An ideal setting to release all the visceral tensions of primal instincts we hold and supress. I could let pleasure emerge in holding and feeling the weight of the Axe,releasing it into the air.the sound of it hitting the wood, the lightness in the moment of flight,and the orgasmis with the 'Wow'when it strikes the board, not necessarily measured by hitting the mark or the accompanying points. A re-membering of Primal instincts and knowings that can be known only through the doing. Also great and friendly staff!

It's kind of fun, but too expensive for two people. It might be okay for four, but the more of you there are, the less you actually get out of the two hours. So it's not really two hours, but one hour and 45 minutes, which honestly isn't very long. Why not just make it two hours long? Well, there should at least be some kind of group discount or the time should be extended if there are more than four people, or something like that.

One of the best places to have fun. The instructors were great, friendly and fun. We had a great evening. Will go back for sure.

If you're bored in Berlin and looking for an unusual activity, this is the perfect place! I've rarely had so much fun, and there's nothing better than finally mastering a new trick after endless trying, or, for those in the know, finally getting that darn little axe stuck in the window! I've been there four times and would do it again anytime :)

We visited Woodcutter Berlin and overall we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is great – rustic, cozy, and with a cool concept. The staff were also consistently friendly and helpful; you can tell they enjoy their job. However, there were a few things that somewhat dampened our impression. We were told in advance to arrive 15 minutes early to receive a briefing in German. Once we got there, it turned out that the briefing was actually in English. That was fine in principle, but a shame, as we had set off early specifically for that. Due to the slightly delayed and longer briefing, we only ended up with about 40 minutes of actual playtime, even though we had booked the 1-hour package. At €50 for two people, that's a bit disappointing, as you're looking forward to a full hour. All in all: Great concept, friendly team, and a great atmosphere, but there's still room for improvement in terms of organization and communication. Then the experience would have been truly complete!

The axe throwing was very good. The music was very loud and the air was a bit stuffy. There was limited space, but plenty of it. There were two of us and we wouldn't have wanted to play with more people on the same lane. In summary: cool activity, mediocre atmosphere/location

It was a super fun experience. Multiple axes to try (even a small shovel). All staff was very welcoming, professional, nice and helpful.

I've thrown axes at woodcutter at Alexanderplatz many times and really enjoyed it in the past. But an incident a couple of weeks ago made me feel very unsafe. A group of (drunken) men (without a booking!) were loudly shouting from the street into the store where a couple of women were throwing axes. They were very sexist and harrassed them. After a couple of minutes, they entered the store and got even louder and closer to the cages. None of the male staff members moved a finger despite the discomfort and fear of the affected customers. The only person who stood up against the aggressive men was a very young female staff member who told them that their behaviour was not okay and asked them to leave. They ignored her, so she moved the women to another lane in the back where they were safe. What I found most shocking is, that the male staff members didnt't support the harrased customers or their colleague and even argued with her. It took a while but she managed to throw the men out and every women in the store was super grateful for her brave move. This is rare and derserves outmost respect. I am sorry to say it but Woodcutter at Alexanderplatz was at that time not a safe space for women and queer people - despite the pride flags in the store! I wonder why the management doesn't have a code of conduct or some kind of procedure to make sure that all of their customers feel safe and their staff members work as a team!

The hosts are very friendly and positively eager to explain you how the axes work even if you've never done It once in your Life. Bonus point, you've got your won throwing lane so you don't feel the pressure tò play with more experienced people

Absolutely recommendable! I booked the duo package, which included a free drink and a Polaroid photo. There was also a cute "Happy Birthday" sign for my girlfriend's birthday. The staff was super friendly and always open to questions or tips. We'll definitely be back! :)

I was there today with my boyfriend. The instructor was wonderful!✨️ She took so much time with me and was so supportive. I think I tried out every axe you had at least once hahahah, and in the end, I had three different axes and my highlight, a shovel. She took so much time and always tried to help me, even with the individual trick shots. I think she was thinking to herself, "Girl, something has to happen now!" Hahaha😂 I thought the experience was wonderful; one hour wasn't enough for me personally; I would have loved to stay longer.🥰 Another plus point is that the instructions could have been given in English.😊

Went with 9 friends (pre booked) would say the staff were friendly but there was a strong indication that their profits were more important than the entertainment. Induction was good and clear and the guy who gave you instructions watched over and stepped in to help those who couldn't get the technique. But the targets (three of them) were so heavily worn that they had a slither of the ONE ring left and the bulls eyes were almost worn through. At the end (exactly 2 minutes of the hour left) a girl brought some double head axes to take photos with but was repeatedly saying 2 minutes left and then left with the axes without allowing 1/3 of the party a chance for a photo. Also a 10th friend bought a souvenir from the counter but then realised it might not pass through security in hand luggage and asked if he could return it 5 minutes later whilst we're still in the place and they refused and would only offer a voucher even though we were visiting the country. (We had just spent almost €200 plus drinks and they did this? Could be a good experience but let down by profit over customer's satisfaction, change needed or a failed business is on the cards.

The staff is super friendly and explains the game clearly but quickly, leaving plenty of time to play. The atmosphere is super cool, you quickly get the hang of the throwing process, and it's incredibly fun! All in all, absolutely recommended—it's addictive :-D

I thought it was great! The instruction was good. Plenty of time. Some of the instruction was only in English. I received this unique event as a birthday present and booked a small group. The value for money is reasonable.

I celebrated my birthday with WoodCutter Berlin and we had an amazing experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They kept the games interesting and showed us a few different throwing styles. The location was neat and clean with a fun "rustic" touch. And everyone felt safe at all times. I highly recommend this activity and would love to go back for some more.

It was my first time there and it was very cool, always worth the experience and a lot of fun.

We visited Wood Cutter for the first time on July 26, 2025, and it won't be our last! We had a blast. The staff is very friendly and gives good advice. You can always ask them if you have any questions. And they help you right away. Safety is a top priority, and they show you how to hold the axes properly and how to throw them best. We'll definitely be going to Wood Cutter again. 😎

First time throwing axes and although we were a bit nervous, the axemasters were all amazing, especially Enzo. We had a brilliant time, and would definately recommend it to anyone looking for something different to do while in Berlin.

We were here this weekend for a bachelorette party. As already mentioned, booking is done online. After a briefing, we get started. The briefing was excellent. We were also supervised afterward. The staff were always available to answer any questions. A big thank you goes to the team for the goodie bag.

We recently tried axe throwing at WoodCutter Berlin, and it was an absolute blast — thanks largely to the incredible Axe Master, Tiago! From the moment we arrived, his enthusiasm and expertise set the tone for an unforgettable experience. He was knowledgeable about technique and safety and had a knack for making everyone feel confident and motivated. His demonstrations were clear and entertaining, and he offered personalised tips that helped some of us improve our throws (although some of us were beyond help). To top it all up, Tiago provided us with a list of recommended places to visit in Berlin, even though we have been living here for a while and didn't really need it. I can assure you that Tiago's taste in local cuisine and bars is excellent.

I've been there 2 times and I loved it. I told everyone about it 😂 10/10 will go again next time I'm in Berlin!
