Augustiner - Gasthaus zur Schleuse in Landshut

If it says Augustiner on the outside, you'll find quality. That's true here too! Excellent food, whether hot or snack, generous portions, and, of course, a fantastic beer in an idyllic, traditional setting. I definitely recommend it, and I'm looking forward to my next visit, where I can enjoy it all.

Very nice restaurant, not quite modern-day but rather traditional Bavarian style place, that's been a great example of what a classic good restaurant here in Bayern (Bavaria) looks like. Great delicious, fresh home made food, quickly cooked and served. This pork, which I had, was a Niederbayern (Lower Bavaria) specialty of the cuisine (on the menu it's called 'Schweinebraten vom Wammerl') is something out of this world! 🇩🇪🥩😋 Delicious and tender! Yummy!! It's been served with traditional Knödel (sort of big potato noodles) and sauerkraut (pickled cabbage). All was incredibly tasty and delicious! Loved it! And of course absolutely outstanding beer!🍺👍🏻 Here straight from the keg, they pour into glasses the very finest Augustiner draft beer, which is definitely one of my top top favorite ones! 💯🔥🍺👌🏻 Very nice and friendly staff, and yes, obviously I'll be back here again to give it a try of something else. 😎👍🏻

We ate in the restaurant, which is truly uniquely beautiful. The roast pork was good! The salad cost 12 euros. Unfortunately, there was nothing on the plate except a few leaves, a cherry tomato, and three small strips of bell pepper. Overall, I found the food very, very expensive. But the salad topped everything. The lady at the counter was rude. The server was very nice. We won't go there again.

We stopped here by chance, looking for a place to eat on Women's Day 25. City was incredibly crowded. The beer garden was just being remodeled. We were lucky and were able to sit down at the beer table. It's nice that the city was so full. I haven't met such nice people in a long time. Greetings to you from the Chiemsee. Nice service, nice dining room. Unfortunately the food didn't suit our taste. Potato dumplings tasted like nothing. Roast pork was far too fatty, venison goulash was too tough. In the side salad the leaves were very large, difficult to eat.

Fantastically beautiful beer garden. Probably the most beautiful in Landshut. You sit on comfortable chairs in the gravel under chestnut trees. The service was very friendly and the beer tasted excellent. If we had known that cod was available, we wouldn't have made a reservation at the Greek restaurant. Next time we'll know. A real Lower Bavarian beer garden with appropriate gastronomy. You can park about 200 m away or directly in front of the house. Fast, friendly service, clear menu, price-performance ratio is perfectly fine. Take a look at the pictures and there was even fresh bread on Sundays 🍞. Always my pleasure.

We were at the restaurant at 9:25 p.m. We were told that the kitchen closes at 9:30 p.m. and so we can't get any more food. I found the large sign at the entrance saying “we have hot food all the time” to be a joke considering the opening time is until midnight.

Bavarian good home cooking including a large beer garden in the typical Augustinian restaurant flair. Unfortunately, price-performance has declined somewhat in recent years. Very cozy beer garden in a good location. The roast pork was absolutely excellent with a perfect crust, and we had what is currently Munich's rarest gold - the legendary Augustiner Alcohol-free Hell. By the way, the speed of the kitchen is particularly impressive; some other inns can take a few steps from this.

Today I had a schnitzel with potato salad. Unfortunately it wasn't worth the 15 euros. Schnitzel was in the deep fryer for too short a time, so it was still completely light, the back was very greasy and not crispy. The potato salad tasted weak. Unfortunately there was no ketchup or cranberries either. The beer garden with its chestnut trees offers beautiful shade in summer.

Hello Landshuters, yesterday we had dinner in the Zur Schleuse beer garden for a long time. The food was good as always and the beer garden was very cozy, the only thing that wasn't working at all was our service. We arrived and she was totally unfriendly and completely overwhelmed right from the start. She just reacted in a totally annoyed manner and was unfriendly towards us. If someone doesn't enjoy their job as a waitress, why am I working in this industry??? So the food was good, the service was a disaster. That's not how you treat guests, something like that is just unprofessional for me. The best thing for last, she also wanted a tip.😄

Service is terrible. There is no Almdudler, penne with chanterelles, or cheese spaetzle. My God, and then the waitress insults us so rudely instead of accommodating us in any way. You immediately feel unloaded. Good service looks different.

Typical local cuisine, very tasty, spiciness that the Italian palate is not used to but appreciable, especially on the goulash which I recommend (very good), another dish that we appreciated are the meatballs, also highly recommended, the potato salad is very particular for Italians, to be tasted by experience. We stayed in Landshut for 2 days and returned to eat here whenever possible It has an internal garden, there are some bees and some wasps

Under the new team with Florian Wühr and his excellent team, whether in service or in the kitchen, the "Schleisn" is again what it is supposed to be: cozy with delicious Bavarian delicacies (often there is excellent Steckerlfisch and unusual tarte flambée). And the rustic beer garden does the rest for an unforgettable summer evening in the heart of Landshut. Last but not least, it should be mentioned that all important sporting events are broadcast. EM public viewing: Unfortunately, service at the table was rare, the food came lukewarm and, unlike usual, €1 per slice of bread was charged for the snack plate. So far always €1 for 2-4 slices. The cheese and sausage were also dried out. I no longer go to beer garden events, it's sad that the evening was so late for the otherwise good quality and unfriendly service.

Geschmacklich leider sehr fad. Leider wurde uns auch nicht mitgeteilt, dass es neben der normalen Speisekarte zwei Tagesgerichte gibt. Service - leider eine nicht wirklich freundliche junge Dame, welche leicht genervt wirkte. Man sitzt sehr schön in einem Kastaniengarten.

Tageskarte 01.05.2024: das Gericht an diesem Tag(Putengeschnetzelte) gab es nicht, ohne weiteres Kommentar, außer "tut mir Leid, gibt es heute nicht"!!! (obwohl auf der Karte am Tisch, vor dem Biergarten und im Internet(gemäß Anhang!!!) Zusätzliches Weinglas zur 0,5 Liter Weinschorle im Krug ist nicht möglich!(das war ein Jahr zuvor... schöner Biergarten, aber ohne jegliche Verbindlichkeit und Menschlichkeit!
