En ce qui concerne la cuisine, hormis la carte confuse (le plat commandé ne mentionnait pas de viande et a été servi avec deux énormes travers de porc...) et que nous n'avons pas trouvé les fameux jarrets que l'une des critiques mentionnait, elle est bonne mais trop généreuse, il est dommage de gâcher tant de nourriture. Abordons maintenant le service : Aucune attention et aucune explication; une serveuse qui ne nous regarde même pas et souffle lorsque nous l'interrogeons: Le jus de pomme bien sûr que nous l'avons sans gaz ! Et devinez ce qui est servi; un apfel schorle ! Quand nous lui redonnons, elle nous le sert de nouveau en nous disant qu'il n'y a que celui-là au restaurant, bon.... Le bruit : des bock jetés dans le bac évier, qui se brisent, des plateaux renversés, on sent que l'ambiance est mauvaise. Nous n'avons pas arrondi la note.

Leider nicht mehr so toll! Mutiert immer mehr zum Touri-Hotspot. Schlägt sich somit auch im Preis nieder. Bei der Freundlichkeit der Bedienung, des Bedieners muss man Glück haben. Je nach Tageslaune. Essen qualitativ in Ordnung, manche Essen waren aber auch schon mal besser. Stammtischrunde die vorher 10 Jahre dort war, hat sich jetzt was anderes gesucht. Preis, Leistung passt nicht mehr so ganz. Bewertung zieht sich insgesamt über 3 Besuche im Zeitraum von 7 Wochen und aufgrund Reaktion mehrerer Leute in unserer Gruppe. Auf ein Bier in der Schwemm jederzeit eine Empfehlung. Vor Ort Essen muss man selber abwägen.

Sehr freundliches Personal und leckeres Essen. Ich hatte den Spargel mit paniertem Schnitzel "Wiener Art" und Orangenhollondaise. Mein Mann den Krustenbraten. Wir waren mit allem sehr zufrieden. Preis-Leistung, Service und Geschmack top.

Schweinebraten, Gröstl und Bratwürstl gegessen. Sehr gute Küche so wie es sein soll. Prima Augustiner Bier (auch alkoholfrei) mit sehr freundlichem Service. Gerne wieder.

Schuster stick to your guns: The beer was very good, especially the new non-alcoholic one is fine. The onion roast was very flaxy with a not very tasty sauce... Rather mediocre overall.

Here we had a typical Bavarian breakfast with friends. The patio was busy, the waitresses milling about, but they were friendly, smiling and welcoming. The food was very good, delicious, worth waiting a bit for it to be brought in. A very pleasant place.

The only drawback: the pretzel was a bit dry. But anyone who experiences something different on Sunday afternoon in Bavaria is incredibly lucky! Everything else here is great: really friendly service that is also quick. Sparkling beer, delivered quickly, nice sitting right in the sunshine by the church, nice furnishings inside and clean toilets. All of this at – for my usual Munich standards – moderate prices: top!

Lunch on Ascension Day (Father's Day): Very courteous, friendly and competent service. The food (1x pancake soup, 1x crusted roast, 1x fried liver) was plentiful, of good quality and we liked it very much. Considering the large portions, the generally higher price level in the catering industry and the central location of the inn, the price is still reasonable overall. The originally packaged leftover food also tasted cold as a snack at home.

Unfortunately we were greeted today by a very unfriendly service. I don't know when you're considered a regular, but at least once a month, but of course not in the future, we had lunch with 3-4 people at the Augustiner at St. Martin's Church. The new tenant apparently no longer needs a table at 1:30 p.m.!!!! Reserved for a quick lunch at 12:00 p.m. But the condition didn't even ask whether we just wanted to drink something, but just complemented us right back out. We were very disappointed

Only at Grandma’s does it taste better! Simply everything is extremely good! Perfect service! Bavarian food like you can't get anymore these days! Perfect crust when roasting pork! And I've never tasted such delicious liver! Highly recommended and as a Munich resident I will also go here in the future if I feel like something really Bavarian! It's also much cheaper than in Munich, so it's worth twice as much.' Really only recommended! We felt like our grandma was cooking! Thanks to the great team! 😍

Wir haben am Samstagmittag um 12:00h ohne Reservierung versucht einen Tisch zu bekommen. Das Lokal war etwa zu 2/3 besetzt. Ein nettes Ehepaar hat uns an ihren Tisch gebeten, der allerdings um 13:30h , also 1,5 Stunden später reserviert war. Eine unfreundliche Bedienung hat uns sofort des Tisches verwiesen, mit der Begründung , das Lokal ist schon zu voll. So etwas hätte der alte Wirt nicht akzeptiert. Aber anscheinend leben die neuen Wirtsleute im Schlaraffenland.

Historical place just behind the Landshut Dome, it's definitevely a Nice Place to have Lunch or Dinner. Kindly suggested Augustiner Burger and Kaiserschmarrn!

We were guests here for two evenings and a “lunch pint”. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We needed two evenings to be able to try our highlights on the menu. The Kaiserschmarren wouldn't have fit in on the second evening given the generous portions, but we didn't want to miss the experience. Despite being close to a food coma, it was definitely worth it.

Wir waren das erste Mal in Landshut und sind Samstag Mittag spontan mit einer zweiten Familie hier eingekehrt. Der Gastgarten war schon voll, im Lokal haben wir allerdings gleich einen freien Tisch bekommen. Wir wurden herzlich begrüßt, das gesamte Personal war überaus freundlich, wir wurden bestens umsorgt. Das Essen, vom Krustenbraten über den Kirchenteller bis zum großen Salat mit Hühnerstreifen, war sehr gut und geschmacklich super, die Portionen waren sehr groß. Bis auf den Wurstsalat - der wirkte etwas klein, ist aber auch nur eine Brotzeit. Preis - Leistung im gesamten jedenfalls top! Wir würden wieder kommen. Liebes Team - behaltet euch eure erfrischende Freundlichkeit.

When we visited, the food and service were quite good, but unfortunately I can't understand how in such a well-known traditional Bavarian restaurant, where it seems like every other person went there to eat the knuckle, they take this out of the program?! Instead, currywurst and burgers... nevertheless, you have to be fair and say that the food tastes good with the new operator! Therefore 3 out of 5 stars.

I've eaten there several times since the change of tenant and will continue to try out the menu - so far I've enjoyed everything very much! Service is quick and helpful, the host couple are very friendly and always in contact with the guests. We recommend!

The four of us had dinner in the evening on the opening day after the change of tenant. The food was excellent. Despite the large crowds and the high stress level, the service was on point and, above all, very friendly. Anytime again 👍🏻.

It's a nice place; my third visited Augustiner so far ... They all provide good service. I like the place and the portion of the Schnitzel is very large! It could easily fit 2 persons. The service was also friendly.

I have no idea how the 5-star reviews have come about since the change of tenant, food really has nothing to do with a good chef, bought dumplings, bought Kaiserschmarn, Gröstl are not really acceptable. We went to the Augustiner for lunch today and were more than thrilled. The new tenants have done a really great job. The food, roast pork and the large salad plate were super fresh and excellent in taste. The waitresses were very on point, no glass was left empty. We felt very comfortable. 5 stars more than deserved!!!

As a half German whole English speaker this place did a great job of helping me and my broken German get by! Proper local Bavarian pub vibes, great atmosphere, great food and the most delicious beer you come to expect here ! Great place for rubbish German speakers in town! I’ll be back!

After a long overdue change of tenant, we were back at the Augustiner after a long time. After spontaneously not getting a seat the day before (now for obvious reasons), this time with a reservation. The furnishings have remained the same, but everything else is really nice: the friendly and personal service, the delicious and varied food, everything was perfect! Thank you We will come back!

Excellent cuisine - cheap - generous portions - very friendly, professional staff - ambience, as I said, unique. I was very surprised, a lot has changed here! I found the food very good. I am a trained chef and had nothing to complain about. Waiting times are normal and the environment is great! Super nice staff. Here you can simply switch off and enjoy the moment! From what I heard, the owner must have changed hands here! Relaxed and calming like an autumn mist in the morning 🫡😘

Unfortunately I have to change my 5⭐️ to 3⭐️. Unfortunately, the food is no longer as good as it was, it seems to have been prepared a bit carelessly and the crusty roast wasn't even crispy, the dumplings were too hard, and the burger tasted average at best. It's a real shame but unfortunately this is no longer the best Bavarian restaurant in Landshut and the surrounding area

Very cozy restaurant with great cuisine! We stopped there at the end of February after visiting Landshut's beautiful old town and were warmly welcomed at the door by the waitress. We felt like regulars within minutes! Food, drinks, service, everything was great! I was so full, I slept like a bear! Clear recommendation!

After the reopening in February 2024, there will be a breath of fresh air in Landshut's gastronomy. I like the Augustiner beer on tap and the food selection. There is also something for vegetarians. At the beginning of the year there was a change of tenant at the Augustiner at St. Martin's Church in Landshut. Since the new tenants are very experienced and the name “Stix” is well known in the Landshut gastronomy scene, expectations were of course very high. So I paid a visit to the new restaurant right on the opening weekend. And despite the high expectations, I was still pleasantly surprised. The restaurant itself has a rustic Bavarian charm and invites you to linger. Despite the very high volume, the staff was always very nice and took orders quickly. For dinner I had the Bauerngröstl. The portions were large and the food was very tasty. The meat in particular was extremely on point and was reason enough for me to stop by again more often. I actually wanted to take a photo of it, but it looked too good to keep it waiting 😉 The price/performance ratio was really great and the selection of food and drinks included everything you could imagine in an original Bavarian inn. Vegetarian and vegan dishes were also considered. In addition, the host family wasn't above lending a hand, they were very present and very friendly and clearly had fun at work. All in all, my expectations were far exceeded in every respect and I wish the new tenants continued success.

Today we were at the Augustiner for the first time since the tenant changed to the Stix family. The food was delicious, the service was great and the ambience was great. The Augustiner is highly recommended! We look forward to many more visits with you!

Since the new tenants came on board, I've been there at least twice a week and eaten my way through the menu and can say that the dishes were very fresh, balanced and delicious. The prices are also fair and there is a weekly menu with changing dishes, which are also convincing. The beer is delicious and very affordable, the waitresses are all very friendly and seem to enjoy their work. The new host family can often be seen wandering through the restaurant, always in a good mood and greeting the guests. All in all, what has emerged from the rustic inn is great. Come back regularly and happily!

I was a long, loyal and satisfied customer in this really good restaurant, but from January 1st, 2024 my situation changed dramatically. The host changed and the world as I knew it changed forever. We wait a long time to be asked for drinks and even longer for the food. When it finally came, it was already cold in places. The first drink I had was a light one, then when I ordered the second I was suddenly asked for ID. I am a Bavarian child who has lived in this city for several generations and never has a family member been asked for ID. An impudence! He philosophizes about laws that have been in effect for decades but have never interested anyone. In the end I had to sit almost sober in a Bavarian restaurant. Luckily there was a box in the car.

We reserved there in good time for a birthday with 10 people and called again on the day of the reservation to receive confirmation. When we were there we weren't in the book and didn't get a place. Personally, I find it a great disgrace. Spontaneously find a restaurant for just 10 people on Saturday evening. We wanted to celebrate our birthday - it's a shame

Bester Krustenbraten in Landshut!

Essen und Bedienung waren okay allerdings gibt es ein wenig Verbesserungspotenzial bei der Haxe . Ansonsten ein gemütlicher und schöner Laden. Hunde sind willkommen.

Waren heute mit 12 Personen da..Essen kam super fix und das Personal war top. Atmosphäre war bayerisches Wirtshaus- typisch... Es war ein reges Kommen und gehen. Das ist jetzt nicht schlecht, aber ruhig ist halt was andres...

Krustenbraten total versalzen. Beilagen waren ok.

Wir sind heute mal wieder mit Freunden aus München zum Essen dort gewesen und waren sehr enttäuscht-leider . Wir hatten einen Tisch reserviert-uns wurde dann gesagt es gibt keine Reservierung auf unseren Namen-ok kann ja mal Passieren.Und dann gings weiter- Schweinshaxe und Krustenbraten total versalzen K.-Knödel verwässert ,alles nur lauwarm.Kellner leicht überfordert, Kaiserschmarrn so dermaßen Schmalzig und 1cm Puderzucker drauf. Gibt aber a positives das Schnitzel und das Kirchenpfandl grandios Guad wia immer. Ich hoffe das beim nächsten mal wieder so Guad ist wie wir es kennen.

Außerordentlich gut. Wir hatten eine Weihnachtsfeier mit fast 20 Leuten und das restliche Wirtshaus war mit Gästen voll - und was soll ich sagen - jeder wurde bedient, alles hat geklappt, keiner musste warten, essen top, sehr traditionelle geschmackvolle Küche, super Bier und das Ambiente wie es sein soll. Jeder von uns würde jederzeit wieder kommen.

Hallo, ich habe in meinem Leben schon mindestens 50 Schwaben- oder Kirchenpfandl gegessen, aber sowas wie heute, dass die Sosse mit einer Millimeter dicken Hautschicht überzogen war, ist mir noch nie untergekommen. Zum Thema Fleisch hat der NPC am Grill die für den Kaiserschmarrn angesetzten 45 Minuten Zubereitungszeit mit der Zubereitungszeit der Schweinemedaillons verwechselt. Man hat ja sonst nichts zu tun.

Ich bin gerne hier, und jedes Mal wenn ich wieder zurückkomme, werde ich daran erinnert wieso ich hier so gerne bin. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis, die Qualität das Ambiente und der Service sind einfach nur TOP!

Bereits Ende März hatten wir online für eine Betriebsweihnachtsfeier mit einem Wunschdatum angefragt. Man teilte uns mit das der Gewünschte Tag schon belegt ist, ohne den Vorschlag eines Ausweichdatums. Also haben wir nochmal nachgefragt ob eine Woche früher oder später ginge. Wir hatten Glück, Datum und Uhrzeit waren reserviert. Aufgrund der Gruppengröße, kam laut Angaben des Lokals nur die Martinsstube infrage. Knapp 2 Wochen vor der Feier hat uns das Lokal eine Speisekarte zukommen lassen mit der Frage ob es möglich ist unsere Speisenauswahl ihnen schon mitzuteilen, um an dem Abend nicht solange darauf warten müssen. Dem sind wir auch nachgekommen. Ein Tag vor der Feier wurde uns mitgeteilt, dass wir nicht wie reserviert in der Martinsstube sind, sondern man uns aufgrund der Schließung um 22 Uhr der Räumlichkeit unten platziert, wir aber trotzdem unter uns sein. 8 Monate bis zur geplanten Feier und dies fällt ihnen 1 Tag vorher ein!? Und natürlich waren wir nicht unter uns. Das wir bei unserer Ankunft über die Situation nicht erfreut waren, bekam auch eine Angestellte mit und machte uns das Angebot ins Kaminzimmer umzuziehen. Dieses nahmen wir dankend an. Ein Teil von uns hatte bereits Getränke, der andere Teil saß durstig an ihren Tischen und warteten bis zur ihrer Getränkebestellung. Man kann nicht mal auf sich aufmerksam machen wenn niemand da ist der sich verantwortlich fühlt. Scheinbar etwas unterbesetzt. Nach ca. 1½ h wurden wir gefragt was wir essen möchten. Es wurden Getränke bestellt die nie ankamen. Also begab man sich auf die Suche nach Personal, um ihnen mitzuteilen, dass wir noch gern etwas trinken würden. Beim weggehen pampte uns von hinten der Angestellte mit „letzte Runde“ nach. Der besagte Angestellte betrat mit seinem offensichtlichen genervten Auftreten den Raum und gestikulierte abwertend in die Richtung unserer Kollegin. Dies wollte sie selbstverständlich nicht auf sich sitzen lassen. Plötzlich kam es zu einer lautstarken verbalen Auseinandersetzung. Der Mitarbeiter hatte von Anfang an kein Interesse uns zu bedienen und wollte uns so schnell wie möglich vor die Tür setzen. Die letzte Runde blieb also aus. Wir wollten nur eine schöne Weihnachtsfeier in gemütlicher Runde und bekamen ein Desaster. Man hat ja für vieles Verständnis, aber nach der Show die darin abgeliefert wurde, werden bestimmt sehr viele von uns keinen Fuß mehr in dieses Lokal setzen.

Deftige bayerische Wirtshausküche😋. Große Portionen zu moderaten Preisen und ein flotter Service.

Vorweg: das Essen war hervorragend! Hatte das Wiener Schnitzel, super knusprig und der Kartoffel-Gurken-Salat dazu war perfekt. Aber: wir waren eine größere Gruppe, seit über vier Monaten war reserviert, leider war nicht wie geplant die Martinsstube (separat im Obergeschoss) für uns geplant. Nach einigem Hin-und-Her wurde unsere Gruppe doch noch dorthin umgesetzt. Hier war leider weder etwas vorbereitet noch weihnachtlich dekoriert oä. Trotz vorab Bestellung hat es leider sehr lange gedauert bis das Essen serviert wurde. Hierfür habe ich auch immer noch Verständnis, da ich nicht beurteilen kann wie viel Personal an diesem Abend zur Verfügung stand. Leider war es auf Nachfrage dann auch nicht mehr möglich ein Dessert zu bestellen. Auch Getränke wurden nur sehr widerwillig und in sehr fragwürdiger Form serviert. (Aperol im Krug?) Allgemein waren die beiden für uns zuständigen Kollegen im Service sehr unfreundlich und der Abend endete sehr plötzlich, bereits bestellte Getränke wurden auch nicht mehr serviert. Ich war wirklich entsetzt über dieses Verhalten in einem Dienstleistungsberuf. Sehr schade, unser Abend wird uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben- nur eben nicht positiv.

Bei unserem Kurzausflug haben wir dieses Lokal entdeckt und waren rundum zufrieden. Das Essen ist typisch bayrisch und war super zubereitet. Das Lokal ist einen Besuch wert!
