The atmosphere is cozy and stylish. I went to Jacob on a Monday for “Scampi and Schampi” and was not disappointed. The scampi were very tasty and were always refilled as long as we were hungry. The service staff is very friendly and attentive. For dessert we had spaghetti ice cream that was freshly prepared at the table and we were able to put together the ingredients ourselves. I can highly recommend this show by the waiters at the table!

We were a group of 6 and were seated at a very nice table. The ambience was very nice. Unfortunately, neither the service nor the food was pleasant. We shared several starters, almost all of which were not well received by us. Greasy and tasteless. The exception was the pinsa with truffle, which was really good. The service was uninterested, sometimes unfriendly and anything but attentive. I would not recommend this restaurant.

We had dinner at Jacob today and it was again extremely good. Both the service and the quality of the food are impressive! The new menu, using only local ingredients, is truly an experience. We recommend the Arabiata and the short ribs!

We enjoyed the food and drinks, they tasted good. The location of the restaurant is central and very nice, which made the stay pleasant. Unfortunately, the price-performance ratio is not quite right. For us it was more like a regular takeaway meal, not the quality you would expect from a fine dining restaurant. Unfortunately, on the evening we were there, the floor was dirty everywhere (stains from drinks), which shouldn't happen in a restaurant of this category. Overall it could have been five stars, but the overall impression was more like dinner followed by partying and dancing.

Wir sind zufällig an diesem Lokal vorbeigekommen. Haben's nicht bereut. Wir gingen rein, die Stimmung ist top. Viele schöne Leute, man merkt das hier ein richtig elegantes Ambiente sich mit einer nonchalanten Coolness und Jugendlichkeit und Energie verbindet. Diese Synthese ist einzigartig. Grosser Dancefloor, an den Seiten viele Tische, an denen die Leute auch ihr Abendbrot zu sich nehmen. Negronis und Aperol Spritz lecker, die Barkeeper beherrschen ihr Handwerk. Das Lokal ist wirklich sehr gross. Man verirrt sich fast. Live-DJ teils zu laut. Aber sonsten top Erfahrung. Wir kommen wieder! V.a. das Ambiente war einladend und warm.

Very attractive architecture on the outside, very classic, warm atmosphere on the inside. The food was delicious, aromatic and the service was so attentive and friendly. We spent a wonderful girls' evening at Jacob and found it extremely convenient that after dinner we could go straight to the bar and enjoy good cocktails and dance. At over 50, we were a bit above the average age, but we still felt completely comfortable. :-)

It's been my 3rd time at Jacob, and I have to say, i will always come back. The food is delicious, especially those mezze Starters to share. The cocktails are very cool, and the steak was just perfect and tender. Super attentive service on top of that. Usually, Jacob turns into a club after dinner, but because it's January and it was quite empty, they closed pretty early. Overall, this is an amazing place for a romantic and fancier dinner.

We went for their set menu, which came with six delicious starters and four mains—everything was super tasty, great quality, and the portions were just right for sharing. The cocktails were top-notch, and the vibe was spot on, with super friendly and attentive staff making sure we had everything we needed. The DJ kept the energy up with house music, creating the perfect atmosphere for a great night. After dinner, we stayed at the bar for more drinks and ended up dancing the night away. Definitely a place to check out if you’re looking for a fun night with great food, drinks, and music!

Probably one of the most underwhelming food experiences I have had for this price. I found the meat to be dry and overcooked and some of it tasted to me like it had been prepared hours before service and simply warmed up before plating. Most inexpensive greek family restaurants do a better job than this sort of overpriced place aimed at your typical Instagram-clientele. The atmosphere is okay, but like many restaurants in Munich, you feel like you are paying just for showing off to your friends. There is no special flair or atmosphere that you wouldn't get elsewhere. The staff was quite attentive and friendly though.

The bouncer (bald head + beard) didn't want to let us 9 girls in because one of us didn't have ID with us (25-30 years old). Of course, in principle you can't do anything, but a few of us got in without ID. Just a power play, so embarrassing.

I especially remember the waiter Richard. Great service and very accommodating and friendly. The food was also very good and of high quality.

Very nice location, tastefully decorated. Great service, very attentive without being intrusive. Unfortunately the food is pretty far from a fine dining experience. The steak meat was not top quality and the jus served with it was a bit of meat juice but certainly not a port wine reduction, with carelessly sliced, cold vegetables as a side dish. For the demands and the prices, the kitchen would have to step up at least one gear. This can be done much better with just a few simple steps!

This was our second meeting and we were able to celebrate at our favorite table at Jacobs and – just like in the summer – it was an absolute highlight. Ambience, service, staff, food... We are all always happy! ❤️

Really always a great atmosphere. Especially after 10 p.m. when the DJ starts playing. Always great music! The food tastes excellent and is only topped by the friendliness of the staff. All in all a great store - would be happy to come again!

My boyfriend and I wanted to spend New Year's Eve in the bar here. We were told that the bar didn't open until 11, even though this wasn't stated anywhere on the website. When we came back, the bouncers were extremely unfriendly and didn't let us finish. Finally we came in because we were on the overpriced guest list and had one drink and ate something small. The next day we had extreme stomach cramps and had to go to the doctor to have our stomachs pumped. This is also a sniffle. Only go if you're real snots. Never again. Never again! Never again 😤NEVER AGAIN!! \: never again

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant and it was simply amazing! The atmosphere is inviting and cozy, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was first class. The staff was friendly, attentive and always ready to respond to our requests. You immediately felt welcome. The decor of the restaurant is very tasteful and creates a pleasant atmosphere that invites you to linger. No expense or effort was spared here. Overall, I can only recommend this restaurant. It is the ideal place for a special occasion or just a nice evening. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Wir hatten an einem Freitagabend reserviert. Leider hat sich auch im „Jacob“ die Unsitte der max 2-stündigen Buchungsslots eingebürgert. Wir hatten als Vorspeise den mediterranen Salat und das Chicken Jerusalem, als Hauptgericht Oktopus vom Grill und das Jacobs Gyros sowie Trüffelpommes als Beilage. Die Vorspeisen waren gut und ohne jegliche Beanstandungen. Der Oktopus war vom Grill, vermutlich Tiefkühlkost, leider etwas trocken und geschmacklich kein Highlight. Der Gyrosteller war von der Menge her sehr gut bemessen und der Teller war extrem heiß, sodass ich mich wirklich fast verbrannt hätte. Das Fleisch war stellenweise extrem trocken, somit sind die Hauptgänge leider in unserer Bewertung durchgefallen. 2 Stunden vergehen doch schneller als gedacht sodass wir noch bei vollen Gläsern unserer Flasche Lugana darauf aufmerksam gemacht wurden das unser zeitliches Slot in Kürze abläuft, sehr schade wenn man gerne noch etwas mehr Zeit bei weiteren Getränken im Restaurant verbracht hätte. Der Service ist hervorzuheben, sehr aufmerksam und jederzeit in der Nähe und auch um zu fragen ob alles in Ordnung ist. Unsere Bewertung nur mit 3 Punkten aufgrund der Hauptspeise und des erzwungenen Abbruchs unseres Beisammenseins, das wir dann in einer anderen Location fortgesetzt haben.

Far too loud, far too crowded, uncomfortable chairs, completely overwhelmed service. The wannabe chic crowd gathers to enjoy overpriced food with champagne without having any idea what really good gastronomy means. The food was average at best. The burrata starter was good, the truffle pasta disappointed me because of the overcooked pasta. I skipped dessert because the wait for the main course was already an hour and the place was unbearably crowded and the music was too loud that I couldn't stand it anymore. When the main course was placed on the table, the starter plates were only partially cleared. It was very chaotic, but the service staff was friendly. The furniture is so poor quality and rickety that you might assume that you don't want to stay there for long. Conclusion: never again!

Christmas party with 19 employees and colleagues. Even the aperitif from the teapot was a hit. We continued with the Sharing Menu II, perfect for this occasion. There really is something for everyone, the best falafel balls in a long time, an Israeli sous-vide chicken and finally a tart with meringue and home-made pistachio ice cream particularly stood out. Thanks to the Jacob team for the wonderful support! Update 11/29/24 Date evening with my wife, excellent hospitality again! Always happy again!

Ein tolles Restaurantkonzept ! Wir bekamen einen rundum guten Service in einem wirklich tollen Ambiente. Durchaus „vibrant“ , d.h. mit Geräuschkulisse, aber es bleibt immer erträglich. Die Speisen sind überwiegend sehr gut, ausgerechnet das „Signature Gyros“ war etwas zu trocken, aber der Rest war einwandfrei,. Ggfs etwas größere Portionen bei den Vorspreisen, die teilweise happig bepreist sind. Insgesamt ist das Jacob aber definitv seinen Preis und einen Besuch wert !

Yesterday we had a great evening at Jacob! The cocktails were absolutely delicious, the music selection was perfect and the atmosphere was simply great. The bar staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable. We laughed a lot and felt completely comfortable. A great place for unforgettable evenings – we will definitely be back!

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was a disappointment. The prices for the food are completely exorbitant and the portion sizes are so small that you'll still be hungry after eating one. The staff is clearly trying, but even basic tasks like finding the jackets that are dropped off take forever. Visiting the toilet was particularly unpleasant - the toilet attendant begged for every euro, which is really shameful in a restaurant of this category. The price-performance ratio here is absolutely not good and I certainly won't be coming back.

One of the worst parties I've ever experienced in Munich... Average age is 21. Girls looking for famous modeling agents and men looking for a riot. Service at the bar takes forever, is extremely unfriendly and drinks are very expensive by Munich standards (a bottle of the cheapest wine costs a whopping 45 euros, a bottle of 0.7 liter still water costs 10 euros). The highlight was when a man ran into me while dancing and then claimed I had hit him. He would supposedly work there and have me kicked out (despite the fact that I apologized several times to avoid trouble) - PS: I'm a 35 year old woman. Dancing is simply not possible. The DJ stands in the middle between the restaurant area and the bar. Every 2 minutes, staff or guests come running through the middle of the dance floor. So if you want to dance, this is the wrong place for you. So once and never again...!

A restaurant of the “Gigi & Co” class. That means a nice ambience, visually appealing, chic, Instagram-optimized. However, the food was very poor, tasted boring, and in no way worth the price. Drinks are okay. The service is average, sometimes seems (understandably) stressed, could be more attentive and polite in some places, definitely likes to flirt with the girls at the table, sometimes unpleasantly. Overall: A restaurant where the focus is on the experience, rather than the food and enjoyment. I therefore recommend it for a more active evening with friends, with drinks, maybe a small snack and then partying (the indoor area becomes a really good party area later in the evening). But not for a real dinner.

Das Personal war sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Das Essen sehr lecker, bei einem Essen gab eine kleine Kritik, worauf auch sofort reagiert wurde und ein tolles Dessert spendiert wurde. Welches auch Mega war. Können trotzdem eine Empfehlung abgeben.

Es war ein tolles Ambiente war klasse. Der Service ausgezeichnet. Wir hatten eine klasse Vorspeise die Sharing das war eine Gaumenfreude das Filet war zäh. Daraufhin kam ein neues das war leider auch zäh. Um den Abend nicht zu verderben habe ich nicht gesagt das meins auch nicht gut war. Ich habe mich so auf ein Rinderfilet was bei toller Qualität ja immer gut ist gefreut. Aber das war nix. Leider. Sonst war alles toll ! Der Liebe Service hat uns ein Dessert gebracht als Entschuldigung das war auch super. Wir kommen wieder und essen einfach kein Filet mehr :)

Wir waren hier an einem unheimlich heißen Abend und haben diesen in dieser Oase draußen trotz des Umgebungslärms sehr genossen. Das Essen war sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich und auf Zack. Mein extra erst für die Hauptspeise geordertes Glas Wein kam genau pünktlich. Heute leider keine Selbstverständlichkeit mehr. Einziges Manko ist vielleicht, dass man als Aperitif keinen Prosecco oder Cremant im Glas zu einem normal bezahlbaren Preis bekommt. Aber wir kommen auf alle Fälle wieder.

Wir haben kürzlich dieses schöne Restaurant besucht und waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden. Das Essen war hervorragend, mit einer breiten Auswahl an köstlichen Gerichten, die alle frisch zubereitet und ansprechend präsentiert wurden. Die Cocktails hingegen waren leider ein wenig enttäuschend. Für den Preis hätten wir etwas mehr Raffinesse und Liebe zum Detail erwartet. Die Kreationen wirkten etwas lieblos und rechtfertigten den hohen Preis nicht ganz. Die Musikuntermalung durch den DJ war jedoch ein echtes Highlight. Die angenehme Auswahl an Musik sorgte für eine entspannte und gleichzeitig lebhafte Atmosphäre, die den Abend sehr bereichert hat. Trotz der kleineren Enttäuschung bei den Cocktails würden wir diesem Restaurant auf jeden Fall eine zweite Chance geben und es noch einmal testen. Die Qualität des Essens und das Ambiente haben uns überzeugt, dass es insgesamt eine sehr gute Wahl ist.

It's a very nice place with a decadent atmosphere. Concept and service similar to BLB (they also belong together) and the waiters like to flirt just as much as they do there. We ordered a Jacob Summer Menu. The price is €25, plus drinks such as Aperol Spritz for €12.5. The menu was pretty tasty, especially the starters. Not a clear recommendation, as the quality of the dishes and drinks weren't really convincing, but you can do it, just because of the location and the ambience.

I've been to Jacob twice now, for a company dinner and once privately with friends. The service was always very courteous and the cocktails also tasted very good. Lovely again!
