Gasthof Eulenstübchen in Rothenburg ob der Tauber

Wir waren im Eulenstübchen und waren rundum zufrieden. Ich hatte den Sauerbraten, der sehr zart war und richtig lecker geschmeckt hat – absolut empfehlenswert. Ein besonderes Lob geht an unsere Bedienung Elaine. Sie war sehr freundlich, aufmerksam und hat sich toll um uns gekümmert. So fühlt man sich als Gast willkommen. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Sehr gutes Jägerschnitzel und auch der Sauerbraten war sehr lecker gewesen. Jägersoße und Sauerbratensoße top! Man merkt das es mit Liebe gekocht war. Auch der Service sehr aufmerksam und freundlich. Danke an das Eulenstübchen Team für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Wir waren am 15.07.26 in diesem Restaurant mit 4 Personen essen. 3x Schnitzel und 1x Sauerbraten. Uns allen hat es nicht geschmeckt. Die Schnitzel waren hart, der Rotkohl war wässrig und überhaupt nicht abgeschmeckt. Während unseres Aufenthalts haben einige Gäste ihre Schnitzel zurückgegeben. Dies alles entspricht überhaupt nicht einer Gesamtbewertung von 4,7 .

Wir haben hier köstlich gegessen; das Schweinshaxensteak ist sehr zu empfehlen. Ein gemütliches Restaurant mit sehr freundlichem Service.

Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und konnten draußen gemütlich sitzen. Der Service war gut. Leider war das Schnitzel etwas enttäuschend; es war etwas zäh. Ehrlich gesagt haben wir auf unserer fünfwöchigen Reise schon schmackhaftere gegessen, obwohl wir nicht genau wissen, woran es lag. Vielleicht waren die Schnitzel früher aus Putenfleisch? Die Pommes und der Salat hingegen waren sehr lecker.

Wir waren heute dort essen und ich kann die Lobeshymnen, das es wie bei Oma schmeckt und alles selbst gekocht ist, leider nicht nachvollziehen. Meine Frau hatte Jägerschnitzel mit Spätzle. Die Spätzle waren auf gar keinen Fall selbstgemacht, die Jägersosse auch ein Fertigprodukt, das Schnitzel habe ich nicht probiert. Mein Sauerbraten schmeckte für einen selbstgemachten Sauerbraten zu neutral, das Blaukraut ist aus dem Glas und die Klöße ebenfalls ein Fertigprodukt. Von „alles“ selbstgekocht, Kilometerweit entfernt und für Fertigprodukte auch viel zu teuer. Ich bin gelernter Koch und weiß wie selbstgekocht schmeckt und aussieht. Entweder sind die Bewertungen, das alles selbst gemacht wäre, gekauft oder die Bewerter haben noch nie was selbstgekochtes gegessen, oder die Oma, die sonst gekocht hat, gibt es nicht mehr. Schade

Leckeres Essen, tolle Bedienung, super Küche

Unglaublich freundlicher Service, sehr gutes Essen in gemütlichem Ambiente! Obwohl der Gasthof schon sehr voll war, hat man versucht einen Platz für uns zu finden, auch unser Hund war willkommen. Das essen war frisch, lecker und reichlich. Draußen kann man sehr schnell die Zeit vergessen, so schön und ruhig ist es hier.

Ein tolles Restaurant. Ich war hier jeden Tag essen. Das Essen ist hausgemacht, wie von Oma. Keine Fertigprodukte wie in vielen anderen Restaurants. Die Portionen sind groß und super lecker. Mein Küchenequipment hab ich da ganz umsonst mit auf den Campingplatz genommen.

Wir sind mit der Wandergruppe Ü-70 im Eulenstübchen eingekehrt. Das Mittagessen war sehr gut und reichlich. Ebenso das Kaffeetrinken nach der Wanderung. Es wurden leckere Kuchen aufgetischt. Das Bedienungspersonal und das Serviceteam waren sehr freundlich. Gerne kommen wir wieder und möchten unsere vollste Zufriedenheit bestätigen.

Nettes kleines Lokal in ruhiger Lage. Gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Unkompliziert, gutes Essen, freundliche Atmosphäre. Empfehlenswert: Sauerkraut, hausgemachter Kartoffelsalat und Eis mit warmen Himbeeren.

Wir wurden sehr freundlich empfangen. Zum Essen hatten wir uns für ein Schnitzel mit Pommes und den Sauerbraten entschieden. Besser kann man nicht essen.

So lecker haben wir lange nicht mehr gegessen. Alles frisch zubereitet und rasch am Tisch. Freundlicher, aufmerksamer Service. Gerne kommen wir wieder.

Wir hatten ein privates Familien-Weihnachtstreffen und es wurde extra für uns früher geöffnet, sodass wir ganz unter uns waren. Alles fühlte sich sehr familiär an und auf jeden Extrawunsch wurde herzlich eingegangen. Die Kinder wurden mit einem Maltisch empfangen und das Essen und auch die Kuchen waren sehr lecker! Die Portionen waren groß und alles wurde schnell und gleichzeitig gebracht. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohl gefühlt und bedanken uns für den tollen Tag!

Ich kann die guten Bewertungen nicht nachvollziehen. Waren gestern dort und alles war alt und offenbar mehrfach gebraten oder frittiert worden. Hatten Schnitzel und Currywurst. Beides war unsagbar schlecht.

Wir waren im Dezember mit 15. Personen im Eulenstübchen zum Essen. Das Essen, vor allem der Sauerbraten,war sehr lecker. Die Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam. Wir können das Lokal nur weiter empfehlen.

Wir haben auf dem Campingplatz Tauberromantik einen kurzen Zwischenhalt auf dem Weg nach Hannover eingelegt. Das Eulenstübchen mit seinem sehr freundlichen Personal und dem guten Essen hat uns sehr gefallen! Lecker fränkische Küche direkt am Campingplatz.

Wir waren schon öfter in Rotenburg, hier aber tatsächlich zum ersten Mal und zufällig auf der Durchreise zu Gast. Meine Frau hatte Lust auf Käsespätzle, ich hatte gesehen, dass wir an Rotenburg vorbei kommen und aufgrund der guten Bewertungen sind wir dann zum Eulenstübchen gefahren. Zum Glück! Hier wird mit ganz viel Freude gearbeitet, das merkt man zu jeder Sekunde. Super netter Service der Enkelin und, wie sie uns erzählte, sehr SEHR leckere, Regionale Küche, die die Großeltern zubereiten. Man schmeckt ganz einfach, wie hier mit Liebe gekocht wird. Cozy restaurant, German (regional) cuisine at a fair price. You can choose your own side salad at the salad bar. Advance reservations are essential. Dog and child friendly. We'd be happy to return.

A very good inn at the Tauberromantik campsite. The waitresses are very friendly, the food is excellent, and the prices are reasonable.

The food there is incredibly delicious! Unfortunately, we only visited the restaurant on the last evening of our vacation, and I would have loved to stay another day just for that. The staff are also very friendly and accommodating. The food tastes like someone knows exactly what they're doing. It's not convenience food! The prices are also perfectly reasonable.

A great restaurant with exceptionally friendly service. This was reflected in, among other things, the question whether I, as a Dutch person, would like dumplings. Apparently, the Dutch don't like them very much. The food was excellent and delicious. And the pinnacle of service and trust came at the checkout. We'd missed the message that payment by card wasn't possible. Well, we didn't have enough cash. Could I come back tomorrow? That wasn't possible, so we just paid via bank transfer. Truly fantastic!

A very pleasant place. You can sit on the terrace under a tree. The food is local and very tasty – I recommend the breaded Jägerschnitzel; the flavor is outstanding. The apfelstrudel with vanilla ice cream is very good. The prices are normal and reasonable (around 15-18 euros per dish), and the portions are very large. A bonus is the salad bar, where you can serve your own salad. The spätzle is very good, as is the kartofflensalat – it feels homemade, not store-bought. The service is also friendly and unobtrusive. I recommend it.

The Eulenstübchen is a truly quaint, cozy little restaurant. The service is excellent. The girls are all on the ball, and you don't have to wait long for your food. A big compliment to the kitchen, too. The home-style cooking is outstanding. You're relishing memories of grandma's fine cooking. The roasts are especially recommended. Here, you get excellent service and freshly prepared food at a very fair price in a wonderful, family-friendly atmosphere. TOP!

We don't understand the previous gentleman's feedback. We were given a very warm welcome by the owners and waiters. And even if you don't have a reservation, everyone makes every effort to ensure everyone finds a seat and gets something to eat. The food isn't comparable to a snack bar; it tastes like grandma's home-cooked food. The homemade potato salad is especially recommended. The waiters are also very attentive and courteous. We were more than satisfied and would stop by again for dinner and an Aperol anytime! 🍷❤️ Absolutely recommend it!

After a long visit to the Christmas market in Rothenburg, we were really hungry for home-cooked food. We found the Eulenstübchen on Google and they spontaneously had a table for 6 free. What can I say? It's a really cute, rustic inn that gave us a warm welcome. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. We had roulades and schnitzel. All the pieces of meat were fresh and, above all, REAL! The roulades were super tender and the schnitzels were large, delicious schnitzels. The kids' portion of fries was also more than generous. The service was excellent and attentive. The fact that the decor is a bit dated didn't matter anymore. We were surprised and stuffed when we set off on our journey home to Fulda. A real recommendation for anyone who loves good, hearty German cuisine.

We visited two evenings in a row. The service was super friendly. The food was absolutely delicious. You can tell the food is still cooked from scratch. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

We spent three nights at the Tauber-Idyll campsite. We ate here every evening, and everything was delicious. The menu is small but very good. Different service staff were available each evening, and they were all very friendly and attentive. We'd be happy to come back.

We're currently spending a few days at the Tauberromantik campsite, and today the three of us spontaneously went to the Eulenstübchen restaurant. We ordered plaice fillet and schnitzel. We were delighted. Where else can you find freshly pounded schnitzel and delicious pan-fried fish? The side salad from the buffet is also something special. Thank you for the delicious food, and the lady and young man serving were extremely friendly. We'd love to come back.

This restaurant is located directly at the idyllic "Tauberromantik" campsite. It serves good Franconian home-style cooking, as well as vegetarian options. We chose the Maultaschen (ravioli) with meat or vegetable filling and didn't regret it. Salads are available at the counter for self-service, and the dressings are homemade. The dining rooms were clean. The server was very friendly and had good tips for us.

Good food, nice service. It was great that you could take the side salad from the buffet. Big schnitzel, delicious sauce with lots of mushrooms, what more could you want. Even the dog was provided with water.

We were guests twice after an uncomplicated telephone reservation. The food - sauerbraten, Jägerschnitzel and pork fillet - was great in terms of taste and quantity. Nice ambience, beautiful decoration adapted to the season and a Hugo on the house on New Year's Eve round off the lovely stay. The proximity to the campsite is priceless.

We are at the Tauberromantik campsite for a few days and have already eaten at the Eulenstübchen twice. Whether schnitzel, currywurst or roast, everything was super tasty and large portions!! The waitresses were very nice and attentive. We will come back there again!!

If we could, we would give this restaurant 10 stars. The waitress (the landlord's granddaughter) provides great service. The food was amazing, the taste was great and the portion was great for the price.
