Beautiful classic Italian Osteria with classic and very high quality food. The service is very friendly. The prices are high, but okay for the quality. We can particularly recommend the Vitello Tonnato!

Excellent authentic Italian restaurant with delicious food and an excellent wine list. Always various pasta de la casa dishes as well as meat and fish dishes. The orecchiette were very good (with baby calamari and wild garlic pesto / starter) - for the main course there was sea bass (grilled / with asparagus variation and turmeric foam) which was also excellent. Will definitely dine here again.

Unscheinbar von außen und unspektakulär auch innen, überzeugte uns das Restaurant kulinarisch auf ganzer Linie! Toller Service, ausgezeichnete Gerichte und top Qualität und dazu noch warmherzige Atmosphäre. Werden bestimmt wieder hierher kommen! Ganz großes Lob!!!

Leider hatten wir keine Gelegenheit das Restaurant zu testen, da dieses trotz Reservierung und Bestätigung geschlossen hatte. Es wäre freundlich und professionell gewesen, wenn das Team den Termin mit Vorlauf storniert hätte, so wäre uns die sinnlose Anreise erspart geblieben.

Still the best “noble Italian” I know in Munich. I came here for the first time many years ago on the recommendation of my sister, and since then at irregular and, as I always think, far too long intervals. The service is beyond reproach, professional and friendly. The food is sensational and creative and the ambience is stylish and classy. Top.

Unfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to test the restaurant because it was closed despite reservations and confirmations. It would have been friendly and professional if the team had canceled the appointment in advance, so we would have been spared the pointless journey.

Perfektes Essen. Perfektes Wein. Perfektes Service… Espresso direkt zum Nachtisch wie es sich gehört…das essen ist von höchste Qualität

Ambiente curato e accogliente, servizio attento. Il menu è abbastanza classico, forse un po’ troppo, tra tortini al formaggio e pesce alla griglia. Il dessert Bibulus ci ha invece piacevolmente sorpresi sia per originalità che per gusto.

"Rifugio" of apulian nature - very good food, tasty - owners of admirable nature - bring some good mood along, to enjoy - The "writing" is not new, but (rare in these days) the "story" is still true. Moving ! ++ What is the most "delicate person" to take to a restaurant ? Yes, your own wife, and I can hardly describe how well we have been "treated". It makes over 30 years that I stay in Munich, but this is one of the places to "go" to. GRAZIE ! Bibulus is a "ristorante", for sure, quite fashionable, not cheap. Located, once more fashionable (these days) close to Münchner Freiheit (immigrants from NRW will never understand) , at the crossing of Clemens-Straße and Wilhelm-Straße. Erich-Mühsam-Platz. He was a writer. 4 minutes from U-Bahn. In summer time, quite some tables outside, it is quiet. And, also, some times important, Bibulus is a place of great discretion, the waiters being of really supreme quality. Afterwards, you will learn that the waiters, incredible caracters, belong to the owners of the place, before working at one of the most renowned places of Italian restaurants in Munich. +++ The great quality of the menu list is that the choices to be made are not ecclectic. As I always explain to guests (there have been many !) everything is (really) delicious, and no harm to go for two starters. - Apulia has no high mountains, but I - and the waiters know it - imagined Bibulus as a kind of rifugio in the mountains, and you come exhausted, in need of food. May be some little soup first, great. Bibulus, still, is delicious, to the utmost. It got a very "Munich" place, but - this is precious, "Old Munich", the highest category you can get up. I was sitting with my former colleague in front of the bar (you need Ages to get there ..), and our neighbour came from ... Old Munich ! So, we had some words, on Jorge Semprun, a writer. And on 2002 ! And we have been eating Pasta, with some sugo, for sure "Apulian mountain style", tasty, very enjoyable, simple, mountains. The parfait at the very end was absolutely delicious. I had some Moscato, sparkling, before leaving. GREAT place, indeed . FLOATING !

Schönes Restaurant,und im Sommer sehr angenehmer Aussenbereich. Service freundlich und sehr bemüht. Gute Weinauswahl und fachmännische Beratung. Zum Essen: Für meinen Geschmack etwas fad,also gut zubereitet aber irgendwie hat überall etwas gefehlt um zu sagen,Wow das würde ich glatt nochmal essen Im Allgemeinen eine gute Adresse und auch mit Kleinkindern willkommen

Klein aber fein bekommt hier eine neue Dimension. Das Restaurant unterscheidet sich deutlich von den vielen italienischen Pizzeria die ich hier so oft gesehen habe. Sehr gute Qualität in jedes Detail und Gerichte, die man wirklich in einem italienischen Restaurant (und keine Touristen-Falle)finden würde, machen die leicht höheren Preisen im Vergleich zu der gewöhnlichen Pizzeria/Trattoria absolut wert. Bitte reservieren und nicht hingehen, wenn man nur eine sparsame Pizza sucht.

Man sitzt sehr schön auf der Terrasse, guter Service, gute Qualität der Speisen, die Speisekarte ist klein man ,findet immer etwas, bieten zwei Tagesmenüs mittags an. Preislich im oberen Bereich, entspricht aber der Essensqualität.

Ottimo ristorante con ottimo cibo e servizio. Ubicati in un zona tranquilla ma in centro. Ci ritorneremo sicuramente e lo consiglio vivamente a tutti!

Für mich absolute Oberklasse... Wir wurden alle sehr freundlich empfangen und auf rückfragen wurde prompt und höflich geantwortet. Allen hat es sehr gut geschmeckt und die Portionen waren absolut ausreichend. Natürlich kostet es was - aber qualität kostet eben! Definitiv noch einmal.... 😉 Auf der Speisekarte steht noch mehr Kulinarisches was probiert werden muss 🤤

Gute italienische Küche abseits von Pizza und Pasta, schöne Weinkarte und gute Beratung. Die Preise sind gehoben aber für München gerade noch, im Wortsinn, preiswert.

Das Essen war gut. Etwas mehr Liebe zum Detail könnte man insgesamt haben. Der Apperativo Francicorta war eher verhalten - alt ( länger geöffnet ) und nicht besonders spritzig. Umgehauen hat es mich nicht. Es war insgesamt okay. Aber die Frage ob man für okay bezahlen möchte , als wäre es sehr gut, ist halt so ne Sache.

Nach längerem wieder ein Besuch im bibulus. Fazit: fantastische frische und sehr delikate Küche. Pasta, Fisch, Fleisch, Weinauswahl- und Beratung - alles top und etwas besonderes. Service perfekt, elegant eingedeckt, edles Ambiente. Hier ist Italien in Schwabing seit langem angekommen, was für ein großes Glück - bravissimo!

Bester Italiener in der Gegend mit kurzer aber sehr innovativer Karte und durchaus edlem Ambiente. Menü ist sehr zu empfehlen. Familiärer Service.

Das Restaurant bietet genussvolles Essen, eine schöne Auswahl an Weinen und einen freundlichen und umsichtigen Service. Die Speisen war sehr gut abgeschmeckt -allerdings nur recht kleine Portionen. Insgesamt stimmt die Preis-Leistung nicht mehr ganz.|

Ein italienisches Restaurant der Oberklasse. Noch nie besseres Vitello Tonnato gegessen. Das Abendmenü sehr gut. Der Wein Extraklasse. aufmerksamer Service und Patrone. Da zahlt man gerne ein paar Euro mehr. Komme bestimmt öfter

Die Preise sind fair aber gehoben und das Essen eine italienische kulinarische Hochleistung und dieses Gesamtpacket muss bezahlt werden. Das Bibulus ist gelegentlich für mich ein gutes Mittags-Restaurant, am Abend ist es meist sehr voll. Die Preise sind gehoben, die Qualität des Essens auch. Die Portionen des 2-Gang-Mittagsmenüs sind sehr knapp bemessen. Geeignet ist das Restaurant mittags auch für ruhige Gespräche, das ist angenehm.

Great kitchen quality, tried the degustation menu and was blown away by every bite and the accompanying wines were also excellently chosen !! Great service also by the waiters. Really recommended!

Regular Italian restaurant at the heart of Schwabing (most expen$ive part of Munich) - Nothing special, nothing better, nothing worse, just regular, apart from the price which is rather high, you will find better deals not that far away (I am NOT connected to any restaurant of any sort in Munich nor in Germany)
