We were thrilled, unfortunately we didn't meet Ali in person, maybe next time it will work out ☺️

Wow! Truly a culinary highlight in Munich. The food isn't exactly cheap, but the value for money is excellent! We're both hoteliers and were absolutely impressed by the service, the food, and the "spectacle" on offer. They even accommodated my special request for free (soup instead of an appetizer because there was no fish).

We ate at Pageou yesterday and had an unforgettable evening. Thank you so much in advance. We received a very friendly and courteous welcome and were shown to our table upstairs in the restaurant. The service was excellent, and the food was amazing. We both had the chef's menu, which I highly recommend. I can still taste the food today. It was very informal, and we felt very comfortable. Ali was there too and even served us a course. At the end, we took a photo!

The food and ambiance were top-notch. All the dishes were perfectly balanced and delicious. Unfortunately, we made the mistake of choosing the wine pairing. In some cases, the food was almost eaten before the wine even arrived. No information about the wine was shared, either. Only upon request… at these prices, I expect something better!

It couldn't be better: wonderful food, great ambiance, and very, very friendly and attentive service. The prices are high, but absolutely justified for this high level of quality.

The reception was very friendly, the service polite, humorous, and accommodating. The dishes were explained very well, the food was served quickly, but they were considerate and, if requested, waited for the next course. The dishes played a great role in the taste buds: acidity, sweetness, umami, a slight spiciness, everything was there – perfect!!! The wine was very good, especially the Turkish Sauvignon Blanc. The chef works with us, even clears tables. He is very personable, respectful of his staff, and even when the restaurant is full, he still takes time for conversations, photos, service, etc. We'd love to come back and bring friends! Truly an experience if you enjoy food. The ambiance in the courtyard is also very pleasant, cozy, and extremely pleasant. The food is fantastic – worth every euro, and the service is excellent.

Very nice location. Great ambiance. We opted for the menu with wine pairing. Unfortunately, the wine pairing was simply forgotten for the first course. Because I asked, I was not charged for it. So, a good solution.

We traveled 400km for this, and it was more than worth it! The food was truly delicious, and the service staff rounded off the evening perfectly with professionalism and a certain lightness. We sat outside in the courtyard, which was very nice and cozy!

Beautiful restaurant! We received a very friendly welcome and were shown to our table. A fantastic atmosphere! The food was fantastic. It tasted outstanding. Just like in a 3-star restaurant. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and everything was always presented divinely. The very friendly chef, Mr. Güngormüs, also came to our table from time to time to take our orders, serve the food, and chat. 😀 The waiters were also always attentive and super friendly! All in all, a 5-star rating. Thank you to the entire restaurant staff!

Despite booking a time slot, we had to wait in the stairwell outside the door. The "chef" wasn't there. The food was good, but not much different from what you'd expect at a restaurant in Istanbul. However, it was quite expensive. Probably the "TV chef" surcharge. Star deduction for the seating. The partially occupied bar stools were very close to my back, which I found uncomfortable. The presentation about the food could have been omitted; you could see what was on the plate. Unfortunately, not 5 out of 5.

Anlässlich des 22. Geburtstages unseres Sohnes waren wir gestern im Pageou. Wirklich sehr nett war, dass unsere sympathische Bedienung unserem Sohn aufrichtig zum Geburtstag gratuliert hat. Aber vor allem bzgl. des Essens haben wir mehr erwartet für unser Geld. Ein kleines Beispiel: Wir waren kürzlich im Berggericht in Kitzbühel essen. Dieses Restaurant hat einen Michelin Stern. Wir haben zu viert alle das Menü inklusive Weinbegleitung genommen und auf drei Personen runter gerechnet haben wir um die € 1.100,— bezahlt bei sensationell guten Essen (7-Gang Menü!). Gestern zu dritt mit dem 4-Gang Chef Menü und ebenso Weinbegleitung lagen bei € 670,—. Dafür war das Essen gut, aber leider nicht herausragend. Der Service war hingegen super nett, bis auf gelegentliche Verspätungen bei der Weinbegleitung. Die Verabschiedung durch unsere Kellner war wieder sehr nett.

Beautifully and atmospherically furnished guest room to feel good. The relaxed and friendly service is fun and you just feel welcome. It was nice that there was a choice between vegetarian and “normal” menus and also á la carte. We were very happy to receive a very tasty non-alcoholic drink accompaniment to the two menu options - the guest is definitely king here and is treated to the best! And finally to the highlight, the food. Wonderful combinations of Mediterranean cuisine and classic top-class gastronomy completely convinced us. I'm looking forward to the next visit!

Chic but not fancy, very, very nice staff and down-to-earth boss. I was there with my husband and 3 older men, all of whom have already eaten their way through all the stars. They were particularly impressed by the duck and the sauce that went with it. Very, very nice evening with high-quality food, a cozy, chic atmosphere and no fake friendliness. We like that.

A variety of flavors that make the palate dance. With every dish you notice how much skill, passion and professionalism the chefs have in the kitchen. The food here is something very special. We had a very friendly welcome, the staff was very attentive. The restaurant was very full and the room was therefore quite loud, which I found unpleasant. But the food made up for it all and exceeded my expectations. Really great!

You rarely experience such a beautiful evening

Meine Familie hat mich zu meinem Geburtstag in das Pageou eingeladen. Das Entree hat mich schon überrascht, Ali stand gleich am Eingang und hat uns aus den Mänteln geholfen ... mit lustigen Sprüchen haben wir uns gegenseitig begrüsst. Das Essen war sehr gut, türkische Einflüsse konnte man erkennen - ein Gericht war wohl aus Alis Oma oder Mutters Küche beeinflusst. In Summe eine Runde Sache mit Wiederholungsabsicht ;-). Ob das Essen teuer oder angemessen war ist schwer zu sagen, bedenkt man die tolle Location (Miete!!) Das viele Personal und mit etwas Gewinn soll das Unternehmen auch sein, sonst verschwinden immer mehr gute Küchen in München. Mir, uns hat es geschmeckt, toller Rahmen und Stimmung. Wie gesagt gerne wieder :-) Merhaba Ali.

Since we had booked a cooking course with Mr. Güngörmüs for the following day, we didn't want to miss the opportunity to get to know his restaurant and we didn't regret it. The food, the beautiful restaurant and the perfect and very friendly service made the evening complete. We enjoyed every minute and can 100% recommend visiting the restaurant and the cooking school. verglichen mit anderen Sterne-Restaurants höchstens ausreichend. Extrem laut, massiv überteuert für die eher banalen, geschmacklich flachen Gerichte. Beginnt schon mit der Butter zu Beginn des Dinners: Ein Stück lieblos abgeschnittene Supermarkt-Butter, dazu noch fast gefroren. Die Gänge sind nett (aber nicht großartig) angerichtet, aber geschmacklich war das Menü durchweg eher wie "beim Italiener nebenan". Keine geschmackliche Tiefe, keine Rafinesse, eben Durchschnitt. Die Weine schienen mir ebenfalls deutlich zu teuer, die Wein-Beratung war mies. Für ein Drittel des Preises wäre es ein tolles Essen gewesen. Lobenswert: Das Personal war sehr freundlich und guter Laune.

Das Pageau ist außergewöhnlich und etwas Besonderes: In München gibt es wohl keine bessere levantinisch-türkische Küche. Auch die Weinkarte kann sich sehen lassen. Guter unaufdringlicher Service.

The cooking is young, modern and cosmopolitan. Only high-quality, regional products are used, which are a real treat for the palate thanks to exotic and oriental influences. The philosophy of Pageous is to make the best out of simple and good products. This guiding principle is supported by an international wine selection and a perfectly trained, attentive service team, which turn a visit into a culinary adventure and sustainable experience. Über das Restaurant kann ich nichts sagen! Ali selbst habe ich bei Grill den Henssler Spezial in Magdeburg erlebt! Er ist sowas von arrogant das sieht man im TV nicht! Keine Zeit für die Fans gehabt und in jeder Pause hat er sich verdrückt! Also arrogant ist noch geschmeichelt!

The restaurant is amazing. The chef, Ali Güngörmüs, Who is a Micheline starred chef, is very talented and cool guy. His ability to cook is very special. I loved the ambiance, food and the service in Restaurant. I have been here a few times, I always ate amazing food. Very delicious. Also The presentation of the food is an art here. The wine selection is one of the best in Munich and the beverages are quite reasonable. I definitely recommend this restaurant to enjoy the good food

We booked a cooking course for three people a few weeks ago. The two colleagues arrived from Barcelona on the Thursday before the cooking class. Until the day of the cooking class on Saturday, no information about whether we were allowed to take part or not. The colleagues were able to fly home without a cooking class. Never again!!!!

Wir haben im Pageou das 4-Gänge Chefmenü bestellt. Der einleitende Meze Gang war perfekt. Es wurden diverse Starter im Meze Portionen serviert, die geschmacklich top waren. Die danach folgenden Gänge waren ebenfalls super! Die Präsentation der Speisen war sehr gelungen. Der Service war sehr freundlich und professionell. Wir konnten sogar ein Foto mit Ali machen. Besonders gut gefallen hat uns die Location im Hinterhof! Sehr zu empfehlen!

The Pageau restaurant in Munich is the place where top chef Mr. Ali Güngörmüs presents his creative cuisine at the highest level. Despite his popularity in TV appearances, Mr. Güngörmüs manages to offer an exceptional experience in his restaurant. We had the chef menu with the accompanying wines. Here are a few highlights: The first course "Meze" goat cheese on fig carpaccio, octopus, Mama's Köfte, Chai Ayran and much more. A variety of great flavor nuances. The Sauvignon blanc from Turkey, Cotes d'Avanos, was excellent. The halibut with crab on a pumpkin puree was perfect and of excellent quality. A successful interpretation of bouillabaise. Apple basil sorbet with gin and tonic espuma, a great flavor combination. We also really enjoyed the other dishes. A successful evening.

What should have been a beautiful evening turned out to be a disappointment. We couldn't make a reservation until 9pm that evening. Previously there were no times available. A beautiful stately location with an attractively decorated restaurant and friendly service. The food and wines were excellent but the pace was very nice. It was not a quiet, pleasant dining experience. The kitchen was clearly in a hurry. After about 1.5 hours we had been served the appetizer and the 4 courses. During the dessert the service started, we were the last guests, the tablecloths, table lamps, etc. were removed. Very unpleasant. To make matters worse, the doors to the kitchen opened, full of light and scrubbing also took place in the restaurant behind the bar. You got the impression that they would rather we went. So that's what we did. Tip for the owner. Don't take reservations so late or clean later. Late guests are also entitled to a pleasant atmosphere.

The food and service were simply great, the boss also personally “buzzed around” and greeted the guests. Minimal drawback: the table and chair wobbled slightly due to the crooked terrace tiles

Höflich, freundlicher und korrekter Service. Neutrale Stimmung. Beim Knuspersaibling dominierte die Kruste, sodass der Geschmack des Saiblings unterging. Der Jakobsmuschel Gang war toll, genauso wie das schwarze Limettensorbet. Das Filet vom Black Angus war Blut rot und für meine Begleiterinnen nicht genießbar. Leider bestand das wohlschmeckende Selleriepürree nur aus zwei Punkten. Zu wenig um als Beilage zu dienen.

The boss is a real original, friendly and cosmopolitan. He is just as open in the restaurant as he is on the show “Kochs anders”. The food is a poem, you definitely have to treat yourself to something so delicious. It's definitely not cheap, but it's worth every cent. The staff at Pageou deserve 10 out of 10 🌟. Had an amazing 3-course dinner for a work event. Wonderful flavours, beautifully resented and paired with really nice wines. My favourite was the beef!

The menu was an ingenious composition, the wines went perfectly with the individual courses. Extremely friendly and attentive service. Casual atmosphere in the beautiful courtyard on a warm summer evening, definitely recommended.

There was no taste highlight in the meal, the mezes were rather disappointing, the service was below average for a star level and the price/performance ratio wasn't right. For 2 people 600€ with the quality, half would be well paid. On the whole it was rather a disappointment, the craftsmanship was at a star level and the taste was rather disappointing.

Wonderful evening. The meat course in the chef's menu was by far the weakest course. Excellent mezze and dessert. Excellent service and an incredibly successful non-alcoholic drink/wine accompaniment. A great casual evening. Thanks to the team.

We went to the Pageou restaurant for my wife's birthday. After stating when making the reservation that the visit was a birthday present, upon arrival there was no further attention from the receptionist other than the question "who's birthday is it" and "happy birthday". . Neither a birthday champagne or a small special decoration (like a small flower), which is normal in other restaurants on the occasion of such an event and without which it would now be very time-consuming or associated with costs. We had a 6 course meal with wine accompaniment. Unfortunately I have to deduct another star for the wine accompaniment, as our waiter grimaced a little when we asked if he would refill the wine glass because we actually liked it very much. So with a “smile” we got the rest of the bottle for 2 glasses of 1/8, including cream of tartar. No general information about the wines, other than what was already on the menu, which I was able to read myself. The remaining wines for the respective courses were OK, but nothing more and completely excessive for €89. Dessert was the weakest course. Similarly, the course with the scallop was a poem, as was the first course, which was perfectly matched with the good wine mentioned above. The waiters/waitresses were all really very nice and always tried to make sure we had a nice evening. Except for the criticisms listed above. My conclusion …. It wasn't worth the over €600 to me. It's actually a shame, but we will celebrate future birthdays somewhere else.

Some dishes are simply fantastic, others are good. Service very friendly, but a bit awkward. Rooms are nice, but very loud. The toilets would “look good” if renovated. Overall, a very successful evening.

For me, our visit to the Pageou restaurant last night can be summed up in one word: :Disappointing. You sit very close together and it's very loud. Mr. Güngümüs initially jumps to the table and is not seen again the entire evening. The food is served at a rapid pace, leaving hardly any time to enjoy it. The food itself is perfect, but very bland in itself. I had the Levante menu, the tortellini were more than aldente and the same goes for the asparagus. The foams didn't "stand". What was incomprehensible to me was when the waiter, a wine expert, served red wine from an unlabeled bottle and tried to tell me that it was a 2021... so I asked myself, is that it? legal. I asked twice and he said the wine would be added to the wine range in the future and then awarded with personal labels by the restaurant. Okay? My companion found this understandable. I've never experienced anything like that and didn't find it credible. Conclusion: Price performance is not right for me at all. It's a shame, I was really looking forward to the evening. I've eaten much better and the wine was always served from originally labeled wine bottles.

We went here specifically after we were able to take a cooking course with Ali Güngörmüs last year. As expected, everything worked 100 percent. Very friendly service staff who fulfilled all of our wishes. We'll definitely come back.

We were there on April 19th. Great service, great food.

Great and, above all, huge selection of mezze. The main courses couldn't quite keep up with that and only partially justify the high price. But gladly again for mezze.

We ate very tasty food. Service can still improve! Unfortunately, our 6-course menu was finished in about 90 minutes... which is of course a shame! An example: the main course was already brought to the table while we were still busy with the sorbet. My request for a break was met with an unfriendly response from the waiter that I should have said that earlier. Unfortunately I didn't have the opportunity to do that. I would have liked more peace and exclusivity.

We were really looking forward to visiting the Pageou restaurant in Munich and were definitely not disappointed. All courses of both menus impressed with the perfection of the flavors and of course the wonderful appearance. The service tried very hard to give us a nice evening. Our daughter was also offered alternatives suitable for children. Even the boss was personally present in the restaurant the whole evening. An absolute recommendation, the money is definitely worth it!

I would like to thank my lovely wife Michaela for this extraordinary and unforgettable evening at Pageou. It was nice that I was also able to see Ali Güngörmüş in person. We'll be back 👍😀🙋🏻‍♂️

Unser Abend war vollends gelungen! Die Meze ein Traum und das Levante-Menü (vegetarisch) war grossartig. Herausheben möchte ich aber unbedingt auch den Sommelier, der uns wundervolle Neuentdeckungen beschert hat. Alles in allem ein toller Abend!

I am proud as a Turkish citizen, he promotes the country more than many people and receives much appreciation. Except for us, the majority were German and one Spanish group. How can a food group be interpreted so beautifully? Isn't there something missing from this dish? I recommend it to those who say they are gourmets in Türkiye, they should try it. I can say that the food prices are the same as in Türkiye, you do not have the chance to eat their appetizers in Turkey.
