Very good pasta. The chef serves in a very personal, informal way. Great atmosphere.

Wow—what a welcoming host, a great cook, and fantastic food—from the salad to the pasta to the pizza to the semifredo, simply superb. From the warm welcome to the delicate flavors of the dishes to the espresso, we left the restaurant happy after a few minutes of chatting with Giuseppe. Thank you, mile.

Small restaurant with attentive owners. We initially selected it for the location and were pleasantly surprised. I don’t like handing out superlatives, but the exotic salad may be the best salad I’ve ever had. I never would have thought to mix papaya, mango, pesto, burrata…but wish I had. I haven’t even tried to replicate because I prefer the unblemished memory of it.

My girlfriend and I ate at this restaurant. Initially, we wanted pizza, and then, following the owner's advice, we tried the pasta. It's truly homemade, just as he told us, the flavor is exceptional. Well done, well done, and still well done. Giuseppe is a true guarantee of Made in Italy in Germany.

During the peak season in mid-August, there's no service at 7:45 p.m. Germany is a service desert, or rather, closed due to wealth.

We made a reservation in advance, which I would definitely recommend :) The food here is really good; we had pizza, and it was delicious. We haven't had such a good one in a long time. It's important to note that you can only pay in cash. We felt comfortable there and received a really friendly welcome. The tiramisu was also great. We left very satisfied; we had no complaints.

The menu changes every day with a good mix of standards and special creations. All the pasta dishes are delicious, and whenever I'm on vacation in the area, a visit here is always a must. The appetizers are also very good! But: It's best to make a reservation well in advance! Even as a single diner, I only managed to get a table by luck and thanks to the owner's friendly approach, as it wasn't available for another hour. There would hardly have been room for more people on the spur of the moment.

The staff, the owner is very arrogant. If you are with kids then good luck. They may not want to serve you. Very unfriendly, immature, unprofessional behaviour. The place is also not so cozy.

Very disappointing experience. The staff, including the restaurant owner, were extremely rude and impatient. As soon as we arrived we had the feeling of being unwanted. The waiter urged us to order even though the menu was confusing and unclear. Instead of giving help, all that was done was hurry up. This is not how you should treat guests - there is clearly a lack of hospitality and respect here.

A very nice little restaurant in the heart of Rothenburg. You can enjoy really good Italian cuisine here right in the pedestrian zone. The homemade pasta is highly recommended. It was really delicious, especially with the fresh Bolognese sauce. The pizza is also very good and garlic oil is available, which isn't very common around here. The salad dressing was one of the best I've ever had. I'm not a salad eater but this one blew me away. Decor is nice and modern. The only thing that bothered me was that there isn't much space in this restaurant. It was pretty tight which is not for me personally. But that's complaining at a high level. It is and remains a great restaurant.

This restaurant is an absolute insider tip in Rothenburg! We were immediately welcomed and felt very comfortable. There are fresh pasta dishes with homemade noodles every day, and the offer changes daily. The pizza is also made fresh and can be topped according to your own wishes. We were thrilled with the taste and we were also impressed by the selection of drinks. Special praise to the host Giuseppe, who was warm, personable and extremely accommodating! A truly beautiful restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. What's particularly impressive is that you can see how the dishes are freshly prepared – true Italian craftsmanship is at your fingertips. The pizza comes straight from the stone oven, and the ragù al forno is made with great attention to detail. A place where you feel at home and will gladly return!

If it were possible, I would give 100 stars! This is the best Italian restaurant in the region and possibly the best Italian restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of dining at.

Super nice boss, great pasta and great creations that I have never seen before. Each pasta dish is prepared fresh and individually. The portions were also very good and delicious! Any time. A tip: It's best to call and reserve in advance. Even in mid-February (ok, it was Valentine's Day weekend) it was filled to capacity!

Mhhhh....nice owners, but pasta is highly overrated and way overpriced. Our Pasta was overcooked and salty. At prices of around 20 euros you expect something special, but nothing special here, neither the pasta itself, nor the sauces. Too bad, had high hopes after reading the fantastic reviews here. Maybe just a bad day? Possibly. But since the sauces were not that great either, it's unlikely. And at these prices, we won't try it out another time. My invitées were quite disappointed as well. But I am okay, at least we tried it. Looks good from the outside

I think their pastas are really good but my pizza was, sorry to say it, pretty disappointing. And also pretty expensive. I paid for 18€ for pizza with porcini and arugula and it’s a little bit too salty. (Moreover I just had a very good pizza somewhere three days ago with Salmon and argula and it only costs 10,5€) I recommend to go for the pasta! But the service was really nice 👍

Best Italian restaurant in town! Part of the menu changes regularly and only fresh ingredients are used.

We had two different pizzas. You choose the ingredients you want and it is freshly prepared. They were extremely crispy and tasted a culinary highlight. What is irritating is the self-service and the fact that payment is only possible in cash. I would also like it if the store was bigger as it was a bit cramped. A suggestion for the owner would be that there should be a list of possible pizza toppings.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food this is the place to go. I got the bruschetta and pasta Al ragout. There is only the owner and another woman (I think his wife but I don’t want to assume), and they do an amazing job. This place is only cash so be prepared, but if you need an ATM there is one around the corner to use. Overall 10/10

Very intimate little place! We dined in but at a table with self service. I appreciate very much what the owner did with this place! You can see he is really passionate about his food! What can one say about a small Italian restaurant with a limited menu and very limited wine list and cash only. The best fresh pasta I ever had! Incredible job of the couple running the show just by themselves. Not to be missed. More than recommended..

What a fabulous Neal! We arrived right before opening time and the owner went through every entree explaining what each one was. My husband got the pasta arrabiata and I got the ragout al forno. Both were incredible! The pasta was so fresh and the sauce was fabulous! The owners are wonderful and so nice! Check this place out for a wonderful meal!

Absolutely delicious homemade pasta in a small and cozy restaurant. If you want to come at peak time, do book a table in advance. Hosts are super kind and attentive, however be aware that it is currently self-service as the owner had an accident and cannot lift dishes etc.

Unsere Pastagerichte waren sehr lecker. Die Speisekarte wechselt wöchentlich. Pizzen können nach eigenem Wunsch belegt werden. Der Service war sehr herzlich und aufmerksam. Die Preise sind etwas höher, aber für selbstgemachte Pasta definitiv angemessen.

My wife and I wanted to eat something Italian and found this place. Really good food and the service, though not speedy, was very friendly. We shared Bruschetta and pizza with two Aperol Spritz for €42.

Petit restaurant convivial et charmant. Délicieuse cuisine italienne goûteuse et "fait-maison" avec carte qui change régulièrement. Le patron, d'origine sicilienne, est dévoué et très sympathique. The service and food were absolutely top notch. Here the guest is still king. The wishes were taken into account both with the drinks and the food. You can taste that it is homemade and only fresh ingredients are used. A little tip, be sure to reserve.

The food is really good here. Pizza's are prepared on demand, just say want you want as toppings, pasta's are also really tasty. the reason I only give three stars is that they allow dogs in here, what I find unacceptable for a restaurant; I doubt that's even legal, for hygienic reasons.

Then I looked at the map and noticed an almost 400km detour 🫣 no matter...if the food is really that good, it's worth it. This restaurant has very reasonable pricing and delicious food. When you enter the store, you will be shown to your seat. The interior is stylish and the service from the male staff is very good. Some of the menus are in Japanese, so it is designed to be friendly to tourists who are visiting Rothenburg for the first time. There were various types of pasta, from daily specials to orthodox ones, and there was also pizza. Drinks ranged from beer to non-alcoholic drinks. The price was about 20€ per person for pasta and beer. It was a very nice shop. If I have a chance to visit Rothenburg again, I would definitely like to come back.

Great little Italian restaurant. The noodles are all homemade! You can definitely taste it. There are always changing pasta dishes with unusual combinations. The dessert is also super delicious! One of the best Italian restaurants in Rothenburg. Price-wise it's a little more expensive, but the quality is great and you get real Italian food prepared with a lot of amore ♥️. The restaurant itself is not that big, so it's best to reserve in advance. Or order the food to be picked up. The owner and the staff are very friendly and make the visit an experience.

The food was consistently outstanding. The bruschetta was super tasty with the fresh tomatoes and the perfectly toasted bread. The homemade tiramisu was completely convincing and was the icing on the cake for the evening. The innkeeper and his wife are so lovely and accommodating and create a really warm atmosphere. We are looking forward to our next visit while we are still sitting at the table. P.S. I would definitely recommend making a reservation 3-4 days in advance.

Das Essen ist eine 9 von 10, aber was das Gastgebersein anbetrifft ist hier definitiv sehr viel Luft nach oben. Ich habe lange überlegt ob ich jemandem den Raum geben soll bei dem man sich la Gast nicht willkommen fühlt, aber das Essen ist es wert gelobt zu werden.

Colazione fantastica, prezzo onestissimo, ho bevuto uno dei cappuccini più buoni di vita mia, molto meglio di tanti fatti in Italia. Consigliatissimo.

Perfekte frische Pasta, wie in Italien... Besser geht's eigentlich nicht. Pasta Arrabiata ist tatsächlich die beste, die ich jemals gegessen habe. Heute schwarze Pasta vom Sepia genossen. Ein Gedicht! Kinderfreundliches kleines Lokal. Ohne Reservierung quasi unmöglich einen Platz zu bekommen (kein Wunder bei der Qualität des Essens). Super netter italienischer Inhaber. Top!!!!
