Zollhaus in Landshut

We were there for the Christmas party and a lot went wrong... several Christmas parties on the same evening and we weren't given the promised adjoining room. Instead, we were seated next to the regulars' table, which of course didn't make it easy to give speeches at first. The regulars' table was then very considerate and quiet in these moments. Thanks for that! Unfortunately the soup was really spicy, otherwise rather tasteless. The main course (burger with sweet potato fries) was okay, not the usual customs house quality. The desserts were always the same (vanilla ice cream with hot raspberries or with apple fritters), but some of the apple fritters were missing. At an announced Christmas party with over 30 people, only having 6 apple cakes is sad. I waited several times for more than 30 minutes to drink. Very sad! And to be able to order too.

The inn is very nice and clean inside. What's great is that it's an open kitchen. We had the Zollhaus Pfandl and Käsespätzle. I think the portion is a bit small for this price. The other inns usually serve pork loin and not pork schnitzel like here. The taste was OK, a bit salty but that's a matter of taste. But the meat was very tender.

Zum Kalbsschnitzel gab es keine Preiselbeeren. Kaiserschmarrn war im Gegensatz zu früher eine sehr kleine Portion. Preis-/Leistung passt leider nicht mehr.

I ate a salad with goat cheese. Unfortunately, more than half was just dressed cabbage and carrot salad. This made the whole salad quite sour. For almost €17 I would have expected better quality. Price/performance was not right here. Drink prices are higher than in nearby places.

It's nice that you can't even exchange the beer tokens you've paid for food in a restaurant like any sensible, non-cheating innkeeper would do... And saying "it's a different company" doesn't even count, perhaps in the eyes of the law. But it's a mess that you keep ripped off money from a second company and have a good time with another company with completely the same owner and address.

Yesterday I ordered a fillet steak for €75. Unfortunately the cook missed the doneness by a wide margin. Steak was ordered medium rare, but I received it raw. The core was still really cold. Inedible.

Very nice Bavarian restaurant. Friendly and competent service. All service employees in traditional costume. Jawoi. Very good food at acceptable prices. Personally, I find the drinks a bit expensive.

Small portion great price :-( It was different before! Tavern flair... Parking spaces dark :-( Unfortunately, our waitress didn't speak much German, so we decided to buy the nightcap somewhere else. It's a shame, the store wasn't that bad. 2 people €70 just for food and a drink each is not without, for a pub.

Good cuisine, unfortunately very, very long waiting times until a waiter even comes to take the order. 20 minutes to order drinks and 40 minutes to order food on the bus is simply not enough staff.

It was packed in the restaurant on the evening of the last game of the ice hockey tournament. Every last seat was filled with ice hockey fans. The barman was busy rotating behind the counter and the two waiters, dressed in genuine Bavarian leather clothes, bustled back and forth. Despite the high occupancy, we were quickly seated at our reserved table and the barman patiently took our drink order. Because of the high utilization, you might think that you have to wait forever for your order, but that's wrong: everything came after a reasonable amount of time. And in the right order. Almost forgot, the food was great, tasty and freshly prepared. The cheese spaetzle is a dream. The menu is clear, large selection of beers and wine. Prices are reasonable. Here again big compliments to the bar, service and kitchen. The fact that everything runs like clockwork, tastes delicious, and in a reasonable time given the high demand deserves respect. In our opinion, the Zollhaus is the No. 1 restaurant in Landshut. Wait, there is one point of criticism: The intermediate door in the men's room squeaks miserably. ;-)

Great restaurant, were just there (Saturday evening). Everything full. Service very friendly and accommodating. Nice seating options. Large selection of dishes, there is something for everyone here. Food arrived after only a short time and was very tasty. The parking spaces are a bit poorly signposted, but otherwise very great and definitely recommended.

We had the Zollhaus Pfandl, the dry aged burger, the apple cake and the apple strudel. Our service was super nice, took every guest into account and kept an eye on everything. We would love to come back! Are we then again a real pleasure!!!!

We were there for the first time and were very positively surprised, everything was just great, we'll be back.

As part of a private celebration, I was able to enjoy several courses... the food was really good, everything was beautifully presented, tender meat, delicious side dishes and the dessert - a dream! The service: courteous, attentive, friendly. I have already booked the next celebration.

There were four of us there today, there wasn't much going on, so it was very pleasant. Great service, very tasty food! Prices are justified. Gladly again! :)

Cream mushrooms were o.k. But a bit colorless. A little parsley would have brightened it up a bit. The staffing level was either far too short or the staff was hopelessly overwhelmed. Very long waiting times. Nice beer garden under chestnut trees, but uncomfortable chairs.

We were in the customs house as part of the pub crime thriller. We actually had high expectations of the food as many people raved about it. But we were disappointed. The starter was a tomato soup with croutons, simple and nothing special in taste, just like at home. The main course was a sauerbraten with red cabbage and Böhmer dumplings. Unfortunately, one slice of meat was completely dry and hard, the second was so tough that I couldn't bite the meat. The sauce was out of the bucket. It really tasted like a flavor enhancer and was the dark sauce for everything. There was no sign of sauerbraten. Unfortunately, the red cabbage only tasted like soup powder and spices. Did you have to cover up anything with it? I also had the feeling that the serving of the main course came to a standstill about halfway through and nothing came out of the kitchen. The dessert was okay, but the meal saved your scoop of blackcurrant sorbet. Drink prices are already very high. The really positive thing: The service was great.

The building and the beer garden are very nice. We were there with a very large travel group. The courts were reported in advance. We would have stayed there for 2 hours and some of us got our food shortly before departure. You couldn't order a second drink because they were completely overwhelmed. Very unfortunate.

Absolutely sensational inn found by chance. Very stylishly furnished (tradition and modern beautifully combined) A very attentive, friendly young waitress. The food was impeccable. (If you want to complain at a high level, you could point out that the fish was no longer glassy but rather got a little too much heat - please take it with a wink) The crusty roast with two types of dumplings and the pike perch on Emmarisotto were very well prepared and beautifully presented! Price performance is good! We'll be back... Even though we have to drive from Munich...

Unfortunately not so good. The website promises upscale gastronomy. The service can be expanded. Our order - 6 adults and 2 children - came one after the other. The first children's meal, dumplings without sauce, came with an unfortunately greasy sauce. The second children's meal was brought last but one. The ribs were dry. Crusty roast, Lüngerl and burgers okay. Cheese spaetzle and venison goulash rather little cheese and little seasoning. Price/performance ratio is not right. The service staff should be trained. It's a shame, we were really looking forward to our stay, but unfortunately nothing happened.

Everything is perfect here - starting with the parking lot, ground level entrance, as well as ground level toilets (great for people with walking difficulties :O), cozy furnishings, super friendly and fast service, food more than sufficient and very tasty. All around great. Thanks :O)

Best pub in Landshut. The Zollhaus is my favorite of the inns in Landshut. The food is good to very good, and this also applies to the wine list. The service is extremely attentive, which is certainly due to the excellent management of Patrick Schmidt. We recently celebrated my wife's 60th birthday here. Everything was fine. Clear recommendation!

Great food, nice staff and fast service. On the recommendation of our inn, we went to the beautiful restaurant for a quick meal and were very surprised at how well and quickly the food was prepared and tasted. If we are in the area again we would be happy to come back

I return over and over to Landshut Zollhaus What a authentic and loving atmosphere they have built, feeling like grandma's Sunday dinners. Plenty of outdoor seating shaded by the local Bavaria trees, and local beers flowing on tap. House made meed, the most friendly servers. Large restaurant but makes you feel like family and home. Even put on 90s Red hot chili peppers, green day along with other hits from the 90s after it got later.

It's a very nice restaurant. Sadly, the service is very bad and the food isn't worth the money. We came as a very large group, ordered drinks with 4 different bartenders and still we had to wait for +30min to get them. Very bad

1 hour wait for food, it tasted good, but a lot of people liked it too much. Kaiserschmarren was beautifully presented and was tasty, Tafelspitz was a bit hard, more soup than main course. Staff louder than guests, ambience - no music, old, uncomfortable seating.

Were there for the baptism with around 12 people. All the food was very good and the service was very friendly and patient despite the full tables and stressful day. Despite the full house, the food came to our table warm and relatively promptly (vis-à-vis the children's meals - much earlier - thank you). Can always be recommended.

We were invited to a birthday party. A very nice and cozy inn, the food was very good and the portions were absolutely sufficient! In any case, this economy is worth a visit. The service was friendly and attentive.

Went there to eat white sausage. Everything fitted. Friendly service.

The food in the customs house is very tasty. However, the portions are incredibly large and almost impossible to manage. We were there with 15 people and no one finished their portion, even though we were very hungry. Unfortunately the prices are very high. So you pay a lot of money and some of the food has to be thrown away. If the portion sizes were normal, the dishes could be offered a little cheaper. But as I said, the quality of the food is great.

We went to the crime dinner on February 10th. The starter was Obatzten and greaves. And white bread. I only got a completely dark cut because no more bread was brought for the spread, instead the remaining spread was removed after a while. The next course was a soup with semolina dumplings, fried dumplings and a few pancake strips. That could have used a little more spice, but it's probably a matter of taste. The main course was beef roulade with red cabbage and mashed potatoes. I've never had such a dry, fibrous roulade. I was glad when I choked it down. Strangely, my table guests agreed with me on this point. Dessert was two types of mousse. I tried the white one briefly, but returned it because it was just super sweet. The dark one reminded me of the mousse from the discount store. Conclusion: I would have done it that way too, but I don't come from the catering industry!

TOP food, TOP service Venison saddle was very tender and cooked to perfection. Extraordinary side salad with 6 different leaf salads, carrot salad, cucumber salad, coleslaw, tomatoes, herbs, pine nuts, pumpkin seeds, nuts... finely seasoned mustard vinigrette... simply great! Cheese spaetzle very fine with high quality cheese => creamy not oily with the very high quality side salad easily worth the money! Kaiserschmarrn is simply divine! Well toasted on the outside, fluffy on the inside. Lots of berries, good portion! 2 days later back…crust roast very good! Service and ambience TOP!

Wie waren innerhalb zwei Wochen dort. Aber unterschiedlicher hätte es nicht sein können. Hatte das Gefühl, (weil wir vorab erwähnt hatten, noch restliche Festmarken einlösen zu wollen) daß hier absichtlich weniger auf dem Teller war (was jetzt keine Beschwerde sein soll, denn wir wurden trotzdem satt), Getränke die teurere Variante gebracht wurde... Ohne Festmarkenerwähnung vorab war alles tipitopi!!!

Leckeres Schnitzel mit Salat. Sehr freundliches Personal

Wir waren unter der Woche mittags vor Ort. Das Restaurant war sehr leer und gefühlt eher von Mitarbeitern besucht, das hat dem Besuch aber keinen Abbruch getan. Das Essen ist sicher nicht günstig, die Portion dafür sehr groß und geschmacklich hervorragend. Der Service war ebenfalls fantastisch und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder!

Servicepersonal sehr sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sie entschuldigten sich mehrfach bei uns für die Verzögerung in der Küche. Wir mussten knapp über 2 Stunden auf unser Essen warten. Schweinefleisch war teilweise nicht durchgebraten. Die zu dem Gericht gehörenden Spätzle waren Käsespätzle = war viel zu üppig! Der Rest war lecker.

Sehr lecker👌👌👌, Personal sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend, 👌 Wenn wir in Landshut wieder Urlaub machen, kommen wir auf jeden Fall wieder.

Wir waren zu fünft (inkl. 3 Kids) angereist (45Min Fahrzeit) Soweit alles gut und in Ordnung. Bis die Rechnung kam. Die Preise waren bis zu 2€ teurer als auf der Speisekarte. Auf Nachfrage hieß es, es tut uns leid, dass sind noch alte Karten. Keine Rückerstattung, kein Kaffee, keine andere Entschuldigung, nix, nur Worte. Außerdem war der Parkplatz kaum begehbar auf Grund des Schneematsches (vor allem für unsere 3-jährige Tochter) Wir werden nicht mehr kommen.

Leider nicht zu empfehlen Wir waren jetzt zum 3mal dort und leider war es auch dieses Mal wieder nix. Essen kalt, Portionen klein und im Lokal dermaßen kalt, sehr ungemütlich. Schade, es wäre an und für sich ein nettes Lokal. Aber uns sieht man dort nicht mehr

Restaurant mit tollem Personal und top essen 5 Sterne

Es ist ein schönes Lokal, die Angestellten sind freundlich und bemüht. Das Essen ist o.k. manche Gerichte sind oft sehr wenig.

Ausgezeichnete Küche. Das beste Blaukraut, das ich jemals gegessen habe. Die Fleischqualität ist sehr gut. Geschmacklich top, nachwürzen war nicht nötig.

Einfach alles Fantastisch es ist ein Muss dort Einkehr zu halten und Niemand wird es Bereuen 🤗 Schöne Grüße aus Günzburg 🙋‍♂️

Habe lang überlegt ob ich eine Rezension hinterlasse, aber ich denke es ist nur fair andere zukünftige Ehepaare zu warnen. Es war mal richtig gut und als wir unsere Hochzeitsfeier angefangen hatten hier zu planen waren wir auch sehr zuversichtlich. Am Ende wurde viel versprochen aber kaum was gehalten. Mehr Details: Die neue Restaurantleitung hat Alles versucht um unsere Feier zu versauen (während die alte Leitung uns am Ende gerettet hat) - Getränke waren schwer zu bekommen - eigens bestellter Alkohol wurde unzureichend und nur auf mehrmaliges Nachfragen ausgeschenkt - Essen kam viel zu spät - sie selbst war die ganze Zeit schlecht gelaunt und unfreundlich zu den Gästen - Müll wurde durch den Gastraum getragen - trotz Abmachung von einer Feier bis in die Morgenstunden wurden wir um halb 2 rausgebeten - verlangte dafür noch Trinkgeld und als sie das nicht bekam wollte sie plötzlich eine Reinigungsgebühr 2 Sterne gibt's weil's für uns am Ende dann günstiger war, wir danach einen Platz gefunden haben um unsere Feier noch bis 7 fortzusetzen, weil das Essen lecker ist und sie es nicht schaffen konnten unsere Laune am tollsten Tag der Welt zu trüben. Würde es auf jeden Fall nicht für eine Hochzeitsfeier empfehlen, früher war es hier besser. Schade, wollten eigentlich immer zur Feier unseres Hochzeitstages hierher - werden wir nicht tun. Leider wird Feedback ebenfalls nicht angenommen.

Freundlicher Service (längere Wartezeit aufgrund zahlreicher Gäste wurde noch vor der Sitzplatzzuweisung kommuniziert). Das Essen war ausgezeichnet.

Trotz langer Vorbestellung an Sankt Martin und sehr langen warten haben wir ohneGänsekeulen das Lokal hungrig verlassen. Das ist total unqualifiziert.

Vorab, der Service im Innenbereich ist top! Hatte einen Schweinebraten. Die zwei ca. 0,5 cm dicken Scheiben waren trocken und hatten unterschiedliche Formen, scheinbar nicht vom gleichen Stück geschnitten. Eine mit und eine ohne Kruste. Die Soße war mir etwas zu dünn und die Knödel (2x Kartoffel) waren augenscheinlich Convenience und etwas klein. Preis Leistung hat für mich hier nicht gepasst.

Samstag 20:00 Uhr, Filet war aus und Krustenbraten gab's auch nicht mehr. Der Zwiebelrost war aber perfekt Medium

Gestern abend haben wir das Zollhauspfandl und Trüffelpommes mit Salat bestellt. Das Pfandl hat meinem Partner gut geschmeckt. Meine Pommes waren leider eine Zumutung. Mir ist bewusst, dass Pommes zum abholen etwas schwierig sind aber so labbrige Pommes hab ich noch nie gegessen. Nach Trüffel hat leider auch nichts geschmeckt. Das hat auch der Eimer Mayonnaise nicht besser gemacht. Auf dem Salat war kaum Dressing. Sehr enttäuschend. P.s. Bei anderen Wirtshäusern habe ich auch bei Abholung knusprige leckere Pommes bekommen, es ist also möglich.

Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und entgegenkommend, und das Essen lecker.

Lange waren wir nicht mehr da aber es sollte mal wieder das Zollhaus sein. Wirkliche Kritik mann ich keine anbringen. Der Service ist Klasse und auf Zack, das Ambiente super. Aber das Essen war halt "normal". Vor einiger Zeit mal ein echtes Highlight, jetzt leider nur noch "ok". Ich hoffe es war ein Ausrutscher oder die Küche war nur nicht gut drauf. Irgendwie scheint das am Gewürzregal dieses Mal nur vorbei geschlittert zu sein, es fehlte das gewisse etwas. Kein Grund zum aufregen, passt schon. Achja es war der Zwiebelrostbraten...

Waren mit einer größeren Gruppe. Trotz Vorbestellung absolutes Chaos. Essen wurde an unserem Tisch zu unterschiedlichsten Zeitpunkten geliefert, ein Essen fehlte und kam erst nach dreimaliger Nachfrage nachdem alle schon aufgegessen und abgeräumt hatten, natürlich ohne weitere Entschuldigung. Bei der zweiten Nachfrage hieß es "ist das immer noch nicht da, ich habe aber in der Küche bescheid gesagt?!" - Entschuldigung, hier erwarten ich vom Service dass das nacjgehalten wird! Das Pfandl das kann kam, angeblich mit Schweinemedaillons, wurde dann zum selben Preis mit trockenem Schweineschnitzel serviert. Absolut frech.
