Very nice beer garden, food was also very good.

Worst food we have ever eaten. Finished products and too expensive for that. The staff also seemed more than unmotivated.

This is so so bad. I am at a loss for words. The frozen food... really bad and overpriced. That would have almost ruined our whole day! The waiter wasn't in the mood either.

The food is better, sirloin is dry, spaetzle like in a canteen and the cream mushroom sauce isn't the best either. Staff friendly, drinks came quickly.

The staff was friendly and quick. The beer garden could be a little nicer and more attractive. Unfortunately the food was anything but good. It lacked salt and flavor. One had the impression that most of them were finished products. The food wasn't really well presented either. We wouldn't eat there again.

You can sit outside there very nicely and the service is quick and friendly. Unfortunately our food wasn't good. The salad was not fresh and not cleaned properly. The vegetarian Maultaschen with egg were very tasteless. The sauce for the pork loins was soggy and didn't taste like anything. The only positive thing was the meat in it. It's a shame, we didn't want to be influenced by the reviews, but unfortunately they were right.

We ordered pasta with pork steak and mushroom sauce; schnitzel and French fries. It seemed expensive at first, then they brought us huge portions and we understood why. If you don’t eat much, you can take one serving for two. The schnitzel felt like they weren’t salted, the fries delicious. Homemade pasta, I personally didn’t like it. The steak was delicious. For dessert we had apple strudel with ice cream and cream - so far the most delicious I’ve ever eaten.

Attempting to conform to Google algorithm guidelines. It's just sad what's on offer here. A tourist trap is the nicest thing you can say about this place. If I ran this store I would have nightmares. I've never eaten so badly in my entire life. Even if you tried hard to handle food poorly, the result would be better. At school, the grade would not adequately reflect the performance. I'm stunned... and just sad

Food terrible even the kebab plate at the train station is better. I had spaetzle with cheese and salad. I know the spaetzle from the metro, the cheese was Gouda and also from the metro, the salad was really okay.

The drinks and food were brought to the table quickly, the mixed beer drink was well mixed and the friendliness of the staff was ok. However, that is the only positive thing that can be reported. The food was really not recommended. We had the suckling pig twice with dumplings and red cabbage. The suckling pig rind was sloppy and tasted a bit like rubber, the dumplings were a finished product, tasted bland and also like rubber and the red cabbage was quite sour and the sauce was also very bland. All in all not recommended.

Actually a really nice place, the menu is very inviting. We had pork loin with spaetzle and mushroom cream sauce. Basically a natural schnitzel with packaged spaetzle, cream sauce with mushrooms. The taste was ok, but definitely not a pork loin. Service is nice. But we won't be back for dinner.

Recommended for a quick, good lunch!

Leider war das Essen komplett mit Fertigprodukten gekocht. Vom fertigen Hackbraten, die fertige Champignonssauce mit TK Champignons so wie die fertigen „Spätzle“. Der Preis wäre gerechtfertigt, wenn die Speisen mit frischen Zutaten gekocht wären. Immerhin der Kellner war freundlich und bemüht. In Rothenburg kein Tipp zum essen.

Were in Rothenburg and were lucky enough to have lunch there. Staff was friendly, the beer garden behind the house is nice and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the old town. Prices ok for a tourist town but not for what you get. Most of the food consists of finished products. It's a shame that people cook like that here.

Service is ok but the food is really bad. I just hope I don't get diarrhea. The food actually looks good but it's not a steak. The €4 steak from Lidl was better. The sauce was over-salted, the meat was dry, the dumplings were tasteless and I didn't want to touch the salad. One of the worst restaurants I've ever been to. For the price I'd rather eat a kebab and then still have money to go to the pub.

One can only warn! We want what happened to us not to happen to others in the first place. Suckling pig with dumplings and red cabbage and cauliflower/cheese medallions were ordered. We can't remember ever being served something so scary! Ready-made sauce, ready-made dumplings, canned red cabbage. None of it had any taste, not even a bad one ;-) You have to get that done first. When it comes to the vegetarian dish, it's ALL ready-made products that were just thrown into the deep fryer. We let the food go back after 2 bites. The chef (?) then came to the table and explained to us that he couldn't understand that. However, he apparently understood it so well that he said: “Sorry, you are my guests today.” We didn't have to pay anything (not even the drinks!) At least that was a nice move and a star for it. Afterwards we had a fantastic meal a few streets away, in the same price range by the way. It works…

Friendly service. Fast service. Nice atmosphere. Food tastes like it came from the freezer. Suckling pig with dumplings and red cabbage was ordered. Meat too dry, dumplings and red cabbage tasted like they came from the frozen supermarket. I don't have to go out to eat, I can prepare it myself and it's much cheaper. A pity

Food, cleanliness, price-performance ratio, portion size and friendliness were exceptionally good. The nice gentleman who served us loves his job. Without asking, we were given an “extra portion” of the slaughter platter because a sausage had burst open. We recommend. When we're in the area again, we know where to eat. (Coming from Fulda)

What can I say... I haven't had such a bad meal in a long time, I had roast suckling pig, with dumplings and red cabbage... the meat was so tough that it couldn't even be cut, and the taste was a real disappointment, I finished it completely left on the plate...the red cabbage was incredibly sour, absolutely inedible, as if vinegar had been poured over it...couldn't eat it, the best thing was probably the ready-made dumplings. The waiter was also completely unfriendly and you could really tell that he didn't seem to enjoy his job, and we waited forever, even though there wasn't that much activity at the time...my friend had the cheese spaetzle and they also liked it Tasted straight out of the bag...absolutely not recommended, it probably would have been better to read the reviews beforehand...

Unfortunately my visit to this restaurant was disappointing. The food did not meet my expectations in any way. The quality and taste left a lot to be desired. The service was also not attentive and the staff was hardly friendly. It seemed like the staff had little interest in providing guests with a pleasant experience. The wait times were unreasonably long, and even after the food was served, the service remained uncoordinated and inattentive. Given the many dining options in the area, I unfortunately cannot recommend this restaurant. It would be desirable if management would rethink the quality of the food and service to provide guests with a more pleasant experience.

Das Restaurant und die Menüauswahl fanden wir bereits beim Vorbeigehen einladend. Daher einfach mal Ausprobiert. Ein großer Gasthof-Bewirtungsraum mit netter und zuvor kommender Bedienung empfingen uns und wir konnten direkt an einem freien Tisch gebracht werden. Die Preise waren vernünftig und das Essen war schlichtweg lecker. Alles in allem, top gerne wieder.

Also den katatrophalen Bewertungen kann ich mich nicht anschliessen. Es ist kein Top Restaurant, aber zumindest eine durchschnittliche Bewertung finde ich gerechtfertigt. Der Service war bemüht (es war relativ wenig los) und das Essen war in Ordnung. Es war keine Gourmetküche, aber geniessbar und wir hatten nicht das Bedürfnis, etwas zurückgehen zu lassen.

Das Essen war leider ein Reinfall. Sauerkraut extrem sauer,3 kleine halbe Kartoffeln. Auf Bitten um zwei,drei Kartöffelchen mehr,sollte ich dafür 3,50 Euro extra bezahlen!!! Vorn an der Straße sitzt man sehr ungemütlich und es ist sehr laut

Faires Preis - Leistungsverhältnis, das Essen war ganz gut - für Touristen halt. Der Wirt und die Bedienung sehr nett.

This place was well worth a visit. Decent prices, good food, fast service. If you sit outside, it is lovely to look around, but the sun does come up quickly, so keep that in mind. Highly recommend visit this establishment if you are looking for a place to eat in Rothenburg!

Hier gibt es sogar interessantes vegetarisches Gericht dazu noch toll mit dem Salat garniert. Die Preise sind in Ordnung. Die Bedienung nett.

Sehr nettes Personal. Hatte die Fleischküchle bestellt, diese haben gut geschmeckt und waren frisch zubereitet. Preislich vollkommen in Ordnung.

Great place to stay, friendly owner, very helpful, amazing breakfast buffet

Wir sind zufällig im Restaurant Schwan gelandet. Erfreulicherweise war unsere Hündin willkommen und durfte mit rein. Die Atmosphäre ist sehr nüchtern, einfache Holzstühle, wenig Dekoration und simple Gestaltung. Die Bedienung erfolgte prompt. Es gab ein bisschen sprachliche Barrieren und eine bestätigte Umbestellung einer Mahlzeit lief schief. Das Essen wurde zeitnah serviert und war o.k. Teilweise etwas wenig gewürzt, aber besser als zu viel gewürzt. Das Essen war gut, allerdings nichts Außergewöhnliches. Die Portionen waren gut. Später kamen mehr Gäste, das machte die Umgebung etwas einladender. Der Besuch war in Ordnung.

Wir saßen im Biergarten, der war zwar sehr ruhig aber dennoch nicht besonders. Bestellt hatten wir eine gemischte aufschnittplatte die wir uns teilen wollten, der Tisch neben uns der va 15 Minuten später kam hat sich für das gleiche entschieden und diese auch nach ca. 10 min erhalten. Unsere Platte ließ auf sich warten. Als wir gesehen haben wie wenig die Platte belegt ist für den stolzen Preis und jeder der nach uns kam schon sein Essen erhalten hat wollten wir diese abbestellen. Jedoch antwortete die Kellnerin sie muss erst nach schauen ob die schon fertig sei, brachte darauf hin zwei weiteren Tischen ihr essen und kam nach 10 min erneut zu uns und sagte die Platte sei schon fertig man könne nicht abbestellen, jedoch ohne uns die Platte zu bringen. Diese haben wir dann nach erneuten 10 Minuten warten erhalten. Was uns dann auf den Teller erwartet hat war ein billiger Aufschnitt der keine Qualität hatte sowie ein paar trockene Brot Scheiben. Selbst auf dem volksfest bekomme ich für den Preis besseres. Das Bier war ebenfalls einfach nur lasch und schmeckte so als hätte es schon ewig im Glas darauf gewartet zu einem Tisch gebracht zu werden. Es gibt bestimmt bessere wirtshäuser in der Nähe. Meidet den Weg dort hin!

Der Salat war mit Sand serviert, die Salat Soße kommt aus der Flasche. Die Champions kommen aus der Dose und die Schweine Medaillons sind nicht gewürzt. Die Soße ist nicht lecker und wahrscheinlich auch aus der Packung. Insgesamt nicht lecker und für ein Restaurant zu wenig.

Gasthaus im Wirtshausstil Service gut. Beim Kinder Essen fehlten die Spätzle, wurden aber nachgeliefert. Die Champignons schmeckten wie aus der Dose und die Pfannkuchen wie ein FertigGericht

Einfache Karte, preislich in einem Tourihotspot OK. Allerdings kein Geschmackserlebnis, vieles sieht nach Convenieceprodukten aus. Pommes ohne Salz. Damen WC in die Jahre gekommen. Der sog. Biergarten ist kulturelle Aneignung, ein Mirabellenbaum macht noch keinen Garten 😁

日本語のメニューが置いてある。ドイツでは英語のメニューすらない店が多いのに嬉しい。 ローテンブルクでは日本語をよく見かけた。日本人が大挙して押し掛けていた頃の名残が残っているのかもしれない。

Schöne Gasthaus mit leckerem Essen ( Spanferkelrollbraten mit Knödel und Blaukraut ) . Netter Service mit lockerem Spruch .

Nettes Restaurant mit Biergarten und auch ein paar Tischen auf der Straße. Es werden typische fränkische Speisen zu vernünftigen Preisen mit freundlicher Bedienung angeboten.

Ordentliches Essen zu moderaten Preisen, Service war eigentlich freundlich und schnell bis wir es wagten, dem Kellner zu sagen, dass das Kinderessen seifig schmeckt. Er hat sofort abgeblockt, dies könne nicht sein, keine Nachfrage und erst recht kein Angebot, ein anderes Essen oder einen Nachtisch als Ausgleich anzubieten. Beim Bezahlen warf er uns vor, ihn durch die Kritik zu beleidigen. Fazit: der Kellner war so mit seinem beleidigt sein beschäftigt, dass er weder Respekt für seine Gäste hatte noch sich um eine Lösung gekümmert hat. Beim Gehen hörten wir noch deutlich, wie er anderen Gästen sagte, dass wir spinnen... Ohne Worte!

Gedateerd, maar in alles perfect. Allemaal eigen kamer met en zonder bad, douches, wasbak. Wasmachine, afwasmachine, koelkasten, een met vriesvak. Meerdere 2 pers.bedden, keuken met inventaris ( niet compleet ). Wij vonden het heel fijn om vanuit Gamper vele plaatsen te bezoeken.

Service was ok. The food was ok. Not outstanding but ok. Guite average.

Gut Bürgerliche Küche und Klasse Service

Wir können die negativen Rezensionen nicht verstehen. Waren dort schon zwei mal und es war immer sehr lecker und die Kellner waren sehr freundlich! :) empfehlenswert sind die Plätze direkt am Fenster, wo man Ausblick auf die Straße und die kleinen Läden hat.

Man kann nicht alles essen!! Blumenkohl Taler, sind tk Ware! Die Kellner!! Belächeln Beschwerden. Die Gulaschsuppe ist undefinierbar
