First dinner in Nuremberg. Restaurant and Pizzeria with Italian dishes. They offer gluten-free pizza for a surcharge. It was worth it because the dough was very good. The place is very crowded, without a reservation you risk waiting a while.

A part of Italy in Nuremberg, I found a nice atmosphere and extreme kindness from the staff. Very good pizzas and really cheap prices.

It is a cost-effective gourmet meal. I definitely say that this is the best house in Nuremberg. I was getting tired of German food so I looked for an Italian restaurant, and as soon as I saw the wine list, I was happy that it was good value for money. I ordered 1 vongole pasta, 1 pizza, and 1 bottle of prosecco, for a total of 57.5 euros. Although prosecco is cheaper in Europe than in Korea, it is not common to drink it in a restaurant for about 2x euros. The food tasted great, but I think it's a conscientious restaurant. Koreans must visit. The location is also good.

Update August 16, 2024: Another evening spent with delicious food at Padelle. Vitello Tonnato, Saltimbocca Romana and Fregola were again very tasty. The service is really pleasantly attentive. Only the wine selection on the standard menu is not convincing and seems neglected. Otherwise very good and recommended. 5 stars again ————— Very popular, authentic Italian. We had to wait outside for 15 minutes because we didn't have a reservation. But it's more of a good sign. Good, fast service. Starter Antipasto Misto delicious, Vitello Tonnata also fresh and very good. Risotto with sweet devil and tagliatelle salmone were also very good. Because there are so many guests, it is relatively cramped and noisy - but the Italian atmosphere makes up for it well. A place where you can eat well. Hence recommendation. Don't forget to reserve!

We ended up at Padelle d’Italia by chance and were thrilled from the first moment. We went in without any great expectations and were even offered a place on the roof terrace - an absolute insider tip that you wouldn't expect! The atmosphere up there was simply wonderful, perfect for a relaxing evening. Since the menu appealed to us so much, we decided to try our way across the menu. We started with the bruschetta – wonderfully crispy and fresh, an ideal introduction. We continued with Vitello Tonnato, which was super tender and tasted right on point - the combination of meat and tuna sauce was simply perfect. The Saltimbocca alla Romana was solid, well seasoned and cooked to perfection. But the absolute hit for us was the Pizza Funghi: thin, crispy dough and wonderfully topped with fresh mushrooms - that's exactly how a pizza should be! What also made the evening special was the service. The entire team was incredibly friendly and attentive, even the children were treated with so much patience and care that we felt completely at home. Our conclusion: An all-round successful evening, great food and a pleasant atmosphere. We'll definitely be back! If you are looking for authentic Italian cuisine in Nuremberg, Padelle d’Italia is highly recommended!

Authentic Italian restaurant with very tasty food. Reservation recommended. There is very tasty gluten-free pizza. Lots of regulars and Italians visiting. Service was friendly, but orders were sometimes forgotten/misunderstood, also due to a language barrier. Sometimes you have to “fight” for the attention of the staff, as regular guests are given a little more attention.

Upon entering, you get a good first impression, and the menu looks promising. After ordering our starters, we were served some bread, followed shortly by the appetizers. The bruschetta was tasty, but the other dish was a mismatched combination of flavors and lacked quality. While we were still eating the starters, the main course suddenly arrived, forcing us to rearrange the plates ourselves to make room. It's a shame this happened; a brief wait would have been better. Unfortunately, the overall quality of the food was disappointing, and it didn't feel like an Italian dining.

Very nice restaurant and delicious food.

The restaurant was crowded, so the service was slow. We ordered normal pasta and pizza and also gluten free pasta and pizza. The normal food was fine, but the gluten free pasta tasted just like storebought and the pizza dough was very hard and difficult to chew. Gluten free def not worth for the price, the regular food was good, but not extraordinary.

Been here 4 times in the last month and was never disappointed. Pasta, meat, fish, salat everything was prepared perfectly and everything was fresh. Also, they have a good selection of wines, even those on glass. Highly recommended.

I had the pleasure of dining at this amazing Italian restaurant and loved it! The atmosphere was cozy and authentic. The food was to die for – the pasta was al dente, the sauces were rich and the ingredients were fresh. The homemade lasagna and the crispy pizza were particularly outstanding. We had a really good dinner here! The food was really delicious! We particularly liked the pistachio tiramisu; you have to try it. The only thing that bothered us a bit were the partitions between the tables that were left over from Corona. This ruined the atmosphere a bit and seemed like it was being used to squeeze even more people into the restaurant. Two fewer tables wouldn't hurt.

We liked the food and our servers were great. However, if you are a non-smoker, you will not want to book an “outside” table. These tables are in a courtyard and there are many smokers. We’re used to rolling with the circumstances, but had we known there would be that many smokers, smoking throughout their meal, we would have eaten inside or would have gone somewhere else for sure.

Be careful with gluten-free food! My husband ordered a gluten-free pizza and felt sick almost immediately after dinner. Gluten-free food is mixed in with other food and it doesn't seem like the restaurant strictly controls it. If you have celiac disease or another type of gluten intolerance, it is better to choose another restaurant. They cook delicious food here, but it can be dangerous for your health.

If I could I wouldn't give it a star. It all started with the waitress, she was just annoyed and impersonal from the start. She placed the plates for the bread on the table wildly, as well as the drinks, which she placed on the table without saying a word. I then sent the pizzas for the kids and mine back. The dough was literally burnt on the edges and sticky and mushy in the middle. When I asked the boss he first said it had to be that way, shortly afterwards he said it was because of the amount of toppings (my pizza was literally swimming with toppings and oil). The pizzas for the kids arrived 20 minutes later. One was new made and the other was the same only made hot in the shaft. In the end, the newly baked pizza was just as terrible as before. I like going to Italian restaurants (I've been to a few) and the pizzas there are always crispy on the bottom. All in all, I have never experienced anything like this and can't understand these positive reviews at all.

We were visiting Nuremberg from Munich and had dinner in this place because it has a top rating (which now looks like a joke to me). Maybe we are spoiled, but in my opinion the quality of the food is worth one star. In my opinion the mussels were small, like from Lidl, and not tasty. I think the truffle pasta wasn’t good - the sauce was undercooked and the noodles did not go with the dish. The sauce for the shrimp dish wasn't good either. In my opinion, you can easily find a better place for this high price.

The homemade pasta dishes in particular are an absolute highlight - you can immediately tell that only high-quality ingredients are used here. The wine list is also impressive and offers a diverse selection of fine wines that pair perfectly with the dishes. The service was first class. The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and made sure that we felt completely comfortable. Special requests were also fulfilled without any problems and with a smile. The ambience is cozy and stylish at the same time, making Padelle an ideal place for both romantic dinners and social gatherings with friends. As we learned, the restaurant was founded in 2008 by Nino and Donato. This personal touch and the passion of the founders are reflected in every detail and contribute significantly to the special atmosphere. I can highly recommend the Padelle restaurant to everyone. A real insider tip in Nuremberg for everyone who loves authentic, high-quality Italian cuisine. I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

I felt really comfortable, if I were in Nuremberg again I would stop by again straight away. But this time with a reservation - I was extremely lucky that they had something free 🥰

A pizza that tastes like Italy. Highly Recommended!

I was there to get my Linguine allo Scoglio. They have really good and authentic food. The serving was also quite beautiful and they cooked it very well (it doesn't smell of the sea but really tastes like the sea!) The service I got was really nice and kind. I also got a recommendation for wine because I'm not that expert on it. The restaurant wasn't really big but the atmosphere was quite nice. Not that fancy though, but has a fancy taste!

So far the daily menu has not been repeated twice. The dishes are very well prepared and tasty, always with attention to details and very delicate notes of taste. You really have the feeling that you are at a real Italian restaurant.

Local muy acogedor, con una pequeña terraza cubierta en la entrada. Tiene una carta bastante amplia. Dispone además de los clásicos de pasta o pizza, carnes y pescados. Los entrantes son variados y de calidad. Las verduras del antipasti estaban buenísimas. El carpaccio muy rico. De segundos, las pastas estaban buenísimas. El fruti de mare tenía una gran calidad de todos los ingredientes. Las pizzas muy ricas, y grandes. Postres ricos. El personal muy amable y atento. Todos ellos italianos, y nos entendíamos perfectamente con todos. Nos hicieron hueco para 5 a pesar de estar muy llenos y llegar algo tarde. El precio está muy bien. Totalmente recomendable

Italian quick snack with pasta and pizza dishes. Everything happens very quickly and tastes good. But the cheese sauce didn't taste like Gorgonzola. All in all, a good option for a quick meal.

Cancelled our reservation without notice or explanation. We had to go to Maestro as a backup, which incidentally had amazing pizzas.

We always enjoy going there! The service is great and friendly, the food and wine are delicious! The price-performance ratio is also great. Whenever we miss our vacation in Italy, we come here. However, reservations are recommended. You may still be able to get a place if you don't have a reservation. But you have to be very punctual and there is no guarantee that you will get a seat inside. We have experienced again and again that guests unfortunately had to leave because they didn't have a reservation. Sitting outside isn't a problem either as the place has heat lamps and blankets so it's not cold to eat. For groups it is recommended to reserve a few weeks in advance. Both the pizzas and the pasta are highly recommended. As starters, the bruschetta, beef carpaccio and the swordfish carpaccio are very tasty, we haven't tried any other starters yet. Many thanks to the entire staff who conjure up a little piece of Italy for us every time 🧡

An Italian who doesn't live up to his reputation. We experienced this during our visit to Padella d'Italia Nuremberg. The restaurant greeted us warmly and we were shown to our table. We then ordered the food and drinks, which were quickly brought to our table along with the starter (bruschetta). Unfortunately the bruschetta was just average and nothing exceptional for an Italian. Unfortunately, the main courses (Pizza Salami and Pizza Quattro Formaggi) were brought by the waitress immediately after the bruschetta. So we got the pizzas within 15 minutes of arriving at the restaurant. We would have appreciated it if the restaurant had taken its time with the main courses. Furthermore, the pizzas were also disappointing as they did not correspond to the reputation of the restaurant and the many good reviews. I would have expected better pizzas at Padella d'Italia. Afterwards the payment was very quick and we left the restaurant. Overall the ambience of the restaurant was very nice and Italian. The waiters were also friendly, but delivered the food too quickly. However, the food disappointed us. The pizzas and bruschetta should taste better especially for this upscale price. In summary, we will not visit Padella d'Italia again in the future because of this.

Unfortunately I am very disappointed. Our truffle pasta was completely over salted. Really inedible.. after our complaint we received a “new portion” within 2 minutes (how can you make a fresh sauce in that time?), which was slightly less salty but still inedible. Very annoying for €25.
