Rosi coffee & bar in München

I usually never leave reviews but my oh my. I was waiting with my date for 15 minutes at the door. Trying to order a cake, he told me they are at the front. I kept looking (the cafe was very busy), nothing. I couldn't find them and I could never get the waiter to show me or never came back to ask me if everything is good or remembered I was interested in cakes. You need to change the cake ordering system cause that was atrocious and I just walked out mid tea session.

Very hectic and loud, nothing for a relaxed brunch. Food was good, but didn't seem really fresh.

Nice local atmosphere, good prices. Especially fair beer prices for Munich City. However, the cheese spaetzle weren't particularly tasty, they tasted like the ready-made frozen ones from the discount store.

We had breakfast at Rosi, it was incredibly delicious, and the service was super fast and friendly. We'll definitely be back.

A very nice place to stay! Spacious with high ceilings and stylish furnishings. Unfortunately our waiter didn't smile that day, but we didn't have to wait long for drinks and food. My halloumi burger including fries was quite tasty - nothing special. The price of €18.90 is okay, €2-3 would have been better value for money. I like to come back because there is generally a nice selection of food (from burgers, tarte flambées, salads to curry and Kaiserschmarrn) and you could also sit longer for a drink or two 😊

Super friendly staff. We went to breakfast with several kids, and everyone was very patient and attentive. We had different breakfast options, and they were all delicious. Great selection!

Nice atmosphere, service could be friendlier, but food needs improvement. Breakfast is very old fashioned based on white bread and egg dishes, however, the fresh vegetables as garnish weren't freshly cut and coffee is watery. Lunch offers are usually good though.

Super unfriendly service. You just get the menu thrown on the table! (No, I'm not exaggerating.) I got the card thrown. Families with strollers are not welcome. We didn't help anyone open a door either. The waiter would rather quickly look elsewhere before helping a mother with a stroller… Thanks for that. The waiter prefers to lean on the counter and type on his cell phone instead of serving people. Cake also tastes completely dried out and not fresh. When paying, he waits for me to give a tip. Sorry not for this service!

Nice restaurant close to the Isar and Rosenheimerplatz. The staff was very attentive and even had a place for us without a reservation. We only had a drink, but so far everything was great.

Perfect breakfast in a great atmosphere We had breakfast at Rosi Munich at the weekend and had the “America” breakfast and the pancakes, both of which were excellent. The “America” breakfast comes with crispy bacon, eggs, sausage, toast and maple syrup. The pancakes were fluffy, not too sweet and a real highlight with fresh fruit and syrup. The ambience is stylish and cozy, the service friendly and attentive. It's particularly busy on weekends, so it's worth making a reservation in advance. If you want to enjoy a hearty breakfast in a relaxed atmosphere, this is the right place for you!

Got something wrong! The waitress assumed that we had ordered it and didn't take it over. There was also hair in the food.

A última hora de la tarde quería comer algo rápido y entré por la puerta de Das Rosie. Estaba casi vacío, pero un hombre no muy acogedor, probablemente el gerente, informó que tenían muchas reservas de mesa. Prometí comer rápido, me senté al lado de la entrada y pedí un plato de pasta. La pasta estaba demasiado cocida y apenas tenía experiencia culinaria. Me fui rápido.

We were in Munich for sightseeing and to be able to do it in the best way! Was a good breakfast a basis. Which we found, here at this very fantastic café. Good food and very nice serving staff. Yoghurt egg and orange juice and fresh bread. 👌🥰🌺

Very pleasant, uncomplicated, busy place. Dedicated, fast and very friendly service. We had breakfast there, the normal breakfast was extremely rich and tasty including homemade jam. But the highlight was the Kaiserschmarrn. Absolute recommendation, I haven't eaten such good Schmarrn (and yes, with raisins of course) in a long time. It was quite rightly full, so reservations are recommended.

The price is a disgrace!!!! Average taste! For 2 hard-boiled eggs that weren't fresh, €6.50 was a disgrace!

The ambience was very nice. The waitresses were relatively busy, but remained friendly. It took 20 minutes for the order to be taken, but the food came quickly. We had a combo breakfast of scrambled eggs and dessert, it was all very tasty. 🙂 We didn't find the reservation system that good. We initially made a reservation for a larger group and then received a cancellation after 8 hours. Why is the system not working with the current availability and capacity? 🤷🏻‍♀️ If you made a reservation for two people, you also had to confirm the reservation again the next day. What happens if you overlook it? All in all, quite inconvenient, especially if you want to reserve for a larger group.

The food was very tasty and the service was very friendly. We can particularly recommend the croissant filled with chocolate. We'd love to come back.

Wir waren auf der Durchreise und haben uns wegen den guten Bewertungen ganz gezielt für das Rosi entschieden. Freundliche Mitarbeiter, toller Service, super leckeres Essen, entspanntes Ambiente was will man mehr. Wenn die Toiletten etwas gepflegter wären, wäre das 👍 Schlussendlich eine wirklich gute Adresse für einen idealen Start in den Tag.

We reserved a table for breakfast at 9 a.m. on a Sunday. Now we arrived a quarter of an hour early, our mistake. But we had hoped that we would at least be allowed to wait inside, it was pretty cold outside and we had asked nicely. But we were told quite rudely from the background that we had to spend the quarter of an hour outside. They could have just sat us at a table and said it would take a while. We canceled our reservation and went to have breakfast somewhere else. It's a shame, we probably won't come back, although we always found Rosi nice.

We've eaten at Rosi's several times now. The food is super delicious. I can highly recommend the superfood latte with oat milk. The lunch menu is also well priced and everyone can find something to suit their taste. Good selection for vegans too. The service is super accommodating and nice. The atmosphere is very cozy and I like the furnishings too. I just love it!

A lovely and cozy café/restaurant with a great variety of breakfast options, ranging from traditional Weißwurst to delicious pancakes. The menu also offers tasty sandwiches and Flammkuchen. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, and the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. A perfect spot for a relaxed meal!

Food was ok- but staff is was rather unfriendly, we always had to ask to be served and a new person on the table stayed unnoticed, not even asked if they wanted to order anything. Generally unfriendly with regards to if we liked it , tips, etc. The food was meh and overpriced for what it was (very cheap bad quality bread came with the salad)

Ambience great. Food (Thai curry) poorly seasoned and small portion. 1 spoonful of rice included. That was excessive for the price.

We were here for breakfast as a group of 10 people. Good quality food, ok price, and a sufficient selection of dishes, all of which were breakfast classics. The service was quick and attentive. What was unfortunately very annoying was that we had to sit very close to each other because the table for 10 was actually only suitable for 8 people. Of course it is very crowded on Sundays and the noise level is very high, which you should be prepared for.

Were there late at night with a larger group and a lot of luggage. Eating after 10 p.m. was no problem at all, there was still the entire menu! Uncomplicated group reservations (which is unfortunately a rarity in Munich). Fast and attentive service. Cozy atmosphere, large selection of drinks and food, tasty and affordable. Everything fits here, cool location, super fast, friendly service, very on the ball. Food is good, I would like more homemade food, but that's complaining on a high level. I was able to identify good breakfast options on the menu, but unfortunately I wasn't able to test them. Thank you for the great hospitality.

The portion of baby potatoes with my schnitzel wasn't that impressive. As the name suggests, baby potatoes are even smaller than in the pictures. The schnitzel itself was the tasteless, driest schnitzel I've ever had. Maybe I had a bad day...

I was at Rosi with my partner today. The food, especially the vegan dishes like the curried vegetables and the vegan steak, was good. Unfortunately we had a negative experience with the service. The waiter was very unfriendly and placed the plates on the table roughly and hectically. In addition, we were spoken to roughly and the order was taken without looking at us. It was unclear whether the waiter was taking our order or looking at the wall. We should also get the ketchup and mayo ourselves. It was also difficult to get the waiter's attention and I felt like he was working as if he was doing us a favor and didn't care about us. I understand that there can be stressful moments, but such unfriendly interaction was really very disappointing.

Nice atmosphere but unfortunately overcharged us for an extra beer on our bill then denied it and accused my sober friend of forgetting to pay for her alcohol free drink that she had already paid for... especially not friendly to internationals

Went there for dinner yesterday. The reception wasn't really friendly... we were greeted with a "eat and drink or just drink" and seated grumpily. Beer came with half foam, food was still just warm. Schnitzels were great, the cheese spaetzle was a total horror. I also said when I dumped it, "it will be aligned, sorry" was the answer. Not even half of the portion was eaten (not that anyone thinks we eat and then complain). All in all ok, but just too expensive for the performance.

If you are a little tipsy, some arrogant bartenders charge you for extra without receipt even you ask for it... come on it is not some random city and random bad experience schade...

We came here for snack and coffee. Ended after long time waiting with Coffee and cappucchino and very quick out not staying long at Rosis. My friend who was before me there was not greeted very friendly. At the end sad to see that customer is not customer and politeness is just a condition of daily mood, which is a pitty 😕 The café would have so much more to offer, being central and be a nice spot to stay, if so!

We celebrated my birthday with a hearty breakfast there. Great service - the food was extremely appetizing and everything tasted great!

The taste of the food was below average. Service was quick and attentive. The tables were a bit narrow and the conversations from the neighboring tables were unfortunately very present. The seats in the entrance area are very drafty, which quickly becomes uncomfortable in low temperatures.

The food was good, but the service was disappointing. Make sure to double-check your receipt—10% was added without any notice!

It's such a shame, the food was really good, the ambience was also very nice... you were happy to stay seated there and the service was also good... but then we were very rudely asked to leave... without saying "as is normal "May I bring you the bill," and when we were surprised at this rude approach, things almost started to get a little aggressive. A restaurateur doesn't do something like that, so unfortunately never again!!!

The homemade tea were tasty and kaiser Schmarren was good. The service was timely but the waiter was very impolite and did not seem to be happy serving us. When he brought the cutleries, he almost banged the Krug (which had cutlery inside it) on the table. We were a bit shaken. He gave such an unhappy look the whole time, we felt somewhat awkward. While leaving, we bid him goodbye but he did not bother to respond.

I can only say briefly that everything is very tasty, satisfying, and fast. I was there this morning for breakfast. Large selection of breakfasts and more. I tried the American one, I recommend it. There were also pancakes with honey. Large selection of drinks and tea. ☺️ I will definitely come again. It’s just better to book a table in advance, conveniently online. Because there were few free places.
