Delicious cappuccino, crispy croissants with pistachio cream. And pancakes. With a huge (!) portion of pistachio cream. Atmosphere like in an Italian bar. With Italian oldies as 44⁴⁴⁴ music. We like you.

Simply cool, and it's been that way for a long time! Delicious food, good café and casual in the evening. I always enjoy coming here.

Great authentic place, quirky set up, very small seats sand tables. Fresh menu on a blackboard ( the kitchen is tiny, I don’t know how the chef cooks everything, it’s amazing) friendly attentive staff. Just a little over priced but great quality ingredients. Thank you!

This bar is a disgrace. I came in to order a drink, obviously in all politeness, and they threw me out like a piece of shit even though I was with my wife. They treated me like I was worthless. In my life I have never been treated like that and looked down upon as much as that. To avoid

Every visit to Munich starts or ends at Bar Centrale 10/10

We took two cornetto, one with pistachio/one with vanilla, and two Americanos. The pistachio was the best one I have eaten in Munich, it was delicious. The coffee also is well and strong, like a typical italian roast. Would also recommend that, if you are looking for darker stronger roasts. Sadly we didn’t took pictures of the pistachio one.

The restaurant is small and therefore there are a lot of people. Getting a place is rather unusual. Not at all on the weekend. Still a nice bar. Eventually we get a seat

A real Italian Americano, served with hot water and hot milk to mix one's preferred strength...but pricey: 4,70!

Unfortunately we were completely disappointed! The reviews here were promising. But the food was anything but lovingly made. Bruschetta with completely tasteless tomatoes, a splash of balsamic syrup on top (brrrr) and limp baguette underneath. The ravioli with ricotta and shrimp filling was also almost inedible. The tomato sauce on top was way too much and tasted like ready-made pizza sauce!!!!! The only good thing was the Negroni. Unfortunately, the recommended white wine didn't taste good at all. The service felt like it was the best, nicest and coolest and we had the impression that everyone was annoyed and stressed about our order. No no... Italian cuisine really doesn't work that way! Too bad.

All you need to feel like in Italy while being in Munich - no better place for an Aperol Spritz

El café y el croissant eran excelentes. El personal era divertido y servicial. Volví a entrar al final de la tarde para un martini expresso muy agradable.

The truffle pasta really wasn’t it. Fatty but not creamy.

Favourite place in Europe for a coffee. That’s a big call. These guys are pro’s. The place is crowded, wall to wall people at all times of the day. Everyone is happy! How could you not be! It’s just simply everything you want in one small little coffee and wine bar. ❤️

Nice experience, even if it was very loud and not that comfortable to sit. We found the service a bit snippy, the food was good, but the ravioli were a bit small. The wine was great!

It is a small place, but it is a place that will stand out among Munich alternatives where you can drink your drinks while standing at the front entrance and dancing lightly. There is also an inner courtyard at the back, I didn't choose to sit there, but the entrance bar area was extremely enjoyable.

just nice. also a bit loud. excellent espresso. Someone in the back bar somehow mistook my black cashmere scarf for their own and the bar staff were so helpful in figuring out where my scarf might be. Unfortunately we couldn't find out who took it, but I'm hopeful if it turns out I'll hear about it!

The bar is well located in the center, good coffee. Everything else is not bad, you can easily make a stop at the central bar.

Amazing Italian Bar with great food options

A very special location. In the style of an Italian restaurant from the 1960s. The service was super friendly and competent. There was a small menu, but with top products. The only downer was the noise, which suits this location. An insider tip with an inconspicuous facade from the outside. Highly recommended as a lunch stop.

This one can definitely be called “Munich Good Old Classics” - tiny place in the heart of the city, focused on all things Italian, so you get greeted with Ciao Bella instead of regular Servus. Gets crowded and buzzy in the evening, compact menu written on a blackboard and rotating. The flair and all the variations of Spritz get the entire city hooked, so prepare to either book in advance, or get a small table and neighbor a random date hearing bits of it - it’s all the part of the game. Overall a must visit, especially if you are a tourist and want to see where locals go.

Schöne authentische italienische Bar. Leckeres Essen, gute Getränke und freundliches Personal, dass auch im Hochbetrieb den Überblick nicht verliert! Hier unbedingt mal vorbei schauen, wenn man in MUC ist!

Rotwein zu kalt, Pasta zu kalt, Sitzgelegenheit und "Tische" für ein Essen grenzwertig. Die Bedienung immerhin war freundlich.

„Früher war alles besser!“ - hier stimmt der Satz. Früher war am Wochenende gute und ausgelassene Stimmung. Früher war zu später Stunde laute italienische Musik. Früher waren die Drinks toll und in schönen Gläsern, auch Softdrinks/Wasser mit Eiswürfeln. Früher war der Service fröhlich und lustig/ „überdreht“ Italienisch. Früher waren die Gäste spannend. Früher war das Essen einfach, aber sehr gut / frisch und dazu auch noch preiswert. Früher hat es auch abends immer sehr großen Spaß gemacht, hinzugehen. Das war früher. Jetzt leider nur noch Durchschnitt - austauschbar wie überall. Schade.

Eine Bar mit italienischem Flair. Hektisch und laut. Schön für einen Cappuccino , Wein oder einen Aperol. Aber die wenigen Pasta Gerichte, die sie anbieten, sind grottenschlecht. Und das interessiert sie noch nicht einmal.

Cozy and authentic little shop with good drinks, great café and really good pasta dishes for lunch. Small tables and stools as well as benches, you sit rather close together but fit the relaxed Italian flair. Prices are fair for the quality offered but not super cheap.

This bar is a staple for us whenever we visit Munich. Best coffee, best tiramisu, best atmosphere, a piece of Italy!

It's definitely a place to go for a coffee and have one of their famous pistachio croissants. It's a must-have they do sell out.

There was no more beer, little space and a lot going on.

Best hidden gem in Munich. Excellent espresso and killer pistachios croissant. From the outside this place doesn’t look much but it’s an amazing place frequented by locals. A hole in the wall that’s amazing to visit to get your coffee and pastry fix.

A small Italian enclave in Munich that immediately makes you feel at home. Simple but very tasty food. Kind and friendly staff who also speak Italian and English. Great atmosphere. For those who miss real Italian flavors.

We were there yesterday with our Christmas party and made reservations in advance. We had to sign a contract with one menu per person. Three people were unable to take part on the day due to illness. According to the contract, we should have given notice two days in advance (on a Sunday), otherwise the full number of people would be charged. Now we just paid around €90 for free without anything in return and there was no response. It's a shame, the food was actually quite good, but this is just a rip-off. The store was very busy (on a Tuesday) so no additional damage would have been caused if the three people had not been charged. It was also unbearably loud in the back. It's just a shame that you can obviously afford to have so little customer focus. That was the last time for our company.

Top Service und super aufmerksam! Ich finde es super wenn mir aktiv etwas angeboten wird. Man merkt das die Jungs ihren Job mögen. Leckeres Frühstück! Ich finde es nur etwas eng und unbequem, da die Stühle keine Rückenlehne haben. Ich bekomme da schnell Rückenschmerzen. Aber ansonsten echt super tolle Location! :)

Offenbar kann man vorne nicht reservieren, worum ich gebeten hatte, sondern nur hinten. Dort ist es aber nicht nur unerträglich laut (gewesen) sondern auch unerträglich unbequem. Wir sind also gleich wieder gegangen. Beim nächsten mal vielleicht besser bei der Reservierung auf solche Einschränkungen hinweisen oder noch besser: Anfragen beantworten

Just honest and authentic. If you have no time to travel to Italy travel to Bar Centrale. Such a warm welcome, such a great place, such good drinks and food. I come here every time I go to Munich. Highly recommended.

Have been coming here for years and this place never disappoints. Whether for dinner or just a drink. The staff are highly engaging and the atmosphere is quite unique. You will be bound to have a great time here with friends. I think I’ve had almost all the pasta dishes on the menu. Tip: at the front bar ask for their tiramisu. It’s the right portion for all you sweet toothed individuals out there.

Authentic Italian bar. Italian music is playing and the waiters speak Italian. The cafe tastes good! Unfortunately, the cornetti doesn't taste very fresh, but rather a little firmer after 11/12 o'clock.

My favorite restaurant in Munich. I have been many times and have never been dissatisfied. The waiters are very kind, the prices are really fair and the food is always perfect.

We were there spontaneously for brunch on Sunday. I would definitely recommend a reservation - it is well attended and with good reason. Was very good. It comes very close to the feeling in Italy.

Even though our visit took place on a weekday morning, the café was completely full. The service was busy, but still super nice. The pistachio cornetto and the cappuccino were great, but unfortunately the focaccia with vegetables and cheese didn't really suit our taste

Great service, great food, and drinks. It’s almost hard to get a place to sit, as it gets full and crowded. It’s not the best place if you wanna sit down and have a cosy conversation, but cool to catch up for drinks and a fun day/evening out.

Bar storico in pieno centro, siamo stati sia per la colazione, dove potrete gustare dei buonissimi cornetti, sia per la cena, con piatti di pasta buoni ed abbondanti, prezzi onesti. Il bar ha personale tutto italiano, simpatici e disponibili, sempre strapieno di gente. Andateci se passate da queste parti, non ve ne pentirete.

Kaum steht man im Lokal fühlt man sich direkt wie in Italien. Das Essen war sehr lecker, kam schnell, der Service war supernett. Obwohl das Lokal voll voll voll war. Die "Signore di Zurigo" bedanken sich ganz herzlich bei Livio für den super Service!

A real highlight in the heart of Munich! The Bar Centrale is the perfect place for a little break. I tried the cheesecake with pistachios – simply world class! The combination of creamy cheesecake and the pistachio flavor was a delight. There was also a wonderfully prepared cappuccino that was absolutely convincing in terms of taste and texture. The atmosphere is relaxed and authentic, with a touch of Italian flair, and the service was friendly and attentive. A great café for anyone who appreciates quality and attention to detail. I'll definitely be back and can only recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy a good cup of coffee and something sweet in Munich!

Nette Bar mit gutem Licht- und Musikambiente, Tagesgerichte sehr lecker und Getränke gut. Zunächst sehr aufmerksamer Service, dieser war im Laufe des Abends mehr und mehr mit sich selbst und dem baldigen Feierabend beschäftigt, sodass man dann mehr als 15min auf Bestellung weiterer Getränkerunden warten musste.

Magical, pop off kings. Croissant, exquisite. Latte, exquisite. Literally don’t go to any other cafe in Munich. You have found the place u will be eating breakfast at for the stay of ur trip. Congratulations.

This bar is clearly doing too well these days. When the bar gets full, the staff are often unfriendly and unmotivated and prefer to spend time discussing in Italian who should be served and who shouldn't. No smile or thanks for tips. Overpriced and loveless drinks. It's no fun anymore. Maybe it would make more sense to let a few fewer guests in but then serve them with heart and mind rather than completely overloading yourself and then becoming unfriendly.

Crusty yet soft cornetti, amazing taste and smell. Nice cappuccino and lovely staff. Most of the time it is fully booked and the service is ok.

A typical Italian café in the middle of Munich city center. The café is truly Italian (spirits are awakened!), the service is attentive and charming with good charm. The other drinks and dishes also leave nothing to be desired. It's not always easy to get a table, but there's always time for an espresso at the bar.
