Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were warmly welcomed. The food was super tasty and well prepared. Great ambience and staff. We had a lovely evening and will definitely be back!

Food and ambience were very good. Unfortunately, the staff wasn't interested in generating more sales because they ripped the menu out of your hand during the selection process in order to put the menu back in its rightful place. There were incomprehensible surcharges for the food and the staff was a little too "touchy".

Delicious Greek in the basement. Go here for lunch often. The highlight is the large selection of free wine for self-service in the entrance area

We have enjoyed going here for many years. The quality is consistently at a high level. The waiters are always quick and friendly. The food is very tasty. There are now more vegetarian dishes and even a separate menu with vegetarian and vegan dishes. Simply great!

The Delphi Wärmsteins was recommended to us, but unfortunately we were rather disappointed. We got a table at the weekend even without a reservation after we were greeted in a nice and friendly manner. Starters and main courses came out of the kitchen very quickly, there was hardly any waiting time. Unfortunately, the Metaxa sauce was quite tasteless and there was some gristle in the gyro, so I lost my appetite. Unfortunately, this was taken as an insult. After the waiter asked me three times why I wasn't eating it, the manager came. He asked me what cartilage actually was. As a guest, I am not obliged to explain to a restaurateur how meat components are structured. He came to us again without asking with a plate of gyros without sauce. Here I was supposed to sort out all the cartilage parts. I denied this. The manager came to us three more times, mumbled something briefly and then left again before we finally paid. Such behavior is unprofessional and not appropriate! Not only we, but also the neighboring tables found this behavior more than strange and inappropriate. Otherwise the dishes looked good. However, this incident rules out another visit.

Last night the four of us spontaneously went to the Delphi. We were warmly welcomed and given a table. The service was friendly and attentive throughout, with the exception of one really rude/annoyed employee (tall, strong build, hair tied in a small braid). It's still 5 stars because everyone has a bad day, especially when you work with people all day. Nevertheless, this employee should not be tempted to take out his bad mood on the guests. The prices for the food seem high, but given the quality of the food and the portion size, we're happy to pay that. It was very tasty throughout, not overly seasoned. However, a 0.75 mineral water for €7 is already in the upper price league. However, not unusual for the location of the restaurant. We would love to come back and try more delicacies.

This is our second time visiting this restaurant. I like everything about this restaurant: the atmosphere, the service and the quality of the food. We would gladly come again and recommend to others. I really liked the cuisine, everything was very tasty, including the wine, the service was complete delight, attentiveness, and tact at the highest level. Only positive memories remain.

This Greek restaurant may be more expensive than others, this is probably due to the location. The food tastes excellent – ​​fresh, authentic and cleverly prepared. There is an outdoor area that has been partitioned off in front of the store. Reservation is necessary.

The best Greek restaurant in Nuremberg by far. Great service, great food. Simply brilliant. Highly recommended.

This time I was invited to dinner at lunchtime. The menu was definitely sufficiently stocked. I chose Kritharaki with minced meat and cheese. An excellent choice, as it turned out. The portion was more than enough for a lunch menu and the taste was excellent. Gladly again!

Best Greek I know. Fantastic food and super friendly staff. There is a star deduction for ambience because the restaurant is in the basement. But a MUST if you like Greek food.

I think the peak has been exceeded when it comes to charging. The prices are simply an announcement to anyone who appreciates good Greek cuisine. What some shop owners don't understand: Don't act as if a large taverna is a high-end product of culinary delicacies. There are currently a lot of "luxury Greeks" who demand a lot of money but don't understand that it can be done even better and cheaper. Develop yourselves!

Das Dephi ist wohl DIE Adresse für gute gehobene griechische Küche in Nürnberg. Das ist sicher nicht unverdient! Mitten in der Innenstadt wird hier seit vielen Jahren griechische Küche serviert die sich qualitativ vom normalen Griechen um die Ecke abhebt. Service, Speisen sowie eine gut sortierte Wein und Getränke Karte sorgen hier für das gewisse Extra! Mittlerweile hat man auch einige Tische im Aussenbereich jedoch sehr nah an der Straße. Was bleibt ist die Parkplatz Problematik in der Innenstadt. Das sollte man aber deviant in Kauf nehmen. Es lohnt sich!

The food here is really very good but the staff is simply rude, which is hard to accept, especially given the price. The price is definitely above average. The ambience is above average, especially for a Greek 😉

The Herme plate was very tasty and fairly priced. The ambience is dark with wine cellar charm. However, the drink prices are quite expensive. Especially since you automatically get the Uso at the reception and it is probably included in the price of the “normal drinks”. It would therefore be appropriate to only serve the Uso upon request. (Reference: 0.33 l Cola = €4.50)

We selected this restaurant because we were hungry for Greek food and it was close. What a find!! We had been traveling in Europe for over 2 weeks and this was one of our top meals. The food was great and the service was wonderful! We were a group of 5 and all of us loved the meal!

The biggest drawback from our point of view is the sheer size of the restaurant. We had the feeling that three busloads of people could easily fit in there. Therefore there is no nice, cozy atmosphere - at least not for us. We didn't find the many waiters particularly attentive either. But when someone finally saw us, it was super quick, compliments! It's also a shame that there is no Greek beer à la Fix, Mythos, Alpha or or - that's what I expect from Greek restaurants. All in all, I would give it a school grade of 3+.

Waiters have to work quickly, tables have to be free as quickly as possible. OK... yes, but put the customer under stress, don't even give the drinks menu but the menu card. Just 2 minutes to ask what you want to eat. Give the loud ones time to look at the card in peace and think about it. Even in a fast food shop you had more time to choose your food than here. Food was tasty but very expensive, for a bit of gyros and 3 small slices of squid you pay over 20 euros.

Auch wenn hier so viele positive Bewertungen existieren, leider gegenteilige Erfahrung: Halbvolles Restaurant, es dauert 12 Minuten bis sich einer der vielen Mitarbeiter bequemt die Karte zu bringen, nach weiteren 10 Minuten ist man bereit die Bestellung entgegenzunehmen. Das servierte Essen entspricht weder in Optik, noch Menge noch Geschmack den deutlich überdurchschnittlichen Preisen. Die mehrfache Frage nach Wlan und Passwort - man hat dort nur sehr eingeschränkten Empfang- wird mit dahingenuschelter Antwort sinnlos gemacht. Auch zum Bezahlen braucht es Geduld. All das keim Grund für eine Wiederholung. Zumal Nürnberg jede Menge griechische Restaurants besitzt mit netterem Personal, besserem Essen und hübscherem Ambiente.

A very pleasant place, classy I would say, relaxing and well furnished. Really friendly and helpful staff. Very attentive to customer requests. The dishes were delicious, especially the starters and the fish, with generous portions. Prices not exactly low.

I made a reservation for 7 people for lunch at 1:30 p.m. The reservation went really well over the phone. 👍🏼 4 of the 7 guests arrived a little earlier than the reserved time, we then ordered a starter plate, which was really delicious. 👍🏼 Unfortunately, 3 of the guests arrived about 10 minutes later due to the traffic situation and poor parking in front of the restaurant. Meanwhile the waiter came twice and wanted to take the order. The first time I told him we would like to wait a moment for the others, we wanted to eat together. Then he came a second time and urged me that the kitchen closes at 2:30 p.m. then we simply ordered. We couldn't even order a dish because there wasn't enough time for it. 👎🏼 The food came pretty quickly. 👍🏼 Unfortunately, for 2 people, the red rice was not yet cooked and therefore hard. the meat was tough and rubbery. 👎🏼 The remaining guests then joined in. and one person's meal was catastrophic. the chicken was NOT cooked through and therefore inedible. 👎🏼 It was with a heavy heart that we had to tell the waiter because we actually really enjoy eating at Delphi. Two dishes were then removed from the price. the other dishes were good. I still wonder what the chef was thinking when he gave up the food so heartlessly and half-cooked. I would rather work 10-15 minutes longer than ruin the reputation of the entire restaurant and scare off returning guests. My father's 80th birthday was ruined too. we won't come back again. very unfortunate.

I have enjoyed visiting the restaurant for many years. I like the location, it's very comfortable, even if it's a bit noisy at times. The food is perfect, there is nothing to complain about at all. Friendly staff that I have never seen before in this restaurant. The only drawback is the sanitary facilities, here you could pay a little more attention to the hygienic condition.

Unfriendly waiter ruins the joy of good food

The food and ambience were super good, the only thing that irritates me about this stunning evening are the packed leftovers, half of which were missing. There is no trace of the leftover grilled skewer, as is the minced steak that was left over. All that was packed was the gyro meat. Very disappointing when you ask to pack up the leftovers and 60% of them disappear.

The food is honestly authentic as far as I can tell. Thanks to the wide variety of dishes, you always have a choice of something new and can always enjoy new experiences in a relaxed manner

We used to eat here often. The food was always delicious and the service was perfect. After a few years we ate here again today. And were very disappointed. The food was tasteless and the service was quite lackluster. The gyros and calamari didn't taste like anything. I love Ouzo and Imiglykos but here the Ouzo was very spicy which doesn't mean quality and the Imiglykos had a very bitter finish which is also very untypical. We were really very disappointed and will probably avoid the Delphi in the future. A real shame.
