Germany, or in the euro be careful that the water is not free and it’s gonna be twice as expensive as a beer which was a surprise for us.

We had our aperitivo there. A nice Custoza, along with excellent bruschetta, a few olives, and some cheese. Attentive and friendly service. Reservations are recommended.

We went for a beer around 00:00 on Saturday, the place was still full of people and the security stopped us from entering the bar, saying they were closed, although we could see everything was still running. Back home we use to value a lot italian cordiality, but this place doesn’t seem to share any of that. Terrible experience, I wouldn’t recommend anyone to go there.

When in Munich, you have to go to Bar Centrale. An Italian hotspot in Bavaria with a fantastic Italian breakfast and top-notch coffee. You'll usually also meet typical "Munich locals..."

Very authentic, reasonable prices, good food, nice ambience, and you have the option to sit outside.

This is good 👍🏼 They have probably the best Flat White in the city. A must try! 🥰

Very friendly staff. Freshly baked croissants with pistachio filling and a delicious latte macchiato, plus a platter with salad, salami, cheese, and freshly cooked scrambled eggs. Excellent! Highly recommended. And the shop itself is very nice, with a lovely Italian style. They greet guests with "Bon Giorno," and I feel like I'm in Italy, fantastic!

Yes, it is a nice place, but although I asked politely, I couldn't understand whether I wanted a beer or borrowed money. The bartender and waiter were not very polite. They seemed to say, "We don't want you to come." This is not how you should treat guests in your city.

Service good, wine great, unfortunately I think €11 for a 0.75 liter bottle of water is completely excessive. You need water with your alcoholic drinks and the price should be adjusted.

Cute little bar with limited seats but served Italian breakfasts. Freshly squeezed orange juice and its carrot-orange-ginger were divine. Sandwiches and the ham eggs we ordered were especially elevated with the balsamic vinegar they added.

It seems like there might be an attempt to fit too many tables into the available space, which affects the overall dining comfort. Overall, the combination of excellent food, delightful cocktails, and attentive service make it a restaurant worth visiting, despite the minor issue with table space. The space being cramped is the only reason I can’t give it a 5 star review.

Small Italian bar/café - somewhat hidden in a side street. Service was very friendly and helpful. Delicious latte macchiato and a very tasty breakfast. Well attended, so I recommend making a reservation - I was lucky to get a table for another hour.

Went to the Centrale bar in Munich today and it was like a short trip to Italy. The shop is small but super cozy. The coffee was great and the staff was really friendly. You can tell that there are a lot of regulars here. We were lucky and got a table. The pasta was fresh and delicious. Prices are ok for the location. We'll definitely be back

It’s such a fun place! Great place to meet with friends and drink some wine/ champagne with some italian aperitivos. Good food, great service, very fun waiters, atmosphere is so lively (don’t come here if you don’t like crowded and loud places, we loved it!), the italian chaos was real and it was like an Italian fountain in the middle of a German desert 😂

This bar is a disgrace. I came in to order a drink, obviously in all politeness, and they threw me out like a piece of shit even though I was with my wife. They treated me like I was worthless. In my life I have never been treated like that and looked down upon as much as that. To avoid

Love this place - great food, great buzz, great service

We took two cornetto, one with pistachio/one with vanilla, and two Americanos. The pistachio was the best one I have eaten in Munich, it was delicious. The coffee also is well and strong, like a typical italian roast. Would also recommend that, if you are looking for darker stronger roasts. Sadly we didn’t took pictures of the pistachio one.

A real Italian Americano, served with hot water and hot milk to mix one's preferred strength...but pricey: 4,70!

The restaurant is small and therefore there are a lot of people. Getting a place is rather unusual. Not at all on the weekend. Still a nice bar. Eventually we get a seat

All you need to feel like in Italy while being in Munich - no better place for an Aperol Spritz

Unfortunately we were completely disappointed! The reviews here were promising. But the food was anything but lovingly made. Bruschetta with completely tasteless tomatoes, a splash of balsamic syrup on top (brrrr) and limp baguette underneath. The ravioli with ricotta and shrimp filling was also almost inedible. The tomato sauce on top was way too much and tasted like ready-made pizza sauce!!!!! The only good thing was the Negroni. Unfortunately, the recommended white wine didn't taste good at all. The service felt like it was the best, nicest and coolest and we had the impression that everyone was annoyed and stressed about our order. No no... Italian cuisine really doesn't work that way! Too bad.

Favourite place in Europe for a coffee. That’s a big call. These guys are pro’s. The place is crowded, wall to wall people at all times of the day. Everyone is happy! How could you not be! It’s just simply everything you want in one small little coffee and wine bar. ❤️

It is a small place, but it is a place that will stand out among Munich alternatives where you can drink your drinks while standing at the front entrance and dancing lightly. There is also an inner courtyard at the back, I didn't choose to sit there, but the entrance bar area was extremely enjoyable.

just nice. also a bit loud. excellent espresso. Someone in the back bar somehow mistook my black cashmere scarf for their own and the bar staff were so helpful in figuring out where my scarf might be. Unfortunately we couldn't find out who took it, but I'm hopeful if it turns out I'll hear about it!

Amazing Italian Bar with great food options

A very special location. In the style of an Italian restaurant from the 1960s. The service was super friendly and competent. There was a small menu, but with top products. The only downer was the noise, which suits this location. An insider tip with an inconspicuous facade from the outside. Highly recommended as a lunch stop.
