We did not stay in the hotel, but had an excellent dinner at the restaurant. We arrived in town in late afternoon and did not have a reservation for dinner. After being turned away by several places, we stopped by Hotel Sonne. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was delightful-offering recommendations when asked. I had one of the prettiest and freshest salads that I have ever been served! We enjoyed a delightful meal!

Unfortunately disappointing in every respect, ok at best. Lackluster and at the end, when it was busier, even unfriendly service. When we ate (we both had the suckling pig) the meat and sauce tasted like it came from a package, the dumplings and red cabbage were okay. Praise for the export beer served: weak flower but rich taste. I get a capuccino and espresso at the end better at home. The atmosphere seems outdated, cheap, uncomfortable: salt shakers, coasters, furniture, tiles.
