We went there spontaneously with two small children. The owner and staff were super friendly and also loved children! The kids watched the golfers for a bit and had a great time. The burgers and tarte flambée were delicious 😋! We'd love to come back for the dumpling dishes. They sounded great too! The value for money was top-notch! Keep it up 👌😉

From the warm welcome from the hostess, it was clear that the work here is done with passion, expertise, and attention to detail. The atmosphere at Ursprung is exceptional – stylish, cozy, and personal. You immediately feel welcomed and inspired. The kitchen area is professionally equipped and, at the same time, so open and inviting that you immediately feel at home. The cooking class itself was excellently structured. Not only was comprehensive knowledge imparted, but this knowledge was also shared with patience and humor. What was particularly impressive was how the ingredients were transformed into creative, modern dishes – always with a focus on quality, sustainability, and flavor. Every single dish was a small work of art – both visually and in terms of taste. The tips and tricks we learned are invaluable and can be easily implemented at home. What was particularly nice was that the evening ended with a cozy meal and good conversation – accompanied by wine and an all-round family atmosphere. The enthusiasm for authentic, honest cuisine was palpable at every moment. Conclusion: The cooking class at Ursprung is highly recommended, and not just for amateur cooks. Anyone who appreciates enjoyment, quality, and a personal atmosphere will love this experience. I'll definitely be back!

Highly recommended. We felt very comfortable. Nice restaurant with very nice service. The selection of food is sufficient and there is definitely something for everyone. The portions are good and very nicely prepared. It was very tasty. We would love to come back.

I've been a guest both in the morning and in the afternoon – and each time it was like a little break from everyday life. The calm, almost relaxing atmosphere invites you to linger while you enjoy a cappuccino. The culinary offerings never get boring: the menu changes regularly and always surprises with new dishes prepared with lots of love. There's a noticeable focus on regionality – you can taste this not only in the hearty classics like Käsespätzle, but especially in the cakes, which are baked with fruit from the farm's own gardens depending on the harvest time. When plum season begins, it's always a little highlight. And by the way: we (groups of 2 and 4) have always had no problem getting a table. A big thank you to Haus Dürresbach – for the lovingly prepared food, the peace and quiet, and the feeling of being welcome.

Currywurst fries are very tasty - even if I prefer the fries with natural salt. The design of the store is a small hurdle, we deliberately went after Anny Fries, stood right in front of the store and weren't sure if we were in the right place because it says "Ritze" on the closed glass front 🥴

ich fühlte mich als Gast nicht wirklich willkommen. Mein Getränk konnte ich aus einer Kunststoffflasche zu mir nehmen mit einem Papierstrohhalm der kürzer war als die Flasche. Bei jedem Absetzen der Flache versank der Stohhalm in der Flasche. Die bestellte Pizza hatte ich auch im Restaurant gegessen. Es gab dafür extrem ungeeignetes Holzbesteck - vermutlich biologisch abbaubar - dafür aber äußerst stumpf. Dieses Geschäft kann ich nicht weiterempfehlen.

This is a lovely looking restaurant Pity the services is a disgrace We ordered a meal sat there for a least 60 minutes. Only to find our order had not been taken Also my wife asked for a Cappuccino which also never turned up Do your self a favour and steer clear of this restaurant

We went to this place thinking it was a Turkish restaurant because we were in the mood for a good Adana, but quickly realized that it is actually an Iraqi restaurant. That was totally fine, and we still enjoyed the food overall. For my personal taste, the meats had too much lamb tail fat, known as kuyruk yağı. I personally prefer a cleaner meat flavor and something spicier. This style reminded me of the kebabs in Azerbaijan, which are also quite fatty and mild in seasoning. That said, the appetizers were very tasty and were definitely the highlight of our meal. What I really did not like was the table setup. The tables for two people are extremely small. Once you place a regular order, there is barely any room left even for one main dish. The meat was served on one plate and the rice on another, which made the table feel crowded immediately. A small change in plating or larger tables would definitely improve the experience. Our main disappointment was the dessert. We had specifically come from nearly 40 kilometers away to enjoy künefe and kebab. After the meal, we asked our very kind waiter if we could order künefe. He said he needed to check with the kitchen, and after a short wait he came back and told us that it was not available. That was a letdown. He explained that künefe is only served on Thursdays and Fridays. The fact that he had to double check with the kitchen instead of knowing this detail right away left the impression that availability may depend on how busy the restaurant is or who is asking. That moment left a bit of a bitter aftertaste. All in all, it was a decent experience. If you are already in the city, this place is worth trying. You probably will not be disappointed. But do not go there expecting to have künefe, even if it is one of the main reasons for your visit, because there is a good chance it will not be available.
