We visited the sauna, great. Large and luxurious wellness area, 2 saunas, steam bath, outdoor lighting, 3 relaxation rooms, one of which has a fireplace, everything like new. The staff was extremely friendly and the evening was great.

I've eaten here often for over two decades because of the price, back then as a child with my parents, now with my partner. and ordered again and again. The last time, however, was the last straw. We've been ordering almost ALWAYS the same thing for a few years now - instead of the clearly and unmistakably announced dish "penna al arrabiata", something else was delivered, which, according to research, is probably called "amitraticia" or something like that. What's more, I ALWAYS order my portion of penne al arrabiatta without parmesan. therefore vegan. Well, the dish was without parmesan, but with meat/chunks of bacon. That was probably the purest intention, because a few days before my friend in the restaurant had the pizza, which was very burnt, returned to the kitchen. This was also accepted with absolute reluctance, evil looks and my partner's words were recited - lol totally self-absorbed and unfriendly, always unfriendly. The intentional misunderstanding was probably the return policy on the part of the restaurant. you know each other ;-) After an unsuccessful attempt to clarify the whole thing over the phone, nothing was understood at all ("we understood it okay!"), no suggestion for a solution was offered and they said that that was just how we ordered it, which is simply not true. My girlfriend is not as stubborn as me. If I had called, you probably wouldn't have handled us so incompetently. No "oh sorry, that wasn't intentional, next time we'll get a portion on the house" or something similar as a solution. The service has been terrible for a few years. and becomes more and more horrific. up to this above mentioned ppoint. You feel like an enemy of the staff and not a welcome, PAYING guest - not only the two of us, but also all the friends and family members who came here to eat separately and without us are of exactly this opinion. So it's not a coincidence and not a "problem with us" but a problem on your part. clearly. It's a shame that the "new" staff runs the restraunt so expensively and the service is poor. We will NEVER order anything or eat here again. In addition, we all have our sphere of influence - privately, professionally and elsewhere. I don't think you know how important word of mouth is in Rothenburg gastronomy. It never really tasted particularly good anyway, it was rarely really good and fresh. You only ordered on days when you didn't even feel like preparing a fat, tasty portion of penne al arrabiata with a lot of love and competence for two days for a reasonable €2.78. It just doesn't work like that anymore. really overpriced, unfriendly and bad e.g. T. eating canned vegetables (peppers, mushrooms, peppers => yuck!) What's also funny is that the penne al arrabiatta was never prepared right away. Sometimes it's really "good", other times it's just pasta with pureed tomatoes, a careless pinch of salt and that's it. If you have forgotten how much word gets around in Rothenburg, you should go to Schleungist and change the direction of this restaurant immediately. Otherwise you'll simply no longer exist in 2 years if you treat customers like enemies. Speaking of customer relationships. You get looked at with a bad look when you enter the store. A mood arises, crazy. It was more relaxed when the (former?) boss Benito watched Italian football at volume 30 out of 40 - and was friendly. We liked going there. with colleagues e.g. t. 1 x or even twice a week. because good and cheap. at that time. Loyal regular customers are rare.
