Good food. Large portions and very good value for money. We received our food very quickly, and the service was very friendly.

Plates were well filled, very tasty.

We went there spontaneously today because our Greek restaurant was closed, and we wanted to try the place. We only knew it from the very previous owners. The food was very tasty, but the portions were very small. The price is therefore too high. The tzatziki is delicious! The interior is very nice.

Yes, it's true. The ambiance, the beer garden or rather the outdoor area, is great. Yes, it's true – the food is great. So why only 3 stars? That has to do with our last visit. The salad was old – it looked as if it had been reprocessed and then served. The portion – I ordered a fish platter – as always – and noticed that it had shrunk considerably compared to many previous visits. Oh well. And then there was the obligatory ouzo – it simply wasn't available this time. Of course, I mentioned it all when paying – and the result – it was acknowledged. As we left the restaurant and shook hands, there was an apology – I'll leave it up to you to judge – we definitely won't be going back anytime soon – may things fare better for you.

Very friendly staff and the food was excellent. It was truly top-notch value for money. Highly recommended for any lover of Greek cuisine.

As a regular, I always find the staff friendly and the food delicious. Reasonably priced lunch specials or even just light bites if you're not that hungry. Reservations are recommended; despite the beautiful large garden and plenty of space, it can get crowded inside. This shows that the quality and price are right, and the people are friendly.

I have to say this restaurant is both delicious and service-wise fabulous. We look forward to our next visit. The staff are very friendly, and the garden is also beautiful.

A delicious experience! The beer garden is a dream in the summer! Make sure to make a reservation, especially on weekends, otherwise it gets pretty crowded. Otherwise, the food and service are absolutely top-notch! You can feel Mama's love in the dishes :)

I don't recommend anyone asking the staff to decorate the table a bit (for a confirmation, for example). The result was this white tablecloth with the blue stripe, a few scattered stones, and a few artificial plastic decorative flowers... The restaurant charged 30 euros for this! We were very shocked, as it wasn't mentioned on the phone that it would cost extra. In addition, the staff was clearly overwhelmed with 9 adults and 4 teenagers. Food was forgotten, mixed up, swapped, and, when asked, it took ages to arrive. The food was okay, but unfortunately nothing special.

Gute und lockere Atmosphäre. Sauberes und freundliches Ambiente. Der Service hat bei der Kundenorientierung Luft nach oben, ist aber akzeptabel. Zum Essen: Durchschnittliche griechische Küche ohne Ausschläge nach oben oder unten. So isst man bei einem etablierten Griechen überall, dafür muss man nicht ins Poseidon gehen. Einzig der Beilagensalat ist super, denn es ist nicht diese Krautsalatorgie, die man sonst bekommt. Leckeres Dressing, frische gemischte Salate. Die Lammhaxe hat von der Zubereitung wesentlich Luft nach oben. Fleisch in Ordnung, Zubereitung na ja. Überbacken mit Käse, schmierige Reisnudeln und in Soße ertränkt. Kann man machen, muss es aber nicht.

The dishes we ordered were delicious. The service was rather unobtrusive and friendly.

Good food in general but the service is really bad, the waiter was hovering over the table the whole time, and acted really bad when the credit machine did not accept wireless payment through the phone, I’ve use it a million times before and never needed the card till this instance, I even tried multiple cards on the phone and it didn’t work, being annoyed and expressing it to a customer while obviously being their issue was a definite evening slaughter… very disappointing

Unfortunately only Pepsi light, no Cola light? Food leaves a bit to be desired? There used to be a bit of Zazicki with every order? Now you have to order extra? Oh well!

The lamb cutlet was very tasty and so was the baked lava for dessert. The staff is very friendly and always with a smile on their faces. We have been coming to this restaurant for 6 years and are always satisfied with the food.

Sitting uncomfortably in a covered terrace, the room framed with transparent tarpaulins. Somehow heated, there are heaters from the front, there's a draft from the back, and it's cold on your feet. I won't come here again. The food was ok, average. Service as well. Nothing to repeat.

You eat incredibly well here, the staff is great, the restaurant is very clean, the toilets are also very good and the service is also very good. Hospitality is very important here. You won't be pressured to leave soon either. If you are in a larger group (more than 4 people), you should perhaps make a reservation in advance. Otherwise we had a lot of fun, a good mood and very good food. Poseidon Gebersdorf is always worth a visit!!!

The quality of the dishes varies greatly. We ordered fried zucchini balls with tzatziki and moussaka casserole. The zucchini balls and the tzatziki were ok in terms of taste and portion. The moussaka casserole was designated as the main course on the menu. The portion was small and tasteless. The accompanying salad could not raise the quality level of the main course, as it was very oily and had obviously been prepared a long time ago. In our opinion, the price of €17.50 for this dish is not appropriate due to the quality and portion size. In comparison, the zucchini balls were a delight and comparatively cheap at €8.50. The indoor and outdoor areas in the restaurant are attractively designed and offer enough seating. There are sufficient service staff available. The service could be better in terms of friendliness and speed. Based on our experience we will not visit this restaurant again.

Incredibly delicious and lots of feel-good moments!!!! Best Greek far and wide. Yesterday we simply ordered appetizers and were once again completely thrilled...actually the same as always. Everything of everything and it was again super delicious and to the point. Insanely nice staff from the boss to the waiters to the divine kitchen gods...thank you for a wonderful start to the weekend. We were just there 3 weeks ago and had a family celebration and EVERYONE was absolutely thrilled. Thank God this restaurant survived Corona well. We always enjoy coming back. You are the best !!!! We have been regular customers at Poseidon for so many years! If I had my way, we could eat there every week! We love this incredibly delicious food, this incredible warmth that greets you when you walk in the door, the friendliness, this feeling of well-being... We spend our holidays in Greece, but I can tell you, we don't have anything like that there Found delicious tzatziki like in our local restaurant! We love it there and we look forward to eating there every time. It's like a piece of vacation and just beautiful and delicious! A huge compliment to this excellent cuisine, no matter how many people are there, the food is so perfect and to the point! We always like to come back and look forward to it every time. Waiting over half an hour for the drinks and then another 1.15 hours for the food is an outrage. The food was average and finally waiting half an hour for the bill after repeated requests is not professional. The service was totally overwhelmed and disorganized. The restaurant will definitely not see us again.

Über eine halbe Stunde auf die Getränke und danach noch 1,15 Stunden auf das Essen zu warten ist eine Unverschämtheit. Das Essen war Durchschnitt und als Abschluss dann noch eine halbe Stunde, nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen, auf die Rechnung zu warten ist nicht professionell. Der Service war total überfordert und unorganisiert. Das Restaurant sieht uns sicher nicht wieder.

I'm from Amberg, the food was okay.. But it's not much for the price. True value 3 euros, staff... Family..

We chose the restaurant based on the reviews and were quite disappointed. My meal moussaka was bland and everything was pretty overcooked. The side salad had no dressing and there were also rotten leaves in it. There were still leftovers of food under the table from ......whenever.....we felt like second-choice guests. Requests and orders for another drink were taken but not served. Despite asking, nothing was delivered. The only dishes at our table (6 people) that were tasty was the fish. My dish (moussaka) wasn't worth the money. There will be no second visit.

If you don't value tasty food, this is the place for you. Rice without taste, there were 6 of us, none of us were satisfied. The fish was the only thing I can recommend. The salad had rotten leaves and the sauce was indefinable. The staff was friendly right up to the table, after which we were ignored when we ordered drinks and neither the wheat nor the lemon for the water came. When paying we had to let them know 3 times. There were leftovers of food under the table, which couldn't have been from the previous person since we were there at 6 p.m. It's a shame for the high prices, it's not justified. Can't understand these reviews.

Unfortunately it was nothing! Lamb shank with Kritharaki, baked in the oven for too long, totally dried out. All that was left of the sauce was a dried spot! Salad was quite carelessly prepared and really wasn't a highlight in terms of taste. The service was very inattentive and couldn't offer what we expected from a good Greek. All in all, not recommended.

The best Greek in the Nuremberg area. Can't beat the quality. Everything is fresh and the store is very clean. We come often and have always been satisfied. The employees are all very nice and accommodating.

So our visit to the Greek restaurant was a complete disaster, the food didn't taste like anything, the staff was sooooo rude, that was one of the worst things and the toilet was really dirty and full of feces. Never again We were there yesterday at 6 p.m. because the young waiter was very unfriendly because we put 2 tables together. We ordered 1 fish plate, veal schnitzel, liver gyros and calamari, 2 galaktabureko, 3 Cola zero large, 1 small and an apple juice small. They now know who we are ? They were very, very unfriendly and basically forced us out until we felt uncomfortable. A pity

Very nice beer garden, nice covered winter garden. The food is great, we go there often. Grape leaves are homemade. The mixed hot and cold starters are highly recommended, as are the baby calamari salad and Duetto (gyro calamari).

Also griechisch, kann man sehr gut Essen. Reservierung würde ich empfehlen. Herr Nico und seine Frau sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Sehr gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis. Wir kommen wieder. Euer Goldfinger

The food is delicious. The meat is prepared to perfection and is served by friendly service 😀 We got a table in the “winter garden” and the side walls were opened for us. Unfortunately, there were still fries from lunch or from the day before on the floor in the winter garden. All in all we were very satisfied 😊

Nice restaurant with good food, with one small caveat. The restaurant is located right on a busy street (especially at peak times).

We were visiting as a larger group and appetizer platters and mixed meat and fish platters were ordered in advance for the main course. Unfortunately, the staff and kitchen were more than overwhelmed by the situation. The starter platters were ok, would describe them as standard in a Greek restaurant. Unfortunately, the main course was only brought over an hour later, and the side dishes and meat were cold and therefore not edible. Only the fish was warm and tasty, but unfortunately there was far too little. Drink orders were not delivered at this point or were delivered much too late. All in all a very disappointing visit. For me personally the first and last.

Waited over 1 hour for the food :( Unfortunately we had no luck with our visit today. It was very crowded (beer garden & restaurant) and we had to wait over an hour for our food. This can certainly be tolerated if communication is open and you get the feeling that the operators are sorry. That was not the case. When we first asked (after 45 minutes) we were told that the waiter had just asked and that the food would be coming soon... after another 25 minutes we asked again, saying that we had already been waiting for our food for over an hour . I was then shrugged and pointed out that it was very crowded. Our food arrived after a total of over an hour - when we pointed out that it was really long, there wasn't even an apology. It was mentioned again that that was just the way it was today...the waiter (boss?) who took the cash just said "sorry", but then seemed upset that there was no tip. I couldn't find the children's meals mentioned on the homepage. Food was good, ambience was too. We didn't find the price/performance ratio good (they don't even serve bread with a tzatziki or a farmer's salad that were ordered separately) Communication was poor, see above, and when I asked if there was no bread with the tsaziki, I was given one, but that was also billed at 4.90 (!)...

We have been to Poseidon several times. Today we were very disappointed. The drinks arrived after 45 minutes and the food after almost 2 hours. Not a word of apology. A pity. The dining

We were there for the first time today and were completely satisfied. The food was very good, the service was very accommodating. A few suggestions would be: it doesn't make the best impression when you enter the restaurant and look into the kitchen, which is quickly closed as if you had something to hide. I would decorate the tzatziki on a lettuce leaf, for the eye 😉 but that's complaining at a high level. We will recommend you and we will definitely come back. LG
