Rosi coffee & bar in München

Without a reservation, only at the bar. But eating schnitzel at the bar is rather uncomfortable. Not for me. I'd much rather go to the Italian restaurant. 😄

While we were having breakfast, my partner noticed a mouse under a cupboard. We mentioned it to the waiter, who didn't flinch, not even apologizing for the fact that there was a mouse in a room full of people eating. Never again.

It was a very nice brunch. However, the restaurant was really packed on Sunday morning, and the service was quite hectic as a result. We were lucky, though, to have reserved a large table a little away from the others.

Don't pass by here for a nightcap.

Amazing!! We stayed in Munich for 10 days and ate breakfast here 4 mornings and had dinner and drinks 5 evenings. Became our go to place for great food, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff who new us by name. Is conviently located by the Deutsches Museum tram stop. Service was impressive. Our meals came out quickly and were perfect everytime. Wait staff are attentive and friendly, english menus & servers spoke English well. Ask about their hazelnut vodka. Highly recommend.

A lovely and cozy café. Breakfast is highly recommended, and the service is simply friendly. Unfortunately, I find it a bit cramped. It feels overcrowded when you walk in.

After reading so many positive reviews, we had actually expected a bit more. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special. We found the menu selection rather limited. We also ordered a large bottle of water and only later realized it was bottled tap water – for which we were charged €6.50. The service was friendly and perfectly adequate. If you are looking for a breakfast place in Munich, look no further! The food was very good and reasonably priced considering what was included in the menus. For 2 persons, their breakfast for 2 is a very good deal if you are looking for a big meal. Or you can also order smaller items individually. It is better to make a reservation on the weekends, but it is also possible to get a table as a walk-in.

It was good. Unfortunately, I got a meal that was basically really good, but it was ruined by a sugary syrup dressing.

This place became our go to for breakfast rather than paying the exorbitant hotel breakfast prices. Menu in English, fast and friendly service and great food and coffee. Also good for a decent evening meal and drink. Can get busy though at peak times.

A nice restaurant, although the music was initially too loud to have a normal conversation. The food and service were perfectly fine, and the price-performance ratio was reasonable.

Breakfast until 4 pm was great. I had scrambled eggs with tofu, which were very good. Bavarian breakfast: Weisswurst with two pretzels.

Liked this place, super fast service and decent food too. My only gripe is WAY too much salt on the Pommes/Fries (=4 stars only) but otherwise food and service were outstanding. I would return here no problem.

During our vacation in Munich, we were looking for a breakfast place and discovered Rosi. Since our daughter's name is Rosi (Rosalie), it was a funny coincidence. We've been here several times and we really like it! Good food and friendly service!

Sunday evening and no reservation – it was almost a big mistake. After a short wait at the bar, we got a small table. The beer was cold and tasty. The food was hot and equally delicious. Great atmosphere and friendly and very attentive staff.

As a family, there's plenty of space there, the food is good but sometimes very overpriced. We like to go there on rainy days or for breakfast.

Beautiful ambiance, we immediately felt at home. Delicious cake and Chiaretto from Lake Garda 😋 My wife left her bag there, but we didn't even notice because we had to leave for an event. The waiter tried very hard to contact her. More by chance (and because it was so nice there that afternoon), we went back to Rosis after the evening event. Everyone was overjoyed. The waiter was even more relieved than we were – we only realized the loss there. The two of us went to Rosi on a Friday evening and had salad and schnitzel. We got the food quickly and it was very good. The staff was very friendly and the service overall was impeccable. We had a very pleasant evening at Rosi.

We came here with a stroller, and the woman told us we would have to wait for an hour since the whole café has only two tables where they can accommodate strollers, and both were occupied. We waited a bit longer, and then she came out again and said, “What are you waiting for? Are you really going to wait an hour?” — which was super rude! Keep in mind that we only had a car seat, not even a bassinet. And then she let a lot of people who arrived after us sit inside the café. Even they apologized to us — but she didn’t even say sorry.

I had the worst salad in Munich here, and it cost almost 20 euros. I was shocked at how bold you have to be to serve such a dish for that price. The salad had huge chunks of the cheapest, plastic-like tomatoes, big pieces of cucumber, and large leaves of the most tasteless lettuce, which were uncomfortable to chew. And that green bell pepper was completely out of place! Who even puts green pepper (!!) in a salad? The dressing was completely basic. The beef pieces were rubbery and hard to chew. No talent, no sense of taste or presentation. No nuts, no tasty sauce, no interesting combination of ingredients like in Hans im Glück, Cotidiano or Peter Pane. Zero understanding of gastronomy and no effort to make it good. Maybe send your chefs to some good restaurants, so they can see the difference and finally learn how to cook properly. A huge disappointment.

We happened to be there quite by chance. We had made a reservation two hours in advance. They served three variations of schnitzel. All three were delicious. We also had a couple of cocktails. A successful evening.

The Munich schnitzel with fries was pathetic, dripping with grease and falling apart. A fly died in my beer glass, and the waitress barely showed up. Never again.

Great selection for breakfast and brunch with large portions. Not cheap (what's that in Munich...), but definitely worth the money! Reservations for Sunday are highly recommended; it's certainly busy here. The service staff are very friendly and accommodating. However, you can tell that there aren't enough of them for the number of visitors. They handle it very bravely and always with a friendly smile. But sometimes it takes a while for them to make it through to us. Dear employer, a few more service staff would relieve the pressure on your valuable employees and make a better impression on customers!

Rosi's is fantastic. We had breakfast twice and loved the breakfast selection. The food was also very well presented and everything tasted great! The service was also very attentive. And we all thought the value for money was excellent. You pay between €15 and €20 and you get very full! A definite recommendation!

Rosi – a truly beautiful, cozy restaurant where you immediately feel at home. The decor is lovely and stylish, simply inviting. Breakfast and brunch are delicious, everything is freshly and lovingly prepared, and you can tell that quality is important here. A beautiful but very busy place. After exactly 1:45 hours, you're actually charged immediately so that the seat can be given to someone else. Unfortunately, the lounge area by the window is only partially suitable for eating.

Went there for dinner and ordered a salad with Burrito and Avacado, to my surprise there was a worm in the salad. That's absolutely disgusting. The staff was apologetic but clearly there is no quality control in the kitchen. If there a negative starts, I would give it that.

Dismissive waitress, she can pass 5 times and not attend you without any apparent reason so I had to stand up to ask inside and also pay inside because she simply wouldn’t bother, she’s not German but Latin or Asian, the guy at the bar was nice enough to go out and take my drink but not enough to make up for the bad waitress

I had an authentic Bavarian breakfast here with white sausages, pretzels, and Obazda (traditional Bavarian sausage). The food was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. I'll be happy to come back on my next visit to Munich!

Although the food is okay the price is a bit expensive. Also the place had a lot of bees (that also touched the food) which really affected the experience and forced us to leave. The staff refused to help us or refund food which was not even eaten.

A fantastic breakfast place. We've been here a few times now and we enjoy waiting every time. The staff is very friendly and tries to accommodate all requests, and the food is (almost) always incredibly delicious. (Unfortunately, the avocado on the bread was a bit bland and mushy the second time, whereas it was perfectly seasoned and in chunks the first time, and the muesli didn't taste as good the second time either.) Nevertheless, we will come back because, despite everything, the food is very good and plentiful, the atmosphere is very pleasant, and the staff are super friendly.

Nice place but when we visited mid August we had bees all over our food and we couldn’t eat without constantly waving our hands to get them off with the risk of being stung. Food was ok.

This food is good. Priced decent for an Indian tourist in Europe. This post is about the “unwanted guests treatment “ that people of different color perhaps receive here. The ambiance was as bland as the seasoning—apparently, they ran out of both. Upon arrival, I was greeted with uncertainty if I needed a table with my family or if we were doing window shopping for food. Upon 3 calls for taking our order and the waiters or owners whoever they were, put us on a virtual waitlist where they preferred the late coming whites to be treated with food and drinks first. The waiter seemed perplexed, perhaps having mistaken the Indian family for an unexpected plot twist in his otherwise beige and grey day. When I ordered, he gave me the kind of look one reserves for people who request pineapple on pizza: pure judgment. My drink food and bill arrived fashionably late, probably because it had to go through an identity crisis first. In summary: if you are exotic Indian or Asian and you’re looking for an experience that’s both subtly awkward and unintentionally or rather naturally racial, please do visit here. 0 points for hospitality and warmth. Come to india and you can see how to welcome tourists who come and give you more business than the locals perhaps.

First time we eat an original Flammkuchen and it is delicious, in general everything is super good, the portions and the flavor of everything is spectacular.

I like to have breakfast here when I'm staying at the hotel around the corner. It's delicious and plentiful.

First of all, the food and drinks are great. However, the staff is sometimes extremely unmotivated and unfriendly. Perhaps this is because the place is always very busy, but even then, they shouldn't act so listless towards customers. Also, it sometimes takes forever to be served, and someone has to actively ask if they can order something... Unfortunately, we've observed this both this year and last year...

The breakfast is very generous, and the schnitzel is very well-made! The breading was fantastic. The waitresses were very understanding and patient, especially with special requests, and were very helpful and friendly. Although the ambiance is outside on the street, the noise level is moderate.

We had a great breakfast there however we were seated at table that was more for having a drink or a coffee, not for eating. The place is very nice and the staff did their best considering it was very crowded.

I'm rarely here, but I always enjoy it. I like it.

Overrated. Ordered the egg white omelet which had no flavor. In the omelet was whole cherry tomatoes and when I cut into the omelet, the hidden tomato squirted all over my outfit. As this happened, one of the employees walked by and shook her head as if I was the problem. Portion size was good for the price. The rest of the staff was about a 6-7/10 nice, mainly neutral and just doing their jobs. The rustic aesthetic was very nice.

Fast, friendly service, a pleasant atmosphere, and good seating, including lounges. It's not too crowded on weekday mornings, so there are always seats available. The food is very tasty, but not a lot. The only "fruit" I had was a few berries. Not suitable for vegans, as almost everything contains egg. The fresh juices are delicious, and the coffee, tea, and chai latte are also good.

Frühstück für zwei - eine Empfehlung. Ein abwechslungsreiches, vielfältiges und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Es war sehr, sehr lecker. Reservation zu empfehlen. Es war vollständig ausgebucht.
