We didn't want to go into the city from our hotel and ended up at Akams via Google. It was a good choice. The food was freshly prepared and tasted really delicious. If I'm in Heidelberg again, I'll go there again.

Comfortable space, food that comes out super fast, delicious healthy food, and very reasonable prices! Vegetarian meals available. There was a ramp that made it easy to push a stroller, a wide entrance, and the spacing between tables was good. It's a shame there was no diaper changing table.

A very good lunch place with good price/quality food. One of my favorites. If you want to grab lunch it is certainly a place I can recommend. My personal favorite is Halloumi Salat.

I absolutely don't understand all the good reviews. I ate a falafel sandwich. There were three mini falafels in the sandwich. Otherwise iceberg lettuce, radish, pickled cucumbers and yogurt sauce. You could hardly taste the falafel. The relationship didn't work at all. Overall, it only tasted like the Arabic bread with iceberg lettuce and yogurt sauce. All this for an outrageous price of €6.50. Inflation or not, absolutely not justified. Wake up people, the owner is aware that he is ripping you off. Don't support such people. They take advantage of your ignorance. In no Arab country would something like this be served to people. I don't understand how you can save money on falafel. For me this is cheating.

We tried Akams with the gourmet block and were very pleasantly surprised. The food was very tasty, one portion would have been enough for both of us as it was very large. The taste of the oriental dishes was great, just something different like burgers or kebabs. We are thrilled and would love to come back.

It was initially shown to us on Google Maps as a kebab shop. When we got there, we were very confused at first because it wasn't a kebab shop, but a shawarma restaurant. I have NEVER been so positively surprised that the food was very, very tasty. The food tasted super fresh and high quality for the price. Very happy again :-)

Very tasty wraps at fair prices and a good size. At peak times there is sometimes a bit of a wait as there is a lot of traffic, but it was never unreasonable. When it was empty, the food was always ready within a few minutes. Absolute recommendation!

Akam’s is the best for my lunch breaks. Always fresh and varied. I almost always eat vegetarian. I also like to make an exception for the daily meals. Even when there is a lot going on, things move quickly. Top staff!!

Rarely have I eaten something so delicious! Just good. If you visit Heidelberg, you have to eat here. We had the special plate for one or two people on two days. You can sit outside but there is enough space inside too.

Very tasty fast food restaurant. Friendly and quick employees, despite the large crowds. Located directly on Speyerer Straße (through street). There are parking spaces in front of the door, but they are not part of the restaurant, so everything could be full. Only the loud music is a bit unpleasant.

The food is really good. Classic dishes from the Levant, very tasty, well seasoned and with high quality ingredients. You are served politely and get your food quickly. The location is a bit relaxed on the street, but the restaurant itself has a very pleasant atmosphere. Price-performance ratio is right - clear recommendation! My favorite is definitely the special plate.

Fattoush salad unfortunately a disaster. Just ordered from Lieferando for 10€, maybe it's ok if you're German and don't know any better, but if you're an Arab, stay away! Just a disappointment, in the end just salad with tomatoes and bread without the right spices or mint, salad crunches and isn't washed properly. Only eat what people have NO idea about oriental cuisine.

We sat for 10 minutes to realize we had to order up front (like in a takeaway). The staff is rather passive and doesn't approach the customers. The food is rather mediocre for someone who knows oriental cuisine. In my opinion the hummus is not homemade as it is advertised and the falafel is very very dry like the chicken. Positive: The portions will definitely fill you up.

Small fast food restaurant offering middle eastern food such as Shawarma, Falafel, Lame Kufte, Humus and many more. Food quality is very good, but prices are relatively high for what you get. I recommend the Chicken Salat, Lame Kufte and the Falafel Wrap.
