Very nice, large and shady beer garden with very good food and friendly staff

We were there as a large group. The waiter was moderately motivated. Some people at the table had to make a very loud noise to order more drinks. I had cheese spaetzle for dinner; they were okay, but that was it. The spaetzle were definitely from a package and dry. In my opinion, there are better alternatives. The others at the table were satisfied with their food.

Top-notch pub in Landshut! The Augustiner beer tastes fantastic here, and the Bavarian specialties are first-class. The pork knuckle is especially delicious. The service is friendly, and the beer garden on the Isar River is beautiful. Highly recommended!

A bad mood comes free with the long wait.

That was a real disappointment. We sat there for *over 40 minutes* and no one came. At first, the menus were *thrown on the table*, and the waitress said: *"No one's going to serve you today anyway, there's too much going on on the terrace."* And that's exactly how it was: *no one came*. After 40 minutes, we just left. The people at the next table had the same experience – *waited for a long time, got nothing, then got up and left*. *That's not how you treat people.* I'm not coming back and I'm advising someone else to go there.

The food, as at any Augustiner, was very good, as was the beer. Service could have been a bit faster, since the beer you ordered doesn't have to be brewed first, but there were already plenty of guests there. The ambiance was like that of a classic pub.

Delicious pastries and friendly staff, cozy and quiet

Passing through Landshut on a rainy day. I landed from Munich in the morning, checked into my hotel down the street and came here for food. Ordered the Schweinebraten and a few different beers. Food was very good. Beer, of course was great, and experienced very kind service. I forgot to get cash before I came and so wasn’t able to tip the server. She was so kind and said, “maybe next time.” I hate to not leave a tip and so went to get cash, gave to the server and had a few more Beers. Haha. Good place. Good people. I’m not sure I will be in Landshut again but will recommend to anyone who does. Appreciate the hospitality!

Absolutely not recommended, be it for the food or even working there!! Apparently you need a qualification to work in the kitchen there, ridiculous!!! Verbal promises are not kept. If you express your opinion on Facebook you get deleted, bad business, zero stars preferred!!!

The waitresses, Robert and Maria, are particularly friendly and attentive. A huge compliment! Great atmosphere! First-class food! We regret not living in Landshut. A wonderful evening! Many thanks to the entire team.

The location is good, but unfortunately they poured my beer badly, so I lost two stars... and overall it was very expensive.

Great beer garden. Really nice. ONLY the service was a complete disaster. And let's not even talk about friendliness and politeness. We waited over half an hour for a raspberry mousse tart. So, we enjoyed it. But after today, I don't know if we'll come back. Because we're the paying guests, the waitress wouldn't give us the money. What a shame...

Disappointing: The manager refused to exchange a completely flat beer, saying, "That's fine - there's nothing new." He had the waiter, who was very uncomfortable, tell us this from the bar. Later, he added, "If we think he can't pour a beer, we can still order a spritzer." You shouldn't take your ego out on your guests... The salad, unfortunately, was overpriced at €15, with a few lettuce leaves, two tomato halves, and three strips of bell pepper. The Obadzda (a kind of beer) tasted very strong... Conclusion: There are much better beer gardens in and around Landshut.

It was a corporate event, so it was a bit loud. But the most important thing was the food, ambiance, and service. Everything was very good. The Bavarian delicacies were delicious.

A beautiful beer garden with mature trees. Quaint, nestled among residential buildings, just a few minutes' walk from the center. The food and beer were a delight, and the service was prompt.

Update June 2025: It can get busier on Sundays (e.g., during music events), and there may be a (longer) wait... Great, rustic Bavarian beer garden - the food is generously sized and very tasty (homemade potato salad!); the price/performance ratio is quite reasonable. Excellent service - Wi-Fi available. We'd love to come back!

Very nice beer garden under large, shady trees. The food was delicious. I had the rolled roast with potato salad for €12.90 and a large rhubarb spritzer. My girlfriend had a wedding salad, well, that wasn't so good. Bavarians know how to do meat 😀 The service was friendly, quick, and helpful. We'll be back.

Whether in the beer garden or the pub atmosphere, you'll feel at home here. Large chestnut trees provide shade in the beer garden. A huge plus in the summer. The value for money is simply amazing (unfortunately, that's not so much a given these days). I'll be back anytime, whether as a couple or in a group. Card payments are also perfectly acceptable. Waren an einem sonnigen Pfingstmontag hier in Landshut. Irritierend war das viele Wirtshäuser geschlossen waren und wir so gut wie keine Bairische Gaststätte in der Altstadt gefunden haben. Der Durst und Hunger konnte dann hier gestillt werden. Der Biergarten war proppenvoll also sollte es hier gut sein. Und so war es auch. Wir entscheiden uns für den Klassiker Corrywurst das Bier kommt hier von der Augustiner Brauerei die Bedienung war top und die Preise fair. Wir haben uns hier als Gast wohlgefühlt.

We were at your beer garden at Easter with a cycling group of 20 people. Together with the very friendly welcome, the delicious Bavarian food and the very friendly waitress Sabine, we continued our journey happily strengthened. Until next time and hopefully our Sabine will be back!

Never again - rude waitress and disrespectful owner We were really disappointed. The waitress was extremely unfriendly and showed no courtesy whatsoever. She immediately reacted rudely to a completely normal question. Unfortunately, the owner was no help either - on the contrary: his reaction was just as disrespectful and uncomprehending. This kind of behavior is absolutely unacceptable for a restaurant. The food was okay, but you lose your appetite when you're treated like that. Definitely the last visit for us.

Not recommended, service very unfriendly.

We have reserved a table for 20 people. After we arrived, the tables were placed next to each other so that 20 people couldn't sit together. We pushed the tables together independently and made sure that the waitress could continue to serve other guests. From here the problems started and the service was just annoyed. When it came time to order, all we heard was. We don't have it anymore and so on. We were there for the fifth time in a row and left over €1000 there within two weeks. When Larissa served us, everything was fine. However, the poor service and their bad mood on their guests took it out on us. The whole thing then escalated when the manager turned us away from the restaurant without asking any questions as to why it had gotten so high in the first place. I can only advise against this restaurant with larger groups, as the management apparently doesn't need the whole thing.

Very good "Lower Bavarian stew". Some details are missing (in my opinion), such as grated cheese, etc. Very fast service considering the number of people in the hall. Draft beer (tried several types) Augustiner very good. Ambience typical of classic German beer halls.

I just had the worst beer goulash. The quality of the meat was really bad.

Traditional Bavarian restaurant, great food, great beer

Wherever it says Augustiner, there is quality. That also applies here! A great meal, whether warm or snack, large portions and of course a great beer in an idyllic setting. A very clear recommendation from me and I look forward to my next visit where I can enjoy it.

Very nice restaurant, not quite modern-day but rather traditional Bavarian style place, that's been a great example of what a classic good restaurant here in Bayern (Bavaria) looks like. Great delicious, fresh home made food, quickly cooked and served. This pork, which I had, was a Niederbayern (Lower Bavaria) specialty of the cuisine (on the menu it's called 'Schweinebraten vom Wammerl') is something out of this world! 🇩🇪🥩😋 Delicious and tender! Yummy!! It's been served with traditional Knödel (sort of big potato noodles) and sauerkraut (pickled cabbage). All was incredibly tasty and delicious! Loved it! And of course absolutely outstanding beer!🍺👍🏻 Here straight from the keg, they pour into glasses the very finest Augustiner draft beer, which is definitely one of my top top favorite ones! 💯🔥🍺👌🏻 Very nice and friendly staff, and yes, obviously I'll be back here again to give it a try of something else. 😎👍🏻

We ate in the restaurant, which is truly uniquely beautiful. The roast pork was good! The salad cost 12 euros. Unfortunately, there was nothing on the plate except a few leaves, a cherry tomato, and three small strips of bell pepper. Overall, I found the food very, very expensive. But the salad topped everything. The lady at the counter was rude. The server was very nice. We won't go there again.

We stopped here by chance, looking for a place to eat on Women's Day 25. City was incredibly crowded. The beer garden was just being remodeled. We were lucky and were able to sit down at the beer table. It's nice that the city was so full. I haven't met such nice people in a long time. Greetings to you from the Chiemsee. Nice service, nice dining room. Unfortunately the food didn't suit our taste. Potato dumplings tasted like nothing. Roast pork was far too fatty, venison goulash was too tough. In the side salad the leaves were very large, difficult to eat.

A real Lower Bavarian beer garden with appropriate gastronomy. You can park about 200 m away or directly in front of the house. Fast, friendly service, clear menu, price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. Take a look at the pictures and there was even fresh bread on Sundays 🍞. Always my pleasure.

We were at the restaurant at 9:25 p.m. We were told that the kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m. and so we can't get any more food. I found the large sign at the entrance saying “we have hot food all the time” to be a joke considering the opening time is until midnight.
