The food was tasty and the portion sizes were good for the price. The staff were authentic and not overly friendly. Although I wouldn't go back immediately, the visit was satisfactory overall.

Had lamb chops which were actually quite tasty. Unfortunately I got food poisoning.

One night we found ourselves in Nuremberg and we were lucky to find this restaurant by chance! We went without a reservation and the staff was very kind and happy to help us and find us a table! We ate grilled feta cheese, pleurotus mushrooms, garlic bread, pumpkin meatballs, and beef steaks.. What we ate was excellent and very tasty. Normal prices and kind staff.. I will definitely go again!!

We visited this restaurant as a group and overall had a mixed experience. The kitchen offers high-quality Mediterranean dishes that really impress in terms of taste. Everyone in our group was happy with their meal, and the quality matched the upscale prices we expected. I had heard a lot of good things about the restaurant and was not disappointed with the food. However, the service was a big disappointment. The waiters were unfriendly and rude, which didn't fit at all with the upscale image of the restaurant and the quality of the food. Beer mats are thrown on the table like in a beer garden. One situation that struck me as particularly negative was when I asked for milk in addition to my drink. The waiter reacted disproportionately harshly and told me loudly that there was no milk. My Greek friend then politely asked again in his native language because the drinks menu offered cappuccino - so there had to be milk. But here too the waiter remained unfriendly and just repeated: “No, we don’t.” Five minutes later he suddenly stood next to me wordlessly and asked without context: “Hot or cold?” The whole interaction was unpleasant and in a restaurant of this class completely inappropriate. Another point of criticism was the “yoghurt with honey and walnuts”. In the menu it was described as “our fine drained yoghurt”, which wasn’t clear enough for me. When ordering, I asked about the portion size and the waiter mentioned “Greek yogurt.” I then assumed that it was the typical, creamy Greek yogurt that you would find in other Greek restaurants. Instead I got a normal yoghurt like from the supermarket, which didn't convince me in terms of consistency or taste or was reminiscent of Greek yoghurt - and that for €7.50. A clearer name in the menu or a better explanation from the waiter would have been helpful here. Last: My friend had pumpkin soup that was too salty for her. However, the seasoning was appropriate for the other dishes in the group. Overall, the food was convincing, but the service and the price-performance ratio of some dishes severely spoiled the overall impression. Otherwise the decoration and other food was really very good. Maybe the Kellerns just had a stressful day!?

Wir waren hier zum Weihnachtsessen mit der Firma. Unauffälliges Restaurant von außen. Das eigentliche Restaurant liegt in der unteren Etage. Sehr schöne aufgeteilt und die einzelnen Bereiche mit Spiegeln optisch vergrößert…. Obwohl das Lokal bis auf den letzten Platz besetzt war, war der Service und auch das Essen top. Sehr aufmerksam, freundlich, diskret - nicht aufdringlich oder gestresst. Wunderbar!

My parents and I have come to this place since I was a teenager and now I continue this tradition with my family; overall approx. 40 years. There might have been a change in ownership after the pandemic but the food and service is great as always. We will be back.

We only ended up here by chance because our navigation system wanted to show us Nuremberg. But we were attracted by the very inviting restaurant. Like apparently many others. Nevertheless, the very nice service staff managed to find a place for us. The waiting time was shortened with a pilavas. The food that awaited us afterwards was brilliant. I had a lamb shank that was so tender that you could have eaten it without cutlery. This restaurant is absolutely recommended!

This time I was invited to dinner at lunchtime. The menu was definitely sufficiently stocked. I chose Kritharaki with minced meat and cheese. An excellent choice, as it turned out. The portion was more than enough for a lunch menu and the taste was excellent. Gladly again! And this time too... the restaurant was filled to capacity. The food was excellent.

My favorite Greek restaurant in Nuremberg and the surrounding area for over 20 years. The food is always fantastic, the service is fast and super friendly and the atmosphere is stylish but still cozy! An institution! Keep it up, dear Delphi team.

Have been there several times, unfortunately always very loud because there are always so many guests. Today it was so loud that it was almost impossible to have a conversation without almost having to scream, which is a shame :( Furthermore, the service was so quick and the glasses and dishes were cleared away that you felt like you were being "dispatched quickly" - cozy is different. However, the food was really very good! We will still look for another restaurant in the future.

We were there for the Christmas party. The waiter who served us (black hair with a braid) was very, very unfriendly and always made stupid comments. When I ordered another Spezi, he refused to bring it to me for unknown reasons and asked me in a disrespectful tone how often I would like to order another Spezi!! After almost half an hour he brought me the friend and, without comment, simply laid it down disrespectfully and immediately disappeared again. Also please tell this waiter to use deodorant as he smelled awful and everything smelled full of sweat. Trained and friendly employees should work in a restaurant like this and enjoy their job!!! Since he was very unfriendly to almost all of us, we didn't give him a tip. He then started asking several times if we really just wanted to pay the price without leaving a tip and kept making stupid comments to himself!!! This is under the radar!!! He should first learn to be friendly with people and show some respect before asking for tips!!!! As long as such untrained, unfriendly, disrespectful employees work there, we will not come back!!!!

I would say THE Greek. I love the Delphi! I recommend the warm appetizer platter for 2 people with tzatziki and pita I also recommend the pan gyros in Metaxa sauce with butter rice. We also love the broad beans in tomato sauce.

The atmosphere is pleasantly classic. Since the restaurant is located in the basement and therefore only has artificial light sources, it is more suitable for dinner. The restaurant appears clean, but unfortunately there is a bad smell in one of the toilets. The soap dispensers could also be overhauled again. The price is in a range that is a bit too high for the service provided (good, but not exceptional Greek food).

Food and ambience were very good. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't interested in generating more sales because they ripped the menu out of your hand during the selection process in order to put the menu back in its rightful place. There were incomprehensible surcharges for the food and the staff was a little too "touchy".

Delicious Greek in the basement. Go here for lunch often. The highlight is the large selection of free wine for self-service in the entrance area

Von außen ein unscheinbarer Eingang, wenn man aber die Treppe nach unten geht betritt man die griechische Welt des Lokals Delphi. Wir waren hier mit Freunden zum Essen verabredet und haben es zu keinem Zeitpunkt bereut. Die Kellner und ganz besonders der Chef des Restaurants waren jederzeit super freundlich und hilfsbereit und auch kleine Sonderwünsche beim Essen wurden ohne Probleme umgesetzt. Das Essen an sich war total lecker und ansprechend angerichtet. Auch die Wartezeiten waren trotz vollem Lokal mehr als annehmbar. Alles in allem gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, nettes und zuvorkommendes Team und die perfekte Adresse für einen Abend mit Freunden oder Familie.

The Delphi Wärmsteins was recommended to us, but unfortunately we were rather disappointed. We got a table at the weekend even without a reservation after we were greeted in a nice and friendly manner. Starters and main courses came out of the kitchen very quickly, there was hardly any waiting time. Unfortunately, the Metaxa sauce was quite tasteless and there was some gristle in the gyro, so I lost my appetite. Unfortunately, this was taken as an insult. After the waiter asked me three times why I wasn't eating it, the manager came. He asked me what cartilage actually was. As a guest, I am not obliged to explain to a restaurateur how meat components are structured. He came to us again without asking with a plate of gyros without sauce. Here I was supposed to sort out all the cartilage parts. I denied this. The manager came to us three more times, mumbled something briefly and then left again before we finally paid. Such behavior is unprofessional and not appropriate! Not only we, but also the neighboring tables found this behavior more than strange and inappropriate. Otherwise the dishes looked good. However, this incident rules out another visit.

Last night the four of us spontaneously went to the Delphi. We were warmly welcomed and given a table. The service was friendly and attentive throughout, with the exception of one really rude/annoyed employee (tall, strong build, hair tied in a small braid). It's still 5 stars because everyone has a bad day, especially when you work with people all day. Nevertheless, this employee should not be tempted to take out his bad mood on the guests. The prices for the food seem high, but given the quality of the food and the portion size, we're happy to pay that. It was very tasty throughout, not overly seasoned. However, a 0.75 mineral water for €7 is already in the upper price league. However, not unusual for the location of the restaurant. We would love to come back and try more delicacies.

This is our second time visiting this restaurant. I like everything about this restaurant: the atmosphere, the service and the quality of the food. We would gladly come again and recommend to others. I really liked the cuisine, everything was very tasty, including the wine, the service was complete delight, attentiveness, and tact at the highest level. Only positive memories remain.

This Greek restaurant may be more expensive than others, this is probably due to the location. The food tastes excellent – ​​fresh, authentic and cleverly prepared. I was particularly impressed by the starters and the mixed platter. The staff was polite and attentive without being intrusive. Special requests were gladly fulfilled. There is an outdoor area that has been partitioned off in front of the store. Reservation is necessary.

I think the peak has been exceeded when it comes to charging. The prices are simply an announcement to anyone who appreciates good Greek cuisine. What some shop owners don't understand: Don't act as if a large taverna is a high-end product of culinary delicacies. There are currently a lot of "luxury Greeks" who demand a lot of money but don't understand that it can be done even better and cheaper. Develop yourselves!

Das Dephi ist wohl DIE Adresse für gute gehobene griechische Küche in Nürnberg. Das ist sicher nicht unverdient! Mitten in der Innenstadt wird hier seit vielen Jahren griechische Küche serviert die sich qualitativ vom normalen Griechen um die Ecke abhebt. Service, Speisen sowie eine gut sortierte Wein und Getränke Karte sorgen hier für das gewisse Extra! Mittlerweile hat man auch einige Tische im Aussenbereich jedoch sehr nah an der Straße. Was bleibt ist die Parkplatz Problematik in der Innenstadt. Das sollte man aber deviant in Kauf nehmen. Es lohnt sich!

The Herme plate was very tasty and fairly priced. The ambience is dark with wine cellar charm. However, the drink prices are quite expensive. Especially since you automatically get the Uso at the reception and it is probably included in the price of the “normal drinks”. It would therefore be appropriate to only serve the Uso upon request. (Reference: 0.33 l Cola = €4.50)

We selected this restaurant because we were hungry for Greek food and it was close. What a find!! We had been traveling in Europe for over 2 weeks and this was one of our top meals. The food was great and the service was wonderful! We were a group of 5 and all of us loved the meal!
