My wife set up a wonderful little eight day trip along the Romantic Road with our first stop being in the magical city of Rothenburg ob der Tauber. After having drinks on the square, my wife and I walked around a bit more trying to find the perfect spot for dinner. We found this quaint little Greek/Mediterranean place hiding in the corner of the square just behind the church. The owner was friendly and made some great suggestions and advising us that we had ordered enough food as we were about to add another plate. Thank goodness for that as he was right. With the two dishes we ordered, we had plenty of food and wine. Everything was prepared perfectly and delicious. We split a perfect mixed tapas plate with a tomato and cucumber salad, Kalamata olives, Greek meatballs, pepperoncini, eggplant, and tzatziki with bread. The lightly fried calamari with French fries and tzatziki was outstanding. Proud to put this place on the map. Now, go enjoy!!!

Food is delicious and garlic naan is ultimate. Staff is attentive and friendly. A must visit place if you are in Rothenburg.

First of all, would we come back? - Of course ☺️ It was our first time to spend the night at the Bayrischer Hof, but we have been to Rothenburg several times. The small family-run house surprised us with a cozy room, the staff is consistently friendly and in the evening we met with local friends in the restaurant, the latter was also quite convincing and stood out with its freshness and homemade food 😊. So we can say, we look forward to seeing you again and until then stay one Good bye, Philipp, Franzi and dog Aki

Excellent service, kind, friendly waiters and services. Excellent food, nice atmosphere. Everything you would expect from a restaurant. Although a Mexican restaurant, it is also very suitable for those who do not speak Spanish...

Best German food in ALL of Germany. Steven, the owner, is also the Chef, Host and Waiter. Food is amazing, ambience is as cute as it gets. Don't let the fact that it is on a side street fool you. Only keeps the crowd down

Nice hotel in a very good location in the old town, unbeatable price. The hosts were friendly, helpful and always interested in whether everything was okay. The room was completely sufficient for me alone and was in good condition despite its age ("old charm" ;-), I personally like that very much). The hotel is centrally located (but quiet) in the old town and it is just a few minutes walk to the market square, the Plönlein, restaurants and cafés as well as the city wall (the hotel also has an Indian restaurant). Shopping options are also within walking distance. For the affordable price, this is certainly unique accommodation in Rothenburg. Unfortunately there was temporarily (!) no breakfast, but that wasn't a problem, there are many cafes within walking distance (you can have an excellent breakfast in particular at the Striffler Bakery). Overall, everything was satisfactory and I can recommend the hotel. If you're looking for luxury, there are certainly plenty of more expensive alternatives in Rothenburg, but if you're happy with the bare essentials and want to save your budget, you should be able to spend a few days here. I felt comfortable here.

I think their pastas are really good but my pizza was, sorry to say it, pretty disappointing. And also pretty expensive. I paid for 18€ for pizza with porcini and arugula and it’s a little bit too salty. (Moreover I just had a very good pizza somewhere three days ago with Salmon and argula and it only costs 10,5€) I recommend to go for the pasta! But the service was really nice 👍

I know you're making a real effort and you're very nice, but you can't serve this as a restaurant or charge money for it. Please hire a chef. Just because you draw two-color mayo patterns over the plate doesn't make it any better In detail: Bread & butter at the front. The butter was literally completely covered in seasoned salt. Inedible. As a “greeting from the kitchen” a cold beetroot soup. Watery, bland, without any spices or other ingredients. The beef fillet was ok in terms of meat quality, but completely drowned in sauce and two-tone mayonaise!!!!!, (How can you put mayo on a fillet steak???) The spinach was also swimming in the sauce, the carrots were from the can separately . Guys, I swear, I couldn't eat it, I just couldn't. It's never happened to me before. My wife felt the same way. We then quickly said goodbye and wrote off the almost EUR 90 for two people. I still had a stomach ache the whole next day. If any restaurant ever deserved Frank Rosin to come. It would be you. I wish it for you. Until then, please don't try any magic kitchen, just schnitzel fries. You can do that even without training Anyone who doesn't want to believe it. Your own fault.
