Very nice atmosphere. Waiters very accommodating. The food is beautifully presented and (fortunately) deviates somewhat from the standard Greek. Not just a pile of meat with fries, but delicious, beautifully prepared gyros with various side dishes. I was very full from the amount.

Food and staff are great. Portions could be a little larger but the quality was perfect.

We ordered from Eliés and were completely satisfied. First of all, fast delivery time, even though we ordered on Friday evening, and then the food: everything was fresh, everything was super tasty. Excellent gyros and super tasty stifado. Only the portions could be a little bit bigger.

Went in for a casual Monday dinner but left with a whole experience! The food was delicious, the portion generous. When they said that the Grillplatte was a big one, they clearly meant it.

We ordered from Eliés today and were very satisfied. We chose this restaurant because it also has a good selection of vegan Greek dishes. Our order for both of us consisted of saganaki and gyros in Metaxa sauce, 1x “normal”, 1x vegan. Everything was delicious and harmonious. The vegan "meat" had a great consistency, the vegan feta is "just" tofu, but it is very soft and seasoned to taste really delicious. The meat and cheese variants were equally well received by my friend. This was our 2nd order from Eliès. The first time we weren't completely satisfied, which I'm only mentioning here because I would like to praise the great and accommodating customer service in this regard. After a nice phone call we decided to try it again and were not disappointed!! It's nice to know that they still care about the individual guest here. Thanks for that.

Little story first. We order online quite often and have therefore seen and tested a lot. We also live very centrally in Hamburg and that's why we're always overwhelmed by the large number of restaurants that can deliver. Luckily, we discovered the Greek Ellies about 2 years ago through the recommendation of friends and since then there hasn't been another Greek restaurant for us. We have probably ordered from Ellies 10 times and have never been disappointed, especially the gyros are simply a dream. Unfortunately we have never managed to eat on site, I hope we can manage it in the future. The smoothies are also recommended. Particularly noteworthy is the service itself; we have rarely seen such friendly employees on the phone, who provide information right from the start about even the smallest changes or a longer delivery time.

A few weeks ago we celebrated my birthday here. It was a wonderful evening with excellent food. The table was beautifully decorated and there was a fantastic surprise at the end of the evening. We were there with a few children who were also looked after very touchingly. Overall a great evening! Thank you!!!

Hello, Eliés was a special kind of culinary experience. The atmosphere of the restaurant is inviting and authentic, which immediately creates a holiday mood. A particular highlight was Finn's Ouzo. The ouzo was excellent and perfectly tempered, with a subtle note of anise that went wonderfully with the Greek evening. In summary, I can only warmly recommend “Eliés” – both for the excellent cuisine and the first-class service. There was even a red rose at the end...

We ordered food here, in response to a simple question on the phone my order was canceled even though I didn't want it. I didn't get any food or money back. The employees and the owner were so disrespectful, they just hung up on me and were also racist, and they also weren't cooperative at all. Customer satisfaction is probably completely irrelevant here as long as money is made. I wouldn't recommend the restaurant to anyone!!

I would like to share my experience at this restaurant as I was very pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious, the service was also excellent, and the waiters were friendly and accommodating. It happened that that evening I forgot my backpack with important things and documents in it. The restaurant called me to let me know they found my backpack. I was very happy that everything was fine. I went to pick him up and wanted to reward the waiters financially for this good deed, but they refused the money and just said that I should come back and they would be happy. I think it's rare to meet such nice people these days, so I wanted to share my experience and say thank you again!

We had a very tasty meal here with large portions. The outside terrace is nice and quiet, cozy in a side street, you can sit here very nicely and enjoy the sun and the food.

It was our first time here and we can fully recommend a visit. The outdoor terrace is very idyllic, relaxed beats are playing in the background, bread with dip and ouzo were available for free, the various dishes were all very tasty and beautifully prepared. There is also a small play area outside for children. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. We will definitely come back!

Very good food! I made the mistake of booking through The Fork. A restaurant apparently hardly earns anything from it. Why are you listed there? A separate reservation system on the homepage would make sense.

Great summer evening on the cozy outdoor terrace. The staff looked after us very courteously. The meal was excellent. Not the typical Greek uniform style. Our dessert set us on fire. Delicious halva with Metaxa flambéed.

Well, we've never ordered food from such a bad shop and had it delivered, just slapped on a meatball that sells it as bifteki. All the reviews are definitely fake reviews. Even the Metaxa sauce with mushrooms has never been available before.

Overpriced mediocre food with friendly but absolutely untrained service staff. Server gave wrong information when asked specifics on food (chicken soup is not a clear broth), messed up orders and didn’t clear the empty plates or glasses. Kid food came 25 minutes before adult food. Ouzo was served out of the fridge, not out of the freezer. Free bread was served after the kid food arrived. When we asked for more bread it was unexpectedly charged at 5€, but there was no dip, since server thought the half empty dip from the first round of bread still does the trick. Bread was charred and tested bitter. Gyros was ok. I wouldn’t come back here as there are a gazillion family run Greek restaurants in Hamburg that charge half as much as this venue while the food is better, servers are capable and ouzo is served ice cold.

We stayed at Eliés during a pre-cruise overnight stay. I have rarely found a comparable restaurant. Large portions, very tasty, beautifully presented. And the service is excellent, very warm, always customer-oriented, all wishes are fulfilled. The farewell rose was the cherry on the cake...I would happily recommend this restaurant...

We were there for the first time today. The staff is super nice and accommodating. When I asked them to prepare a small cake with a candle for a birthday, they surprised us with a table decorated for the occasion. (Birthday garland, table decorations, etc.) After a perfect meal including a vegetarian dish, there was finally a birthday cake with candles as dessert. The ladies were given a rose as a farewell gift. It couldn't be better. We were definitely not there for the last time.

Since I'm not from Hamburg, I've been looking for a Greek restaurant for 5 years where I'm happy with the gyros... and I can finally say: I've found it! (Yeah, I'm being critical haha) I've never been to a Greek restaurant where the gyros tasted so good. The croquettes are also handmade - they also blew me away. Another big plus point goes to the lactose-free tzatziki! If you can't tolerate lactose, you're in good hands here, as there are a variety of vegan alternatives. The staff are so accommodating but not intrusive and the restaurant is on a quiet street, making it very pleasant to eat and chat. It was a pleasure!

Have eaten at Eliés several times and are always thrilled. The staff is extremely friendly and accommodating. Finally a Greek restaurant that also has many great vegetarian and vegan options on the menu. The vegan gyros are super tasty and the portions are often so big that you can look forward to it again the following day ;) we always like to come back :)

We were in Elie's restaurant and bar, a Greek restaurant in Eppendorf, which was all a dream for us as we had never been to such a nice restaurant as a Greek :) a wonderfully recommended restaurant for all tastes. We had gyros with fries and gyros vegan with rice ordered what we really haven't eaten anywhere else, everything is like homemade and of high quality and more than 1a thank you, keep it up :)

The Elies Restaruant is a delightful place with incredibly sweet staff who make you feel right at home. The food is exceptionally delicious, with every dish bursting with flavor. The location is Eppendorf, but I don't know how to justify the prices. You pay €25 for a portion of GYROS WITH FRIES without a drink!!! The side dishes are also at two to three times the price of others. There is neither a special view nor is the quality exceptionally good. The food is like from a good snack bar, but at prices like from a high-class restaurant. The only thing that differs here from a snack bar is the noble and extremely friendly service. In my opinion, it is questionable whether all of this can be justified with the situation in Eppendorf. But I would never go there again. I have also seen in other comments that the operator justifies these prices with inflation. Other restaurants in this segment do not have such prices as in Blankenese, for example, and are ultimately also affected by inflation. In my opinion, anything over €18 for gyros with fries is overpriced.

The vegan gyros together with the fries as a side dish were very tasty and even if you are very hungry you will definitely be full here. Finally found vegan gyros after years. It was incredibly delicious! The plate was very well filled, we took the rest home with us because our stomachs were full. We ordered lamb skewer and sea bream, after about 30 minutes they called us and said that lamb skewer was sold out and we could order something else with lamb. We chose lamb chops but it was 2 euros cheaper than lamb skewer and he said he would send us one with 6 pieces instead of the normal 5 piece portion. After a total of 90 minutes we got our order but with 5 pieces of lamb chops! so after 90 minutes we got the food, which was not our first choice, with 2 euros more payment!!!!

This shop was recommended to me...what can I say...12.90 for a halloumi dish, which consists of three pieces of dry halloumi and the rest is bland salad with a dollop of "dressing"...we continue with the starter "platter" ..four dips, two wine leaves and a touch of sheep's cheese garnished with a pepperoni in a plastic bowl and two half-dried cherry tomatoes for 15.90!!!!! That's just cheeky and a rip-off... with other providers these would be classic side dishes for around 5.90 - 6.90... that's an absolute joke... oh yes, the side dish was simply overlooked but included in the calculation
