Great service and superb food 😁

Twelve of us celebrated my birthday there, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it! Delicious food (lots of vegan options, fish, and meat) and very cozy. Plus, I received a wonderful birthday surprise from the restaurant! What I loved most was the service: relaxed with all our extra requests, professional, and just incredibly warm and welcoming 🥰 I'll definitely be back next year! P.S.: The salmon and spinach casserole is absolutely amazing, WOW!

We celebrated a birthday here. The food was delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented! But what made our visit so special was the staff. We felt very comfortable and even received a free birthday cake. Highly recommended for celebrations or if you simply want to dine in a pleasant atmosphere.

Wow, that's all I can say! The food alone was amazing! There was a well-balanced selection of vegan options, which also tasted fantastic! The drinks were also superb! On top of that, the staff was the friendliest and most attentive I've ever encountered! They welcomed us with open arms and were always attentive to our well-being. The service was very quick, yet calming and humorous! We truly felt like part of the restaurant family <3 I highly recommend it.

Top quality and perfect service.

We went to Eliés Restaurant and Bar today to celebrate a birthday. There were nine of us, and the team accommodated us without any fuss. Space inside is a bit limited, but we still had a great time. The food was good and arrived quickly. The birthday person was surprised with a small cake and a thoughtful gesture from the staff. It was a lovely touch and made the evening perfect. A peaceful place for a meal with family or friends.

Greek restaurants are the first one we discover due to my family routes. I have been in many restaurants in Hamburg for greek food but this time both food and the atmosphere were nothing to do with Greek food. Waiters could not understand me in German, English and Greek at all, only some of them can speak fully one of those languages. Despite our reservation were not taken care fully it felt like. I missed a lot the real greek food taste, food was quite average more tried to be modernized but did not work somehow. Even the music is not greek music , which is quite far away from the kitchen roots. I also found prices overrated.

Excellent vegan options! It tasted great. :) But when ordering, make sure you order vegan – we received meat, but they promptly made it again and everyone was very friendly!

We ate here as a couple and weren't really satisfied. For a starter, we had taramasalata for €8.90. This came without bread (which we've never experienced in a Greek restaurant before), and they offered five slices of bread for €4.90. Sorry, but that's a rip-off. The fried squid was overcooked and the portion was rather small. The rest of the meal was average, and you pay a hefty extra for every add-on (sauce, side dish). In short: you can eat cheaper and better elsewhere. We won't be back.

It's hard to find a Greek restaurant that also offers vegan dishes. Everything tastes great here, whether vegan or with meat. The service and atmosphere are also excellent.

Hi, we were at your place yesterday with five guys. Even though we had to wait for someone, everything was relaxed and we immediately felt welcome. The atmosphere is great, not typically Greek, but very pleasant and warmly decorated. The owner and his colleagues were always very friendly and attentive. The food was beautifully presented and tasted delicious, with a specially prepared salad to start, as well as tasty bread. We had to stop them from ordering more ouzo later on. It was on the house. It was a very nice, relaxed evening. We'd love to come back. We even had a short chat with the host at the end to say goodbye. Just like being on vacation. That's how it should be. Thank you so much. The atmosphere is cozy and warm as soon as you walk in. The staff are very attentive and cater to individual requests. Complimentary bread with aioli dip is served with the appetizer. The vegan gyros is incredible and highly recommended, along with the side salad dressed with delicious raspberry balsamic vinegar. Plenty of vegan options! We'll definitely be back! :)

The food is generally delicious, only the rice didn't quite live up to expectations. The quality is otherwise good. It's a shame, though, that the side dishes have to be ordered separately, even though the main courses aren't exactly cheap. Reservations are not required during the week.

I was absolutely thrilled with Elias Restaurant in Eppendorf. The food was outstanding—fresh, beautifully presented, and simply delicious. The ambiance is wonderful; you truly feel like you're in your own living room. The warm and attentive service deserves special mention; the waiters are incredibly friendly and immediately create a welcoming atmosphere. Right from the start, you're surprised with thoughtful touches, such as a welcome drink. Unlimited ouzo is also included, a fantastic extra. As you leave, you even receive a rose—a beautiful and personal touch that perfectly rounds off the evening. My tip: It's best to come during the week so you can enjoy Elias in peace and quiet. A true favorite restaurant that I highly recommend. 🌻✨

Best Greek restaurant in Hamburg! We were there for the first time today and were absolutely thrilled. The staff are very friendly and attentive. The food is definitely worth the price. They use high-quality ingredients, and you can taste the difference. The restaurant is very cozy. You immediately feel at home. Another great feature is the complimentary smoothie shot and bread you receive as a welcome drink, as well as the superbly equipped restrooms. From hand cream and deodorant to disinfectant and other hygiene products, they have everything you could need. Highly recommended!

Friendly service, though there seemed to be too many waiters, which you're essentially paying for in the high prices. We wanted to save with MobileGutscheine (4:2) for the "4 for 2" deal, but there was a limit of €18.90 that violated the terms and conditions. The side dish was charged separately. The food was very good with a modern, haute cuisine touch. The discussion about the €2-4 voucher was unnecessary. A rose for the ladies was a thoughtful gesture, but it didn't make up for the difference.

On Saturday, we visited Elies Restaurant with our gourmet block and were thrilled with the food. As expected on a Saturday, the restaurant was very busy, yet the food arrived very quickly. Delicious bread with a dip and a first appetizer were served beforehand. Our main course didn't take long to arrive and was absolutely delicious. We had an ouzo in between, and another one came at the end of the meal. That's not a given these days, and we left the restaurant very full. One small criticism, however, is that the tables are very close together, which often creates some noise in the room. In our opinion, one or two fewer tables would be better overall, especially since the prices are quite high and you want to feel completely comfortable.

We discovered this restaurant through the exceptionally good reviews, and our high expectations were even exceeded! We received a very warm and friendly welcome, and I personally have never experienced such attentive, yet unobtrusive service. I feel like I could rave about the food forever. I've eaten at so many Greek restaurants, but this was simply on a whole different level. And all at absolutely fair prices. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Hamburg!

A truly successful evening! Everyone enjoyed the food; we were a group of eight people. Everyone was greeted with a small smoothie. For main courses, we had rack of lamb, gyro, and stifado. To start, we had delicious toasted bread with dip and salad, all on the house. The service was very attentive and friendly. As a farewell, the ladies at our table received a rose 🌹. We'll definitely be back!

We recently discovered this restaurant and love it. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, the ambiance invites you to linger, and you feel that this is also welcome. The food is of excellent quality and a true delight for the palate. It is also presented in an appealing way. Each sauce has a special culinary touch, and the portions and prices are absolutely reasonable. The staff happily fulfills customer requests and is very friendly. We are from Hanover and will often include this restaurant as a highlight on our Hamburg trips.

We had a really nice birthday evening here. The food was delicious and plentiful. However, fries with the gyro cost an extra €6. The prices are rather high for a Greek restaurant. However, the atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, and the waiters are very friendly. Suggestion for improvement: If someone reserves a table for a birthday, bring two small bottles of Prosecco on the house. And the small fruit smoothies beforehand are delicious and free. We would come again.

A thoroughly positive experience. Four of us went out to eat today, and we were all completely impressed. The service was very good and friendly. All the waiters were attentive and courteous. The food was incredibly delicious. Whether it was meat, fish, or vegan, everyone was very happy with their choices. If there's one small criticism, it's that the main courses were rather large, so we didn't want to order dessert. We would have liked to try that, too. Our recommendation for those who aren't very hungry is to skip the filling side dish and order an appetizer and dessert instead. Highly recommended; we'd be happy to come back. Thank you very much

The restaurant and the food themselves are recommendable, but the price/performance ratio is absolutely not right. €27.90 for a gyro + bifteki is already quite a bargain, but having to pay an additional €5.90 for fries and not being informed that it counts as an additional side dish is, in my opinion, borderline ridiculous. This is also reflected in the customer frequency.

Yes, it's quite nice looking, and the service is excellent. Prices are a bit high; the side dishes (fries) had to be ordered and paid for separately, which is unusual for a Greek restaurant, and at €5.90 for a main course, it's quite steep. The souvlaki skewers were a bit overcooked, but otherwise quite okay.

The outdoor terrace is beautifully decorated with flowers and fairy lights, and you can sit comfortably and enjoy the atmosphere of a quiet and charming side street in Eppendorf. The gyro is one of the tastiest I've ever eaten (juicy, not greasy, with delicious roasted flavors), and the moussaka with Metaxa sauce was also excellent. The service is very friendly, attentive, and pleasant, and the waitress handed out roses to all the female guests at the end. Of course, they also offer a 'Uso' on the house. I'll be back! *Bonus: the restaurant is also part of the Schlemmerblock Hamburg with a 2 for 1 deal.

I ordered something via Uber yesterday. The cold platter for €21.90 is not recommended at all! For €22, you get a whopping four dollops of cream and a little feta, and even less cucumber and tomato (oh yeah, they also came with two small slices of bread). I also had two lamb shanks with green beans for €25.90. Nothing to complain about in terms of taste, but I've never eaten at a Greek restaurant that is so sparing with side dishes. So, there wasn't a single side dish with the lamb shank. With two people, we had to eat some bread to fill ourselves up. The total order was about €80. Will I order again? Probably not... We were the only guests on a Saturday evening, along with two other guests. That should have made us suspicious, but we were drawn in by the truly lovely ambiance. The service was really friendly. We started with toasted bread and dip. Free and delicious... Everything else was unfortunately rather disappointing, considering the price. A grilled salmon fillet with frozen creamed spinach, lots of ajoli, and a dry lemon wedge. Completely disappointing. The dish lacked imagination and sophistication, which I'd expect for €31 (mind you, without the potato side dish, which, unfortunately, is also nowhere to be found on the menu). The Gigantes beans with feta in tomato from the oven were okay for €15. But again, a bit lacking in ideas. What a shame! Because I think the place has real potential!

Delicious food, a wide selection of dishes, many of which are vegetarian/vegan. The portions are generous, and you can also order small side dishes. You can sit comfortably outside on the terrace. However, you should allow plenty of time; even though it wasn't busy, we had to wait quite a while for our food.

We went there via "TheFork" reservation because we were dazzled by the many good reviews. We can't confirm the good reviews and absolutely don't understand them. We had to explain to the waiter what we wanted on the menu (even though we gave him the numbers of the dishes) by pointing at the individual items. Good service can't be done well...but maybe he was new. The starter was mediocre and completely overpriced - a hot platter for 37.90, where the scallops were raw and cold. The main course was a mixed platter, where everything except the gyros was "very well" cooked. This isn't really recommended for veal liver, as it tasted completely dried out. Incidentally, the tuna on the starter platter was also overcooked/grilled! The price/performance ratio simply wasn't right. Unfortunately, the restaurant manager didn't honor the 50% discount in the end, even though we pointed out the reservation through TheFork upon arrival and provided proof of the confirmed reservation in the app. The boss just threatened to call the police if we didn't pay. From my perspective, the clear recommendation here is: Stay away! There was no sign of authentic Greek food here anyway.

I've been here twice, thanks to a discount through "The Fork." The place is nice, as is the food, but the concept isn't entirely clear in my opinion. Is it a Greek taverna? A fancy restaurant? Both—or neither? The portions are generous, and the food is really decent. The service is friendly, but a bit too intrusive. Unfortunately, we didn't feel entirely comfortable.

Unfortunately, the meat was very dry, and the ambiance, such as the music, seemed to play on an endless loop. Perhaps they were just having a bad day, as the taste was quite good.

For me, as someone with limited mobility, access to the restaurant and the restroom was easy.

The portions are unfortunately too small for the price. Rice costs extra as a side dish. The taste is nothing to complain about. There was no dessert menu when asked. However, other tables were able to order ice cream. Unfortunately, we weren't able to. Overall, it's very tasty, and vegans will also find something to their liking here.
