Ich habe Nudeln mit gelben Dattel-Tomaten gegessen. Die waren einfach spitze. Als allein reisende, hat man sich toll um mich gekümmert. Danke 😊

Der Besitzer ist angenehm nett. Das Essen war super lecker. Wir hatten uns an einem 6er Tisch zu einem Pärchen gesetzt, daher hatten wir auch noch tolle Gespräche mit 2 netten Menschen. Alles in allem ein runder Abend 🤩

Wir betraten das Restaurant mit der Absicht, ein Glas Wein und eine Kleinigkeit zu essen. Statt begrüßt zu werden, wurden wir aufgefordert zu gehen, da es sich nicht um eine Kneipe handele. Das Gespräch mit dem Besitzer war so ungewöhnlich, dass wir lächelten und gingen. Es gab freie Tische und Gäste beim Abendessen; wir sprachen Deutsch und fragten höflich nach. So etwas hatten wir in Deutschland noch nie erlebt. Zum Glück landeten wir dann in einer traditionellen deutschen Kneipe namens Ratsstube, etwa 150 Meter entfernt, wo gerade ein Fest stattfand, und verbrachten dort eine tolle Zeit. Vielen Dank an den Besitzer, dass er uns hinausbegleitet hat! Als wir den Einheimischen in der Ratsstube von unserer Erfahrung erzählten, meinten alle, dass die Einheimischen dieses italienische Restaurant meiden.

Das Restaurant ist eine Bruchbude. Der Besitzer ist furchtbar! Der Service ist nicht vorhanden! Logik sucht man hier vergebens!

Sehr nette und zuvorkommende Bedienung. Mega leckeres Essen mit selbst gemachten Nudeln. Das Ambiente ist ebenso mega.

Die Qualität des Essens ist sehr gut, aber am Ende des Abends mussten wir mehr als 10 Minuten nach dem Abendessen warten, bis jemand zu uns kam, und dann wurde uns nur mitgeteilt, dass es nicht möglich sei, Kaffee oder ein Getränk zu bestellen, da die Küche bereits geschlossen sei.

Es ist ein sehr schönes Lokal mit zuvorkommend und freundlichen Service. Der Chef bedient und die Chefin kocht: beide sind mit ganzen Herzen dabei. Hier fühlt man sich wohl. Das Essen ist frisch und schmeckt wirklich sehr gut. Wenn wir in Rothenburg essen gehen, dann hier!

Eines der besten italienischen Restaurants, in denen ich je war. Der supernette Besitzer, selbst Italiener, kümmert sich um alles. Das Essen wird direkt vor den Augen der Gäste zubereitet. Absolut köstlich.

Tolles, kleines Restaurant mit leckerem Essen

Dieses Restaurant ist völlig zurecht die Nr. 1 auf Tripadvisor, weil es super lecker ist, alles frisch gemacht (Nudeln per Hand) und das Ambiente toll ist sowie der Service sehr zuvorkommend. Bei jedem Rothenburg Besuch reservieren wir da vorab einen Tisch, da das Lokal recht klein ist, d.h. eine Reservierung vorher ist sicherlich relevant. Frische, hausgemachte Küche: Die Nudeln und Pizzen sind super lecker und alle von Hand gemacht. Man direkt zuschauen, wie die Zubereitung erfolgt (alles transparent). Wenn eine Sorte aus ist, da die vorbereiteten Teige aus sind, gibt es sie halt nicht mehr. Preis-Leistung: Absolute Top Qualität zu angemessenen Preisen. Die Portionen sind groß, so dass man definitiv satt wird. Service: Der Chef und die Chefin sind hier selbst aktiv in der Küche und im Service und immer nett, zuvorkommend, bei Fragen helfend und machen auch hier und da Späße mit den Gästen. Hier wird Willkommenskultur groß gelebt. Ambiente: Sehr schön eingerichtet, typisch Italienisch. Sehr bequeme Sitzbänke und Stühle und immer eine schöne, jahreszeitorientiert Dekoration. Man hat durch das offene Format (in die Küche schauend) das Gefühl mittendrin zu sein in einer typisch italienischen Familienküche. Definitiv eine TOP Empfehlung zu 100%!

We walked in and it was full. The waiter or owner told us it was full and shared it was a 15min wait. We waited for about 25mins. When a seat was available, he told us that the kitchen was closed. Disappointing experience. He could have told us earlier and we would have found an alternative place.

After ordering our food, we said we didn't want to drink anything, and the person serving us, who I imagine was the owner, simply kicked us out, saying, "This is a restaurant; if you don't want to drink, you don't eat." He was very rude and disrespectful. The restaurant was empty. We saw the same thing happen to a young man at the next table.

There were three of us, we ordered three pasta dishes, and when we indicated that we didn't want to drink anything, we were kicked out by the owner, who told us that if we didn't order drinks, we wouldn't get any food. We left because of the lack of care and disrespect. Terrible service.

Even though the restaurant is small and unassuming with relatively limited menu, the food was so so good. Every dish we ordered was nice. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that this was the nicest italian meal we've had!

Even without a reservation, we were assigned a table. The pasta was homemade, as was the fresh tomato and basil sauce. The flavors were a highlight, and the service was friendly and attentive. A very nice restaurant, where the kitchen creates magic. A definite recommendation. One small downside: Payment is cash only.

Wow—what a welcoming host, a great cook, and fantastic food—from the salad to the pasta to the pizza to the semifredo, simply superb. From the warm welcome to the delicate flavors of the dishes to the espresso, we left the restaurant happy after a few minutes of chatting with Giuseppe. Thank you, mile.

Small restaurant with attentive owners. We initially selected it for the location and were pleasantly surprised. I don’t like handing out superlatives, but the exotic salad may be the best salad I’ve ever had. I never would have thought to mix papaya, mango, pesto, burrata…but wish I had. I haven’t even tried to replicate because I prefer the unblemished memory of it.

My girlfriend and I ate at this restaurant. Initially, we wanted pizza, and then, following the owner's advice, we tried the pasta. It's truly homemade, just as he told us, the flavor is exceptional. Well done, well done, and still well done. Giuseppe is a true guarantee of Made in Italy in Germany.

During the peak season in mid-August, there's no service at 7:45 p.m. Germany is a service desert, or rather, closed due to wealth.

We made a reservation in advance, which I would definitely recommend :) The food here is really good; we had pizza, and it was delicious. We haven't had such a good one in a long time. It's important to note that you can only pay in cash. We felt comfortable there and received a really friendly welcome. The tiramisu was also great. We left very satisfied; we had no complaints.

The menu changes every day with a good mix of standards and special creations. All the pasta dishes are delicious, and whenever I'm on vacation in the area, a visit here is always a must. The appetizers are also very good! But: It's best to make a reservation well in advance! Even as a single diner, I only managed to get a table by luck and thanks to the owner's friendly approach, as it wasn't available for another hour. There would hardly have been room for more people on the spur of the moment.

The staff, the owner is very arrogant. If you are with kids then good luck. They may not want to serve you. Very unfriendly, immature, unprofessional behaviour. The place is also not so cozy.

Very disappointing experience. The staff, including the restaurant owner, were extremely rude and impatient. As soon as we arrived we had the feeling of being unwanted. The waiter urged us to order even though the menu was confusing and unclear. Instead of giving help, all that was done was hurry up. This is not how you should treat guests - there is clearly a lack of hospitality and respect here.

A very nice little restaurant in the heart of Rothenburg. You can enjoy really good Italian cuisine here right in the pedestrian zone. The homemade pasta is highly recommended. It was really delicious, especially with the fresh Bolognese sauce. The pizza is also very good and garlic oil is available, which isn't very common around here. The salad dressing was one of the best I've ever had. I'm not a salad eater but this one blew me away. Decor is nice and modern. The only thing that bothered me was that there isn't much space in this restaurant. It was pretty tight which is not for me personally. But that's complaining at a high level. It is and remains a great restaurant.

This restaurant is an absolute insider tip in Rothenburg! We were immediately welcomed and felt very comfortable. There are fresh pasta dishes with homemade noodles every day, and the offer changes daily. The pizza is also made fresh and can be topped according to your own wishes. We were thrilled with the taste and we were also impressed by the selection of drinks. Special praise to the host Giuseppe, who was warm, personable and extremely accommodating! A truly beautiful restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and friendly service. What's particularly impressive is that you can see how the dishes are freshly prepared – true Italian craftsmanship is at your fingertips. The pizza comes straight from the stone oven, and the ragù al forno is made with great attention to detail. A place where you feel at home and will gladly return!

If it were possible, I would give 100 stars! This is the best Italian restaurant in the region and possibly the best Italian restaurant I have ever had the pleasure of dining at.

Super nice boss, great pasta and great creations that I have never seen before. Each pasta dish is prepared fresh and individually. The portions were also very good and delicious! Any time. A tip: It's best to call and reserve in advance. Even in mid-February (ok, it was Valentine's Day weekend) it was filled to capacity!

Mhhhh....nice owners, but pasta is highly overrated and way overpriced. Our Pasta was overcooked and salty. At prices of around 20 euros you expect something special, but nothing special here, neither the pasta itself, nor the sauces. Too bad, had high hopes after reading the fantastic reviews here. Maybe just a bad day? Possibly. But since the sauces were not that great either, it's unlikely. And at these prices, we won't try it out another time. My invitées were quite disappointed as well. But I am okay, at least we tried it. Looks good from the outside

I think their pastas are really good but my pizza was, sorry to say it, pretty disappointing. And also pretty expensive. I paid for 18€ for pizza with porcini and arugula and it’s a little bit too salty. (Moreover I just had a very good pizza somewhere three days ago with Salmon and argula and it only costs 10,5€) I recommend to go for the pasta! But the service was really nice 👍

Best Italian restaurant in town! Part of the menu changes regularly and only fresh ingredients are used.

We had two different pizzas. You choose the ingredients you want and it is freshly prepared. They were extremely crispy and tasted a culinary highlight. What is irritating is the self-service and the fact that payment is only possible in cash. I would also like it if the store was bigger as it was a bit cramped. A suggestion for the owner would be that there should be a list of possible pizza toppings.

If you’re looking for authentic Italian food this is the place to go. I got the bruschetta and pasta Al ragout. There is only the owner and another woman (I think his wife but I don’t want to assume), and they do an amazing job. This place is only cash so be prepared, but if you need an ATM there is one around the corner to use. Overall 10/10

What a fabulous Neal! We arrived right before opening time and the owner went through every entree explaining what each one was. My husband got the pasta arrabiata and I got the ragout al forno. Both were incredible! The pasta was so fresh and the sauce was fabulous! The owners are wonderful and so nice! Check this place out for a wonderful meal!

Absolutely delicious homemade pasta in a small and cozy restaurant. If you want to come at peak time, do book a table in advance. Hosts are super kind and attentive, however be aware that it is currently self-service as the owner had an accident and cannot lift dishes etc.
