We had been booking New Year's Eve for weeks and when we arrived, they rudely told us that terrace or nothing. The stoves don't work on New Year's Eve, it's extremely cold at dinner. The food is expensive and bad, especially the meat that is not from Wayú even dreaming and poorly cooked, stale. To top it off, they ask us for a taxi, a colleague from the restaurant goes, he even had something inside and charges us 45 euros for a 5 km trip. They ruined our night and we don't care about the falsehoods they answer, it was like that. Absolutely unpresentable.

Very good Greek restaurant with a great menu and delicious food. The service is very friendly and attentive, the decor is very inviting and relaxed. We had the saganaki, which was great, and the chicken soup, which also tasted great. There were 4 soups to choose from, all sounded great. For the main course we had gyros and the chicken pan. Both were very good, the gratinated pan was particularly tasty. At the end we enjoyed a mocha, which rounded everything off nicely. Highly recommended.

We came across this shop because of an Instagram post where the selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes was advertised. Yes, there is indeed a selection of cold and warm dishes of this kind, but I think that the Greek touch has been completely lost. My dish was soaked in oil (vegetables as a casserole with béchamel and cheese). I don't actually have a problem with heartburn, but that was clearly too much of a good thing, the vegetables were completely cooked through. The vegan dish for 20 plus euros only consisted of a halved eggplant, topped with meat substitute mince and vegan cheese. So it's nice that you adapt, but these are not dishes that you should offer in a restaurant, at least not for the price when it is so "unspectacular". What was really great, however, was the feta from the regular starter menu with honey. That's how I know it authentically from Greece. Delicately seasoned, a little side salad and a great dip. We decided on cocktails that evening, according to the menu 0.4. The glass looked significantly smaller to me, the preparation took a very long time, the taste of the mojito was anything but what I am familiar with as a mojito - was it with vodka? Something tasted really strange. And the waiter had also laughed at the request for a choice of drinks with a wry expression on his face: "Do you want to go party?!", as if you don't normally order cocktails here. So on the whole the visit was quite sober if you pay 40 plus euros (without dessert) per person, and at the end they didn't even offer a short drink. The service was rather impersonal. The “normal” dishes are very good. Still, it's a shame, because when you go to a restaurant you're looking for that certain something and not just stupid food intake. Uh. We also sat on wallpapered garden chairs at a shallower table than our neighbors and a bit of freshness and draft of the air could also be felt.

I had a really good visit with Eliés. I had a delicious vegan Metaxa casserole with a Primitivo I was very satisfied. The service was very friendly and we felt very comfortable. The restaurant looks very neat, clean and is harmoniously decorated. There were all sorts of little things to accompany the food and a nice surprise at the end.

A great cozy restaurant that also serves vegan dishes. So it doesn't always have to be meat, there can also be good alternatives. When we asked for a menu, the waitress told us that there was no dessert, but that she would give us something special to eat. She kept her promise. Super nice evening :)

Great spot for fine dining with your spouse, friends and family. Nice Atmosphere with services. The portion of the food sufficient for one person. I have true lamb knuckle and the taste really delicious. Don’t forget to try their dessert with fire presentation.

Perfect evening for the anniversary

One of the few good Greek restaurants in Hamburg. Freshly prepared dishes (e.g. fresh calamari, not frozen food as is often the case; homemade or very good purchased coleslaw, good quality meat), all in plentiful quantities. The service is very attentive and yet pleasantly reserved, the ambience is a successful mix of rustic and modern. All in all a good address. The only small downer: the sometimes overabundant food. For the same price, which is appropriate for the quality, a little less would have been possible in some cases. +++++++++++ Note on ordering food via the restaurant's website (December 11, 2024). Eat **** Services* Ambience (not applicable) What happened? The food we ordered was delivered significantly differently (no sauce, so only dry meat) than stated on the menu. The subsequent phone call with an employee lasted a full 13 minutes, during which I was repeatedly explained that it was a shame and that I could get a drink or an appetizer for free next time. Unfortunately, the information on the website for months has not been consistent with that on the delivery service pages. That can hardly be my problem. My request for an immediate correction/re-delivery (re-delivery of the food that had now become cold (for over 30 euros) was vehemently rejected with the point that they would go bankrupt if everything was re-delivered every time there were complaints. It happens so often ? Service and customer orientation are different. My solution: I had the sauce delivered, tried to keep the food warm in the oven or gently reheat it and unfortunately almost an hour later I experienced a dubious and lukewarm enjoyment. Oh yes — as compensation there was a bottle with a mixed drink (as a diabetic I can't drink it). Thank you Restaurant Elies — that's not how you treat guests (the fact that I am or was a regular guest doesn't matter here). The behavior is downright shabby.

We used to be regular customers when the prices were still bearable. Due to various price increases, we stopped going at some point. Today we wanted to go to the restaurant at discounted prices via "The Fork" app. Shortly before making the reservation the order was canceled, supposedly due to heating problems. Apparently all reservations were canceled... What's unfortunate is that we were standing in front of the window during the conversation and could see that guests were there. So you just didn't want to pay the discount shown in the app... In addition to the absolutely outrageous prices, that's really bad. Lying to your guests' faces is not an option and we will certainly never eat there again. The food and the ambience used to always be OK. Overall rating still 0 because I've never experienced anything so cheeky.

The vegan offering at Eliés is particularly great; innovative dishes and variations, delicious cocktails and smoothies, all in all the restaurant offers a very wide range of Greek cuisine! We felt very comfortable, would love to come back!

We had a lovely dinner at Elíes Restaurant. We started with bruschetta to share. I had the roasted tomato and mozzarella salad, while my husband enjoyed the flavorful chicken soup - perfect for a late October evening. The portions were generous, and everything was fresh and made to order. Our waiter, Omid, was very welcoming and kind. The staff takes care of their customers, making it a pleasurable dining experience!

Delicious and generous starter plate. The gyros vegetables are great. I saw paper and crayons being brought for a family with a child. I think that's great. Finding a parking space on the street or nearby is a miracle, but the restaurant can't help that.

Nice restaurant, with an unusually appealing ambience. The service is extremely friendly, attentive and extremely committed. Personally, I would have been happy to have at least one female service person - just for balance... The food was very tasty and tasty, the meat didn't taste like stressed pig and seemed to be of high quality. The side salad was very tasty and fits more into Eppendorf than the common Greek cabbage😉 A clear recommendation from us, we would be happy to come back!

The chicken souvlaki was incredibly delicious. Juicy, perfectly seasoned and served with fresh tzatziki. The fries were crispy and went perfectly with it. The service was super friendly and the atmosphere was cozy. Definitely the best Greek in the area! I'll definitely be back.

We ordered from Eliés today and were very satisfied. We chose this restaurant because it also has a good selection of vegan Greek dishes. Our order for both of us consisted of saganaki and gyros in Metaxa sauce, 1x “normal”, 1x vegan. Everything was delicious and harmonious. The vegan "meat" had a great consistency, the vegan feta is "just" tofu, but it is very soft and seasoned to taste really delicious. The meat and cheese variants were equally well received by my friend. This was our 2nd order from Eliès. The first time we weren't completely satisfied, which I'm only mentioning here because I would like to praise the great and accommodating customer service in this regard. After a nice phone call we decided to try it again and were not disappointed!! It's nice to know that they still care about the individual guest here. Thanks for that.

Little story first. We order online quite often and have therefore seen and tested a lot. We also live very centrally in Hamburg and that's why we're always overwhelmed by the large number of restaurants that can deliver. Luckily, we discovered the Greek Ellies about 2 years ago through the recommendation of friends and since then there hasn't been another Greek restaurant for us. We have probably ordered from Ellies 10 times and have never been disappointed, especially the gyros are simply a dream. Unfortunately we have never managed to eat on site, I hope we can manage it in the future. The smoothies are also recommended. Particularly noteworthy is the service itself; we have rarely seen such friendly employees on the phone, who provide information right from the start about even the smallest changes or a longer delivery time.

A few weeks ago we celebrated my birthday here. It was a wonderful evening with excellent food. The table was beautifully decorated and there was a fantastic surprise at the end of the evening. Hello, Eliés was a special kind of culinary experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting and authentic, which immediately creates a holiday mood. A particular highlight was Finn's Ouzo. The ouzo was excellent and perfectly tempered, with a subtle note of anise that went wonderfully with the Greek evening. In summary, I can only warmly recommend “Eliés” – both for the excellent cuisine and the first-class service. There was even a red rose at the end...

We ordered food here, in response to a simple question on the phone my order was canceled even though I didn't want it. I didn't get any food or money back. The employees and the owner were so disrespectful, they just hung up on me and were also racist, and they also weren't cooperative at all. Customer satisfaction is probably completely irrelevant here as long as money is made. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone!!

I would like to share my experience at this restaurant as I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the service was also excellent, and the waiters were friendly and accommodating. It happened that that evening I forgot my backpack with important things and documents in it. The restaurant called me to let me know they found my backpack. I was very happy that everything was fine. I went to pick him up and wanted to reward the waiters financially for this good deed, but they refused the money and just said that I should come back and they would be happy. I think it's rare to meet such nice people these days, so I wanted to share my experience and say thank you again!

We had a very tasty meal here with large portions. The outside terrace is nice and quiet, cozy in a side street, you can sit here very nicely and enjoy the sun and the food.

It was our first time here and we can fully recommend a visit. The outdoor terrace is very idyllic, relaxed beats are playing in the background, bread with dip and ouzo were available for free, the various dishes were all very tasty and beautifully prepared. There is also a small play area outside for children. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely come back!
