Amazing food, friendly staff, good vibes!

The food, the staff, the service, everything was great. And the price-performance ratio was excellent. It's a real pleasure to sit here and enjoy the delicious food.

We thoroughly enjoyed a delicious pizza and fresh salad here. The flavors were pure and well matched, with a crispy base and fresh ingredients. Friendly service and a relaxed atmosphere made it complete. Definitely recommended if you are in the area!

A nice Italian restaurant where pasta and pizzas are also made gluten-free. Gluten-free pizza Aurora was delicious. The staff was very attentive, the service was fast.

They have (or had) a „dubai-chocolat tiramisu“ that is simply fantastic. Overall food is also great, and workers are very nice!

It was our first time there. Unfortunately, the waiter was extremely annoyed and unfriendly. We had to wait a long time to even get a table, even though it was very quiet. We won't be going back to this restaurant.

Despite the restaurant being full, Mr. Olsi (name tag) allowed us to sit in the garden. We received excellent service and enjoyed four courses with great pleasure.

The restaurant is located in a quiet part of town and offers high-quality food. Courteous service and very reasonable prices. I recommend it.

All the dishes were very satisfying. The Bolognese was not heavy, had a refreshing taste, and was easy to eat. The Neapolitan pizza was more filling than it looked, and was very satisfying! The olives were not too strong, and the anchovy fish was spicy, making it a great match with alcohol. For drinks, I was surprised at how delicious the lemonade beer was. The bitterness typical of beer was not too strong, and the refreshing, pop-like sweetness was addictive. The Dubai Chocolate Tiramisu for dessert was very sweet and delicious! The staff were also very friendly! The bill came to about 45 euros (about 7,600 yen) for two people to share dessert, drinks, pasta, and pizza. It was a very satisfying dinner in terms of both taste and value for money!

Excellent pasta, panzerotti and pizza in a great location.

We spontaneously went there for dinner in the evening with two small children; a glass for the little one was warmed up within minutes. Spaghetti and pasta dish were very tasty. The service was as expected, uncomplicated and attentive. Thanks.

We ate there last week on our visit to Rothenburg. The pizzas and lasagna were very tasty, but the pasta dishes were quite lacking. The service is not very friendly.

Nun, ich bin etwas zwiegespalten. Die Bergüssung war herzlich und erfreulich. Der Service war ebenfalls speditiv und freundlich. Meine Vorspeise, gratinierte Jakobsmuscheln, weitere Muscheln gratiniert und Shrimps war leider nicht zufriedenstellend. Die Shrimps waren wirklich lecker. Die gratinierten Jakobsmuscheln und weiteren Muscheln leider nicht. Kalt 🥶 und von gratiniert leider keine Spur. Der Caprese meiner Frau war gut, aber dass man nach Öl und Balsamico fragen muss, sollte nicht sein. Dafür haben die selbstgemachten Teigwaren mit Steinpilzfüllung und Trüffel alle Erwartungen übertroffen. Die sind schlicht brillant, himmlisch, fantastisch, unglaublich lecker - einfach der Hammer. Aus diesem Grund empfehle ich allen, geht hin und probiert die Teigwaren, Ihr werdet jubilieren!

The Italian food here is of the highest order. We enjoyed tomatoes capresi—I’ve never tasted them so fresh. Then a delicious lasagne with salmon and asparagus kept me savoring each bite. Feeling decadent, we finished with an extraordinary chocolate soufflé. And the service was impeccable—professional , helpful, friendly, and willing to assist us with English when necessary. It’s also in a beautiful, romantic setting. I was shocked to step outside and find that I suddenly was back in Germany.

Highly recommended. Very friendly service and great food! Prices are fair for the quality and there is a lot of variety. They even sang a song for my mother’s birthday! Will visit again! One thing I would recommend is perhaps some bread and olive oil as people wait for food.

Nice place to eat in RodT. Stays open during afternoon. Close to one of the main city gates. No local but good Italian food. Service is OK on courtesy and attention on different languages. We have tried the tomato and legume soups and the Quattro estagione pizza and they were both ok

Very nice restaurant with friendly service and excellent Italian cuisine. We were lucky enough to get a table for four people without a reservation. But I would always recommend making a reservation because you can't miss out on such good food. Thank you very much for the wonderful evening.

Very good restaurant, prices are reasonable for the tourist town of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. Of course you have to order seats in advance, otherwise you won't get a seat.

I invited my husband to Michelangelo for his birthday and we didn't regret it. We were very enthusiastic about the food. We had bruschetta as a starter. It was very good. For the main course my husband had pizza with mussels and seafood. He really enjoyed the pizza. I had pork fillet with gorgonzola sauce, walnuts and butter tagliatelle, which was really great. I would order it again. For dessert I had tonka bean cream on fruity apple compote and roasted almonds. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The restaurant looks very elegant and radiates a pleasant warmth. If we come back to Rothenburg, we will definitely go to Michelangelo again. You should definitely book in advance, otherwise it will be difficult to get a seat.

We arrived late in the city and went out for dinner. We arrived at the restaurant at 9:15 pm and were told that the restaurant would close at 10 pm, and that only one glass of wine would be available…. We ordered pasta bolognese, which was lacking in salt; carbonara, which was good; and lasagna, which was good. Due to the time, we were only able to have one glass of wine. Dessert was out of the question. The waiter who served us at the end was actually nice. But we were in a hurry and couldn’t even eat half of it. Photos of the January 2025 menu.

Ein tolles Restaurant mit wunderbaren Essen und netten Bedienungen.

Restaurant Michelangelo is a delicious Italian restaurant. The interior is spacious and comfortable. When you sit down, the boss will turn on the small table lamp, which makes it even more romantic. We came here on 11/19/2024 and two of us ordered APEROL VANILLA SPRITZ, Bitter Lemon, Vegetable soup, Panzerotti ripieni di funghi porcini al burro e zucchine, guarniti, Spaghetti Mixed Seafood. Aperol is a nice drink, but I prefer Bitter Lemon. The vegetable soup is delicious, very fresh and sweet. The pasta is really delicious, the seafood is fresh and tasty, and the noodles have a solid texture. If you have the opportunity to visit Rothenburg, you should not miss this Italian restaurant.

I did enjoy my visit, service and food.

We had reserved a table. An older couple without a reservation was in the restaurant before us and invited themselves to sit at the table with us because they didn't want to wait until something became available. "You can share the table" - so much for a romantic dinner for two ( wedding anniversary) 😅 The waitress was also perplexed when the man said that, just like me. Unfortunately I missed the moment to reject it. Now we sat there. Everyone almost silent at the table. Then a table became available (after we all had an appetizer) and the waitress told the couple they could now change tables. The man actually said "No, that's fine" 😭 she then said again "Another table is free. Let's let the young people sit here alone". They then went to the other table. Another waiter later said to us, “Now you have peace and quiet” - everyone was perfectly able to read the atmosphere ❤️ Now about the food We had the bruschetta (2 larger slices) for the two of us - alone plus the main menu it might have been a bit too much in my opinion Wonderful taste 👍🏽 A pizza spaghetti bolognese And my highlight is the tiramisu! I haven't found such a great restaurant in a long time. Unfortunately we were only here for one night. But we will definitely eat here again on our next visit Thanks to all the restaurant employees ❤️

Six of us went, the pumpkin tortellini was just good, the duck dish interesting, the rigatoni was good, the bolognese ok, the carbonara unfortunately one of the worst we ate, they probably cut the egg, the spaghetti was muddy.... What can we say about the pizza with the hard cut egg and the white cookie-like dough? The crème bourlé is very good. Disappointment after the comments we read. Overpriced we'd say

We recently went to Restaurant Michelangelo, and it was definitely worth our time and money! When we entered we were kindly seated by a very nice waiter. The place looked amazing and had a great overall atmosphere. It had a fancy, cozy and professional look. The food was brought relatively quick, and it tasted amazing at a reasonable price. Our waiter was nice and friendly just like the other people working there. It is a place definitely worth visiting. A great Italian restaurant you don’t want to miss out on.

We were at Michelangelo on Sunday and today. The food was very finely tuned, very tasteful, beautifully presented, the service was very friendly. Perfect all round and can be recommended.

Unfortunately we didn't make a reservation and still got a place for about 1 hour. The food was super tasty and quick. Super great service, extremely friendly staff. Absolute recommendation. We shared the starter of beef carpaccio with buffalo mozzarella. Then ordered a pizza and a calzone. Great pizza dough! For dessert there was a tiramisu and a Dubai chocolate inspired tiramisu, both very tasty and beautifully presented. If we come to Rothenburg again we will definitely make reservations in good time. By the way, dogs are also welcome here, but it can be a bit cramped in places with large dogs. As a precaution, we didn't have the Bernese and the mixed breed with us.
