Food was ok. Gyros could have been warmer and a little more... Despite the empty restaurant, service was a bit awkward when ordering the food and clearing it away. 😐

I reserved a table for my aunt's birthday. Nothing else was booked. Without our booking, the team had set the table with roses, hung up birthday decorations and at the end there was a cake with a sparkler that we hadn't ordered. It was such a great surprise and the team gave us such a great evening. It was also delicious and we would highly recommend a visit! There are also many vegetarian and vegan dishes. Thank you and see you next time!

Very friendly, accommodating, there were even rose petals on the table, a birthday song with a birthday cake and a sparkler from the house. At the end I even got a rose 🌹. I ordered from Eliés for the first time today and I would give 100 stars if I could. There are such great vegan and vegetarian dishes on the menu - I chose the stuffed peppers with vegan mince, plus the tzatziki and it was sooooo incredibly tasty! I'm in heaven!! I'll definitely keep trying it out 🥰

The restaurant looks nice. It is declared as a Greek restaurant, but the food is not typically Greek and the employees are not Greek either. If you want Greek food, I would definitely go somewhere else. I would describe the food as Mediterranean, there is a large selection of vegan meat substitute products, if you like that. Although I am a vegetarian, I prefer real vegetarian dishes rather than substitute products. Unfortunately there were no Greek options for this. Apart from that, the food was unfortunately really expensive, definitely not good value for money.

All in all one of the best restaurants I've ever been to. The service is great, the interior is beautiful and the best vegan food I've had in a restaurant there. The non-vegan dishes were also highly praised by my companion. Absolutely 10000% recommendation. When the weather is good you can also sit outside there, the street is quite quiet. Dogs are also very welcome 🦊❤️

We were at the Eliés restaurant in Hamburg Eppendorf for the first time. The ambience made a good impression on us, and it was cozy too. The food, on the other hand, really disappointed us across the board, especially given the price range. The side salad served with the main courses was completely bland, without any dressing. The rack of lamb for €35.90 was unimaginative, side dishes had to be ordered additionally at this price. Croquettes were convenience and made hot in the deep fryer. The rice side dish tasted bitter because it appeared to be burnt and therefore quite dry. The scampi served with the Eliés Platter was not edible because it was also heated in the deep fryer and the shell could not be separated from the meat. After complaining about this fact, we received two new small scampi, unfortunately with the identical result. Conclusion: There are significantly better Greek restaurants in Hamburg that reach a “normal” price level. For the price offered, this restaurant is a huge disappointment and not worth recommending.

We spontaneously went to the restaurant in a group of 8 people. The staff was super friendly and flexible, a table was put together for us straight away. The dishes were beautifully presented and extremely delicious.

Really good food. In the end, of course, comparable to many other "Greeks", but here everyone makes sure that the individual components are perfectly prepared and seasoned. Friendly, unobtrusive service, great.

Such great service! I haven't experienced that for a long time, we had dinner with 11 people and it was a really nice evening from start to finish. They were so hard working and so accommodating! The ladies all got a rose at the end! So you're really in good hands there. Food is really a good choice, especially vegan. You are great!

The best Greek food in town with very tasty vegan options and fantastic service.

The owners try hard and the furnishings appear harmonious and high quality. However, the latter can seem disappointing when carried over to the food and service. We had reserved a table and were allowed to sit at a garden table and garden chairs, which were set up indoors. The steak, ordered without specifying the doneness, was English, not medium rare. The butter on the steak was frozen so it didn't melt even on the lukewarm steak. After we ate, we were asked for feedback by the owner, so I shared what I had written with him. Without responding to this, we were then asked several times to leave a “good review”. The waiting time for the bill was surprisingly long due to four employees waiting at the counter area. For me, overall, more appearance than reality.

Elise Restaurant in Eppendorf is the best Greek restaurant in Hamburg with lots of vegan dishes, we were there for the first time and will be our favorite Greek. Thank you, keep it up :)

We were there on Valentine's Day, although it was very crowded, we still felt like we were in good hands. Everything was beautifully decorated in a “Valentine’s Day look”. The employees were all very friendly and accommodating! There is a really good and large selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes, which I don't know from other Greek restaurants. Unfortunately we didn't try them, so I can't comment on the taste. But our non-vegetarian dishes were also delicious! We'd love to come back here! It's definitely worth a visit!

A really great restaurant. Really everything is great and totally authentic.

The restaurant is really nicely presented and the staff is nice and attentive. However, I have to deduct two stars because the pricing seems very high. I paid €37 for bifteki with tomato sauce and fries with mayonnaise. That's definitely too much as it most likely wasn't organic. In particular, I found the price for the additional mayonnaise I ordered (no fries are dry) to be inappropriately high: €2.90 for a small bowl of mayonnaise... Sorry, but that doesn't work!

We were there with the voucher book (Hamburg and the surrounding area). From start to finish, it was a successful meal! Some bread first, a small fruity aperitif (without alcohol) and very tasty main courses. The ambience is very appealing and there was nice music playing.

Elie's Greek Restaurant offers solid, classic Greek cuisine in a pleasant but simple atmosphere. The food is good, although nothing exceptional. Unfortunately, there is a lack of flexibility for special requests, which somewhat spoils the overall impression. Service is polite but could be more customer focused.

We had the menu delivered to us for the second time and it won't be the last time. The best Greek food around! The food is super tasty and fresh, large portions that fill you up, the service on the phone was great, so you're happy to spend a little more money. Only recommended!

If you like good Greek food, a relaxed atmosphere and extremely friendly hosts who give you personal advice at the table, Eliés is the right place for you. The meat and fish were perfectly prepared and presented very attractively. The slightly higher Eppendorf prices are made up for by the fresh products used and the generous portions. We'll definitely be back!

Great restaurant: delicate high-end gyros and top halva dessert.

Unfortunately we didn't have a good experience at this restaurant on New Year's Eve. The bifteki was raw inside and with the Metaxa gyros, first the wrong dish came, then the right one - but cold. The salad had virtually no dressing and the prices, especially for the side dishes, were far too high. It was cool at the window and other guests were moved around during the meal because the space planning was apparently not sufficient. In addition, the wrong dishes were listed on our bill. The service was tried hard, but seemed overwhelmed overall. All in all, the price-performance ratio here wasn't right at all.

I often order from Eliés and am always very satisfied. The food is tasty and the portions are generous. Delivery is always very quick and the service is impeccable. I'm happy to be your customer.

Very good Greek restaurant with a great menu and delicious food. The service is very friendly and attentive, the decor is very inviting and relaxed. We had the saganaki, which was great, and the chicken soup, which also tasted great. There were 4 soups to choose from, all sounded great. For the main course we had gyros and the chicken pan. Both were very good, the gratinated pan was particularly tasty. At the end we enjoyed a mocha, which rounded everything off nicely. Highly recommended.

We had been booking New Year's Eve for weeks and when we arrived, they rudely told us that terrace or nothing. The stoves don't work on New Year's Eve, it's extremely cold at dinner. The food is expensive and bad, especially the meat that is not from Wayú even dreaming and poorly cooked, stale. To top it off, they ask us for a taxi, a colleague from the restaurant goes, he even had something inside and charges us 45 euros for a 5 km trip. They ruined our night and we don't care about the falsehoods they answer, it was like that. Absolutely unpresentable.

We came across this shop because of an Instagram post where the selection of vegan and vegetarian dishes was advertised. Yes, there is indeed a selection of cold and warm dishes of this kind, but I think that the Greek touch has been completely lost. My dish was soaked in oil (vegetables as a casserole with béchamel and cheese). I don't actually have a problem with heartburn, but that was clearly too much of a good thing, the vegetables were completely cooked through. The vegan dish for 20 plus euros only consisted of a halved eggplant, topped with meat substitute mince and vegan cheese. So it's nice that you adapt, but these are not dishes that you should offer in a restaurant, at least not for the price when it is so "unspectacular". What was really great, however, was the feta from the regular starter menu with honey. That's how I know it authentically from Greece. Delicately seasoned, a little side salad and a great dip. We decided on cocktails that evening, according to the menu 0.4. The glass looked significantly smaller to me, the preparation took a very long time, the taste of the mojito was anything but what I am familiar with as a mojito - was it with vodka? Something tasted really strange. And the waiter had also laughed at the request for a choice of drinks with a wry expression on his face: "Do you want to go party?!", as if you don't normally order cocktails here. So on the whole the visit was quite sober if you pay 40 plus euros (without dessert) per person, and at the end they didn't even offer a short drink. The service was rather impersonal. The “normal” dishes are very good. Still, it's a shame, because when you go to a restaurant you're looking for that certain something and not just stupid food intake. Uh. We also sat on wallpapered garden chairs at a shallower table than our neighbors and a bit of freshness and draft of the air could also be felt.

I had a really good visit with Eliés. I had a delicious vegan Metaxa casserole with a Primitivo I was very satisfied. The service was very friendly and we felt very comfortable. The restaurant looks very neat, clean and is harmoniously decorated. There were all sorts of little things to accompany the food and a nice surprise at the end.

When we asked for a menu, the waitress told us that there was no dessert, but that she would give us something special to eat. She kept her promise. Super nice evening :)

Secluded, very quiet restaurant with good selection of food. Gyros very tender and very plentiful. Prices are a little higher than usual. Supplements even have to be paid separately. Service was courteous and extremely friendly. Highly recommended.

Great spot for fine dining with your spouse, friends and family. Nice Atmosphere with services. The portion of the food sufficient for one person. I have true lamb knuckle and the taste really delicious. Don’t forget to try their dessert with fire presentation.

One of the few good Greek restaurants in Hamburg. Freshly prepared dishes (e.g. fresh calamari, not frozen food as is often the case; homemade or very good purchased coleslaw, good quality meat), all in plentiful quantities. The service is very attentive and yet pleasantly reserved, the ambience is a successful mix of rustic and modern. All in all a good address. The only small downer: the sometimes overabundant food. For the same price, which is appropriate for the quality, a little less would have been possible in some cases. +++++++++++ Note on ordering food via the restaurant's website (December 11, 2024). Eat **** Services* Ambience (not applicable) What happened? The food we ordered was delivered significantly differently (no sauce, so only dry meat) than stated on the menu. The subsequent phone call with an employee lasted a full 13 minutes, during which I was repeatedly explained that it was a shame and that I could get a drink or an appetizer for free next time. Unfortunately, the information on the website for months has not been consistent with that on the delivery service pages. That can hardly be my problem. My request for an immediate correction/re-delivery (re-delivery of the food that had now become cold (for over 30 euros) was vehemently rejected with the point that they would go bankrupt if everything was re-delivered every time there were complaints. It happens so often ? Service and customer orientation are different. My solution: I had the sauce delivered, tried to keep the food warm in the oven or gently reheat it and unfortunately almost an hour later I experienced a dubious and lukewarm enjoyment. Oh yes — as compensation there was a bottle with a mixed drink (as a diabetic I can't drink it). Thank you Restaurant Elies — that's not how you treat guests (the fact that I am or was a regular guest doesn't matter here). The behavior is downright shabby.
