Vino e Gusto is a little gem. It was our first time there, and we were treated like family. Guido is an excellent host who genuinely cares about creating a unique experience for his guests. A truly special Italian, highly recommended.

Very good, we had the AZ dining menu. The courses were each well-seasoned, the Rindchen wines were a good match, two of which I found particularly good. There was ample time between courses, and the portions were pleasant. The service was friendly and very pleasant, without any rush. Relaxed atmosphere. We felt very comfortable.

We dined here yesterday as part of the AZ Dinner. Everything was perfect: the food, the drinks, the service, the ambiance, even the dogs. It was definitely one of the best dinners in its class ever!

I booked a table very spontaneously last Saturday and enjoyed a fantastic 5-course menu as part of the AZ Dining Class. Every single course was spot on, as were the wines selected and presented by the chef. Definitely worth a visit!

this restaurant was down from our hotel so we decided to try it. It was a very good restaurant. It was a very hot evening so we were sitting inside at a window and it was still very hot but we enjoyed our dinner. We had salmon delicious piece of salmon, and we also had a pasta bolognese which was good and we had the Capriccio salad Indoor outdoor seating with construction right in front of the door, so it didn’t make a very nice atmosphere to look out at buildings being built and it’s very pricey

We ordered multiple times during our stay in Munich and we are BIG fans! Every dish was amazingly fresh and so tasty. We will miss it dearly when we go back home. Thanks a lot for the great service.

After a few days of great German food, we were looking for something different. Vino e Gusto is just a rock throw from our hotel so we stopped in for dinner. We received a warm greeting, sat at a great table, and had outstanding service. The wine list is top notch, yet reasonably priced. The food was the real star. I had the spaghetti done in the parmesan wheel, served with shaved truffles. It was the best I've ever had. The beef carpaccio was also really good. Desert was skipped - too full. We had such a great experience that we went back the next night and both had their filet. Delisious and very tender. Both waiters were great, and the owner has got to be most personable person I've met. Oh, and his two dogs are just so cute!

Visited for the second time today, and once again had a fantastic meal! Friendly service, and to top it all off, I met the incredibly friendly owner Guido and the two feel-good managers. 🐾 If you don't go there, it's your own fault! Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Great service, I went for a late lunch 2:30 and service was wonderful, very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. Food was good, truly Italian. Although is very very expensive, specially the wines. But all good. The only negative point is that it was 30 degrees and no air conditioning at all, that made me not try desert neither have a coffee. Overall a good but pricey experience.

By chance (there are no coincidences) we passed Vino e Gusto and were attracted by the lovingly set tables, the Italian flair and the ambience. The pasta was great. My husband loves carbonara, tries it very often and is usually disappointed. He was more than thrilled with this carbonara and regretted only having the small portion. Great wine selection, great service, very nice boss. Many thanks to Georg and the team for this lovely afternoon, which turned out to be much longer than planned.

Disappointing and disrespectful treatment I attended the ART & CULINARY event yesterday and was unfortunately very disappointed. The culinary part, which we were particularly looking forward to, was hardly worth mentioning - much more was promised here than was ultimately offered. What particularly caught our attention was the owner, who was extremely disrespectful and arrogant towards us. This kind of treatment of guests is absolutely unacceptable to me. We finally left the store early - and one thing is certain: we definitely won't be coming back.

Five stars is inadequate for the beautiful feeling we got being welcomed into Vino e Gusto by Guido (the owner). Despite, or maybe because of our tired cranky toddler he welcomed us in for takeaway with a complimentary drink and made us feel relaxed and at home. All his staff were so accomodating and the dogs were welcome companions for us and our boy. When we got to taste the food our brains exploded once more. It was simply divine. We feel so lucky to have found this place after such a long day traveling with a cranky baby. Thank you!

Truffle pasta, carbonara, penne with swordfish, fillet of beef tasted all ok. The truffle pasta was supposed to have been served in the cheese wheel in front of us but the server couldn’t be bothered to do it for us so we were very disappointed. The pumpkin soup was overly salty. Bread was forgotten to be served to us as well. Service was not good at all for this fine dining Italian restaurant as server didn’t appear more than half the time and basically plonked everything down. The server even tried to get a 20% tip which he didn’t deserve. Overall a very expensive meal that was not value for money. Not recommended at all.

Lovely restaurant with wonderful service and charming owner. Food was very good- good selection and specials. Enjoyed everything we ordered. The owner’s bulldog strolling in the restaurant made it feel like you were in a welcoming home. Would highly recommend.

Fantastic Italian restaurant in Munich. My wife and I had the special tagliatelle pasta with black truffle and guanciale, as well as the carbonara. We also had the pumpkin soup for appetizer and chocolate lava cake for dessert. All of it was absolutely fantastic. In addition, the decor was excellent for a Christmas vacation - cozy with tasteful decorations. Best of all, the restaurant has two beautiful bulldogs belonging to the (very nice) owner who roam the restaurant and provide love to all the guests. Strongly encourage a visit to this gem of a restaurant.

Awful place especially for folks who are not white. The staff is racist and nice only to white folks.

There's nothing wrong with the food. I find it very strange that beer is only available in 0.3 size. The fact that a pint of beer costs 8 to 9 euros is just the way it is, and you should stand by that and offer a pint of beer at that price on the menu. What was completely impossible, however, was the boss's intolerant and aggressive behavior towards my colleague, who didn't like his very "domestic" large dogs... We are at 4 to the waiter's very ultimate demand for "at least 10% tip". -digit bill was not met under the conditions described.

We had a wonderful dinner here on a cold December night. The atmosphere was so cozy and adorable and decorated for Christmas. The pumpkin soup was a great starter and my daughter and I both loved the spaghetti prepared on the Parmesan wheel with black truffle. My son enjoyed Penne Napoli and my husband loved his bolognese. Our server was attentive and helpful. Food served quickly and everything was delicious. This restaurant was highly recommended by our hotel and it was the perfect spot for us.

Thank you for arranging a table and accommodating our family even though it was busy over Christmas weekend. I traveled from Italy to Germany, and found that the food was just as delicious as the most impressive restaurant in Italy, the owner was so good at jokes that you'd always want to talk to him, the cute bulldogs, and the warm atmosphere despite the busy schedule. The spaghetti made from a parmesan wheel with black truffle was a taste experience, the service was original and very friendly, and the ambience was extremely tasteful. However, I found the prices to be more like €€€. Thumbs up, Guido 👍It's a shame we missed each other. Sven

Unfortunately, the value for money in this Italian restaurant is disappointing. The prices are clearly too high for an average ambience and normal service. Relatively unpretentious food and drinks, (simple pasta: spaghetti with shrimps/ penne with meat, each with tomatoes, for just under 25,- and 27,- euros per dish and two glasses with over 32 euros and a bottle of water for 9.30 euros), is unreasonably expensive and does not reflect any special quality or an exceptional culinary experience. It's a shame, because the potential for a better overall experience is definitely there.

Das Essen war ordentlich, jedoch die Auswahl für ein gehobenes italienisches Restaurant eher mager. Die Tische stehen sehr eng so dass man sich mit den Nachbarn auf Tuchfühlung befindet. Dementsprechend ist der Geräuchpegel extrem hoch, was eine normale Unterhaltung unmöglich macht.

We were invited here as a birthday present and had no idea what a great present they had given my friend. Everything is great! From the entrée with champagne to the aperitif, prime piatti, secondi piatti to the crowning dolci... go and experience it for yourself. It was an unforgettable evening. Thank you, Guido.

Delicious food and very tasty wines but the atmosphere was more than just strange…

The owner was very nice and promised us a table within 15 minutes without a reservation. Unfortunately on the very cold window front. The portion was small (spaghetti mare/monte with prawns and eggplant) for a hefty price of €32. I asked whether the recipe that was described as slightly spicy could also be made unspiced. Answer: no problem, everything is prepared fresh anyway. Unfortunately it was spicy. The aubergines were more boiled than fried, 3 prawns that smelled slightly musty, topped with 0.2 liters of white wine (open) for the hefty price of €15. My companion had salmon, which was good, but came with overcooked vegetables instead of al dente. In addition, the 20-year-old habitus: the waiter with the pepper mill, as if you couldn't do it yourself, and good old Parmesan in a box with a silver lid. My conclusion: far too expensive for the quality!

Our group of 10 were in Munich for the NFL weekend. We were lucky to get a late reservation for such a large group on a Friday night. Guido and his team were FANTASTIC! We were made to feel at home right away. Friendly conversation with all the team members. They were very helpful with wine and fantastic food selections. Everything about the evening was perfect. Guido took the time to mingle with our table, and introduce us to his two children. Two beautiful bulldogs. 100% the best dining experience we had in Munich. We actually stopped in for a drink later the next night. We found a wallet on the step going in, and gave it to Guido. It was one of his customers. He paid for our bottle of wine. My favorite restaurant we went to while visiting Munich. The owner and staff were great. Food, drinks, and atmosphere are great. There are 2 English bulldogs who roam around and are very friendly. 10/10 recommend this place.

Had a charming visit to Vino e Gusto during Oktoberfest. The food was beautifully prepared. The setting is intimate and cozy as a wine bar. The service could be a bit more polished for the atmosphere, but pleasant enough.

The reviews of the past few days are lies. This restaurant was like home. I went with friends and family and we had a wonderful time! The restaurant has a rich history and the service team is a family. Guido is a gem and I cannot thank him enough for making our night so special. This is how italian dining should be.

I’m Italian, i was yesterday evening there and if i would say something, just Perfekt place with really nice Italian food, if you want to eat in relax and taste some beautifull wine from Italy it’s Perfect! The service was nice and the people friendly! I would raccomand this place!

Total disaster, one star in the absence of zero... ...can only advise everyone not to be blinded by the many reviews and a few stupid dog pictures here. The service was not only unfriendly, but also anxious to get rid of us as quickly as possible. The food was days old, the shrimp was dirty, the pasta was completely bland and the salad was sour. There were no wine recommendations and it had the character of a self-service canteen. Were shown off by the waiter because we couldn't pronounce perfect Italian. In the end the fun cost almost 200 euros for two people, I wouldn't normally even take this rubbish as a gift!

That was the most embarrassing restaurant visit of our lives. The pasta was overcooked. The owner asks if it was tasty. They say “the pasta was overcooked”. He then blamed us for saying that this couldn't be right and even got loud. We then left the table. Please avoid this place if you want to be treated like a normal person.

I went there with my friends for a nice evening, but that was not nice at all. We ordered two truffle pastas (one was mine), and unfortunately, they were overcooked—no question about it. These things happen, even to the best ones ;) When the waiter (extremely nice) noticed I hadn’t finished my dish, he asked how my €30 pasta was. I politely let him know, but didn’t ask for a discount or replacement—like I said, it happens to everyone. Shortly after, the owner sat down at our table, right next to me, and confronted me in front of everyone, insisting that what I said couldn’t be true. He said that all his customers find his pasta perfect and majestic, and that, being an engineer, he knows the pasta process perfectly, so I must be wrong. I tried to reply to him, but he told me to shut up several times—something no stranger has ever dared to say to me in such a way. Of course, we left immediately and will never return. In Italy, we say, “il cliente ha sempre ragione”. I don’t expect anything like that, but avoiding discussions of that level and not telling women to shut up when they want to speak would be a good start.

I still can't believe what just happened. We wanted to spend a nice evening in a good atmosphere and unfortunately had to leave the restaurant due to an argument with the owner. Unfortunately, the Italian-charming criticism of the overcooked pasta was taken so badly that we will probably never come back. Avoid at all costs if you don't want to have unexpected unpleasant experiences! Thanks to the great waiter who wanted to save the bad mood.

We wanted to celebrate my birthday and commented that the completely crumbled pasta was overcooked without expressing an expectation of a refund or replacement. The owner then came not to argue with us, but to “inform” us that we were absolutely wrong because, as a qualified engineer, he cooks perfect pasta. We then kindly left the restaurant and will definitely never come back. Thanks for the great celebration!

I'm from Japan. It was all great meal! Especially the truffle pasta very delicious! I ate tiramisu every day during my stay in Germany, but this was the best! The service was very good and the food came out quickly. I'll definitely come here again when I visit Munich. It's very popular so we recommend making a reservation.
