Hello, we were there in March 2024, on a Saturday evening. We liked the decor and the food was good too. But the service was actually unacceptable. The waiter was super unfriendly and we had to stand in his way so that he could take the order, even though we had already waited 45 minutes. He also made faces even though we just wanted to order something. Unfortunately we would also be ignored at the bar. It could be that they had a lot of work, but they were just rude. I don't think that works.

Essen qualitativ gut, Service Katastrophe, wenn man überhaupt von Service sprechen kann, da nicht vorhanden. Waren mit Freunden zum frühstücken da, ewig gewartet zum Bestellen. Gerne hätten wir während unseres Besuchs nochmal was zum Trinken bestellt, leider kam nicht ein einziges Mal die Bedienung vorbei. Selbstverständlich auch nicht zum Zahlen, so dass wir proaktiv selbst beim Gehen an der Kasse zahlen durften.

The ambience is nice. Eggs/omelette looked delicious, but were served too cold.

We visited Munich for 4-days and stayed in a nearby hotel. Our first lunch was right at Rosi's. We enjoyed the food, the great service and friendly staff so much that we came back two more times. One of us especially loved the club sandwich and ate it 3 times and was always very happy. Great consistency and quality of the food. The only downside was the amount of wasps (hence 4 stars for the atmosphere instead of 5). Of course this is not the restaurant's fault and the staff was kind enough to advise us to better sit inside than outside due to wasps being quite annoying. So overall we loved the place and would go back anytime! Great food, great staff (it is rare to find well trained and professional staff nowadays) and prices were moderate. Thanks for having us.

A wonderful cozy stop for a mid morning breakfast, or early lunch depending on the time you show up! Have a hot cup of kaffee, with a drop of cream is how I like it, or maybe a beer, it’s all up to you! The service here is excellent, and please don’t stress the waitresses out by expecting them to speak perfect English, they try and I tried some German as well! The food was delivered quickly and steaming hot, with a delicious basket of assorted breads for the table. Don’t be unnerved by the color of your egg yolks, that is the proof of their freshness, and if you order (Weisswurst) white sausage, it just might be in what looks like a soup terrine of hot water because it is boiled! If you are a fan of breakfast skillets, try the Deftig, a mix of fried potatoes with onions, bacon, cheese and eggs. It comes with more fabulous bread and a small pot of butter and berry jam, superb! Prices are very reasonable, a full breakfast will cost between 💶 10-15 depending on your order and drink. The attitudes around tipping vary depending on where you are, while tipping isn’t always expected in certain spaces, it is always greatly appreciated! Remember, if you are visiting during Oktoberfest, millions of tourists are in town as well, so make sure you are treating the service staff everywhere with a bit of compassion for the crowds, and always with respect! So if you ever find yourself in Munich City Centre, drop in and enjoy breakfast, lunch, or even dinner at Rosi Kaffeehaus! Enjoy Unnerved Traveler

Delicious breakfast and very good schnitzels!

Restaurant with very long hours, great for tourists who are used to eating and dining at different times than normal in Germany. The food is very good. They also have tables on the terrace.

I enjoy being here often and often. The lunch menus are new every week, very tasty and super inexpensive. The staff is always friendly and I like the atmosphere too!

Beautiful brunch place to be in. Its big and cozy space truly makes it a a rare find! Prices are pretty typical for Munich, however the quality and food portions certainly match it. As it is a popular spot you might find yourself in a queue for some time, but very often not for too long as the place is very spacious and most people will come for a short coffee during the day. Definitely making a come back here😉

We stopped in to grabs drinks before leaving home, the vibe is super cool and chill. Would love to see what other events they hold/host as the screen projector is a little out of place from food and drinks is that they offer. Great social event place and or a spot to sit to get some work done if you don’t mind the noise of chit chat.

We had breakfast at Rosi's on two days. It was very, very tasty, everything was very fresh and appetizing. Attention: the omelettes are XXL and the Greek yogurt or the crunchy muesli are highly addictive. The service is very friendly and quick - even when things get really hectic. A breakfast like this is the best way to start the day. (… and thanks for the champions 😉). 🙏👍😎

Fab bar for a few drinks, very near cinemas, a concert hall, and the river. Bit pricey for sure, but that's München.

We came late and there was no place to sit outside. In any case, they made an effort and found us a place. The service was charming and cordial. We ordered burrata salad/steak/ravioli/salad with schnitzel strips - all the dishes were good, big and tasty.

The service was very friendly and accommodating. We were served quickly and our food came quickly. The beef sirloin pasta we ordered was delicious and the beef strips were tender and juicy. The noodles also absorbed the sauce very well and overall it was a very nice evening at Rosi.

Sadly overpriced - EUR 5,90 for a small bread basket is excessive.

Due to the positive reviews, eight of us (previously made an online reservation) went to breakfast as part of the company outing. What should we say? We were all thrilled. Great service, delicious, generous food, nice ambience (open windows in the hot temperatures - a dream). When we were finished with our outdoor program and it started to rain, we spontaneously went back there and asked if there was a place available for us: Yes - same experience: delicious food, etc. 5 stars plus :-)

I entered this place in the morning around 10am Fairly full place, I queued to sit Long wait but there it is Once seated, I waited 20 minutes before the waiter deigned to take my order As soon as he arrived I politely asked to change tables because he was too short to eat The guy made a super annoyed face I managed to change tables.. Very bad service. As a single guest you are discriminated against and have to give up your seat for those arriving later or sit at the "cat table" on the edge of the sidewalk, where there is hardly any space for a long meal. If you don't agree to this, service will be refused! The menu sounds good, but you shouldn't want to eat there alone... not even with a starter and dessert. Very, very sad that something like this is still possible in Germany today.

The breakfast selection is very limited, especially when it comes to vegetarian + vegan dishes. Extremely high prices, but small portions. The fruit salad was watered down, the melon was melty and tasted sour, for the price of €8 for a small bowl. In the back area of ​​the restaurant it was so loud from the open kitchen that conversations were hardly possible. When we were greeted, we were immediately informed that our table was only reserved for 90 minutes (conveyor belt). My companion ordered butter with her pretzel, the butter was brought on the plate of MY croissant, so we assumed the butter belonged to my croissant and the butter that was also ordered was forgotten. The waitress came to our table after 75 minutes and wanted to collect in a very assertive tone - the next customers for the table would come in 10 minutes. The forgotten butter was on the bill and the waitress noted this in a rude and cheeky manner, saying it was clear that it was the butter that was ordered. I won't visit the restaurant again.

Very bad. We went to this place last Tuesday, with a group of students who are attending classes at LMU university. The owner had appalling behavior to say the least, pushing us out the door, refusing to interact in English and saying that "the pizzeria is further along". The impression is that it is a place that evokes racism. I really hope that thanks to this behavior they can close.

Unfortunately, the port wine sauce I ordered was completely white and tasted absolutely nothing like port wine. The currywurst was very good. Unfortunately, the fries were completely soaked. A little tip from me if the owner is reading this. The aluminum box without holes is the worst choice of packaging for fries. Uncoated, solid cardboard boxes with air holes work best. Other restaurants do this much better.

The chia bread with fried egg was very tasteless and my cappuccino was already lukewarm. The service was very inattentive, we asked for the bill three times and they still ignored us for a long time. The hygiene in the women's toilet could be better.

The food was okay, but compared to other restaurants the quality is unfortunately not that good for the prices. But what we noticed as a negative thing was the cleanliness of the restaurant itself. There were crumbs everywhere in the corners and sometimes even dead insects. The restaurant is located on a busy street with a current construction site. The immediate proximity to the German Museum is positive.

Excellent breakfast with three children. There are many choices of breakfast options but if you are not used to eating a lot in the morning you can have each item individually. Excellent muesli. Fast and efficient service. Room ok but a little in its original state. The dishes were a little chipped.

Spring cleaning is needed here, the toilets are not clean and there are dead flies on the window sills. Ants are running around. The dust collects on the lamps, this is certainly due to the proximity to the street. A lot of dust comes in here due to the construction site and all the traffic in front of the door. There are slightly better competitors in the same price segment within walking distance of 10 minutes. The service is good and friendly. The food is ok and fresh. But the products used could be a little better.

Restaurant in a very busy place, reasonable food, we ordered bread with avocado and salad lacked seasoning, while the egg with pancakes was delicious.

It is a hype and busy Café in a great location next to the Deutsche Museum. Mixed clientele, the fiod and coffee used to be good in a city where there is no cafe culture, anything can be caled coffee in Germany. Te quality of the food is no longer what used to be and the prices are ridiculously high for the quality served. The choice of breakfast is unattractive; I wish there was a good brunch place in Munich like in a normal world city.

They were kind enough to find a place for us even though we had no reservation. We had a delicious breakfast here. The service was fast and kind. The food was good, portions are pretty big but you can ask for smaller ones. We’ll be back!

We live nearby and that's why we went There several times for breakfast. The location and the ambience are great, as is the coffee. Some breakfast options are good, like the Mediterranean breakfast. But unfortunately most of them tasted more like they were in a canteen and seemed neither fresh nor of high quality. When I go for breakfast I expect better quality. The omelette came after 3 minutes, looked and tasted warmed up. Baked goods also appear to be baked and even then not fresh. The service sometimes seemed rather unfriendly to us. If the kitchen and service were better, we would like to come back.

Nice cafe whether for late brunch or lunch. We particularly liked the Mediterranean breakfast but also the vegan scrambled eggs or the Obatzter were very tasty. The service was also very courteous. Would love to come back.

We used to often have brunch at Rosi. Unfortunately we won't be coming back because the quality of the food has deteriorated significantly. The coffee tasted like nothing and the egg dishes were inedible. There are definitely better restaurants in Munich that can keep the quality of the food at a high level

I was very negatively surprised when I had to pay €6.20 for a Fredo espresso to take away. €1 was for the cup. The Fredo is a (double espresso with small ice cubes, preparation 30 seconds. The double espresso costs 3.50. You shouldn't exaggerate the prices for something like this. If it's an iced coffee that has a scoop of ice cream and cream, I can totally understand it, but a Fredo...; The coffee is comparable to a rose wine with you. Positive: The food is very good, price wise too. The waiters/waitresses are very friendly and helpful. P.S don't be mad next time I order a double espresso and a large glass with ice cubes. LG

Skandal! Im Hotel soll das Frühstück heftige 28€ pro Nase kosten. Das sehen wir nicht ein. Eine Alternative muss her - und wie gut, dass es gleich um die Ecke die Rosi gibt! Frühstück satt, lecker und abwechslungsreich zu (für München) korrekten Preisen in angenehmem Ambiente. Am Wochenende besser reservieren.

18 euros for 2 cappucinos (one small) and 2 cheesecakes??? the 2 cappucinos were 8 euros, so 1 cheesecake was 5 euros? Either the waiter overcharged or it was simply too expensive, and the cake tasted like it was made the day before yesterday, the base was far too hard and too thick.

I didn't know this cafe. I was invited here for coffee. Many types of coffee that I only knew from Greece. I didn't try any food. It looked at the. Tables next to us seem to be very good, at least in terms of appearance.

I've been here a few times - for breakfast, coffee & cake, dinner or just to have a drink. Great menu, the prices of the dishes are very affordable. The portions are very large and the food tastes excellent every time (especially the homemade ravioli) - everything is always beautifully prepared. The waitresses are always very friendly, super relaxed and very fast. Very nice and tastefully decorated inside. I always enjoy coming back :-)

Were there for the first time today, nice atmosphere and fast service. The halloumi burger was amazing, tasted really good. The salad was ok, the turkey on top was cooked juicy. 1 star deducted because it was unfortunately impossible to ignore that a service person was reprimanded (in our opinion this shouldn't happen in front of guests) and the prices are already decent. For 6.50 euros I would have expected a bottle of branded water and not probably self-bottled tap water. But would come again.

We asked for a nice solution because our money was swallowed by an ATM, the employee left us standing and was extremely rude, the food is third class and the cars that drive by every 2 seconds are super annoying

There were lots of people and some tables were reserved so I wanted to ask the waiter where we can sit and he totally ignored me. Then I asked the second waiter if there are free tables. He turned around and said ‘No’. So I literally had to look at his back while he was giving me an answer. I am shocked tbh. Can’t believe how rude and impolite the service was in this place. Will never come back here.

A well-equipped restaurant with great service. The reservation was very easy, everyone is friendly and we felt very comfortable. The cocktails were great too and the central location makes it easy to reach, definitely worth a visit - we'll be back!

Very good breakfast in a nice atmosphere

I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately was very disappointed with my experience. I ordered a simple pasta dish for which I paid €17 (with beer and tip €25) and was still hungry afterwards. The quality and quantity of food has decreased significantly. Although the restaurant's atmosphere is pleasant, something urgently needs to change if it wants to continue to attract customers. Hopefully the situation will improve soon as I would like to come back here when the quality is good again.

Wir waren in einer größeren Gruppen hier und haben uns super wohl gefühlt, die Reservierung geht schnell und einfach, alle sind super freundlich und zuvorkommend und die Cocktails sind auch super. Auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert und durch die zentrale Lage auch einfach zu erreichen. Wir kommen wieder!

I had breakfast there today with a friend, the food was delicious, but unfortunately the portions were far too small for the price. The service was catastrophic, I went to the toilet with my girlfriend for 5 minutes and in the meantime they cleared away our food, drink and bread. Afterwards they assumed that we had run away, even though we had just come out of the toilet at that moment. When confronted, we got stupid looks from the staff and were then told that we would like to have our soggy bread back. It is not recommended, very bad experience.

The food tastes excellent, you don't have to wait long, the service is very nice, and the outdoor seating is popular when the weather is nice. Great localization.

Das Frühstück war super und sehr lecker. Location ist sehr schön - auch super an der Isar gelegen. Leider war es sehr laut und ziemlich voll. Gemütlichkeit kam nicht auf. Da das Personal bei dem Stress top freundlich gewesen ist, 4 von 5 Sternen. Vielleicht besser in der Woche hingehen 😎🤘🏻

I ordered a chai latte to go. The (only) friendly waitress said, no problem, we use Recup, it costs a €1 deposit. So I paid my €6.5 (steep!) and when the (very unfriendly) barista gave me the drink, there was no lid. So I'm supposed to take the subway with a full cup without a lid... When I asked about a lid, I was first told "no, there's no lid"...then "yes, it costs another 1 € for the lid". Couldn't you have said from the start that the to go, which is really suitable for to go, actually costs €2? About the drink: my chai latte was just syrup and milk... so disgustingly sweet, can probably cause diabetes on its own. Honestly, I'll never come back. This “experience” was enough for me. Edit: if you want to learn how to make chai latte, try Tushita Teehaus on Klenzestrasse. They use real tea and spices and they don't cost a fortune
