Each course was a culinary delight in itself. Exquisitely coordinated, varied, and perfectly portioned. Stylish ambiance, excellent service – professional, attentive, yet relaxed and informal. A highly recommended restaurant.

We visited Pageou during the Christmas season. We opted for the 5-star menu, which was an excellent choice. The food was very tasty and varied, the wines were top-notch, and the service was very good and friendly. Unfortunately, Ali Güngörmüş wasn't there in person, but we'll just have to come back again.

The evening at Restaurant Pageou in Munich was a great success overall. The food was exceptionally delicious and of a high standard, and the ambiance was pleasantly cozy and stylish. The service deserves special mention: extremely attentive, friendly, and professional – you truly feel welcome. However, the drink prices are a significant drawback: €25 for a Negroni as an aperitif is simply outrageously expensive, as is €10 for a bottle of water, which is also completely excessive. Overall, it's a very nice restaurant with excellent cuisine and great service, but the drink prices definitely need to be reconsidered.

Questions are answered expertly, wine recommendations are spot on, and you can sense that the team embodies the restaurant's high standards. Pageou is undoubtedly in the higher price range. However, for special occasions, it's worth every penny, as you not only receive excellent food but also a perfectly harmonious overall experience. Anyone looking for an evening that impresses both culinarily and atmospherically and leaves a lasting impression will be in excellent hands here.

We attended a cooking class with Ali here. The class was a fantastic experience from beginning to end and was a lot of fun. Preparing the four-course meal under Ali's guidance was enjoyable. The atmosphere was relaxed and fun. The food was delicious, and the accompanying wines were perfectly chosen. The entire team was so friendly. I highly recommend this cooking class.

We traveled 400km especially for this and it was more than worth it! The food was absolutely delicious and the service staff perfectly rounded off the evening with their professionalism and a certain ease. We sat outside in the courtyard, which was very nice and cozy!

A sensational evening at "Pageou" We dined on October 31st and received a very warm welcome. Unfortunately, Ali wasn't there that evening, but we were served by his equally charming brother, Murat, who took excellent care of us throughout the evening. The food was sensational; we had the chef's menu and were completely satisfied. They spontaneously prepared a fantastic risotto for our son, and we also added fries to his Black Angus filet, so he was perfectly happy as well. It was a thoroughly delicious menu with Turkish flavors in the appetizer, served in a very pleasant and relaxed atmosphere. We can absolutely recommend this restaurant!

We had the Chef's Menu and the Levantine Menu. Much of the food was good and beautifully presented, but unfortunately, none of it was very well seasoned. Much of it was cooked correctly but heavy and not very refined (no good balance of sweet, savory, and sour flavors...) – in other words, lacking a creative twist and sometimes quite unbalanced. In our opinion, you don't necessarily need to go to a fine-dining restaurant for just "good" food. The service was very unobtrusively friendly, extremely polite, and even entertaining, which deserves special mention. The ambiance is truly lovely, and it's easy to have a good conversation. It was a nice evening, but unfortunately, the quality of the food didn't live up to our expectations.

I ate there with my family. The food was very bad. The steak was too raw. The appetizers were good, but they were the only thing that filled my stomach. For just under €600, you're spending there. For four people, you'll probably get hungrier than fuller. McDonald's would have done the same. The Coke was very, very full of ice. The waitress had her hair tied back, and her hair was a bit in my food. Otherwise, the restaurant is quite good, but the food definitely needs to be improved, as everything tastes the same.

Truly an experience if you enjoy food. The ambiance in the courtyard is also very pleasant, cozy, and extremely pleasant. The food is fantastic – worth every euro, and the service is excellent.

The reception was very friendly, the service polite, humorous, and accommodating. The dishes were explained very well, the food was served quickly, but they were considerate and, if requested, waited for the next course. The dishes played a great role in the taste buds: acidity, sweetness, umami, a slight spiciness, everything was there – perfect!!! The wine was very good, especially the Turkish Sauvignon Blanc. The chef works with us, even clears tables. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and everything was always presented divinely. The very friendly chef, Mr. Güngormüs, also came to our table from time to time to take our orders, serve the food, and chat. 😀 The waiters were also always attentive and super friendly! Despite booking a time slot, we had to wait in the stairwell outside the door. The "chef" wasn't there. The food was good, but not much different from what you'd expect at a restaurant in Istanbul. However, it was quite expensive. Probably the "TV chef" surcharge. Star deduction for the seating. The partially occupied bar stools were very close to my back, which I found uncomfortable. The presentation about the food could have been omitted; you could see what was on the plate. Unfortunately, not 5 out of 5.

Anlässlich des 22. Geburtstages unseres Sohnes waren wir gestern im Pageou. Wirklich sehr nett war, dass unsere sympathische Bedienung unserem Sohn aufrichtig zum Geburtstag gratuliert hat. Aber vor allem bzgl. des Essens haben wir mehr erwartet für unser Geld. Ein kleines Beispiel: Wir waren kürzlich im Berggericht in Kitzbühel essen. Dieses Restaurant hat einen Michelin Stern. Wir haben zu viert alle das Menü inklusive Weinbegleitung genommen und auf drei Personen runter gerechnet haben wir um die € 1.100,— bezahlt bei sensationell guten Essen (7-Gang Menü!). Gestern zu dritt mit dem 4-Gang Chef Menü und ebenso Weinbegleitung lagen bei € 670,—. Dafür war das Essen gut, aber leider nicht herausragend. Der Service war hingegen super nett, bis auf gelegentliche Verspätungen bei der Weinbegleitung. Die Verabschiedung durch unsere Kellner war wieder sehr nett.

Danke für den kulinarisch exzellenten Abend. Sämtliche Speisen waren von höchster Qualität und geschmacklich einmalig. Besonderen Dank an unseren "Oldenburger" Hauptkellner, der den Abend charmant, kompetent und witzig zu einem tollen Erlebnis gemacht hat. Herr Güngörmüş hat den Abend wundervoll begleitet und wir fühlten uns sehr gut aufgehoben. Schicke Location, tolles Team und geschmacklich, qualitativ die beste Ente die ich je gegessen habe. Beautifully and atmospherically furnished guest room to feel good. The relaxed and friendly service is fun and you just feel welcome. It was nice that there was a choice between vegetarian and “normal” menus and also á la carte. We were very happy to receive a very tasty non-alcoholic drink accompaniment to the two menu options - the guest is definitely king here and is treated to the best! And finally to the highlight, the food. Wonderful combinations of Mediterranean cuisine and classic top-class gastronomy completely convinced us. I'm looking forward to the next visit!

Chic but not fancy, very, very nice staff and down-to-earth boss. I was there with my husband and 3 older men, all of whom have already eaten their way through all the stars. The food here is something very special. We had a very friendly welcome, the staff was very attentive. The restaurant was very full and the room was therefore quite loud, which I found unpleasant. But the food made up for it all and exceeded my expectations. Really great!

You rarely experience such a beautiful evening

Meine Familie hat mich zu meinem Geburtstag in das Pageou eingeladen. Das Entree hat mich schon überrascht, Ali stand gleich am Eingang und hat uns aus den Mänteln geholfen ... mit lustigen Sprüchen haben wir uns gegenseitig begrüsst. Das Essen war sehr gut, türkische Einflüsse konnte man erkennen - ein Gericht war wohl aus Alis Oma oder Mutters Küche beeinflusst. In Summe eine Runde Sache mit Wiederholungsabsicht ;-). Ob das Essen teuer oder angemessen war ist schwer zu sagen, bedenkt man die tolle Location (Miete!!) Das viele Personal und mit etwas Gewinn soll das Unternehmen auch sein, sonst verschwinden immer mehr gute Küchen in München. Mir, uns hat es geschmeckt, toller Rahmen und Stimmung. Wie gesagt gerne wieder :-) Merhaba Ali.

verglichen mit anderen Sterne-Restaurants höchstens ausreichend. Extrem laut, massiv überteuert für die eher banalen, geschmacklich flachen Gerichte. Beginnt schon mit der Butter zu Beginn des Dinners: Ein Stück lieblos abgeschnittene Supermarkt-Butter, dazu noch fast gefroren. Die Gänge sind nett (aber nicht großartig) angerichtet, aber geschmacklich war das Menü durchweg eher wie "beim Italiener nebenan". Keine geschmackliche Tiefe, keine Rafinesse, eben Durchschnitt. Die Weine schienen mir ebenfalls deutlich zu teuer, die Wein-Beratung war mies. Für ein Drittel des Preises wäre es ein tolles Essen gewesen. Lobenswert: Das Personal war sehr freundlich und guter Laune.

Das Pageau ist außergewöhnlich und etwas Besonderes: In München gibt es wohl keine bessere levantinisch-türkische Küche. Auch die Weinkarte kann sich sehen lassen. Guter unaufdringlicher Service.

The cooking is young, modern and cosmopolitan. Only high-quality, regional products are used, which are a real treat for the palate thanks to exotic and oriental influences. The philosophy of Pageous is to make the best out of simple and good products. This guiding principle is supported by an international wine selection and a perfectly trained, attentive service team, which turn a visit into a culinary adventure and sustainable experience. Über das Restaurant kann ich nichts sagen! Ali selbst habe ich bei Grill den Henssler Spezial in Magdeburg erlebt! Er ist sowas von arrogant das sieht man im TV nicht! Keine Zeit für die Fans gehabt und in jeder Pause hat er sich verdrückt! Also arrogant ist noch geschmeichelt!

The service is tailored to the cuisine: the team is very young and always present. A big compliment to the service staff! Overall, a great culinary experience of a special kind. We booked a cooking course for three people a few weeks ago. The two colleagues arrived from Barcelona on the Thursday before the cooking class. Until the day of the cooking class on Saturday, no information about whether we were allowed to take part or not. The colleagues were able to fly home without a cooking class. Never again!!!!

Wir haben im Pageou das 4-Gänge Chefmenü bestellt. Der einleitende Meze Gang war perfekt. Es wurden diverse Starter im Meze Portionen serviert, die geschmacklich top waren. Die danach folgenden Gänge waren ebenfalls super! Die Präsentation der Speisen war sehr gelungen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und professionell. Wir konnten sogar ein Foto mit Ali machen. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Location im Hinterhof! Sehr zu empfehlen!

The Pageau restaurant in Munich is the place where top chef Mr. Ali Güngörmüs presents his creative cuisine at the highest level. Despite his popularity in TV appearances, Mr. Güngörmüs manages to offer an exceptional experience in his restaurant. We had the chef menu with the accompanying wines. Here are a few highlights: The first course "Meze" goat cheese on fig carpaccio, octopus, Mama's Köfte, Chai Ayran and much more. A variety of great flavor nuances. The Sauvignon blanc from Turkey, Cotes d'Avanos, was excellent. The halibut with crab on a pumpkin puree was perfect and of excellent quality. A successful interpretation of bouillabaise. Apple basil sorbet with gin and tonic espuma, a great flavor combination. We also really enjoyed the other dishes. A successful evening.

What should have been a beautiful evening turned out to be a disappointment. We couldn't make a reservation until 9pm that evening. Previously there were no times available. A beautiful stately location with an attractively decorated restaurant and friendly service. The food and wines were excellent but the pace was very nice. It was not a quiet, pleasant dining experience. The kitchen was clearly in a hurry. After about 1.5 hours we had been served the appetizer and the 4 courses. During the dessert the service started, we were the last guests, the tablecloths, table lamps, etc. were removed. Very unpleasant. To make matters worse, the doors to the kitchen opened, full of light and scrubbing also took place in the restaurant behind the bar. You got the impression that they would rather we went. So that's what we did. Tip for the owner. Don't take reservations so late or clean later. Late guests are also entitled to a pleasant atmosphere.

The food and service were simply great, the boss also personally “buzzed around” and greeted the guests. Minimal drawback: the table and chair wobbled slightly due to the crooked terrace tiles

Very good food, especially the meze surprisingly tasty. In terms of price, a house number.

Höflich, freundlicher und korrekter Service. Neutrale Stimmung. Beim Knuspersaibling dominierte die Kruste, sodass der Geschmack des Saiblings unterging. Der Jakobsmuschel Gang war toll, genauso wie das schwarze Limettensorbet. Das Filet vom Black Angus war Blut rot und für meine Begleiterinnen nicht genießbar. Leider bestand das wohlschmeckende Selleriepürree nur aus zwei Punkten. Zu wenig um als Beilage zu dienen.

Had an amazing 3-course dinner for a work event. Wonderful flavours, beautifully resented and paired with really nice wines. My favourite was the beef!

The boss is a real original, friendly and cosmopolitan. He is just as open in the restaurant as he is on the show “Kochs anders”. The food is a poem, you definitely have to treat yourself to something so delicious. It's definitely not cheap, but it's worth every cent. The staff at Pageou deserve 10 out of 10 🌟. Great evening!!!!!!

The menu was an ingenious composition, the wines went perfectly with the individual courses. Extremely friendly and attentive service. Casual atmosphere in the beautiful courtyard on a warm summer evening, definitely recommended.

There was no taste highlight in the meal, the mezes were rather disappointing, the service was below average for a star level and the price/performance ratio wasn't right. For 2 people 600€ with the quality, half would be well paid. On the whole it was rather a disappointment, the craftsmanship was at a star level and the taste was rather disappointing.

Wonderful evening. The meat course in the chef's menu was by far the weakest course. Excellent mezze and dessert. Excellent service and an incredibly successful non-alcoholic drink/wine accompaniment. A great casual evening. Thanks to the team.
