We did not stay in the hotel, but had an excellent dinner at the restaurant. We arrived in town in late afternoon and did not have a reservation for dinner. After being turned away by several places, we stopped by Hotel Sonne. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our waitress was delightful-offering recommendations when asked. I had one of the prettiest and freshest salads that I have ever been served! We enjoyed a delightful meal!

The ambience was ok but the food was worse than ever. Service staff overwhelmed, but they do everything well. Due to the understaffing, ordering and serving takes a little longer. Food is underground; It doesn't taste completely bad, but it doesn't taste good either: it tastes like NOTHING. Spice-free and loveless preparation, probably just canned food. I would like to meet the chef, probably blind and without taste buds. Carelessly prepared, the table next door ordered a separate dumpling for the child; It actually came served in a dog bowl without anything. Schnitzel with croquettes are served more attractively and tastefully at every snack bar. Unfortunately, the last few recessions have been right. Only the export beer (of course it's a matter of taste) was really tasty and drinkable.
