Eiscafé-Pizzeria Italia in Rothenburg ob der Tauber

I left the restaurant upset. My girlfriend paid for my drink and dessert. I was charged again because there was no interest in clarification on the part of the service. I think the pizza is too salty. The ground was soggy.

I had some beers with my friends here. Nice Italian restaurant. Next time I'll have some good pizzas too!

The restaurant itself is cozy and the service was good. The tomato sauce did not come. We were in Venice in the summer, so it didn't even come close. The pizza was delicious and so was the tortellini.

Stopped here for dinner tonight while in town and were super satisfied with the service. Our party of 9 was accommodated even though we had no reservation, the food came out super fast, the service was great. Kid friendly and very welcoming.

The restaurant is in a great location, typical Italian dishes, pizza and pasta. Pizzas are really cheap. We paid less than €60 for lunch for 4 people with pizza

We ended up here after having a disappointing dinner somewhere else. From the start, it has been a great surprise! The atmosphere is genuine italian, unpretentious, and welcoming. The owner, the waiters and the guy behind the bar were so nice! Even if we had dinner previously, we decided to try a pizza, and it was WOOOWWW! Also have in mind, that they serve dinner till 9.30 pm wich is very late for local standards. Highly recommend!!!!

We enjoyed a wonderful dinner here. The pizza was the best we've had outside Italy. Attentive server. Highly recommended. Try to identify the entertainers in their mural. They seem to all be Americans (and not of Italian descent), with the exception of the figure on the far right. Gerard Depardieu??

Best pizza quality, the base stays crispy until you eat it. Friendly and fast service and there is Plose water, one of the best! The desserts in the display case also looked delicious. Centrally located in the middle of medieval Rothenburg, not far from the Christmas Museum. Gladly again!

Italian food is good, but German dishes are less so

We were there for dinner yesterday with 6 people. Even though the store was packed, the service was friendly and on point. Drinks came promptly and food came quickly too. The pasta was very tasty. Definitely a great price too. We will definitely come back on our next visit to Rothenburg

The Eiscafé-Pizzeria Italia restaurant pleasantly surprised us with its excellent service, even serving our group of 14 people at the last minute. The staff were very attentive and friendly, and the high quality food was delicious. Without a doubt, it is a place that we would recommend for its hospitality and exquisite dishes.

Enjoyed the delicious “Bosco” salad and Pizza Mare. Italy in Rotenburg at the anniversary march 750 years of the city of Rothenburg o d T. We'll come back here!

The food here is very tasty and the service (Talal Abokat) is very helpful and nice. For the first time I had such a delicious calzone. We will definitely come back.

The price is OK, the portion of spaghetti Bolognese (it could have been cooked longer and seasoned more) is just enough to fill you up. Taste: OK. The atmosphere is nice and the service is very friendly. The waiting time is reasonable.

Our experience at Eiscafe-Pizzeria Italia was very disappointing. The pizza was a big disappointment: too much tomato sauce, factory-made cheese and even mold on my girlfriend's artichoke. In addition, the restaurant was full of flies, which made the food very unpleasant. Despite the Italian owners, the quality absolutely did not meet expectations. Urgent improvement is needed in terms of ingredients and hygiene. I don't recommend this place. It seemed more like a tourist trap than an authentic experience.

Bad, very bad! We had two fruit cups and the fruit in both was chipped and old. Something like that doesn't work! The fact that the two ice cream sundaes were very carelessly prepared fits into the picture. The service is so la la. I definitely won't go there again.

Food seemed great. Ambience quite inviting. But we weren't allowed to make our 6:00 p.m. reservation because the 7:00 p.m. reservation for the same table came at 6:00 p.m. So we were sent away. Badly organized

A nice little restaurant where you can sit outside and relax after a strenuous visit to Rothenburg. The staff here is extremely friendly and competent!

The main value of this catering establishment is its price! Yes, the waiter forgets to bring salt and pepper, yes, there is an incomprehensible siesta until 17.00, yes, it cannot be said that the dishes have an exquisite taste. But! All this outweighs the price of dishes! Only 20-25 euros per person! For Germany this is a gift! And the place has a certain charm.

Excellent service from Talal. Very friendly and attentive, has an open ear for everyone, serves high-quality, delicious oil specialties with your meal. The Limocello is also incredibly tasty and is made in-house. From our seat we could look through the hatch into the kitchen. There is constant tidying and cleaning there. The food that comes out all looks very tasty and is immediately brought to the guests. The boss bakes the pizzas herself, she came to our table towards the end of the evening and knew exactly what we had to eat. A very personal restaurant, nothing off the shelf, no quick turnarounds, but the focus is on the guest and all their wishes. It couldn't be better, hence 5 stars from us.

Well, I don't know where the "tastes really delicious" reviews come from, maybe it's a bad day. To be honest, pizza had little taste. Neither good nor bad, rather fairly neutral. It was very reminiscent of the Pizza Rustico from the refrigerated section, both in terms of taste, size and bite. Pasta (Pomodoro and Carbonara) standard, bruschette with spread from the jar. All food came within 5 minutes, even with a preheated pizza oven that's quick, unless everything is already prepared. But the price is okay for what is on offer

The ice cream is expensive and is of poor quality, never again

We went there 3 evenings in a row because it tasted so delicious. Both pizza and pasta were very good. The staff is also very friendly. Price-performance is great. If we go on vacation to Rothenburg again, we already know where we will eat.

Great Italian food and good wines with good service

Didn't expect this meal to be so disappointing, we ordered stir-fried pasta, ravioli and an arugula salad. It can only be said that none of them reached the average level. The pasta was super hard and lacked flavor, the tortellini had only a tiny bit of filling and was very hard due to starch, and tasted like frozen food that had just been heated. I really doubt where these good reviews come from. It can be regarded as the biggest disappointment of this trip. The price seems quite cheap at first glance, but after actually eating it, I feel like I have been scammed.

Our waiter Talat was amazingly friendly. We were surprised that he and then Luca, as sommelier, had a great understanding of wine pairing to food. Our lunch became an unexpected and impromptu wine and good food journey. We absolutely loved it! Very reasonably priced for what you get in an incredible setting of Rothenburg.

Wir sind bereits das 4te mal bei diesem Italiener zum Essen gewesen. Jedes Mal sind wir von der frische und dem Geschmack begeistert. Egal ob Pizza oder Pasta alles übersteigt unsere Erwartungen. Das Lokal selbst ist etwas laut und eng aber das gehört zum Feeling Italiens dazu und macht das Lokal noch authentischer. Das Essen kommt trotz vollem Laden sehr schnell an den Tisch. Der Service ist sehr freundlich aber nicht aufdringlich und es versucht alle Wünsche zu erfüllen. Wir empfehlen einen Tisch vorab zu reservieren! Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!!!

Rude staff. Good ice cream. I ordered some ice cream and sat outside at their table. I was told to get up and leave because I was not allowed to eat there. I said I just ordered from them and they said "No" and shut the door on me.

By far the best and most consistent service we’ve received in Germany after trying 20+ restaurants across Frankfurt, Heidelberg, and Rothenburg. We met, Luca, the proprietor. He has built a great team. Excellent service from Talal, Fausto, and Mehtap on three separate visits. Very attentive but not intrusive. The pizza is delightful, salads are fresh, and the pasta is delicious. Eiscafe’-Pizzeria Italia gets our highest recommendation if you have plans to be in Rothenburg. Enjoy!

В этом кафе хорошее только его расположение(( еда невкусная, паста с морепродуктами очень воняла водорослями, и постоянно попадались Усы креветок, креветка была одна и полностью в скорлупе и с головой ((( вторая паста болоньезе более менее( апероль очень крепкий на вкус, бокал был неполный и в нем было два огромных куска льда, то есть напитка там совсем чуть чуть( официант неприветливый, такой ощущение что он нам делал огромные одолжение. В общем до Италии им очень далеко и по сервису и особенно по вкусу блюд, не рекомендую

Das Restaurant liegt sehr zentral an einer nicht viel befahrenen Straße. Habe spontan einen Tisch bekommen. Hatte Bruschetta e olio und eine Pizza quattro formaggi gegessen, dazu einen Aperol Spritz und Hauswein. Es war alles sehr gut.
