Very cute, delicious and vegan friendly place! Went for the Lauch- & Kräuter-Knödel. The vegan option is served with olive oil instead of butter and Parmesan. The Speck- & Steinpilz-Knödel und Kräuter Topfen Nocke were also good.

We had super delicious dumplings and an Aperol Spritz on a Friday evening. We didn't have a reservation and got a seat outside without any problem. Prices normal for Munich standards. We'll definitely be back :)

Very warm welcome, by 2 very smiling employees, we were seated inside the terrace was reserved, the knödel are really good, we only took 2 to save a place for an ice cream outside but 3 is Perfect! They are served with parmesan and butter, you can add an additional salad. The limonata offered is also great!

Around Munich for the Adele concert. My local Italian friend recommended this restaurant to me. I was amazed at how good everything really is. As if I had eaten in Bolzano. And I actually ate there.

Great restaurant with very tasty dumplings. As a group we had several different dumplings but all of them were delicious and highly recommended. The service was friendly and courteous and the atmosphere was very cozy. I can highly recommend it and would be happy to come back.

The dumplings were nicely presented, but tasted just ok. There were four of us, we shared a starter and each had 3 main course dumplings and a dessert dumpling. Plus a total of 4 non-alcoholic and 2 alcoholic drinks. The bill was almost €200. Which actually surprised us a lot. It wasn't worth it to us either. I actually find the drink prices outrageous. All in all, a nice idea and a nice place. But I would only recommend it to dumpling lovers.

What a secret gem this place, a speciality restaurant that takes the simple Knodel to its fullist potential. You must try this if you are in Munich as I promise you crave it for the rest of the year. It is added to my favorites list

The food just wasn't as great as you would expect based on other people's stories and reports. However, it is also a matter of taste. Had a pan dumpling with cheese that was really tasty. Then another pizza dumpling and a chilli dumpling. The pizza had a lackluster taste. The chilli is suitable for the delicate-minded. Atmosphere and service was A1

I had never tried knodel before and was delighted by my first experience. I had a spinach one and a pizza one which for one person was enough food as they can be quite filling. The service was very attentive and friendly.

Super nice, warm staff, food is incredibly tasty. We had the South Tyrolean Schlutzer 🤤. Staff is on the ball and quick. The visit is worth it!

Nice place. Four of us ordered the “dumpling party”. We were able to test 10 different dumpling creations, which were served with melted butter and Parmesan. We liked the porcini mushrooms, asparagus and cheese dumplings best. Pizza dumplings weren't really my thing. Unfortunately the service here is overwhelmed. There was only one waiter who could take orders in the crowded restaurant. We had to wait 45 minutes for the first drink and 1h45 for the dumplings.

Very good dumplings, a bit overpriced for the portions, as were the wines.

We had starters followed by 4 knodels. Dumplings are tasty and quite dense so 4 was plenty for both of us. Recommend having the dumplings with wine.

Super tasty dumplings. The price is ok - I think the price of the coleslaw is a bit too much… The herb sauce was too oily for me personally. The service was very friendly. I find the placement of the tables awkward. You sit very close to each other. There was someone sitting next to us super close with their back to us. Every time she waved her hair around I almost had her in the glass... not pleasant.

It tasted good, but the dumplings were a little smaller than expected. Apple spritzer €6.....hm, difficult. It was an experience if you didn't know anything like that, but it was very expensive.

On a trip to Munich we tried this place to taste the knodel, i.e. meatballs made of bread and seasoned in various ways, typical of the area. We returned a trio of bacon, cheese and porcini mushrooms which, together with two beers, we paid €28. A pleasant and peaceful lunch, the trio is good for two people if you want to eat well without exaggerating with the quantities.

Excellent! There is no other way I can describe our spontaneous stop after a visit to the theater. The dumplings (bacon dumplings, cheese dumplings, Greek dumplings) are super delicious, the service was lovably great, and we were even able to sit outside. Tip: The strawberry dumpling as dessert is awesome! Thank you!

Very good food and friendly staff

Simply great. For the second time in Munich, for the second time very positively surprised. The dumplings are uniquely good. A must, especially for people who are vegetarian. Not cheap but worth every cent.

Nettes Lokal, nette Bedienung. Knödel sehr gut, aber für den Preis sehr teuer! Gemischter Salat 7€ und dann findet man darauf 3 halbe Tomaten und drei Gurkenscheiben.. abgemacht mit fertigem Balsamicodressing! Gut gegessen, aber Preis Leistung zu hoch.

Really delicious cuisine, definitely recommended. I had the snack board myself and my companion had some of the dumplings. The other dishes that came out of the kitchen also looked very tasty. The service was super nice. The atmosphere gives you the feeling of being seated in a large living room.

The Knödeln are delicious, they really make a good job on turning something simple into a very stylish and flavorful dish. I ordered the Knödel Trio, 4 might have been too much :) The environment is nice, be sure to reserve!

The dumplings are really delicious! Great selection with interesting combinations. It's great that you can combine many different dumplings. With a good wine it becomes a special evening. Finally: definitely try a dumpling with nut nougat filling. The service is unobtrusive and very good.

Incredibly delicious dumplings! The nice waitress was from South Tyrol, everything was nice and authentic. Totally delicious aperitif, Schlutzer as a starter were great! Porcini mushroom dumplings were served with butter and parmesan, with a side salad - they were super tasty! We will be back!

Nice, friendly restaurant near Gärtnerplatz. Staff is extremely attentive and polite. Food was delicious. The two of us shared six different dumplings, which made perfect sense. Reservations make sense as there are two blocks per evening.

Tasted good. It's impossible to get full with 3 dumplings. I found it almost outrageously expensive.

Was für Gaumenfreuden! Tolle Auswahl, alles lecker und die süßen sind auch der Hammer. Absolut zu empfehlen. Der Service war auch auch sehr herzlich und professionell.

Very tasty 😋 food, service excellent. Reservation recommended, the restaurant was full. We will be back definitely. I want to try out a lot of dumplings that aren't available anywhere else. The dessert was also a poem.

The food was very good. Lots of different dumplings and all were very tasty (we tried 10 different ones). The sobs as a starter were also great. We were there on a Wednesday evening and it was completely full. Therefore you should definitely make a reservation.

The store is very warm, and the wooden decoration makes people return to the mountain house in the snow field in a second. But the store is not big and there are not many seats. If you don’t make a reservation, you may not get a seat. The food is quite novel to me, each taste and texture are different, and the overall taste is soft and glutinous. But the price of that meatball, which doesn’t look big at 5-7 euros per unit, is really too expensive, and the price has even increased. A 5-euro Arancini is bigger than that meatball The service is very good, you can pay by credit card

Best dumplings I ever had :) Perfect for vegetarians, as almost all dumplings are veggi. They come with drawn butter and Parmesan. As for quantity, I can recommend the KnödelTRIS (my favourites are spinach, Greek and beetroot)

The food is very tasty and the service is good, but I find the drink prices at €6 for 0.4l juice spritzer to be much too expensive.

Small and charming place, reservations are recommended, tasty cuisine with a nice variety of knodel, good offer of wines too. The waiter, attentive to service and precise, also speaks Italian. Advised.

As South Tyrol fans, we definitely have to stop by here when we visit Munich. The restaurant is run relatively authentically by real South Tyroleans. Unfortunately, apart from the South Tyrolean snack board and the Schlutzkrapfen, the selection of dishes on offer is limited exclusively to dumplings. But dumpling lovers will definitely get their money's worth, because in addition to the original South Tyrolean variants (bacon, spinach, beetroot dumplings), there are also unusual, very good-tasting creations, which in my opinion have nothing to do with South Tyrolean cuisine. The dumplings are all flawless, which also applies to the sweet creations, but at 6 euros per piece they are too expensive in my opinion. An average portion, i.e. three pieces plus the obligatory side salad, costs 24 euros. If you treat yourself to half a liter of wine, you are priced in a region where you can already get fine cuisine elsewhere. And this is about dumplings, the former daily meal of farmers and common people.

Ein Stück Südtirol in München. Feine Küche, nette Atmosphäre, durch Akustikpaneele angenehmes Gesprächsklima. Für alle Geschmäcker etwas dabei (auch Vegetarisch/Vegan). Gerne wieder!

Very decent local restaurant that serves typical south-german / austrian Knödel in various flavours. The food was definitely good, very tasty and of good quality. Service was friendly and quick. Do not underestimate how much those little Knödels fill you up. 2 are enough for a person with average hunger. If you wanna go crazy, go for 3 Knödel and a salad lol.

Super leckere Knödel, gehobene Preise aber definitiv gerechtfertigt durch den Geschmack :) Die Inneneinrichtung ist auch sehr gemütlich gewählt, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

Ristorante che fa solo canederli, sia salati che dolci. Possibilità di scegliere quanti canederli prendere, da 1 a 5 nello stesso piatto di gusti diversi tra quelli proposti. C’è anche la possibilità di scegliere il canederli party in cui puoi prendere più di 5 pezzi in unico piatto (consigliato quando si è in compagnia di più persone da dividere). Diversi tipi di canederli, anche particolari: gorgonzola e radicchio, zucca, pizza, quark, greco con feta e olive, ed i più classici. Come dolci ci sono nocciola, mandorlato, arancia e cioccolato… sapore particolare ma molto buono Quelli salati sono buonissimi, non si sa davvero quale scegliere. Cameriera gentilissima e molto disponibile, servizio veloce. Bagni piccoli ma puliti Il ristorante è piccolo quindi meglio prenotare almeno una settimana prima per la cena, non ci sono molti coperti. Per 6 canederli + 1 dolce + 2 birre medie + 2 caffè abbiamo speso 25€ a testa. Ovviamente si sa che si spende un po’ di più rispetto ad altri ristoranti, ma sicuramente ne vale la pena per la qualità del cibo. Consigliatissimo

Geschmacklich okay, Preis finde ich zu hoch und die Wartezeit bis wir das Essen bekommen dauert so ewig (für Nachtisch zb hat über 30 Minuten gedauert bis das Essen kommt)

Leckeres Essen, nette Personal aber die Sauberkeit der Toilette geht garnicht. Türen und Waschbecken gehören mal wieder gründlich gereinigt. Deshalb nur 2 statt 4 Punkte

Die Knödel bei Finks Südtiroler Knödelstube sind sehr lecker. Es gibt die Möglichkeit draußen oder im Innenraum zu sitzen. Ich hatte die Klassiker Spinat- und Stecknadel und zum Nachtisch Marillenknödel. Mein Kollege war vom Nougatknödel sehr angetan. Reservierung ist zu empfehlen.

The greatest Knödel in the world.

Klasse Restaurant mit wirklich leckeren Knödeln! Auch für Veganer ist was dabei. Zudem ist der Beilagensalat spitze! Auch der Hugo ist zu empfehlen. Die Weißweine haben uns jedoch weniger überzeugen können.

Knödel-Sepp subsumiert sich einen Knödel nach dem anderen rein und genießt jeden einzelnen von ihnen.

Lecker wars, bisschen lange hat es nur gedauert (es steht explizit, süße Knödel dauern 25 Minuten, da geht man davon aus, dass die anderen schneller gehen, hatten 2 Runden bestellt und es hatte immer so 30-40 Minuten tatsächlich für deftige Knödel gedauert). Die Bedienung war aber so sympathisch und authentisch, mit ihrem tollen Dialekt und die Qualität/Geschmack waren sehr sehr gut.

Super Knödel, auch die nicht traditionellen!

Hier gibt es ausschließlich Knödel , diese aber in Perfektion! In rund 15 verschiedenen Varianten von klassisch Käse und Spinat über Süß-Sauer bis hin zu süßen Marillenknödeln bekommt man alles was das Herz begehrt. Bedienung war bei uns auch äußerst nett, war aber auch nicht viel los mittags.

Super leckere Knödl in verschiedensten Variationen. Man kann verschiedene Arten von Knödl in einem Gericht zusammenstellen und somit mehrere probieren. Service war sehr nett, zuvorkommend und authentisch. Preis- Leistung absolut in Ordnung. Ambiente draußen ok aber natürlich etwas laut an der Straße. Drinnen sah es sehr nett aus, kann aber bisher nur für draußen sprechen.

Supercooles Restaurant rund um Knödel aller Art in der unmittelbaren Umgebung zum Gärtnerplatztheater. Toller Service, leckere Knödel in den unterschiedlichsten Varianten. Sehr zu empfehlen, kommen gerne wieder:-)
